His answer wasn't really all that surprising after he had claimed his victory the way he did. Still, she giggled a little and wrapped her arms around him while he cradled her. Until she was tossed over his shoulder with ease and heard him speak again.

"Hmm, I love it when you're like this," Valery teased and luckily, she didn't have to wait very long. Their cabin was real close to the beach, so he was able to reach it within a few minutes. Once he opened the doors and moved inside, Valery leaned back and almost desperately searched for his lips to pull him into a deep kiss.

"I love you, babe," she whispered softly but still with a grin. She had teased him all day so now she was going to get her reward, and he was taking his.

It was only when they made it into the doorway that she was finally set down. And she didn't have to wait long for the kiss. He cut her off midsentence before again lifting her up, not like before. Still holding her, still kissing her. The Force closed the door behind him. Right now, she was just his.

Some time later, much later, he'd yawn and stretch as he stood in the kitchen. Casually cooking up some late lunch, given he ruined their reservations for lunch that day. Least he could do. Whatever she wanted for lunch, he was making. She needed to recover. He paused as he finished off the dish, glancing down the hall towards the bedroom with a faint grin. "Up up! Got lunch for ya, love."

Valery groaned and pulled the blankets around her when he stepped back into the hallway enough to call out to her. The initial response he got in return was just some mumbling - she was clearly exhausted and needed a moment after their rather wild afternoon together.

"Coming... coming..." She then said, as she walked into the main living area. Valery was walking a little strange and her hair was still a mess, but the loving smile she had was as vibrant as it could be. "Eggs, bacon and some veggies? You know me too well." She walked over and pressed a kiss against his cheek for all the effort.

Both in the kitchen and back there~

"You feeling good too? I didn't see you get much rest," Valery then continued. She sat down at the kitchen table and just looked at him. Her face still faintly blushing. "Might have to take it easy the rest of the day. Then we can keep the next round of sports for tonight. What do you think?"

"Figured you could use some food to recharge." He teased ever so gently as he set a plate out for her. Set out his own to sit across from her. Take a bite of his own food as he watched her eat with a far too smug expression. Especially with how much she was still blushing.

"Take all the time you need. You're gonna need it."

"It's very nice of you." Valery plopped down with a heavy sigh and rubbed her neck before starting with the scrambled eggs and bacon. The last time she felt this sore was...well, the last time they spent a night together, but it was definitely intense and something she couldn't get used to.

It would always feel special.

"I'm going to need it, huh?" She smirked and shifted around a little because of how he looked at her. That alone could make her blush and squirm in her seat. "Well, I wouldn't have it any other way. I can just...feel that we're going to get what we want soon. And not just because of how sore I am." She chuckled and dug into her meal again.

Then she shot him a smug look herself, "If you can resist me long enough, we could go for a walk into the city. Look around, maybe some shopping and rhen dinner at that one restaurant?"

"We're gonna be making all kinds of assurances before this trip is done, I assure ya."

He cracked a wide grin and a wink before taking another bite of his food. Chuckling, mostly to himself. And at her. There was no hiding his line of thought from her. He leaned forward, took another bite with a smug expression. Resist her long enough? "You're the one who's gonna have to resist, love."

"But, that sounds like a good idea. We should have at least one night out on the town."

"Are we now?" Valery tried in an attempt to play cool but when she saw that wide grin, the wink, and felt what he wanted, she already failed at being cool. She gently bit her lower lip and rubbed her legs together as yet another wave of heat traveled through her body.

Oh yeah, she was going to have to resist. But could she really?

"I'm not sure how long I can..." She admitted. Her hand slid over the table so she could place it over his, and her fiery eyes searched for that special connection with him. "But I'm sure we can make time in our busy schedule for one night out." She flashed a grin and got up to her feet. "I'll be riiight back."

As he probably could have expected, it took her a little bit to get changed but her hair was fixed up and loose, she was wearing her black dress with the short skirt and a cool leather jacket with tall boots. Showing off and teasing? Maybe, but she had to look good going out.

"Ready to go?" She waggled her eyebrows to challenge.

He gave a wink before raising a brow. Watching her walk away. Get dressed? Given how she dressed the last time they went out for some night dancing she went with the most provocative outfit she could get her hands on. Though as she stepped out, he blinked. And smiled. He stood up, walking over to where she stood. Took her hand to lift up to his lips and gently kiss the back of.

After making her return dressed up more nicely than she usually would, Valery watched Kahlil step closer and she could already feel his emotions through their bond. With a smile, she offered her hand and blushed faintly when he kissed it. "Hmm, a real gentleman now, huh? After all that teasing." She chuckled and shot him a wink.

"I was thinking..." Valery then continued, her fingers now interlacing with his, so they could start walking together, hand-in-hand along the beach. "If we walk through town, there are tall cliffs behind it. We could take the small trail up there and watch the sunset. But while we do, there's something my Master once showed me that might be interesting."

At this point, they were following the path along the beach that reached the town up ahead. Families were all around them, and people were having the time of their lives, but Valery was only focused on him.

"It's a path to visually enter my mind. You'll be able to see vague impressions of memories I have or even just parts of who I am as a person. Then you can access a few and be able to learn about me, through me." She paused and stepped in front of him to take both his hands. "What do you think?" she asked curiously, and with her brightest smile.

"Have to be at some point, no?"

He just winked before letting his hand stay in hers. Squeeze, keep her close. Even as they mingled with others, it really was just them together. That's all that mattered to him. He listened in silence for a moment, then blinked. Tilted his head to the side a little.

"More memories together? .. But under more of your control? I wouldn't be opposed, if it's something you want to share."

"I suppose you're right," Valery chuckled and chewed on her lip in response to the wink. The walk along the beach that followed was really nice and peaceful. The sun was shining but a gentle breeze kept it comfortable, the fresh air of nature around them was calming and there was nothing to worry about.

All she needed and wanted to think about is him. Them.

"Well, it's not entirely under my control, but you'll be able to see and be part of old memories, or even recent ones," Valery explained before she looked at him again. "I'd love to share anything with you. I have nothing to hide but... only if you want to, of course." He knew a lot about her already or they had talked about it before. But seeing and feeling it would be a very different experience.

"I just thought that it might be interesting." She chuckled and squeezed his hand again as they reached the forest path leading up to the cliffs. There were far less people out here, but small birds and other little creatures wandered all around them. It made her smile all over again.

"You've nothing to hide because you don't owe me anything." He squeezed her hand a little more firmly before smiling much brighter. There was nothing due or owed, ever, in their relationship. That's why it worked.

That's why he loved her with all his very being.

"But it does sound interesting. .. I can try and show you the same, but I won't lie. There's.. Not many good memories to look at or go through. Especially if you're going to end up feeling them as I did."

Valery perked up a little at his response and nodded, "I can't even imagine either one of us owing each other anything. Everything I've ever said or done has been pure...because I love you." She smiled brightly herself and squeezed his hand a little too.

Then she smirked once more as the topic shifted. Albeit only briefly when he mentioned his own memories and how there weren't many good ones. "There are a lot of bad memories I have too but that's okay. It's not really about just seeing the good things. It's about connecting and learning more about each other."

"Whether good or bad, every memory this technique unlocks is important to who we are." Her eyes shifted to a couple of birds and softly, she began to whistle a tune that seemed to speak to them. One flew over a few seconds later and settled on her shoulder.

Valery just smirked. "I would love to always find ways to connect with you even more."

Kahlil listened in some relative silence, his gaze still on hers even as she looked around. Started whistling to the birds. Unsurprisingly it landed on her shoulder. Kahlil was probably better with animals, but she was certainly skilled. Maybe that was something they should work on together. He hummed a little in that line of thought, but shrugged. That's not what they were here for.

"If you're sure you want to see them, you absolutely can. And I'll gladly see whatever you have to offer. Whatever the case, it'll be fun I bet."

"I'm sure," Valery said before she gently booped the little bird on her shoulder. It flew away shortly after, leaving Valery to chuckle softly before turning back to her husband. "There's nothing I can see what will change anything, but I think it's good for us to see and learn more about each other."

She smirked a little and stepped closer, "I'm sure it'll be fun as well~" Valery shot him a wink, grabbed his hand, and started pulling him along up the path, her pace quickened a little to fight the incline they were on. Soon enough, they were at the top of the cliffs and able to enjoy the amazing view across the beach, the ocean, and the city right below them. It was a beautiful sight and to admire it more, Valery stepped closer to the edge and let the gentle breeze flow through her hair.

"We should take a picture here together at sunset. But first..." she turned around and slowly lowered herself into a meditative position. After gesturing for him to do the same, she reached out through their bond and opened herself completely. "Take my hand and focus on my mind. You should feel a call, and I'd like you to follow it," she explained.

"I'll let you in, and you'll find the doorways into my memories."

Kahlil nodded his head in agreement. Smiled. Fun, and important to learn for one another. Especially to learn. He blinked as he was dragged along, but didn't fight her in the slightest. Especially not when he realized where they were going. Right to the top, to relax beside one another. Watch the sun set. Or at least were going to. He raised a brow as she just sat down in a meditative stance, but chuckled and nodded.

He took her hand. Closed his eyes. Let his mind focus on hers.

The second Kahlil took her hand and reached out, Valery would do the opposite and draw him inside. His vision would shift from seeing her in the resl world, to a manifestation of her mind. Or well, a chambered section of it - a pathway into who his wife really was.

Now he stood in a long hallway, with 4 doors on each side and one in the center at the very back. Each one had different marks on it, and very distinct feelings in the Force. Some perhaps seemed familiar, while others showed a distant path very few would ever hear about.

Which door would he choose?

Door 1: life
The door was a light green with symbols of musical notes covering its design. From behind the door, Kahlil could hear a soft, peaceful humming.

Door 2: Pain
The door was red and had the head of a Vornskr painted on it. Three large cuts moved across the wooden board and from underneath, a yellow glow could be seen.

Door 3: Loss
This door looked beaten to hell, with cuts and holes all across it. Several tears ran down from the top and from underneath, a dark shadow reached his feet.

Door 4: conflict
This door was black with a large symbol of a lightsaber carved in the center, its blade purple. Similar to the blade, a purple glow came from underneath the door.

Door 5: Light
This door was white, with two golden stripes horizontally across it. A bright, almost blinding glow came from this door. Behind it, Kahil could hear the sound of screams, as well as clashing lightsabers.

Door 6: Regrets
This was a simple wooden door but with the symbol of the Republic carved into its center. A flickering light came from underneath the door.

Door 7: Love
The most beautiful door of them all - it saw a couple standing facing each other with beautiful vines around the edges of the door. They were holding hands and through the Force, he'd feel incredible joy.

Door 8: Fear
On this door, he'd be able to see a large cut in the center, going down from the top to the bottom. On each side of the cut, there was a person

Door 9: .....
The door was made of steel and had an orange glowing question mark in the center of it. Behind it, all he could sense was Valery.

He glanced through the doors. It was an odd sensation, being here. He knew what it reminded him of, any normal kind of vision. Each door caught his eye. Her history, just out of sight. Some he felt he knew. Some he knew he didn't. Kahlil paused, glancing to the first door itself. The humming wasn't something he recognized. Or did he? Hard to tell. Regardless, he reached a hand up to set against it and slowly push it open.

Kahlil had every intention to go through every door, so why not go in order?

With his choice made, a bright light flashed into Kahlil's vision and when it settled, he found himself standing on top of a woodem floor inside a simple house. Even though he had never been there before, it would feel familiar - as if it was his own home and he was supposed to be there.

Close to him was a kitchen, where a woman with orange eyes and long, dark-brown hair was cooking dinner for the family. She looked familiar as well, but she lacked the scar and physique of his wife.

But as she worked, a audden tremor that rocked the house forced her to stop, and the crying of a baby could be heard from the 2nd floor. The woman frowned and quickly began to move, as it seemed to get worse. On the way there, she flashed Kahlil a warm smile not unlike the one Valer often showed.

"Heyyy, Valery. What's wrong, sweetie?" She asked, before picking up her baby daughter to cradle her. Valery just kept crying, kicking and screaming, but it was what her mother did next that finally helped calm her down - she began to hum a song.

"This can't keep going like this, dear. What if she hurts herself? What if she hurts us?" A man's voice suddenly asked. A tall man with purple eyes had appeared as well, and looked at Kahlil as if he was staring at his son.

"I know. But I just...I don't know if I can give her up."

Kahlil blinked slowly. Looked around the room. It was a place he'd never seen. A place he'd never known. And likely one Valery never knew. It only took a second to realize what he was watching. The day she last saw her mother. Her parents. He watched silently, not wanting to interrupt or change anything. He wanted to see. To listen. And maybe bring her back the memory she probably didn't know she had.
