Heeding the Call (Raxian Empire Opening)

Obj--A/D

Ardgal listened to the transmission with a nod, "Begin retreat, we are going underground, men. Where they can't go and cannot track us. Find the sewer access grates in the nearby buildings, begin the exit."

The sound of the explosions began to fill the air as the enemy discovered the minefield around the perimeter. The P-6 explosive packages exploded in a ball of roaring flame, vaporizing all in the blast. The Alpha Company had been thorough in placing their explosives, the minefield was a zone of pure death. It would slow the enemy down long enough to cover the retreat. The volunteers and the Alpha company filed down through the sewer access grates under the city. Ardgal was the last to go under, Strongbow was with him. The soldiers covered their retreat by blasting the access points.

His HUD lit up, the built in LED lights in his helmet and the others in Alpha Company illuminated the way. They army divided into smaller groups that would be harder to track on their way to the rondevoux point, each knew the way and where to go. Ardgal took point with his group, leading them with his rifle in hand. Through the ancient sewers they went, throguh duracrete and archaic durasteel. Suddenly the ground crumbled under him and Ardgal felt himself falling through the pitch black. He could feel his body bounce as he fell, disorienting him and slowly wearing him down. His fall finally stopped as he landed on his back-unconsious.

Kay nodded a little. They were walking right into a trap, and Terrac's warning indicated that there was no way back just yet. She shook her head a bit at the offered blaster and dug out her own small one from her satchel. Though she didn't keep it out, she just set it within easy reach. Her hand kept close to it, however.

She whispered to [member="Veiere Arenais"], "We should be able to overpower him easily enough. Then at the very least, get ourselves safely out of here, even if we have to take him hostage." It wasn't quite what she first had in mind, but she had to be adaptable.

Meanwhile on The Free Lady, Terrac was pulling a few wires and dislocating some fuses, cutting the power. It was only temporary of course. He'd be able to set it right later. For now though he watched and waited, blaster at the ready. While Kay might always keep hers on stun, Terrac had no qualms about killing people.

Star groaned as she rolled and took a breath in as she fought to keep her eyes opened black spots dancing around in her vision as she could barely hear over the ringing the metal feet clanking towards her and slightly auditable talking between the droids as she slowly stood guns raised at her something about put your hands up or something

She gave a cough and then a grin" sorry but I don't do droids" she said and gave a force burst out and started running holding her side a she xould....damn she had a metal piece in the armor thankfully God the person made this good

She managed to get far and quickly got a direct line to [member="Gray Raxis"] " hey "panting" gray I got a problem agh damn got a breach in my armor and commando droids on my back "coughing " I don't know if you can but I need back up now I am not going to last long against these things

Obj: D--Getting captured

Ardgal slowly blinked himself awake. The air around him smelled of strange chemicals. He could feel pain throbbing through his body. He was suspended by chains on his wrists and ankles, facing downward. The room was dark, too dark to see. But he could hear voices, and he couldn't move.

"We have found one, after so many years living in the dark, Nom, we found a viable subject," hissed one.

"Yes, yes like a great angel, it fell from the skies into our laps, Viull," hissed the other, "We can at last complete the experiments, the soul of Yun-Yammka shall be appeased and fall upon a new form."

"But will it be worthy?" hissed Viull.

"It will be," assured Nom, Ardgal felt a claw-like hand caress the back of his head, "When we are done with it. Let us spread the holy oil on its skin."

Suddenly Ardgal felt the searing pain tear across his back as hands began to spread liquid across it, he spasmed and jolted with a roar, unable to get away.

"Blessed be the Yun-Yuuzhan, Blessed be he," the two voice chanted, slathering their concoction across his skin.

Strongbow reached the rondevoux point along with the rest of the Alpha company. He could tell the didn't trust him, but that didn't really matter as much right now. The general had gone missing and they had to find him, for the good of the people here. These soldiers needed their leader and he would help. He also knew who else would help him.

"Calling in the Order," he said into his comm, "I've scoped out the Raxis clan, they are good to go. One of them has been lost in the sewers, he fell into some sort of trap deep under ground. We need to get to him and rescue--otherwise this whole op is going to go pear-shaped. We have one shot at this and we might as well try and get this done now. Do you read me?"

"We read you, Strongbow," said a female voice, "This is Ulfen, we are picking up your position. ETA: 5 minutes. Should we go light or heavy?"

"Come in heavy," Strongbow said with a nod, "Better safe than sorry here. We may find ourselves fighting things out of our league here."

"That's a good copy, sir. Out."

[member="Lady Kay"] spoke and Veiere nodded in confirmation, soon moving to take the lead while the two security personnel left the group to scout ahead. He had already drawn upon the hilt of his lightsaber as they continued to walk, the estate of this supposed Grand Moff was rather large and well established, furthermore it also seemed to be manned with droids similar to those within the settlement and as their guide had told him so, they would soon find themselves confronted by one as they rounded the hallway corner and came into a larger open room much like a gallery of sorts.

It seemed to be ready and waiting, though too had Veiere been alarmed by the surge in the force, his blade a light of vibrant blue snapped out against the open air with a electric hiss, sidestepping away from Kay as the Droid managed to volley off a single shot to which the lightsaber caught and parried off back towards one of the far windows before Veiere himself pivoted on his back foot, turning a full rotation so that he could gain the momentum to bring his blade cleaving through the metal alloy of the robotic guard, from what was best described as it's waist to it's neck, the angle enabling him to slice through the firearm as well before the contraption dropped to the floor in a loud clatter and a heap of parts.

Releasing a hastened breath, Veiere paused, not turning to look to Kay nor doing anything with the droid itself but simply froze, his mind reaching out to search the floor they were currently on, his senses trying to read who might have heard the shot and were coming his way. Much to his surprise however and his suspicions, it seemed they were in the clear. Contrary to what one might think, this was a bad thing and only reinforced the matter of their being set up.

Only when he was certain that they had a moment to themselves, he turned back to look to Kay, knowing well before hand that she'd managed to avoid any injury, he'd fortunately been quick enough to catch the initial shot yet it was their impending confrontation that put caution in him. "Lack of response from this only means that the rest are probably on the same floor of our host...-I would say quite evidently that avoiding hostilities is now out of the question..." As if he really had to point that out, yet he had hoped he would not need to engage anyone among the living and sentient. He offered her a half smirk in the clumsiness around the suggested fact though bobbed his head to the side in a casual nod as if to say, 'you know me...'.

As explosive as the sonic wake of air and oxygen that erupted around the invading vessel that erupted out of full warp, the Baccara Surged out of hyperspace with an explosive barrage of force, the shields decreasing immensely as the stress from the speed and velocity of the flight was suddenly acquitted and the Freighter finally loosed to the open darkness that was their blanket of isolation...

Here there was no passive nor subtle entrance unto the world, the ship flying straight into the open vectory of the worlds sensors with no sign of reluctance in that it was openly discovered in it's trajectory, the path of the vessels landing being awaited by the very same guard that were responsible for the Grand Moff, Zarack himself a mercenary well known for giving little care for what side of morality that he fell upon.

Liam, it was the lone name that Zarack had been given but he didn't need much more than that. The Local guard or rather the droid sect of guards cleared his way as the hooded figure clad in a loose black cloak with the hood covering the foremost of his head, moved to push through his way into the open room to which he expected the former Imperial awaited him.

"You asked for me..." He declared plainly and without bias, moving to part the cloak to show not only the blaster strapped beneath his right arm but the two lightsaber hilts strapped across his chest, weapons that held red synthetic crystals, a compliment of his Sith Mentor of whome he had claimed the weapons from and has subsequently stained their aura in the presence of death that he had created in his desire to see his own ends fulfilled.

D) Field test the "Adjudicator" Mobile Assault Platform. By attacking the local barrackses and the rest of the Imperial's gear and supplies depots.

Titan was in the first of many Adjudicator M.A.P.s to be produced. As it rolled through the town's streets it crushed anything in its way. In the command center Titan watched the rest of the Clan doing what they were doing on the command screen. He had drones deployed throughout the city, watching the Clans every move, as well as the Imperials. The few Troopers that opposed it were soon killed, either by the giant crushing wheels, or one of the many spherical laser cannons mounted on the tank. Nothing was standing in the Tanks way, nothing. "Sir we have an AT-ST coming through on Aurek Drive." One of the men in charge of the scanners said. Titan, sitting in his chair, smiled. "Fire the Missile Launcher." And as the AT-ST came around the corner, one of the missile launchers swiveled around to fire at the walker, the consussion missile launcher destroyed the Walker easily, the buring husk dropped to the ground and was crushed by the M.A.P.-D5's wheels.

Kay had stepped back to give [member="Veiere Arenais"] some room, even though he had taken the same precaution. But you could never be too careful. The oddness of the situation caused her more worry. She eyed the walls all around them, the whole place feeling like a trap about to spring.

And right now she had to be the damsel in distress as she didn't want her Force ability revealed. But if she could use it without notice, then she would surely try. "I'm sorry that I got us into this mess. I should know better, yet I was only trying to help Gray as he had helped me many times before."

Maybe she should just stick to Commenor for a while, save the diplomatic missions for when things are more stable.

Her hand kept near to her blaster as she walked. The two security guards stopped once they reached a large set of double doors in the hallway. There seemed to be a large room on the other side with more than one entrance. It was puzzling as there seemed to be no guards outside, so it could be that this was a side door. The two men waited for Kay and Veiere to catch up with them. When they did, Kay brought her finger up to her mouth in a bid to cease any talking. She heard a voice on the other side of the door.

"You asked for me..." She didn't recognize the voice, but knew that it didn't belong to the Moff purely by the words that were spoken.Kay looked at Veiere. It seemed as though something else was afoot. All that they had to do was to listen and find out what that was.

Ardgal felt his body hoisted up on chains, to the upright position. His muscles spasmed and quivered, the biological chemicals dripping off his body burned and ached like nothing else before. droplets found their way into his eyes, he stifled a growl of agony. Show no pain, do not let them know that you are in pain and they cannot know they are breaking you.

'He is growing stronger, much much stronger," Nom cooed pleased, his feet clacking against the stone flooring in the dark.

"But will he survive the process? He is growing weak already, and we still have yet to complete him," Viull asked, his voice showing suspicion.

"He will," Nom assured him, "we just need to let the Leeches have their way with him."

Ardgal could suddenly feel slimy, slick bodies slithering along his arms, working their way down to his shoulders and body. Every inch stung as he felt teeth buried into his skin and toxins. His lips parted in a howl of agony as these slimming, slithering bodies covered every inch of his skin.

Strongbow made his way back to the Alpha Company. One of the commanding officers saw him coming and held his hand up, "Sir, please, we are appreciative of your help, but leave this to us."

Strongbow smiled and shook his head, "Do you even have any idea what your up against? Or who I am? Or what I am? You will need so much more than what you have here if your going to rescue your friend."

"He is more than our friend sir," the officer said in a stern voice, "Ardgal is our brother and our general. I suggest some respect is in order."

"Then you are going to need all the help you can get, Virgil. You are going to need my order. Let's rescue him."
