Hyperion Ascendant - SJO Dom of Hex Y32

"You seeing this, Sir?"

The comm buzzed in his ear as Amari indeed caught sight of the pair of Patrolians on their way through the hall pushing a cart. He'd been in hospitals before, and typically if medical staff were in a hurry, they were in a hurry. These ones moved with pace, but not urgency. His eyes followed them as they made a turn down another hall, and after setting his magazine down, he got up to follow.

"I'll track the pair. Could be nothing, but better safe than something else. Everyone else keep your eyes open for more and be ready to move at the call."

Clicking a button on the small remote in his pocket that connected to the piece in his ear, it switched to a channel with the rest of the Rangers' security. "This is Captain Deechi, keep your eyes peeled. We may have a situation on hand here"

Another face decided to reveal themselves. Hyonu looked around trying to figure out when the group had grown so large. His face showed his surprise and he reached out only to rediscover his lack of tea. Internally, he felt his heart shatter once more and he entered the darkest place known to the Seoulian doctor. As he filled his mind with self – pity, he listened to the others discuss things. The Blond Jedi Man who makes jokes at the worst times mentioned checking for poison. It would be a good thing, but Hyonu figured that Josh was going to use the force.

Speaking of the Force, the Echani girl mentioned about handwaving and curing the Prime Minister. The Doctor was suddenly pulled out of his dark place and twitched hearing this. The force was powerful, but it felt short on several occasions. Science and Medicine would always be there even when the Force abandons. Hyonu avoided the Force as much as he could – it was fueled by emotion and belief two things that hindered a scientist’s mind. Emotions kept you attached and caused bias, which both were the cause of what was occurring now. He watched as his friend, Dr. Carson work – deep down he knew his dislike for the Karkarodons, but the Patrolian was a doctor – First, do no harm. No matter who the Patient is.

The Doctor remained quiet as he listened to Ciana take control and calm everyone down. Once again he wished he could hide his face behind a cup of tea, but alas he had none. Smiling softly, he appreciated having her here. She seemed to be the same of mind when it came down to it.

Nodding, Hyonu bid farewell to the Blonde Dragon man, then looked towards Kat. “Kat, uh go with Master Dragonsflame – would be a good learning opportunity for you and the Force.” That awkward smile spread across his face again, showing that he wasn’t to keen on the idea of using the Force in medicine. Looking at Rachel, he nodded. “I believe you, keep a close eye on Dr. Carson for me along with the surgical team. I don’t like how things are panning out.” Patting Rachel on the shoulder again he looked over and watched as Ciana spoke with the flustered and emotional Karkarodon. Raya Peak nodded and then shot another dirty look towards Ms. Corsair. Hyonu frowned and sighed softly. He was never one for bedside manner, but he would have to suck it up for now.

Raya looked towards Ciana and nodded, “I would like that, thank you. I’ll answer anything you need.” The Karkarodon followed Ciana into another room. Hyonu looked over at Ms. Corsair and leaned against one of the tables with his arms crossed. “While Dr. Teigra talks to Ms. Peak, can you tell me what has happened while you’ve been with the administration?” Ms Corsair nodded and then spoke.

“The Prime Minister has been wanting more and more exotic food as he’s gotten older. He watches all those fancy shows on the holonet, I indulge him because –“ She paused and then lowered her head further as if she was going to say something she shouldn’t. “He gets upset – when I tell him no…” Hyonu nodded and sighed softly, “This is a safe environment Ms. Corsair.” The Patrolian nodded and then fixed her shirt. “One evening he had some sort of red meat, it got him sick that evening. I called Dr. Carson since he has always been the Prime Minister’s doctor. He gave me some vitamins to give him, he seemed to perk up after that.”

A hand rubbed the Seoulian man’s chin as she nodded. “Thank you, do you have the bottle?” The assistant shook her head. “No, I do not.” Nodding, Hyonu wondered if there even was a labeled bottle. “Thank you, Ms. Corsair you are free to go back to what, you were doing.” The Patrolian bowed slightly and then left the room.

------
[member="Josh DragonsFlame"] / [member="Kat Decoria"]

The Prime minister would chuckle at the man calling himself old. “Ahhhh you’re a pup, don’t call yourself old too early boy.” The chuckle would turn into a cough as Michael would watch as the Jedi moved closer. It was obvious that the guard wasn’t too happy seeing a Jedi with him in the room. Still, he didn’t make a move or hinder the Jedi’s treatment.

As Josh did what he did with the poison, there would be nothing that jumped out at him. Nothing that read a typical poison. There was something more at play here since not everything poisonous could be considered a poison.

----------
[member="Amari Deechi"]

The pair would continue till they arrived at one of the stair cases. There they would slip into the staircase doorway and lock it behind them. The cart was unveiled to have several explosives rigged up. Each Patrolian began to poke around and start attaching the C4 like charges along the walls of the hallway. With them being in the stairwell, not many would notice. They continued to work with the door locked around them.

Finally, one of the charges were linked to the door’s locking mechanism. If forced open, the door would cause for the charges to be set off.

Objective 2: Security Detail; Hospital Ward
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Moments before the small earpiece in her ear crackled to life, Drystan had already begun moving.
"This is Captain Deechi, keep your eyes peeled. We may have a situation on hand here"
She shifted, avoiding a small group of orderlies as they pushed a cart into the hallway; narrowly scraping by, but light on her feet. She ignored them. The lights in the hallway were bright, illuminating her path as she walked; there was much hustle & bustle within this place, but that only gave the skilled Jedi Agent greater concealment.
Her blonde hair was curled into a bun atop her head, and she wore a pair of glasses over her hazel eyes; the glasses accentuated her beauty, giving her a bookworm appearance. She was wearing a pantsuit of soft auburn, providing a simple cover as either a visitor or administrator - in fact, such was the illusion she had crafted to any staff she passed. They would ignore her, simply recognizing her as someone able to go wherever she might without question. She was, in their minds, one of them.
To her fellow Jedi, however, she was an asset.
"Copy that, Captain. Marakos, on the move. I'm one floor above you, moving quickly; what have you got?"
Her command over the Force rose from deep within her, responding to her immediately as she drew its' comforting warmth around her... She stretched out with her senses, immediately connecting with her counterpart, [member="Amari Deechi"]. He would feel a flutter within his mind, as she assured him of her presence...
In reality, she had been on the move since she'd arrived, and was working alone... but ready to be called upon. She felt a disturbance of some kind; a growing sense of urgency and danger as something was at work, but she needed help determining exactly what.

The staff and the patients rolled together like a well-oiled machine, a constant back and forth like the waves of an ocean as it ebbed. In a situation, like this is was both easy and difficult to pick out any problems, at least any problems that didn't blatantly jump out like a man with a big sign saying 'I'm dangerous'. Tera let her eye flick over the crowd, passing over a mother and her child, an old man coughing into a handkerchief, a man walking past two kids playing in the corner. The woman blinked and glanced back, wait that man...there was something about him. Not something the green-haired agent could put her finger on, just a sensation that seemed to send an icicle running down her back, the hairs on the back of her neck standing on edge. Biting down on her lip Tera span on one foot, glancing down at her clipboard as if she was checking it, reaching back to scratch her back, loosening the blaster in its holster as she started following the man. She'd rather check it out and be jumping at shadows than miss anything.

Objective 2: Terror in the Medical Ward (Security Detail)

Cardinam chuckled. “Same job actually, just a different employer. Only thing that's changed is that I’m babysitting rich old farts instead of plucky Rebels.”

He copied her motion, studying her badge, eyes scanning the barcode off the face card. The information appeared in as a red vector overlay in his vision. [member="Liuna Ondizi"], now officially part of the Silvers. Not a bad job, if you were looking for steady work. Acting as galactic police, the Jedi were always getting into trouble with someone.

“Looks like you’re the one with the upgrade. Kudos.” He shifted his gaze from her badge to the steaming cup of caf in her hands. “I was actually on my way to the breakroom for a cup of joe. Want to sit down for a minute and catch up?”

A pair of Patrolians shuffled between them as he awaited an answer, Cardinam immediately feeling a tingle down his spine as he did. That was never a good sign - he had learned to interpret the sensation a warning from his dæmon lodged in his chest.

Making his best attempt to appear casual, the cyborg just barely swiveled his head toward the Patrolians now, just enough to put them dead center in the scope of his leftmost eye.

Nothing immediately stuck out, the fish heads dressed like other hospital staff pushing their little cart, but a few moments later, he picked up on a faint chemical trail from them both. Even this normally wouldn’t be a cause for alarm in a hospital or lab setting, but it was the composition that set off the warning bells. The chemical trail was chock full of residue from specific nitro compounds more commonly found in bombs than in medication.

Those two literally stank of high explosives.

He turned his sights back on Liuna, who also seemed to pick up on something being off about the pair. He came close to her then turned into her so that only she could see his mouth.

“Commlink” he requested with an outstretched hand. “I’m going to plug you into my private network. I think those two are packing something nasty, and that the whole security network is compromised.”

It looked like poodoo was about to hit the fan. The only way the system could be brought down was from within, and that looked like that was exactly what had happened, perps walking around in hospital gear.

He still held out his hand but turned back to keep an eye on the Patrolians as they moved down the hall. As soon as he fixed her comms, they would be off to get real acquainted with their new friends.

The Patrolians would walk past the man that Tera decided was suspicious enough to follow. They snickered as they walked passed her in their lab coats and trolly. Moving around the corner they found one of the abandoned hospital rooms and waddled to the door. Locking it behind them they began to plant their explosives. Just like the previous two groups, they tied the door lock to the explosives. If anyone tried to open the door without the proper code, the explosives would go off.

They continued to work while Tera watched the man.

The man would continue to walk heading towards one of the patient rooms. In his hand would be a large bag that could be explosives as well. Opening the hospital room door, he entered and inside was a small girl hooked up to several respiratory machines and heart monitors. The man began to pull out stuffed animals and place them around her. Looking up, he made eye contact with her and tilted his head. He figured she was one of the staff and he returned to setting up his daughter’s stuffed animals.

[member="Drystan Marakos"] / [member="Amari Deechi"]

As the little orderlies finished their work in the stairwell. One put in the code to arm the bombs. One moved upward to lock the stairwell keeping whoever would come down from coming down and finding the bombs and they began to climb down the stairs to the floor below them. They unlocked the door then locked it behind them – once again protecting their bombs. Each lock protected like the first tied to the bombs set to explode.

Snickering they continued about their duties. They would return to the floor which Amari and Drystan were located. They needed to keep an eye on these new comers, still snickering about how they had planted the bombs right under their noses.

[member="Liuna Ondizi"] / [member="Cardinam"]

The pair of Patrolians were unaware of the armored man picking up on their explosives. They chattered away in a native language chuckling at what their plans were. They figured no one would understand them as they spoke quickly. The language sounded like gurgling with a bubble pop here and there. They continued to talk until one looked over his shoulder and looked around.

The other paused as well and they looked around and then continued their way around the corner. Closing in on the fourth target for the bomb set up. Looking around they continued down heading to the dark supply hallway.

[member="Josh DragonsFlame"] / [member="Kat Decoria"] (if you go hang with Josh)

The two made their way closer to the Prime Minister and Michael head of security. They had nothing with them and were registered as head nurse and head of the surgical residents. The two Patrolians brought only the charts and handed them to Michael.

The Karkarodon didn’t interrupt the poison search that Josh was doing with the Prime minister. Instead he signed the paperwork and the three waited. It was almost time for surgery.

Objective: Opposition - Defeat the Jedi Warmongers

e7uIhAS.jpg

Captain Zacquis, Hegmony Battlegroup Commander

Without any fuss, Zacquis was able to reposition his ships planetside over the moons of Antar 4 and 5. Now they were almost untouchable by the Jedi, whom he knew would never risk hitting the surrounding population centers with their capital weapons. For now, his forces were secure.

"All Kobold flotillas, spread out to create a defensive perimeter around our capital ships to screen against fighters, but keep under the clouds. We rise any higher, then the enemy can pick us off. Carriers, deploy interceptors and snub fighters, attack Pattern Theta Zero"

Soon, a combination of Fencer and Talon drones began streaming out of the Centurions and Sazabi , immediately spreading far away from their mother ships. They moved with no discernable formation or much order, for that matter appearing like one giant angry swarm, but in fact, the drone fighters were moving in unison as one giant network, communicating with other to achieve optimal positioning against the ensuing threat of the Jedi forces. Through their tactical datalinks , all fighters and Kobolds were in sync with their motherships and air defense network groundside for a complete system of coverage. Many of the Hegemony's refurbished capital ships may have been outdated, but their fleet of modern export fighters and attack craft surely wasn't. The Jedi were almost certain to have a difficult fight on their hands planetside.

"Sir, it appears there's been contact on the Dead Moon. Kelah's forces may already be compromised."

Now on his command chair, Zacquis merely handwaved. "We can't win them all. Order the Zeniac to begin withdrawing immediately and exit the system. What's the status on our reinforcements."

"The third fleet is still mobilizing. It may take them at least another hour."

Another handwave, though the Captain would frown this time. His idiot of an Admiral was probably too busy gorging himself than to be of any use. He knew it was junior officers under Ridley that were doing the real work getting everything together. This was the problem with nepotism, sycophants getting prime positions over those who those who were actually qualified to take command.

"Tell those buffons we that we don't have an hour. Just send what they have and tell them to deploy within the sector. I'll take over from there. Now, all ships, load mass drivers with flechette cartridges. We're going to cut down those fighter swarms before they even get to the surface."

Regular flak guns were bad enough, but now he was ordering his people to use capital guns in a similar round which would create walls of speeding walls of projectiles and shapnel blazing forward at hypervelocities. He was going to make sure it was a nightmare for the Silver fighters coming down to meet his forces, and that was only the beginning.

Liuna gave Cardinam a nod, it sounded like his gig wasn’t all that bad either. There were far worse jobs in the galaxy. At least he’d found something that put his skills to good use, just like she had. True, there were parts about running around as a rebel that she missed, but the feeling of security she had here was valuable. Even if the Mirialan disliked being by the book and playing by the rules, sacrifices had been made.

Just as she was about to answer about taking a break, Cardinam seemed to pick up on the… fishy Patrolians that had just shuffled past. Sure, she would have liked to have a nice chat in the break room, but duty called. A small rush of adrenaline, it was enough to make Liuna straighten up slightly.

“Uh, sure,” She handed her commlink over, trying to be discreet about the motion. Leaning to the side slightly, she aimed a glance around her companion’s shoulder. The two Patrolians were proceeding down the hall; their steps hit the tiled floor with more urgency.

Stepping back out into the hallway, she nodded to Cardinam.

“The caf isn’t that good, trust me.” Liuna’s brows arched. “I was just about to talk a walk anyway, want to join me?”

She kept her own steps even, brisk but unrushed. After all, she didn’t want to alert the Patrolians to anything. The Shadow agent kept her tone light-hearted, “So, you’ve been well, I take it? Seems like you’re doing alright to me.”

The idle chit-chat might have been a ruse, but she actually was interested in catching up with her friend.

Objective 1
Location: Antar system
Allies: [member="Allyson Locke"] [member="Gir Quee"] [member="Errreembuhr"] [member="John Locke"] [member="Tharr Hei"] [member="Yuroic Xeraic"]
Enemies: [member="Lucent Echo"]

"Microjump to the Dead Moon, now!" Varindar ordered before the enemy could even fire the volley of mass drivers loaded with chaff.

What was for sure was that not even ERA could save their craft from the incoming volley of chaff; Varindar had to do something before that volley could threaten her craft. And we may as well take a few of the surface-to-orbit cannons, but these emplacements will have flak nearby pretty mich without fail, she thought, before the craft briefly jumped to hyperspace, towards the Dead Moon. As imprecise it may have been under ECM, the end result was that the formations were very wide upon reversion inside the Dead Moon's gravity well, much wider than even with those massive, one-ton proton bombs being loaded. Which meant that they had to be quick in dropping those plasma bomblets onto the surface emplacements, in hopes that it would, in fact, help the other fleet elements. She had to patch through the coordinates of the surface emplacement whose destruction would cause a chain reaction that could take out a good chunk of the ground forces arrayed near it, including but not limited to, smaller mass driver turrets and its respective reactor assemblies. Which could cause a few complications to the defenders, and also splash over to the theater shield.

"Concentrate all your ordnance onto the flagged emplacement!"

"Hotelier, behind you!"

Once Varindar dropped her bomblet, she performed a barrel roll in an attempt to get behind the pursuer, with several near-misses and one that actually drained her particle shields dry. Without particle shields, she kept flying in this soup, with her wingmen successively dropping plasma bombs onto the massive platform, but here it was about Varindar shooting at a Talon that was the lead in a three-craft wedge element. And then, with heavy repeaters hitting the Talon, it wasn't quite down, but it was losing control; it ended up crashing onto the V-165 emplacement in an attempt to shake Varindar off its tail, in turn. And [member="Gir Quee"] would likely find her sight above the Dead Moon a rather welcome one; with each bomblet hitting the joint between the main assembly and the barrel, the turbolaser's main reactor grew increasingly unstable. When the eighth bomblet impacted, however, time was short and they had a few seconds to get out of range from the doomed turbolaser emplacement, lest they get shrapnel from it, and that could cause a breach through which she hoped Jessica would exploit to attack or, if it was the only such emplacement on the Dead Moon, make things much easier for her allies in the system.

Amari had lost the orderlies for only a moment before he realized the stairwell would be the obvious choice. He unfortunately arrived too late to get into the hall, however, finding the door locked as he caught sight of the Patrolians making their way upstairs. If [member="Drystan Marakos"] was fast enough she could reach it, based on her response to his message earlier.

"Captain Deechi to security reporting a potential threat," he said again into his communications unit, recognizing just how out of place a locked stairwell was in a hospital. Especially one with a VIP in operation. After pushing it just a bit, and finding the lock unyielding, he backed away, all care for his cover gone as this clearly was a serious threat. "The stairwell entry on my floor has been locked without order. Recommending extreme vigilance and interference."

Before he could say more he caught sight of the same orderlies he'd spotted earlier coming back down the stairs, and he hurried aside, ducking just out of sight. Whatever they were saying was in a foreign language, and even if he'd known their tongue, the walls were thick enough to dull it out beyond recognition even for technology.

Errreembuhr had received his orders from [member="John Locke"] and would follow them. Before anything he deployed the fighter complement of three pocket carriers to join the fray below, using their speed and microjumps to get out ahead and support the rest of the strike force.

As he ordered his fleet to move on the dead moon, chatter and reports from the starfighter squadrons led by [member="Varindar Asyt"] and [member="Gir Quee"] began flowing in at one of the communications terminals. It appeared they were having success striking at the heavy anti-orbital turbolasers that would have been a major threat to his ships. Their success must have been felt dangerous enough to the defenders as from his position he could see their lead ship on the dead moon beginning to flee.

Just as he caught that sight, however, [member="Allyson Locke"] came in over a communications channel offering the support of her cruisers. It was quite the serendipitous offer, and he was quick to respond.

"We could definitely use the support, Commander Locke. Their star destroyer is moving away from the Dead Moon, if you could take it out that would certainly help with our chances here. I'll send two of my heavy cruisers and three assault frigates to support you. Your ships are faster than them both, but I'd rather we be safe than take too much risk."

With that order given he prepared for his end of things in the battle.

"They can handle that Star Destroyer, let's see what we can do about this shield. Open fire with the solar ionization cannons and our Angons, solid slug rounds."

It wasn't much longer before the roar of hypervelocity cannons blasting away, their armor-piercing rounds launching planetside with extreme velocity, hopefully enough to force the shield to overload. If not, he had confidence that the highly ionized beams would do the trick, as unlike typical turbolasers, they were designed to punch through shielding. Only time would tell.

Objective 2

"Prime Minister sir, you flatter me" Josh spoke politely with a chuckle as he would begin to do the poison searches using the Force. "I am a man of physical youth, sure... But the things I have seen, and done and gone through... I feel like I've aged fifty years or more than I look. Not something I would wish on anyone, to be honest with you" He would admit while he worked. "Sometimes I wonder if I've seen a bit too much for one lifetime. But then again, I have a young lad at home... I haven't had a chance to see him grow up just yet. So I guess I'm sticking around a little longer" He joked.

Nothing. No poisons. The Jedi frowned at that. It was a strong hypothesis... But he found nothing. What he did see was the way that the head of security frowned when he saw him, the way he looked at him... And by what he could sense of his emotions. It was very clear that Josh was an unwanted presence in the room. Yet all he was here doing was providing protection and checking for potential poisons, maybe something that could be cured. Why exactly would he be unwanted? Even the head of security couldn't be incompetent enough to not want to take every precaution for something this important...

Between him and the others, something was wrong.

"I have found no poisons" Josh would announce. Not that there wasn't something there... It was possible it was just something that he had not been trained to detect in the body. If it were his own body, perhaps he would be able to. But this was someone else's body, not his. If it were something outside the realm of poisons, then he would not be able to find it. "But... I'll come clean with you, Prime Minister. During my searches of life signs, a group of them disappeared not far from here... Nowhere near any exits. I began to suspect that a group here had been killed... And then soon after, one of my teammates claimed that something spoke to her and told her that a group of staff had been killed and replaced. I don't want to rule that out as merely a coincidence, I-"

More would arrive, and the Jedi would take a deep breath before stopping them.

"I have a boon to ask, Prime Minister. Everyone in this room, and whoever may arrive prior to your surgery... I wish to subject them to a quick round of using my Jedi abilities to search their minds. It will not take long per person, so as not to delay your surgery far, but I will be searching their minds completely for any ill intent. As a Jedi Master, and the to-be Master Of The Order, I have that capability... I even have the ability to read memories completely, if I wanted to.

The point is... If any here have any ill intentions... I will find them. And they will not go near you until I have confirmed they do not have any."

He would smile then. "Of course, if they have nothing to hide, then we can continue on as scheduled once that's done, and with confidence that Your Lordship will come out of this the healthiest of men."

Josh was bluffing, of course. While he had experience in working with memories, yes, and could read minds to a limited extent, he was completely exaggerating just how much he could do at the moment. He had not as of this moment learned to completely immobilize and read minds, though he knew it was possible. But it was such a strenuous thing on both the user and the victim that he had not made it a priority.

Instead, he intended to rely on the basic reactions and emotions. Many stories were told of the most powerful of Jedi Masters and what they could do, and his reputation had made his capabilities be overexaggerated before. If they truly believed that he could pull it off, and pull it off with ease and speed... They would either refuse outright and out themselves, or their emotions would betray their intentions. Either way, Josh would find out.

Objective 2: Terror in the Medical Ward

The room seemed a little calmer now as she exited with Peak. During their interview, she revealed how the Prime Minister had been demanding more and more exotic foods after binge-watching cooking programs. She wondered if that included Beskar Chef, a wildly popular cooking contest in Kiribian space.

Unsurprisingly, eating such alien foods hadn't sat well in Wen's stomach, leading Doctor Carson to prescribe some kind of supplement.

Her eyes narrowed ever so slightly, the pieces starting to fall together. Carson had failed to note anywhere that he had been giving Wen any sort of medication during their initial discussion but labeled as "vitamins", he could sneakily claim he technically wasn't. Then it was clear he harbored some sort of prejudice against Karkarodons.

Something fishy was definitely going on.

"Could you please ask Doctor Carson for a minute? I have some questions about these vitamins you just mentioned."

Hyonu pondered as he watched everything unfold in front of him. There were so many variables that didn’t make sense to him and it spelled out only danger for the patient. Sighing heavily, he looked towards the small caf machine and wandered over to it. A press of the button and hot water shot out in the small mug. He watched it as he tried to search through his own gut feeling as to what to do next. He was uncertain about the surgery now, not on his end but Dr. Carson’s. It was obvious the doctor had no heart in this. His lips pressed together as he continued to contemplate the situation.

It was at that moment Raya had entered the room, she wandered over to Dr. Carson and spoke quietly to the man. A couple of nods and the Patrolian come over to Hyonu. “Dr. Ye, seems your colleague wishes to speak with me, care to accompany me?” Hyonu nodded, wondering why suddenly Carson didn’t want to be left alone, but it would be with Ciana and Hyonu didn’t want to be left alone with her either. “I’ll catch up” Carson nodded and waddled his way towards the other room where Ciana was waiting. He stared at the machine and tried to figure out what Ciana would drink, he had been a little off-putting when she arrived when he knew he needed her help. Deciding he’d bring her both caf and tea, he wandered in carrying the three cups: His, and two options for Dr Teigra. The Patrolian waited by the door and they entered. Hyonu walked carefully and set down the drinks and pointed to them after getting Ciana’s attention. “For you, you look thirsty.” Turning to face the other doctor, Hyonu sipped his tea and did his best to keep pleasant.

“Dr. Carson, were you aware of Prime Minister Wen’s new exotic diet?” The doctor stiffened and nodded. “I did. What of it? He decided to watch some holoshows about food and all of a sudden he wants something from Kamino on his plate that night.” Hyonu nodded and sipped his drink, with a galaxy so large like this there was access to just about everything. The man wondered if whatever he was eating was causing the issues. He had asked a question and it was time for the woman that summoned the Patrolian to the room to ask hers.

As Josh spoke, the Patrolians and the Karkarodons listened and tilted their head trying to wrap their minds around what he was saying. His speech was odd and they had never heard of such language such as this. The Prime Minister laughed with a hearty chuckle and finished with a heavy cough. “Ahhh you are a funny man, human.” Michael, the Karkarodon in charge of security also laughed and the Patrolians with them followed in suit. “Those around me are my most trusted, there is no need to search their mind with your magic.”

The Patrolians still wandered up and gave Josh their credentials which checked out and Michael moved towards the Prime Minister. “They’ve come to move the Minister to pre-op. He has to be cleaned up and put to sleep for Dr. Ye, Dr. Teigra and Dr. Carson to operate.” The Karkarodon wanted to ask the Jedi if he was done playing his games, but he decided to remain polite. The Patrolians moved about the Prime Minister, once he was settled, they began to wheel him out. Michael blocked the door keeping Kat and Josh in the room. Once the Prime Minister was on the elevator, the large Karkarodon turned and faced the two Jedi. “What was that? Is this what the Silver Order sends us? A magician who likes to crack jokes?” Frustration was written on the man’s shark face as he shook his head. “Remind me, who oversees you Jedi? I have a few questions for qualifications and why they sent you to us.” Michael remained in the door way as he put a hand to his ear (?). He was patched into the security line that Amari was speaking over.

“Captain Deechi, can you describe what is going on? What do you mean the stairwell entry was locked without order?” Michael frowned. “I’ll send one of my teams to you.” The line went dead to Amari as Michael opened another line to another team. “Team Bravo, Captain Deechi of the Silver Order is saying that there’s been a possible threat. Please head to him and make contact.” An echo of rogers came over the line and they moved quickly.

A group of Karkarodons would meet with Amari, passing over the Patrolians that he was watching. Their large bodies shielding the two Patrolians as they rounded the corner out of Amari’s view. “Captain Deechi, Bravo Team at your service!”

The pair that were being followed and watched heavily. Stopped and pulled out their devices, they looked down at them and a small holomap of the hospital came into view. Red dots lit up showing where the bombs had been placed. They continued to speak in their native languages and then the holomap disappeared. They began to walk again as a beep sounded around them, which could have been anything…

A message, a summon, bombs being armed, anything of the sort.

As the Prime Minister was being brought down to the surgical halls from the VIP floor, The Patrolians put him to sleep with a serum. The man was asleep by the time they arrived and brought him into the Operation room. An alert would beep announcing to the doctors that the patient was being prepped for surgery.

As much as Rachel distrusted all of the people present now and as much as the voices screamed, she should have known she would not be listened too. She knew she was right but she couldn't figure out how to tell everyone else. So she waited bidding her time until she could prove it to all of them. She decided to remain with her master for the time being.

She was so busy with all the voices in her head from the spirits. They wanted her to get revenge however she knew that it would not be that simple. She did however listen in on the doctors conversations. Meat from Kamino of all places was very out there. She sat listening showing signs she was still distrustful of the team on the operation and the doctor himself. However no one would believe her and like hell was she letting anyone into her head.

Last time she had that person had scared her for life. That was her eldest brother. She wasn't about to repeat that experience again. Not even with her master. Besides he needed his mind in the present not rooting around her broken fractured wasteland of a mind.

Objective 2: Terror in the Medical Ward
Location: Surgical Room

A beep had echoed on Hyonu’s pager along with Ciana’s. The pair was being summoned down to surgery. Hyonu knew what he needed to do. With the bloodwork being done, he needed to extract some of the hardened tissue from the Prime Minister’s body. The procedure would buy them some time and allow them to find out what is causing the cells to do something like this. The patient was prepped and Hyonu washed his hands in the sanitation station before heading into surgery.

“Keep an eye on things while I operate, I need a second pair of eyes – I don’t trust any of them.” He spoke quietly to the woman beside him and then headed into the surgical room.

Everything seemed to be going well, Hyonu opened the prime minister and began cutting away at the tissue that seemed to be balled up in an odd place around the stomach. A raised eyebrow as he continued to peel and cut away, very slowly the surgical team began to disappear. Hyonu noticed this and glanced towards Ciana as well.

It came to a point where only the two of them and a couple of the staff remained in the room. It was then that Hyonu pulled away the last bit of tissue to discover a bomb had been nestled into the Prime Minister’s body. He wasn’t being slowly poisoned by consumption, he was being poisoned by the foreign object in his body.

“C-C-Ciana!” Before the woman could move, the head doctor and the body guard stepped in with blasters aimed at both doctors. “Any sudden movements, the whole hospital explodes – if you try and disarm the bomb inside the Prime Minister it goes off and we all die. So, I suggest you listen to what is going to happen so you can live and we can go about our day.” Michael the bodyguard nodded as h spoke and kept his blaster pointed on Ciana. “Sound good?”
