It was time

They would be ushering guests to their seats, as they took plates of food. Not to worry there will be more, glasses of emerald wine flowed freely among the aristocracy. Faith looked at her sister Alyesa.

"You and Mom going to be in your seats" She smoothed the dress as a hand maiden came to help with the veil, the antique lace covered her head, her brown eyes connected with Alyesa. "I'll let you borrow the veil, but Claire has to get you your own dress." She exhaled hard.

"After everything we've all been through this one day, just today I'd like perfect. I wish Garith, Bella, and Theo were here." Part of her felt a twinge of guilt she thought of Dar'yaim and Bud. For the briefest of moments she hesitated. She would always love them it would never go away.

But she could not spend a life alone, and she had waited.

She tried to smile and knew that Draco was waiting.

Ana and Claire were standing outside her doors waiting to fluff her dress and make everything perfect.

"Walk with me a little Alyesa, please"

The two arm in arm slowly began the journey.

Marcello did not share Rianna's optimistic appraisal of the situation, but it was not really his place to question the decisions of her people. He simply hoped that they were not, effectively, left out in the cold when it tactically suited the Mandalorians. They did not exactly have a stellar track record of looking out for anyone other than number one. The Naboo native doubted that any amount of...romantic relationships could alter that fact. For now it seemed as though Alderaan culture existed in relative harmony with Mandalorian culture. For now.

Managing a smile despite his personal thoughts, Marcello nodded slightly. "I thank you for that, Rianna." Marcello didn't say that he would absolutely not be requesting the assistance of the Mandalorians anytime soon. His concerns were warranted out of personal experience. Times always did change, however. In the end, he would do what was best for his people regardless of personal interpretations. "And it was, as always, my pleasure to be of assistance."

The sounds of people drawing towards their seats for the ceremony pulled at Marcello's attention. "I think we should probably find our seats. It was great to catch up, Rianna. Congratulations again to your family." A warm smile lingered on Marcello's lips before he stepped away. The moment he had broken from Rianna's side, the Captain was in his shadow once more, ever-watchful of his new Sovereign's safety. In a matter of moments, the large Naboo native had taken his seat.

The officiant came over to where Draco was standing and tugged his arm, "We are ready to start sir." He said politely. It was Draco's cue to get into position. He wondered who would be walking Faith down the aisle as her Father wasn't someone he had ever met. He knew the story there, and didn't expect him to show up anytime soon for a family reunion. Many of Faith's family was scattered to the four winds, and Draco felt bad about that fact, he also felt some guilt that he had no family here to see him start the new chapter in his life.

"Alright, hang on let me get in place then." Draco said with a smile. "See you around." He muttered to the former Supreme Commander going and following the instructions of the wedding planner, going and standing where he was supposed to while guests were ushered to their seats by the people of House Organa. Draco was a little nervous and a little uneasy. He didn't sense anything out of place, he was just a little anxious to see Faith today. She had made him go without seeing her for the past week to maintain the tradition of not seeing the bride before the wedding, and now he was wondering what she would look like for the wedding, what she would be wearing, and how excited she would be.

He stood waiting with the rest of the Groom's Men, mostly just Vilaz and Captain Lindsey, the captain of Faith's guards, and one of their friends. At least Draco considered them friends, he wouldn't trust the man otherwise. Certainly not to protect his family and his family's secrets. "Any minute now guys."

[member="Faith Organa"] [member="Alyesa Organa"] [member="Vilaz Munin"] @Willam Forlorn [member="Marcello Matteo"]

It seemed that the wedding ceremony was now about to begin since the groom was in a statue position, looking out in front as he waited for his bride. Well, that meant that Vilaz had to be in position as well. He stood next to Draco, a step lower than the one Draco stood on, and another man which Vilaz was unfamiliar with stood right next to the Munin. Was he one of the groomsmen? Possibly, but all that the Mandalorian focused on was doing his part in this wedding which was being the best man. So far, he didn't have to do anything grand except hold the rings of marriage that would symbolize Faith and Draco bound to one another for all eternity.

As they waited the Munin said to the Vereen in a whisper, "Is someone supposed to give me the rings or something?" He was a bit worried as he didn't want to screw up the big day that awaited for the two couple since the day they met. Did he went over what the wedding instructor had told him to do? Unfortunately, no because the wedding planner didn't went over what the Alor had to do. However, he knew or thought that Draco had an answer to his question since this was his wedding and knew all the steps and phases of the ceremony like the back of his hand.

"Oh, sithspit. I forgot to hand it to you. Here." Draco whispered in return, fumbling in his inner coat pocket to pull out a little felt box containing the ring. "Take care of it, I worked hard to make it." Draco said with a wink pulling out the little piece of jewelry, and trying to sneak it into Vilaz's hands without being noticed. The little item had a slight pull of the Force, neither light nor dark, just a subtle tug from it. Its form was gold, set with aur diamonds around the mounting for the Rainbow Gem. It was not a masterpiece of Force craftsmanship, but of jewelcrafting and skill, it held its own. If there was a collector they would be envious, but Sith and Jedi artifact hunters would categorize as unimportant.

"Just, give it to me when they ask for the rings." His ring was simple gold, nothing special. It was just a slight remake of his engagement ring he had made. It's pair would help him find Faith when they were apart, help him sense her mood, feel her concerns, her emotions. In turn, it helped her sense his emotions when they were very strong, a very rare trait. He enjoyed being able to hold something close and feel her from half a galaxy away, know that she was alright, that she was safe.

Draco could hear people moving and shuffling to their seats and places while he stood waiting for the bride to appear.

There had been so many things in her life in which she had done.

But this was something she wasn’t expecting to do that would make her nervous – and it wasn’t even her wedding. She’d walk with Faith for a bit, saying nothing as she stared at the various people and then back to Faith. This was a big step for her sister, hell, it was a big step for her. How could she manage such a thing? Alyesa sighed softly and kept her thoughts as well as her comments to herself. It wasn’t about the man she was marrying, she could care a less if she was marrying a commoner – no, it was just the step forward in life.

Sure, other events had transpired in the lives of Faith and Draco that were far larger than this, but this wasn’t something so easily broken.

Alyesa finally spoke up, blurting out suddenly. “I’m proud of you and I just want you to be happy.” She stopped briefly to face Faith. “Just know I can’t fix the mistakes I’ve made or the fact I’ve never been there because of whatever reason – but I promise that will change.” She felt tears welling up at the corners of her eyes as she tried to hold her composure infront of Faith, knowing full well she might cause the other to break down in a similar manner. “I love you so, so much and I’m so sorry. I am glad you found the one man in life who can make you happy and I hope he doesn't make that same mistake.”

Faith looked at Alyesa she was so emotional! Faith turned and hugged her hard and just let this be the moment between them if anyone saw let them. There were none here that would turn this into something to their advantage.

"You have no idea how happy I am you are here Alyesa." Faith rested her chin on Alyesa's shoulder, "he makes me happy. He's tender and yet protective, he wants only the best of things, and he wants to do the right thing for everyone."

She stepped back, "You aren't mad at me for....well...I know you met him first, and that you may have liked him. I just couldn't resist kissing him" He had the bad boy image that well good girls are supposed to stay away from, Faith of course decided to jump in both feet.

Draco was waiting even now, would he think she had run off?

And guests

"Thanks," the Munin said to his friends as he took the rings discretely from the hands of his friend. The rings were stuffed in inner pockets of his coat. Now Vilaz was truly ready to be the best man of this honor. It was plain and simple. Just stand there and look nice to the wedding guests and do nothing until the rings of marriage were asked from the officiant. That was all he had to do. Just wait for the words that regarded to these beautiful pieces of jewelry were brought up to both the groom and the bride.

If there was one easy job that the Alor of Clan Munin had ever done in his life, it was being the best man and the ring bearer in this special and important ceremony that only happened once in a lifetime for two soulmatea.

"Is she coming," the Mandalorian said to his brother-in-arms in regards to of Faith. It had been some time since everyone took their seats and positions, and anticipated the walk of the bride down the aisle.

[member="Faith Organa"] [member="Alyesa Organa"] [member="Draco Vereen"]

"Yes she's coming, they have to wait for everyone to take their positions and get settled." Obviously Vilaz hadn't been to many weddings, but it was normally quite the waiting game in regards to the ceremony itself. The reception was normally much more informal, with groups of people mingling and giving their best wishes to the newly weds. And there was cake at the reception. Everyone always looked forward to wedding cakes from what he remembered as a poor kid from Eriadu.

Standing up at the altar, Draco looked out at all the faces in the crowd and for the second time in years he regretted having never went back to his family, having never checked in on them or calling them before the First Order destroyed Eriadu. There was no kin, no blood relatives to the groom in the crowd of faces, and he was far from his birth place. When they had died, he had been in the furthest depths of his depravity, still calling himself Darth Vulkan, and he had shrugged off their loss until months later. And even then, it hadn't really felt real or important until now. Nothing had changed until he was in a place where he would have reached out to them and could not.

Draco straightened his check and turned his attention on to the task at hand. Not screwing up his vows and such while he was standing up in front of people. Though his were easy, probably much more simplistic and traditional that Faith's would be.

She hugged Alyesa again, "You should go with with mother and the family"

This part Faith had always planned to walk alone. This commitment between she and Draco was between them, it was that she gave herself to him. She would walk alone to signify that this was her choice, that this was her path.

When Alyesa had finally agreed and left to sit with Arianna, it was then that Faith appeared at the entrance, the golden glow of the candles highlighting the shimmers in her dress, the antique veil trailed after her, the small bouquet of flowers, all varieties of Alderaan she held tightly. This was a shining moment for her, she did not look at the faces of those sitting, she could only look ahead and see Draco standing there.

She smiled taking a deep breath she began the walk towards him, each step a part of the journey that had brought them to now.

Today

When she stopped she stood before him, and the official took his spot.

The Ceremony began with the words of tradition, words that would bind them under Alderaan Law for the rest of their lives.

There was a pause, Faith looked over to Draco the storm that had raged there when they first met was not completely gone, but the Sith called Vulkan was no more and only the storms of Draco raged there. The angle of his nose, the dark masses of his hair, the look that told her he was hers, the touch in the middle of the night for nothing more than assurance she was still there, so many things about this man who stood before her had captured her.

This day, they were bound by law, but they had been bound by their souls from almost the very first day.

"Does anyone object to this union?"

Faith did not look...she waited though....a silent count 5 4 3 2 1

"Then do you Faith take this man Draco...................." the words moved on she smiled up at him what was he thinking right now, that he missed his opportunity to run, she laughed no. He was too excited that in no time the children would be born.

"A token of the bond between you..."

OH he would give her something, and she had something for him too....but first she had to wait her turn.

Draco watched Faith make her way to him at the alter patiently. She was breathtaking in her wedding gown and her eyes had a shine to them he had not seen many times before. She was ecstactic, nervous, and her eyes were locked on his.

Faith had seen him through some of the darkest parts of his life, and she had shown him some of the best times of his life so far. He knew there would be much more to come, highs and lows for both of them, and their children, which at this rate they would have a small herd, but he knew without a doubt he wanted to have those times with her.

When the officiant got to the objection part, Draco was still busy smiling at Faith holding her hands in his. He hardly heard the words, and he didn't bother with the short silence that followed. He had joked with Vilaz about stunning anyone who spoke up earlier in the day, before the ceremony had gotten started. In his mind he chuckled at the thought but was very pleased nothing happened to ruin Faith's special day. After all, this was for her, not for their guests, but for her and he was glad she finally got to have it.

As the ceremony progressed, it was time for him to give her a token of his affections for her to wear beside the other ring he had made for her. A gentle nudge to Vilaz and the ring was produced and slipped onto her ring finger. Draco was proud of his handiwork with that ring, as he felt that the fact that he made it himself was what actually made it special, but the three carat rainbow gem probably didn't hurt. Even still, there had been something about it missing until now, that he could see how it looked on her hand.

Draco smiled at her, waiting for whatever ring or token she had prepared for him.

[member="Faith Organa"]

Faith could not believe how beautiful the ring was so much more he always does so much more than he needs to, "I love it...and you, I'll never take it off" She tried not to cry tried to hold back the tears that kept sneaking out.

She looked over to Ana who held in her hand the red box Faith motioned for her to bring it over, Faith turned to Draco holding the box, "For you" Faith had seen to the details of her gift not meant for battle but if necessary he could poke holes in someone with it, if they threatened him. This was more of a token, something that said I honor your culture as you honor mine. May we have a long life that shows our respect for one another.

She held her breath, it was important that he like it. Course she knew already that he would never say that he didn't, especially here in front of all these guests. She did not look to others for their approval she did not need it.

There was only one person she needed right now, and he was across from her.

[member="Draco Vereen"]

Draco continued to smile, watching Faith's eyes shine, wet with tears that she fought to keep from streaking down her face. It warmed his heart to see her almost crying with joy at their wedding, reminding him of how much she had been willing to sacrifice, had sacrificed, to be with him. And that was good and bad. Good that someone cared that much about him, for the first time in a long time, and bad because he had never wanted to be her burden.

Draco saw the little red box and the ornamental dagger within. It was beautiful, just like her, and small, petite. Something he could carry with him everywhere and most people not look twice at it. But Draco liked it, and he could tell she had spent a good deal of time with the craftsmen getting the detail just the way she wanted it. He didn't examine it long before he took it and tucked it away in his jacket where it was safe and on his person.

"I love it baby." he said quietly as he looked into her eyes. The Officiant continued speaking after they had done and he droned out of Draco's concentration, the only thing he was focusing on was Faith by this point. The officiant nudged him slightly, "Huh?" Draco asked coming out of his love-sick daze for an instant.

[member="Faith Organa"]

He loved it, she could have melted right there. She smiled and half listened to the official words, upon words something about honor, cherish, not holding a grudge, and till death do you part.

She heard it, and felt a cringe for a moment inside, death, the one thing that could part them. It was evitable everyone came to a point where there was zero survival rate. She smiled at Draco, ready to whisk him away from all of this and stay at the Lake House and then move to Aldera and for as long as they could be together until he was called upon by the Mand'alor.

She did not know what the guests saw or heard as they served as witness to this union, but Faith standing there in front of Draco felt every bit of longing to be wrapped in his arms moving into the next phase of their whirlwind relationship.

She knew she only needed him by her side for the rest of her life, that he filled the emptiness left by Dar'yaim and Bud. An emptiness she thought she would never fill, would never want to fill. She had loved D with all her heart, soul, and body and his disappearance along with their son had killed everything within her. Until Draco.

With masses of long dark hair, storm gray eyes that made her shiver, and a heart as large as Alderaan. She had known from the moment she wanted to kiss him that he was meant to be hers, and hers alone.

The official was waiting, while they two of them stared at each other lost in their thoughts and marveling about one another.

[member="Draco Vereen"]

Draco's eyes didn't leave Faith's as he acknowledge the Officiant for an instant, just long enough to realize it was time for him to act again, to finish off the ceremony and move on to the reception. He wasn't looking forward to a long drawn out Reception. No, if he had his way, he would scoop her up and walk out with her on the spot, but he didn't quite have his way. They would have to make a cursory appearance at the reception.

Draco smiled at her and leaned forward, pushing the veil out of his way, revealing her face to him. "I love you ner runi," he whispered to her as he drew close. His arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her to him, and his lips pressed against hers. His fingers felt the warmth of her skin against them, his senses filled with her familiar, loving presence.

He drifted off into her embrace for a moment, losing track of time and space. All that mattered right now, was that Draco and Faith were finally, officially together, that nothing had stopped them, and that they were very much in love.

[member="Faith Organa"]

Oh he had the look the one that said I want to consume you here and now, and all she could say was do it.

She smiled as his lips captured hers, her hands slid under his arms and slid up his back drawing him as close as possible. Passion and love and fine line between the two, both in need of the other much like how Faith needed Draco.

He took her breath and gave his own, she crushed herself against him they were one finally all the months of waiting all the time spent just trying to do the right things so that this day could happen, all her thoughts. I love you Drahr, my heart, my soul, reason for breathing, you're finally all mine and no one can step between us.

She did not want to break the kiss she wanted more, she wanted it all until the official cleared his throat. The pair stopped Faith laughed.

The Official declared, "I present to you for the first time HRH Princess Faith, and her husband Draco Vereen" Faith held Draco's hand tightly, and started to lead him away down the aisle she had come, she looked over at her mother and sister, [member="Alyesa Organa"] she could see that they were both so very happy for her. Faith only hoped in time that Alyesa would see that Draco was all Faith needed.

Faith leaned towards Draco, "I'm starved"

Ahh yes the pregnant woman's syndrome, food.....

[member="Draco Vereen"]

Draco smiled as Faith pulled away from him ever so slightly. He didn't pay much attention to the crowd while she lead him, hand in hand, down the aisle and towards the back of the venue. His focus remained on her while they walked. "Starved, huh?" He said with a chuckle.

"Well, we can get you some cake in a moment and later, we can have some dessert. If you are good." The back area of the venue was private, so that the small wedding party could be separated and be announced when the group eventually made their way into the reception.

For now, Draco worried more about what Faith wanted to snack on more than when they would make a cursory appearance. Once they passed out of view of the guests and found the back lobby, Draco watched Faith while the bridesmaids made themselves a little more comfortable. He pulled Faith towards a recliner as he sat, pulling her to sit in his lap while they waited. "What kind of snack does my princess want while we wait for the reception to get started?" The Mandalorian kissed her neck playfully while they waited.

[member="Faith Organa"]

Faith laughed as she was pulled into a chair, "Claire made sure that there were plenty of finger foods to keep everyone from starving, I want some of those. There's fruit, cheese, meats...just a plate of something I've been sequestered most of the day so that you wouldn't see my dress."

She knew he appreciated everything she had on it was there in the look he gave her, she reached over and touched her gift to him, she wished it could have been something more something exquisite expensive, useful...ceremonial just seemed ...pretty.

"What about you Riduur...oh" She looked around, "Everyone out please I want some privacy" She had the right she could shoo them away, Then she turned her gaze back on Draco, "Are you still my Knight Errant?"

The title he had gotten that day on his ship, the first time he kissed her, and all of this whirlwind began. How sometimes she wishes for the peacefulness of those days, before the crusades, before, but then she couldn't complain everything after had been exquisite exciting and worth every aggravation, tear, and smile it brought.

[member="Draco Vereen"]

"Always." Draco whispered into Faith's ear while the wedding party made their way out of the little back room, giving the bride and groom some privacy. His hands slipped around her waist and her belly, feeling the subtle bumps from the twins as they were calm for the time being.

"Let's get you something to snack on while I pour my affections onto you, my love, ner runi, ner kar'ta." He made sure she was in reach of some small finger foods, but hunger wasn't truly on his mind. He only wanted to kiss all over her, feel her, to love her and show her how much. She could probably sense what was on her new husband's mind.

His hands held onto her like if he loosened his grip, she would fall, hugging her close to him and pressing her body against his, feeling her booty in his lap and her hair flowing beautifully against her back. His lips kissed her neck, shoulder, and back gently, leaving a trail of his affection on her skin. He felt her warmth bleeding through him and her closeness he had missed for the past few days while the wedding approached. They had obviously foregone some of the traditions of marriage, but Faith had insisted they wait for a few weeks to make their honeymoon special. Draco had agreed, but that didn't mean he wasn't excited the wait was over.

"Enjoy your little finger foods, and then we will go get some of those cakes." He said between warm kisses against the back of the base of her neck.
