"Yeah." He told her.

That time was also non-negotiable sadly. He had already booked the return trip home. The flight wouldn't take all that long, which was a good thing since the day after tomorrow he and Kaile were scheduled to take off on their first survey mission. The time table was important here, and Kurt knew that so he would stick to it.

"Three PM local time." Which would see him return to Sullust at round 9am Local time. It was all very confusing. "Hangar A344."

He had memorized the flight schedule just in case.

Kurt didn't trust himself not to lose the ticket and other info he had in his bag.

"Okay. Then you'll need to be at the starport by 1:00. Security there has gotten incredibly tight as of late due to the attacks and such."

Not even she could simply push him through the system easily anymore. The rules applied to everyone now, even herself. It wasn't something she disagreed with, but it it was the way of things at least for now, until security protocols were reviewed and additional measures of automated prevention could be put into place.

"I'm going to have to see to the situation with my sister when my family returns."

That was hardly a discussion she was looking to have as well, likely as much, or close to as much as Kurt had dreaded coming to Naboo.

"Suppose I will let you know how that goes."

"Okay." Security hadn't exactly been lax when he'd left Sullust, but the screenings had taken him a little under half an hour. It probably helped that he still had a little bit of security clearance, something the SIS helped with, but here on Naboo he supposed that didn't really help all that much. He frowned for a moment and considered what would happen if he brought his own ship. Would there be inspections?

Probably by now. Things hadn't been going well here. "I'll drop you off back at the Palace before I go then."

He knew she likely had to work there, he'd taken her away from important affairs after all. His arms slowly slid around her as she mentioned her sister. It was obvious that her parents had left to deal with their own problems, but had she talked to Maryia at all? Kurt doubted it, but she'd kind of glossed over the subject earlier when she'd mentioned the Sith.

"It'll be a bit easier to reach me now." He told her. "We'll mostly be in the core."

Near Holo-transceivers.

"Okay." If there was one thing she didn't want to do, it was dwell on the idea of the situation for too long. Not with what little time there was left now. Jamie rubbed the back of her neck, massaging herself, her head practically drowning in the waterfall running over her hair and face. "I'll let you know." After all, it couldn't get any worse than what she had imagined in her head. A total collapse of her family, separation of her parents, the rejection of her sister, being forbidden to see her by her mother.

She had just about thought of every possible scenario with all the time she had to think of the ways this could go.

Most were not happy endings.

"I'm not expecting to have to leave here for some time, but I suppose that also depends on what Aela, or the SIS might need me or us for."

Kurt slipped his hands on top of Jamie's, his fingers gently intertwining with hers for just a moment. The sunburn likely didn't feel too great with the hot water, but his palms gently stroked over her skin as he leaned in and kissed the top of her head. He had to bite back a sneeze as water got up his nose, though he managed to avert it with a slight scrunch of his face and a few errant blinks. "Okay."

He told her with a smile.

"I suppose that'll make things easier." Plus, it would at least make him feel like she was safe. The Sith was in prison, and he doubted that the creature could escape. If Jamie wasn't running around on SIS missions it also meant she wouldn't get herself killed, another calming thought. "Just let me know if you go somewhere."

She didn't have to say where, just make him aware. In case something happened.

His fingers squeezed hers. "Don't want to find your picture on the News after you and Aela save Coruscant or something."

"I'll try to, but I don't always get a heads up when Aela decides it's time to go someplace."

The girl finished scrubbing and rinsing before half-stepping out of the basin onto the large water absorbing mat, reaching up to grab a towel while she eyed Kurt's body with a small grin. "And I am certain I will be hearing from her soon." If nothing else than to be scolded or interrogated over her forgetting to remove the bracelet.

"No promises though."

She tossed Kurt one of the towels, allowing it to drape over the curtain of the shower for when he was finished.

"I'm not sure what our plans are just yet. I think she's considering leaving the Jedi Order. But I agreed to stick by her regardless."

He scrubbed himself for a moment, using Jamie's shampoo to wash his hair and the scruff on his face. He scrubbed for a moment more, his nose crinkling as he realized that he now smelled like lavender. His head shook as he switched off the water, his hand reaching up to pull down the towel and quickly wrap it around himself. "Leaving the Order?"

Kurt echoed her, surprise in his voice.

It was clear that he hadn't expected such an answer. Kurt knew very little about Aela, but from what he did know he had guessed that she was somewhere high up in the New Jedi Order, one of their Marshals. Her leaving would likely make a splash of some sort, or at least would mark a difference. He frowned for a moment as she dried off his head, ruffling his own hair within the towel and stepping out of the shower so that he could look at Jamie.

"Isn't the Alliance about to go to war?" Seemed like an odd time to leave everything behind. "With what happened at Kaeshanna."

That was what the other pilots had hinted at anyway.

"Yes." Jamie wrapped the towel around herself before pulling free another from the cubby to wrap her hair up in. The blonde stepped off to the side and onto the cold marble floor to allow Kurt enough room to use the mat. "But she doesn't want to fight in warzones and on battlefields anymore." Jamie didn't fault her for it. That was just the way of things. Nobody wanted that life forever. Jamie didn't want it at all, to be frank.

The girl pressed the towel against her body to help dry her skin from the droplets of water running down her chest and shoulders.

"She wants to focus on smaller worlds, ones struggling to survive on their own."

She shrugged. "I told her I'd help her regardless, aside from my obligations here."

He could understand that impulse.

War wasn't really his game either, fighting in general really. Kurt wasn't a cowered, at least he didn't think so, but he had no real cause to fight for. He wasn't like Jamie or Kaile, he didn't think that the galaxy weighed on his shoulders. All that he cared about was his friends, his family, his girlfriend. If they were in danger he would fight...but a government? A whole system of planets? No, that just wasn't in him. He shook his head slightly as he walked across the bathroom floor.

His arms wrapped around Jamie from behind. "Well."

He told her quietly with a kiss on her cheek.

"I can't say I'm disappointed at the prospect of you missing out on a few warzones." He had enough of a heart attack when she told him about her more secretive adventures.

If Jamie were to end up in the middle of the front-lines on Dossun? Yeah he would probably keel over.

Jamie leaned back into Kurt's embrace, head turning to return the gesture. Her hands fell atop his around her belly, holding for a moment.

"There will still be fighting. That's probably unavoidable. But I am hoping it's more sabotaging regimes and warlords than direct conflict."

The planets outside of the reaches of most galactic factions were generally much lower in population and their governments were more loosely controlled. Often times at odds with itself and the population. Peace and stability was the goal there, to ensure a lasting survival of those planets and their people. Not to bring them into the folds of one faction or another.

"The more time I spend here though," She gestured around the four walls, "The more I realized I can never truly leave."

Jamie had come to realize as of late that no matter her desires, she had obligations to her planet and people both as a Jedi and as a civilian.

"It's your home." He told her quietly.

Kurt could understand why she felt so obligated. Jamie was undeniably important on Naboo. He didn't exactly know what she actually did on this world, but it was clear that she had influence with the local politicians, more than a little bit. She had no interest in being Queen apparently, but in all honesty...Kurt didn't rule it out for her. She was ambitious, smart, and wanted to protect her world.

"Just make sure you don't overload yourself." He told her quietly as he kissed her cheek. "Politics..."

He sighed. "Can be absolutely brutal."

Not to mention everything else that Jamie had to deal with if she was going to stay here.

"I'll make sure you get plenty of vacations." He said with a slight smile.

"I will try not to." The blonde pulled away from Kurt, heading towards the door. "But the politics here seem to pale in comparison to the rest of the galaxy's problems."

The door gave a slight creak as it opened back into Jamie's bedroom.

"If I can help it, I'll never say no to a vacation."

Sandy beaches on distant stars? Or dark tombs holding secrets of darker lords. Exploration was her passion, after all.

"Come on, let's get dressed so we can start dinner. I'm hungry."

The escapades in the pool had certainly accelerated that hunger. She could practically hear the echoes of her tummy rumbling. Jamie patted her shoulders and chest down a few times more against the fabric of the towel before heading towards her dresser for a fresh set of clothes.

Kurt wasn't so lucky as to have an entire dresser, he'd brought a backpack with exactly one change of clothes which had been meant for tomorrow, though he supposed that after...activities it was best to simply change into those rather than get dressed in his old shirt. Quickly the Courier wandered over to where he had dropped his bag earlier, fishing out the half scrunched and rolled up pair of pants and shirt before pulling them on.

He glanced over toward's Jamie as he bounced around a bit pulling on his pant leg, smiling as he saw her slip on his favorite lingerie of hers.

Briefly Kurt wondered if she did that consciously.

Either way, Kurt appreciated it quietly as he watched her, his pants finally coming on as he stood there like an idiot. The small smile didn't go away as she pulled on a pair of pants, though Kurt finally turned away and grabbed his shirt, pulling it over his head the wrong way around at first before quickly spinning it around. He settled the garment in place, letting out a soft sigh as he wiggled his toes against the floors, deciding socks could stay off for now. "Alright."

He said as he walked up behind Jamie.

"I'm ready to watch you cook." He planted a kiss on her cheek.

Jamie hadn't in fact put on what Kurt favored most intentionally. Perhaps subconsciously she had done it, her inner psyche understanding and reflecting what he liked to her seemingly unintended actions. By the time the girl finished dressing and turned to Kurt he had already made his way behind her and kissed her. A delighted smile parted her lips. She turned, facing him. Raising herself slightly on the tips of her toes she kissed him on a more leveled way.

"Alright then." She said quietly. Her hand fell to his, tugging him along towards the door that led back into the hallway.

The kitchen itself was glamorous and massive, fit for a dozen or so to work in tandem with one another to prepare the grandest of meals. This however, would be simplistic in comparison, and Jamie needed no other help. "The bar is just outside that door there" She said, pointing as she rounded the large island counter top.

"If you want to make yourself something to drink while I get everything out."

He smiled. "Do you want anything?"

It occurred to him in all the time they had been together he'd never actually seen Jamie drunk, though apparently her Master now had. Kurt frowned for a moment at the thought, though then got a slightly...amusing idea. He smirked but didn't let Jamie see.

"Tatooine Sunrise?" It was an incredibly famous, highly alcoholic drink. "Desert Slam?"

Same went for that. "Racer's delight?"

Even more so than the previous two. Perhaps his plan would be rather obvious.

The blonde shook her head. "There should be a glass slider beneath the counter top of the bar on the left side. Any of the wine bottles there will be fine for me."

She would leave out the fact that those bottles cost roughly 1000 credits each, and that there were twenty four variations of them. Unless Kurt was familiar with fine wine, she wasn't going to divulge the cost.

"I like them all." After all she was the one who purchased them the most frequently, so it only made sense.

Jamie then proceeded to pull down a number of the hanging utensils, pots, and pans from along the hooks above the range. A few knives, a cutting board, and an arrangement of spices would be enough to start. The girl wasn't exactly a master chef or anything, but she did know a thing or two about proper eating. "You can make whatever you'd like though. There should be enough liquor for anything you could want."

Her father was a drinker. He liked anything with an expensive name. Kurt would find that anything he wanted to use was something considered top shelf.

It didn't take long for Kurt to start perusing all the alcohol.

He remembered having made his way behind the bar at one of the Cantinas in Mos Eisley, the sight that he was currently taking in reminded him more than a little bit of that. His lips thinned slightly as he looked at some of the bottles, recognizing the brands as being extremely expensive on a good day. His fingers ran over a few of the available glasses, a small smile perking on his lips as he passed over one of them. Eventually he plucked a smaller glass from the bar and began to pour his drink.

A Tatooine Sunset, a spin on the sunrise. There was a little bit more amber whisky in this one, though that didn't really change it all that much save for the color. He finished his drink and eventually pulled one of the bottles of wine from the shelf, not even bothering with looking.

Kurt knew nothing about wine. "This okay?"

The Courier asked as he wandered back into the kitchen holding the bottle and a glass, balancing his own drink in the other hand.

Jamie turned from the counter to look at Kurt. She smiled, nodded, but then laughed.

"It's fine, yes. But..." She took the glass and the bottle, then tilted the latter towards Kurt so that he could see. "How exactly am I going to drink this with the cork in it, silly?"

She laughed, taking the bottle from him all the same and walking back towards the bar where a slender cylindrical device sat atop the counter. "Need this to remove the cork."

Placing the bottle inside she stepped to the side so that Kurt could see the automated corkscrew come down, depress into the top of the bottle and quickly spin down and back up, removing the plug. Once done, the small door would open allowing Jamie to remove the bottle. "There. See?" Carrying the bottle back to the counter she set it down beside Kurt's drink and slowly poured some of the crimson liquid into the glass. Twice she swirled the wine before offering it to Kurt. The strong sickly sweet smell would waft up from within the stemware.

"Want to try it?"

Kurt had never really been much for wine. It's production in general was kind of frowned upon on Tatooine, mostly because making it took so much water. Other alcohols were pretty much the same save for hard liquors, which was a reason that most of Tatooine had a...well higher than average tolerance.

Hard living. "Hmm."

He smelled the wine for a moment in consideration. The taste of it had always put him off for some reason, it was one aspect of why he thought he'd never fit in with high society. Kurt preferred liquor, mixed drinks, and a beer or two now and again, though really he wasn't all that much for drinking. Not anymore anyway.

"I will." He slowly stepped closer to her. "If you try some of mine."

A small smile perked on his lips.

The girl scrunched her nose, leering at the glass in his hand. She could practically taste the starship fuel from nothing more than the scent. It even looked radioactive. The muscles in her neck flared as she drew back her lower lip with trepidation. "I don't know." She recalled what had happened back on Vineta with Aela. And even though that was wine mixed with shots, she remembered how she felt later. Not good.

Blue eyes fell back to her own blood red glass, finger lightly tapping on the wall to make a soft clink, clink while she pondered.

"Fine." She finally agreed. She wasn't going to drink the whole thing, only a small sip, and she was home, so there was really no threat to worry about here. "But you have to try mine first."

A wicked smile painted her face.

"I asked first. It's only fair."
