"Beats them?"

Cora appeared at Valery's other side, hands clasped behind her back. She cocked a brow at the Grandmaster's words, but a slow smile played at her lips. "What about teamwork? Exercising basic Force skills in an unconventional manner?"

The blonde tsked, perhaps in jest. She looked to Jack and tilted her head in greeting. "It's good to see you again, Knight Wright. Are you here to watch the match as well?"

Classroom learning was all well and good, but something like this kept them on their toes.

As Connel Vanagor Connel Vanagor removed his jacket and made for the court, Cora quietly observed those who'd gathered on either side.

"Boys versus girls...and Caelan Valoren Caelan Valoren ."

Caelan and Fate entered the training area with the intention that morning of actually doing some training. But what the two of them found instead was essentially an arena of bustling activity. It seemed that people were dividing into teams to play a game. Looked pretty evenly matched, and he saw his friends Roman and Kuhbee on one team, and Vera and Azzie on the other. He wanted to play, but which team should he join? He had a feeling it might be a little fun to peg Roman with a ball since he was marrying Annie, so that basically settled it for him.

"You better watch on the sideline, Fate," Caelan said as he removed his outer robe. "I see Master Noble. Maybe you can go sit with her?"

"Bwoo-dweet-dweep!"

As Fate wandered over to where Valery Noble Valery Noble was sitting, intending on joining her, Caelan walked over to where Vera and Azzie and the rest of their team was.

"Mind if I join you?" he asked, looking amongst them. "Dodge ball, right?"

He'd never actually played before, but he knew how. Lots of kids had played it back on Lazerian IV, especially when they got together in the back alleys. Really he shouldn't have known that. His parents didn't like it when he wandered around the city, but he'd done it anyway, and that's how he'd learned of the game. It seemed fun, but he didn't want to get injured back then and have to explain it to his parents. Now he was going to get his chance to play, though. He was going to make the most of it.

Valery chuckled softly as she watched Connel Vanagor Connel Vanagor shed his jacket and step onto the court. His presence seemed to even the playing field a little, though the fiery competitiveness radiating from Vera and her team suggested they wouldn't let that stop them.

"Looks like it's just us again," she said with a grin, leaning back on her hands and stretching her legs out comfortably in the grass. Her fiery eyes lingered on the court for a moment before she turned to Jack, her expression softening.

"I was just about to ask how you've been settling into—" Valery began but stopped short as a familiar voice chimed in from her other side. Her head turned, and she found herself looking up at Cora, who stood there with a sly smile and a knowing look.

Valery squinted at her former student, a playful roll of her eyes following. "Oh, great, now I've got Cora here to keep me in check," she teased, her tone light and playful. "Of course, teamwork is important. But there's no harm in a little healthy competition, right? You work together to win, after all~"

As Cora greeted Jack, Valery took a sip from her water bottle, her amusement evident as she glanced between the two of them. Boys versus girls, and poor Caelan Valoren Caelan Valoren in the middle of it all.

Speaking of which, Valery turned her eyes as his droid — Fate — made its way over. She offered it a smile and a pat over the head, before turning back to the others with her.

"Master Ascania." Jack inclined his head right back, offering the recent Councillor due deference. Yet his smirk widened all the more; how quaint, two beautiful blondes in close vicinity, in one day!

Maybe, luckily, he'll make a better first impression this time.

Once more, giving respect in the form of a courteous nod. "
I had nothing better to do," Speaking of which, Jack lifted up the datapad, following the Master's gaze upon the teams readying themselves. A thrill of anticipation echoed in the Force, the game would soon commence, in just a short while.

Passing the curious droid a short glance as it greeted the Gradnmaster, Jack raised his handheld some more. Ready for the inspiration to strike when the match begins.

The whistle was blown

Azurine Varek Azurine Varek dashed forward. Aadihr feinted as if he was making for a ball, unconcerned for whether or not he could get to it in time. Connel Vanagor Connel Vanagor sped and seized one himself and already had it raised like a shield - using a ball to deflect another, a clever tactic.

The addition of another knight, Silas Westgard Silas Westgard , gave Aadihr confidence as well.

"Fool's gold and Aak dogs; can do,"

Aadihr did mean to exercise his connection to the force today; if he wore down he might do something similar.

The Miraluka jogged forward, keeping tight spatial awareness and reading intent to predict who would throw first, and at whom.

"Knight," Cora corrected gently as Jack addressed her. "We're of the same rank." Instead of meeting him with mild admonishment as she had previously, she appeared to be in an easier mood.

Again, she tutted to Valery. "Someone must keep you in line, Grandmaster."

Following Jack's eyeline, she examined the teams once more. They seemed to be fairly evenly distributed, and so she posed a question to her companions;

"Who do you think will win?"

Vera stood at the edge of the court, bouncing slightly on the balls of her feet as energy buzzed through her. She threw a glance toward her mom, who sat among the spectators, casually chatting with Jack and Cora. Vera grinned, her gaze locking onto Valery's for just a moment. She raised a hand, gave her mom a small, confident wave, and then immediately turned her focus back to the game.

Time to make her proud.

Lily's and Azzie's banter filled her ears, and Vera laughed, already enjoying the camaraderie of Team Gold. But when Azzie started laying out their strategy, Vera's playful smirk turned into something sharper. She could feel the competitive fire in her chest roaring to life.

"Solid plan," Vera said, rolling her shoulder and cracking her neck for good measure. "But I'll keep Roman busy. He's their heart, and I'd love nothing more than to knock it right out of his chest." Her grin turned wicked, and her multi-colored eyes flicked to the Silver Team's strategist, who stood just a little too calm and composed for her liking.

The whistle blew, and Vera was off like a shot, channeling the Force into her legs for speed. She darted forward, scooping up one of the balls and spinning on her heel with all the grace and precision of a dancer. She spotted Roman immediately — no surprise there — and her smirk widened.

"Hey, Roman!" she called, her voice dripping with mock sweetness.

With a flick of her wrist, she hurled the ball at him, Force-enhanced speed sending it whistling through the air. Whether it hit or not didn't matter; Vera wasn't planning on giving him a single moment of peace. If Roman was busy dodging, Team Silver wouldn't have time to organize.

She grabbed another ball, already preparing for her next throw. The strategy was clear: keep Roman tied up until Ran Serys Ran Serys arrived. Her team could handle the rest of the Silver Team, but Roman? He needed to be neutralized.

Valery chuckled softly at Jack's and Cora's back-and-forth, the banter bringing a warmth to the relaxed gathering. She shifted her weight slightly, propping herself up on her elbows as she stretched her legs further into the grass. The game was moments away from starting, and the excitement radiating off the court was palpable.

Her fiery eyes found Vera again, who was deep in conversation with Lily and Azurine, likely plotting their domination of Team Silver. Valery smiled and raised a hand, calling out with cheerful encouragement, "Good luck, sweetie!"

Vera froze briefly, turning slowly to glare back at her mom with the full force of teenage embarrassment. "Mom!" she groaned loudly, throwing her arms up in exasperation. But before she could throw another comment at her Mother, the game started, and she was forced to focus on Roman.

Valery just grinned, unbothered. She leaned back again, her gaze turning to Cora with an amused glint. "She loves me," she quipped, shaking her head.

At Cora's question, Valery tilted her head in thought, her expression turning mock-serious. "Well," she began, clearly setting up for some lighthearted favoritism, "I have to say Vera's team. It's not just because she's my daughter, but… actually, it's entirely because she's my daughter." She smirked, shooting Cora and Jack a playful look.

"Besides," Valery added with a sly grin, "The Gold Team's got some serious sass. That alone is enough to win, don't you think?" Her gaze shifted back to the court, watching as Vera...

Did a Vera.

Ryana has gotten connels message and brought buster and of course pip tagged along both where happy as a pair of mischievous peas in a pod. Buster had another squeaky toy this one in the shape of a dog bed that he carried in his mouth as he stayed right next to ryana as the trio made their way to the training area. Pip riding on her shoulder as was normal for the small racyon to do for longer walks as he didn't have to keep up with the twi'lek.

Entering the training area ryana was surprised by all the noise and the goings on as people where playing a game she wasn't familiar with. As buster saw connel ryana had to stop him from running onto the court as she levitated the aak dog into her arms as his little tail whent going a thousand miles an hour. As he woofed ryana chuckled "is that connel buster" she said as buster barked in response she could feel pips getting ansy as she looked around and saw cora. Ryana walked over to cora, valery, and a jedi she didn't recognize as she stood next to cora "congratulations on becoming a councilor cora i kind of lost you at the party" she said as pip basically jumped from ryanas shoulder onto coras "pip you little terror" she said as the little racyon stuck his tongue out at ryana.

She bowed to valery "grandmaster noble" she said the word master still left a bad taste in her mouth but she didn't let it show as she stood next to cora "what game are they playing if I may ask?" She inquired. Looking at the three jedi who she stood next to.

Roman watched as his team came together, a smug satisfaction blooming in his chest. Team Silver was indeed shaping up to be the superior force. Kuhbee, a silent mountain of muscle, positioned himself with a quiet intensity that spoke volumes. Roman knew that beneath the calm exterior lay a formidable Wookiee rage, waiting to be unleashed. Aadhir's constant glances towards Azurine on the opposing team was perfect - perhaps that infatuation would be enough to distract one of the Gold team's wild card. Connel and Braze, two well-trained Jedi, stood ready, their faces etched with focus. The only real threat, Roman conceded, was Lily. But even there, a glimmer of hope sparked. Silas seemed rather taken with his trash talk with her, which might just render her attention elsewhere. An easy win, Roman thought, a collection of nerds and Lily up the Gold team.

He idly waited for the starting signal, confident that strategic planning was a waste of time when raw talent was on display. He chuckled quietly as Valery's voice, laced with pride and a touch of concern, cut through the arena with a hearty shout of encouragement for her daughter. The younger Padawan's subsequent embarrassment was hilarious, Roman made sure the girl heard him laugh at her. He might have tossed a playful jab or two her way if the game hadn't suddenly started. Roman was caught slightly off guard by the whistle's sudden shrill, but he quickly summoned a ball to his hand. He cocked his arm, scanning the field for his first target when a familiar voice called his name. A playful grin touched his lips as Vera's voice rang out. Had she been less obvious with her intentions, perhaps she might have surprised him.

He protected himself with his own ball, sending her first attack she threw arcing into the stands, landing with a soft thud next to Vera's mother, Cora, and Jack. Roman's eyes widened a fraction. Okay, that one had some real power behind it. Another projectile whizzed past his ear, forcing him to duck. "Chit. These damn Noble children…" he muttered under his breath before he started to take her more seriously.

Roman quickly signaled to Kuhbee, his mind already formulating a revised strategy. He would use the Wookiee's massive frame as a shield. With Kuhbee providing a solid block and intercepting stray projectiles, Roman would be free to move, darting out from behind the Wookiee to launch precise strikes, especially towards one annoying Noble girl. He crouched behind Kuhbee, peeking out just enough to see Vera before launching a force-enhanced ball with a backspin on it, sending it rocketing towards her little face.

yBvU91T.jpeg

ipuGMYq.png

The shrill whistle sounded and so did the carnage. Balls and trash talk started flying though the air faster than the Millennium Falcon on the kessel run. Kuhbee gathered air into his lungs and let out a mighty battle call.

[RAWWWWWRRRRRRRR]

Roman was quick to signal the young pup and Kuhbee was only too happy to show his loyalty to his new friend. The tall furry frame became a shield, his paws working with haste to swipe incoming balls out of the way of his red haired bestie. As it turned out these balls were hard to catch with giant paws but Wookies had an honor code that prevented him from using his claws for anything but tree climbing. Instead the fresh young padawan would have to use the Force, but he was still very new in his training.

He tried to use the Force to lift a ball but it merely flipped over. He howled in agitation and his brown eyes traveled to see Connel. Remembering what the knight had taught him he imagined a hand lifting the ball and reached out with the Force. It worked! The ball went soaring into the air towards the other team.

[I did it!]

He spoke to nobody in particular. Most people would be so busy with the game they wouldn’t have time to listen to translators anyway. This was a good lesson for the cub to learn. In battle the situation might be similar. He would need to learn to communicate nonverbally when things were chaotic. So far this was turning into a valuable training exercise for the young padawan.

What Kuhbee still had to learn with the Force he more than made up for in physical athletic power. When a ball came flying through the air towards Roman the Wookie leapt into the air effortlessly, his paw knocking the ball down with such force it hit the ground and left a small indent before it bounced away.

[RAAAAAAAWWWWWRRRRR]

With a flick of her wrist, she hurled the ball at him, Force-enhanced speed sending it whistling through the air. Whether it hit or not didn't matter; Vera wasn't planning on giving him a single moment of peace. If Roman was busy dodging, Team Silver wouldn't have time to organize.

Vera's first ball thrown at Roman bounced off of the red-haired Padawan's and towards the stand - her intent was clear enough as the continuing balls of her barrage at Roman began. Roman used Kuhbee for cover and Kuhbee Kuhbee heroically... slapped a ball into the ground, the sphere turning black and buzzer indicating the first out of the game.

To go out that early - Aadihr felt bad for the Wookie who was so eager to play.

I'll need to catch a ball to get him back in the game, Aadihr thought. He could be a healer, even in dodgeball.

The Noble child's next ball sailed directly towards Roman, only to be seemingly also slapped away by Aadihr, out of the air and into the ground. With less accurate monitoring droids for referees, the blind knight should have also been out.

The ball was only seemingly slapped - the color detection had not turned black with contact and the buzzer was silent. Aadihr's Deflection repelled the ball just far enough from his hand to provide a cushion, successfully testing the means of bypassing his mental block for telekinesis by compensating with his more instinctual capacity deflection.

As more balls flew, he kept this technique up - guiding the Force into localized, frictionless shields close to his body - and intercepting incoming balls using hands, feet, elbows.

Aadihr began to smile, giddy that his training with his mental block has paid off. As he had once detached his Force-Sight from his body as an anchor, he had successfully 'detached' the 'shields' for deflection from his hands - though still limited in range, it was progress.

He could reliably Deflect a ball - the next step was to figure out how to catch one. The Miraluka stepped closer while covering for Roman Vossari Roman Vossari , addressing the Padawan, "If we can catch a ball, we can get Kuhbee back - but that might end in a tug-of-war through the Force"
A tug-of-war that Aadihr couldn't assist with his telekinetic limitations.

As the golden light of morning shined against her green skin, Ran surveyed the training hall before her. She was late and the ball game had already started. Gold team was looking strong and in great shape, while the opposition in Silver seemed just as fresh and formidable. Ran could feel that the force was with them. Its playful touch would prove an ally and bane in the battle of projectile warfare that was upon them.

Ran looked on familiarizing herself with the game’s instruments. A series of spheres made primarily of elastic polymers. It was no lightsaber, but she decided that in her hands it could be just as deadly. Not that anyone was to die today, despite all the padawans’ jests and threats to destroy each other via rubbery balls of death.

“Sorry. I’m late, padawans.” Ran came running into the training area that had been marked to be a makeshift dodgeball court, and as she did, Kuhbee Kuhbee 's launched ball whizzed by and almost hit Ran square in the face. Ran turned her head and gave the young Wookiee a death stare, which wasn’t too dissimilar from the normal resting scowl that often betrayed her contentment. “Excuse me! You almost took my head off, Kuhbee! Are you trying to hit me?” Ran asked evidently unfamiliar with the rules or even the objective of the game, and much to the surprise or chagrin of the others playing.

"So... what are the rules?"She continued excitedly and obliviously, obviously raring to go. So happy to reclaim a piece of the childhood she never had.

yBvU91T.jpeg

ipuGMYq.png

As soon as his paw made contact with the ball it buzzed and turned a violent shade of black. Kuhbee landed on the ground and for a second he looked shocked. He had been so motivated to keep the balls away from Roman he had forgotten that he wasn’t supposed to touch them.

Excuse me! You almost took my head off, Kuhbee! Are you trying to hit me?"

Kuhbee’s eyes widened and he looked guilty as the Knight scolded him. Did he misunderstand the rules completely? Had he messed up that badly? Ran was furious with him, as evident in her death stare.

To make matters worse a referee droid was buzzing over to Kuhbee and telling him he was out of the game. Kuhbee howled as the droid tried to tug his arm to lead him off the court. The Wookie roared and slung the droid around, slamming it onto the ground where it sparked upon impact. The young cub then stomped off the court to the sidelines. Once there he howled again and started kicking dirt and fallen branches, sending them flying.

It wasn’t fair! Roman needed him and as far as Kuhbee was concerned there was nothing more important than helping a friend. Plus he had gotten yelled at by Ran, even though all the other padawans were trying to hit people too! His Wookie anger was boiling over as the guilt he eas feeling consumed him. He felt guilty because he let Roman down and guilty because Ran was now mad at him and he didn’t know why. He roared loudly and started picking up branches and breaking them. When another referee droid came over to tell him he was being unsportsmanlike he roared at it and kicked it, sending it flying.

He was so stupid! He was lucky enough to be picked for a team and he had let them all down! He had even upset a Jedi Knight! Salty tears mixed into his fur as he continued to stomp the ground in anger.

It didn't take long for the balls to start flying. Azurine couldn’t keep the huge grin of joy off of her face as she took everything in, having to flip out of the way of a couple of potshots that she couldn’t quite tell who threw at the time.

It wasn't until she laughed and went to throw the ball in her hands that she noticed the very young Wookiee... in front of Roman? Had he been using a telekinetic barrier or some kind of deflection, she would have understood, but he had swatted it with his hands. She couldn't tell if he had misinterpreted how the game was played or not, but either way, the ball turned black.

Azzie didn't have time to celebrate the first out, Knight Ran Serys Ran Serys walking through the open field and the poor young Wookie having to be escorted to the sidelines. His aura was a mess, tugging at her spirit a bit. He clearly had no idea of the mistake he had made, and he was heartbroken over it.

Shit.

She quickly threw up a shield to make sure that she wouldn’t be painting a big old target on her back as she moved to approach Ran. Even now, she was happy to see her again after the trials on Illum, and she was definitely excited for her to be part of this. She just hoped the explanation she was about to give wouldn’t pass too much guilt about it, if any.

"So, you're actually supposed to try to hit the other team with a ball." Azzie started, making sure her expression showed that it was okay that the councilor hadn't known that to begin with. "You can't cross the center line into another team's space or use the force on another person, you're out if you get hit, and if you catch a ball thrown by the other team, then the person who threw it is out, and you can bring back another member of your team."

She moved to hand Ran the ball in her hands rather than throwing it herself as a show of camaraderie. "We can use Force techniques for things that can help with defense and dodging without getting hit, but it's limited to that for this—at least I'm pretty sure."

Though Azzie herself had helped to organize this event, some of the stipulations had been decided upon without her presence just to be certain of fairness.

She wanted to help the young Wookiee, Kuhbee Kuhbee , she thought Ran said his name was, afterward, given everything she saw shifting through his aura, but she also knew that the best thing she could do right now was let him cool off a little. Feel his emotions to the fullest in order to understand them and be able to let them go. She could at least give him some encouragement as she got back into the game.

"Amazing job, Kuhbee! You did so great; I would hate to be the Imp that ends up in your way someday!" Azzie shouted over to him with two thumbs up in the air and a genuine, fiery grin. She made a quick mental note to find him after the game.

Short image visions passed quickly in front of her eyes, and she quickly shifted to the side as a ball came straight for her. As it rounded, she focused her hands outward to force it to ricochet around her and back outward towards Connel Vanagor Connel Vanagor with a purely playful grin. The show must go on, as they say.

Silver or Gold, right?

Aris was still mulling over the thought as he stood on the sideline, glancing between both halves of the group. His sister was there, of course, already ragging into others with that fiery grin on her face. It was good to see, but, was he to be on her side? On the other side? What would be fair? Would any of it be fair if he was on one side versus the other? Not back home, with the Epicanthix, but here these were all Jedi so he wouldn't have to hold back right?

Then, he blinked. A ball had been thrown, went off track, and tapped him on the shoulder as he was so deep in his own thought. He hadn't even bothered to move from it like he was supposed to. A laugh ended up escaping him as he took that as a sign and promptly sat down on the side lines.

He was out before he even picked a team.

Jack was due to answer Corazona's query, until a new voice intercepted the conversation. The aim is to score against the opponent's side without them deflecting."

That didn't seem to be the end, when another Padawan walked into the fray, sitting down after the ball hit his shoulder. Jack laughed, grinning to Aris Noble Aris Noble and waved him over, to sit by himself and the women in invitation.

"

Connel moved and weaved around, almost in a dance of dodging and using his own ball as a “shield” letting it “bounce” incoming balls away. He was quiet and focused on the actions of Team Gold until Connel had seen something that he did not like. Roman was hiding behind Kuhbee… Roman was hiding behind Kuhbee? Roman was hiding behind Kuhbee!

Strategic? Maybe. Smart? If it was anyone else.

Kuhbee was just a kid!

Connel kept quiet until he heard Ran go off on the Wookiee for an errant throw. She did not know the rules yet, so while she was a little overzealous in her response, it was not unexpected. The “ref bot” pulling Kuhbee from the game was all Connel could stand.

Seeing a ball being thrown, it didn’t matter who it was from, from the other side, Connel reached out through the Force and pulled it into his chest. The red and white globe immediately careened off of his center mass and turned black indicating he was hit. He could hear Buster immediately start barking up a storm in anger defending his human.

Oh, Darn! The look on Connel’s face said it all as he walked off of the grounds towards the sidelines. He was not “eliminated” he eliminated himself, to check on Kuhbee. He had something to say to Roman though.

Nice teamwork you showed… I know Cora didn’t teach you that… Shaking his head in angry disapproval, he kept stepping. Roman could say all he wanted, that was his prerogative, but Connel spoke his piece.

G.I.-Joe-Snake-Eyes-Henry-Golding-Bosslogic.jpg
Kuhbee, you okay buddy?

The young one was stomping around throwing a tantrum. He was clearly hurt, thinking he messed up and while… what was her name? Oh yeah “Azurine”... was calling out to him trying to talk him up. Buster meanwhile had broken into a run from poor Ryana who had to deal with Pip who was being his normal “helion” self already and up to his side. Connel picked him up and was giving him scratches as he stood beside the Padawan.

The poor kid was all but berating himself for what happened. Blaming himself. You did nothing wrong, my friend. It’s just a game. You did nothing wrong. Buster was meanwhile giving him “kisses” on the chin and then looking and Kuhbee wanting to do the same.

You were put in an unfair position, and you handled it great! I promise. As soon as one of them catches a ball being thrown at them, you’ll be right back in.

"Amazing job, Kuhbee! You did so great; I would hate to be the Imp that ends up in your way someday!"

Kuhbee paused midway through breaking a branch as he heard his name called. Another young Knight who looked to be a Zabrak was encouraging him. He pause and waved uncertainly at her. She didn't seem mad at him at all and she was talking to Knight Ran too. Maybe she was telling Ran why he had thrown a ball at her? Hopefully Kuhbee wasn't going to be in trouble over the whole thing.

Just then Knight Connel came over to Kuhbee with a little dog. Kuhbee loved animals so much so he couldn't help but grin a little at the puppy. He sat the stick down, not wanting to scare the dog with his anger. He held out his paw to the dog slowly, wondering if the dog would sniff him and decide he could pet.

Kuhbee, you okay buddy?

[I think I upset Knight Ran and I touched a ball I wasn't suppose to.] He held up his paws to show how big they were. [The balls are hard to catch.]

Maybe Connel could show him how to catch the balls with the Force? He was the one who showed him how to throw things after all!

Connel listened to Kuhbee’s worries.

Trust me, Ran Serys Ran Serys is a good person, she just didn’t know the rules and is probably feeling terrible right now that she does. Don’t worry, she’ll make it up to you and you can make it up to her. Trying his best to be reassuring, pulling on training methods and speeches he had listened to from his father, as well as recordings of the past, Connel wanted Kuhbee to feel better about himself. This was not a big deal, it was just a game. If anything, he could worry about one of the three biggest nerds in the Jedi Order right now not taking any accountability for his inaction.

I taught you how to throw, I can teach you how to catch. Walking over to and grabbing one of the balls sitting on the sideline, Connel walked back and palmed it.

It’s all about grip with your palm and not your fingers. Especially you. He laughed. Those claws! With his free hand, Connel showed what he was doing with the other hand. Moving and repositioning his palm around as if it was holding an invisible ball right now.

Your hand is big enough to cover the whole thing. This part you pretty much already are okay with. Now, you remember how to throw through the Force, right? Connel asked this already knowing the answer. How about you learn how to catch it? To “Pull” it to you. Here. Buster was on the ground now, munching on a couple of treats Connel gave to him and otherwise watching happily. He remembered Kuhbee from the time spent at the Camaas Temple so he thought nothing of just being a good boy and chilling. Meanwhile Connel had handed the ball to the young Wookiee and then backed up a couple of steps.

Alright, toss it towards me. Once it was in the air, Connel would simply verbally explain what he was doing. Remember how I taught you how to throw? How I visualized a “hand”? Well when I learned how to pull it was the same principle… the hand reached out and “grabbed” the ball and no matter where it was headed… He smiled as the ball flew right into his hand with a “pop”. Right into my hand. Want to try? Or watch me do it again?
