The question would lash a stab of pain in her heart. Her lips would thin under the screen of her crab armor.

// He is doing the will of the Goddess. //

The voice would play telepathically for the seemingly mute Darth. Her tiny form would dwarf next to him, had they been visible through normal means. But the manipulation of the White Current for both of them through [member="Darth Carach"] 's power meant that neither sapient nor droid would be able to discover them -- only another specialist of the Fallanassi ways would be able to discern the touch of the White Current.

They would make their way into the city, block by block. Chaos would surround them but they would not be distinguishable. Step by step, they made haste.

With the Yuuzhan Vong Aquatic forces moving back to secure the Rift, two lone Sith Masters wrapped in the white current would not be detected as they headed up the Southside of the city to its core.

It was the prerogative of a Mentalist to be in tune with the feelings and emotions of those around him, so it wasn’t strange when Darth Carach could practically feel the pain radiating from Neph as the question hit home. The Sith Lord grimaced, rubbing his nose bridge and mumbling.

Don’t we all.”

It wasn’t clear if he was being overly sarcastic about the ordeal or if it should be taken as reverence. He coughed, rather awkwardly, and in that moment it was clear that even as Sith Lords, that even as men and women who held the power to unravel the fabric of reality by a flick of the wrist… they were still human. Underneath the hubris, the twisted maelstrom of the Darkside corrupting them they still had a vague resemblance of something decent. Sometimes.

I…’ Carach began. ‘...hope he will be alright, Neph.’ Before, awkwardly again, turning his head away to check their surroundings.

Korsan flew back a few feet when Nulgath kicked him right in the face. He thought he was ready for a counter-attack, but turned out he wasn't. This time he was ready, though. He shrugged the pain off, and ran at Nulgath, sliding on the ground when he was a few meters away from his target, aiming to kick at Nulgath's legs. He kept his Lightsaber ready, just in case Nulgath tried anything. If Nulgath counter-attacked, Korsan wouldn't be able to dodge, but he would be able to parry. That is, if the Sith did dodge from His slide-kick.

[[A bit of both actually]]

I'd managed to fight off my opponent's last attack, now it was time to respond with something powerful.
Her force push knocked me back a bit, but I quickly regained my posture.
A candy red glow could be seen coming from my robe, the dark side was building within me.
Taking advantage of my opponent getting up, I combined Force Speed and the single Juyo waza I knew (essentially forming kuzuryusen)
My opponent would almost certainly be hit, and this technique would hit anybody hard.

Her right hand drummed at the hilt as the man unequipped the equipment he had brought with him. As he paced so did she. Not once did her eyes wander off. The man had her complete attention and she took a deep breath to ready herself as piece, by piece, by piece of her opponent’s arsenal hit the floor. Had she brought anything except for the black boots and jumpsuit that she was wearing she would have returned the favor, but she couldn’t.

She took a second deep breath to relieve the tension within her. Her saber wasn’t lit, yet it was just a matter of time now, she could practically feel the sands within the hourglass pile up. With a third deep breath she phased out the second attempt at intimidation. Any other jedi could have felt the need to retort, but not her, not since the raid at the Praxeum. Instead she steeled herself for the imminent battle, her shot to prove to herself that she was deserving of her rank.

And then, the battle started. Her opponent sped towards her and in a swift motion she activated her saber. The green pillar of energy burst forth as her opponent went for her left shoulder in a feigned attack that became an attack at her right shoulder. Saber solely in her right hand she raised it for the block before realizing what the man was trying to do. In a ungraceful move to block the real attack she managed to perform at the cost of her footing and stumbled backwards.

It was a small loss when compared to the cost if his attack had landed. The stumble came to an end a short few feet away from where she had been and she readjusted her stance once more as she placed her dominant foot in front of her and with her right hand she pointed her saber at the ground in front of her. A look at the man told her that she most likely could have performed a counter-attack but her confidence betrayed her.

For now she simply settled for regaining her footing proper and carefully awaited her rival’s next move. She had to know her enemy before she could strike at it and so far he had proven himself quite capable.

"There!" Khallesh whispered through clenched teeth upon seeing the bright blade used on the soldiers her scouts had guided in. "A Jeedai," she hissed. Not just any Jeedai, her Jeedai. She double checked her Blaze Bug to be certain, but she was correct. There were no ranking Yuuzhan Vong nearby who she would have to accede to. The honour would be hers alone.

She felt her amphistaff shudder as it would its way around her forearm, reacting to her excitement. She took a thud bug in each hand, before instructing her squad of elite hunters to carry on directing the assault on the eastern side of the generator. No doubt one of them would take her place if she fell to the Jeedai.

She leapt down from her vantage point and darted through the streets towards where she had seen her target go into cover.

"Jeedai! Face me!" she sullied her tongue by calling out her challenge in the common language of the Galaxy.

In victory or death, she would bring honour to domain Val on this day.

She felt the blaze of heat, the sizzle of the air close by as bolts aimed directly at her chased her tail – the reason she didn’t have a hole right through flesh and muscle was only by virtue of the speed she was using to get to Rekali. Someone deeper within the complex had planned to shut her down unceremoniously and Matsu reserved a special place in her heart for their future…

She’d wanted to see what she was up against with the Jedi with her attack, and with the resounding crack – the white-hot blaze of color that took over her vision for a moment – she got her answer.

The moment Aaralyn had grabbed her and rolled herself in to be back-to-chest with Matsu the Sith had recoiled, a move that saved her from more than one broken bone – her nose however, caved under the elbow thrown in to her face. With a growl of pain she stumbled backwards with the force of Rekali’s added shove, trying to suck in a breath but finding a torrent of blood in the way. She hesitated to reset her nose right there, the crackling of the fracture ringing in her ears as she took a step to follow the Jedi’s path – she wanted no distractions as she pursued her quarry, mapping everyone’s minds around her as she watched the Jedi’s progress. She could feel her blood curling around the corners of her mouth to drip off her chin and she ran her tongue out over her lips, stalking Aaralyn as the Sith slipped in within a herd of rushing Vong to shield herself, moving closer to her target within their ranks.

In the days long before any of them, the Sith had placed their sorcerers high above battle to rain down curses on the enemy’s armies. Magic often required a moment of concentration, a communion with every sorcerer that came before during recitation better suited to an eagle’s nest. But she’d focused on altering, and she formed a Spear of Midnight Black in her palms as Vong poured by her, shielded her diminutive size as she watched from between their river-rush bodies. (She built with her pain, grew strong from the shooting agony of her nose pulsing through her cheeks and gripping at her skull. There was a numbness to the totality of it, a grip that had her hanging her jaw slightly, pulling in air as blood blocked her from breathing through her nose. Pain and anger…pain and anger…)

She’d been close enough to discern that the woman’s armor was strong, very strong, and she thought she’d seen Terentatek hide in the hood. Granted she had been rather busy trying to avoid having more than her nose broken but she’d been around enough of the beasts to know – Sithspawn ran rampant within the ranks of the One Sith and she’d done some time for the Beast Hunter’s taking them down alive. She was banking on the work she’d seen the razor-bug perform, banking on a weak spot as she broke from her cover of Vong once she was close enough to guarantee at least a fair amount of accuracy as she released the spear towards Rekali. At its most devastating, what she’d just released would pass right through her target and leave a hole sizzling clean through her opponent, or perhaps catch them up and pin them to the wall behind them to die slowly. The armor might prove tricky, but she was hoping to use the Jedi’s distraction against the Vong to her advantage – even if all it accomplished was more akin to the force of a punch, a hard blow instead of the piercing stab she wanted.

Once released, she reached in to the bag slung over her shoulder and grabbed two of the thermal detonators, activating them with bloody fingers before throwing them at the Jedi – collateral damage be damned, she had eyes only for the target.

The leviathan’s movement over the city, its enormous size making the floating establishments’ width seem more a sandbox than an urban sprawl, shook the ground as she circled closer to her opponent to see how she’d fared, unwilling to stand in one place and make herself an easy opponent (or get within the blast radius of what she'd just chucked with all her might until she was sure she wouldn't get another arm blown off). It would come for them all soon but she just wanted to see the end of this first, make enough holes in this woman’s armor to thrust her durasteel claws in and tear her to shreds.

Distraction was the bedrock of a mentalist's offensive, and she hoped her dual assault combined with the whirring insectile sounds of Vong would give her an opening as she reached out and tried ripping the Jedi open. There was a distinctly ancient feeling to this one, though far less pleasant and intriguing than she found Reverance's to be and she found it distasteful, driving shards of pain towards Rekali's mind as Matsu circled, spider-legs down her web.

Whatever the red glow around her opponent meant, it couldn't be good, and the look of angry determination on the Jedi's face only deepened Vrag's concern. She had less than a fraction of a second to do something, so the firrerreo did the first thing that comes to a Sith in times of emergency.

She Force pulled one of the Yuuzhan Vong troopers that were flooding the area by now, using his body as a live shield even as she dove sideways to avoid the brunt of the knight's attack. She had underestimated the Jedi, it seemed, when she thought the Force augmented kick would send her sprawling for a few seconds at least. One of the strikes must have hit her, but the sting of pain got lost in the torrent of adrenaline flowing through her veins.

No matter, she thought, the roaring of blood in her ears drowning out the din of battle. There's only one way this can end.

Vrag let her tightly leashed rage spread through her body, a blossoming warmth originating where her heart should be. Without so much as a word the 200 lbs. of muscle and metal came careening towards the Jedi.

Chaos had erupted on the bridge and the piles of dead Vong were dropping before her, physically and mentally – she was becoming drained. Fighting Yuuzhan Vong were like fighting Sith Lords in their prime in their own right, mostly due to the inability to utilize the Force directly on them and their hellish armor made of that damned crab. One who knew the Vong knew they could use telekinesis in a crushing manner or lightning to defeat the Vong, but Aaralyn never practiced any form of lightning. Tyrena would move swiftly to the left to deflect an incoming biot, while she spun to the right with Kor-Vella in her left hand, reverse grip and deflected a second.

A sensation rippled through her that was like an alarm through the Force and it was a feeling she was familiar with but unfortunately - she was offbeat. As she finished her spinning maneuver, the clanking sound of the rolling and bouncing thermal detonators caught her ear but just barely and the threat indicator in her HUD indicated the direction they were coming from. In a blur of speed, she hurled Yuuzhan Vong corpses in the direction of the thermal detonators, unaware of the second threat that was blurring in in a wispy black trail of darkened energy.

The thermal detonators exploded, and they did with such an explosive force that cracked the very foundations of the bridge itself leading to the generators – although it did not cause them to give way. A spray of Yuuzhan Vong parts, Vonduun crab armor and various discarded weaponry was sent flying in different directions. No doubt, extreme amounts of weight and more explosive damage from shelling (as which happened earlier) would cause the bridge to give way in large sections and send who knows what into the chilly waters below.

Aaralyn had felt it at the last second, somewhere in the Force – someone screamed a warning. The impact of the Spear against her chest was as if her chest had been caved in. The world felt as if were spinning and her vision was suddenly blinded by a thousand suns. She felt something crack, deep within her chest wall – most likely her sternum. Her armor buckled underneath the pressure as she was thrown back ten yards, tumbling like a leaf in the wind. In her trip back towards the generator doors, she knocked over what Republic Troopers who were left and Vong attempting to attack those positions before coming to rest against a make shift barricade. Her eyes had clenched shut from the pain and the Force was screaming at her. She felt like it was raging, as if it were a rampant river. No longer did the Force speak to her in a smooth, calming manner - like flowing creek water through her body. Her eyes suddenly flashed open, glowing orbs of violet revealed the true feelings boiling within her - anger and the desire to destroy the other individual. The Vahla within her cried out for blood, it yearned to rip the face off [member="Matsu Xiangu"] and feed it to the man eating sharks and then drain every ounce of blood within her body and rain it down upon the Sith.

Oh she was pissed.

Her right hand trembled as she brought it up to her face, raspy quick breaths as she struggled to breathe through the sternal fracture. The more she breathed, the more it hurt. The more it hurt, the more it empowered her to want to destroy the very life force of the woman who caused the pain. ‘Control the emotions.’ She heard the voice of her father echo in her mind. Yes, control. Her eyes shifted to her left to stare at the broken hilt of Tyrena at her side, a grim look appearing on her facial features.

‘Well, now you’ve done it.’ She thought to herself as she threw the lightsaber over the edge of the bridge and into the waters below. A personal gift from her father, destroyed by the One Sith but atleast she still had it's twin, Kor-Vella. Well now, things just got a little personal didn’t they? Aaralyn slowly rose to her feet, struggling to regain her footing and using every means possible to stand on her own two feet. Finally, after a moment or two, she managed to get upright and her violet eyes immediately found the sneaky form of Matsu in and out of Vong formations.

Aaralyn needed to isolate the woman and then beat her within an inch of her life, but would prove extremely difficult considering the amount of Vong pouring from the pores of the One Sith offensive areas. It would be easier and more likely successful just to get her head on and take her there. Her type of woman, apparently one of those tricksters with the mind would attack from behind and keep bombarding until the individual was weakened enough and finally they would go in for the kill.

No, Aaralyn needed to come in, head on and get her down to the ground – and that’s exactly what she would do. While Matsu was moving between Vong formations, trying to keep her eyes on the injured Rekali, Aaralyn moved between Republic troops who were fighting Vong – using Force speed to her advantage. Despite how quickly she would advance, she’d falter here and there due the injury to her chest but she wouldn’t allow Matsu to see her coming. With the mixed emotions and raw energy flowing around the battlefield, one might even say it would be hard to detect her coming until it was too late.

As soon as Aaralyn was on her, she unleashed herself. Matsu wasn’t as big as Aaralyn thought she was, infact she was a lot smaller than Aaralyn – but that didn’t matter. Aaralyn came in low, intent on spearing the smaller framed woman, lifting her as high as possible *mostly due to injury* and slamming her down into the permacrete with such a force it would either daze her or knock her out cold.

I suppose so.’ the Voice of the Dark Lord spoke, his tone was neutral as was his expression. But he didn’t believe a word of it, oh… Carach believed that Neph believed it - yet his name meant freedom, subjugating himself to the idea of some Goddess, admittedly a weirdly hot one, did not fit in that particular scheme.

He kept his thoughts to himself, naturally. Everyone had the right to their own beliefs and religions, that too was the beauty of freedom. You could do what you want, until you try to enforce it upon those who are to strong to kneel as simple as that. ‘We are getting closer.’ the Sith Lord shared with her.

For a moment Vornskr wondered what had possessed the Grandmaster to block with her arm rather than with her blade, but it became evident that it was more tactical than he had initially believed when the energy beam of his blade clashed against it, and then died so suddenly. Cortosis, how cliche, but even so it was still effective in momentarily surprising the towering Sith Lord, but he was not one to remain surprised for very long. With the utmost swiftness Vornskr re-clipped his lightsaber to his side as the Grandmaster came at him again this time not with her blades, but with a savage burst of electric judgement aimed directly at his face. His gauntlets aided him slightly, for they were designed to devour a portion of the Force thrown at him in the form of an attack, but it was a slim margin by what they lessened the blow. Still, Vornskr was no stranger to lightning from either side of the Force, and he dealt with it better than most would.

He was blinded for a fraction of a second as the lightning enveloped his vision, and caused him to organically reel back, but that was all the time the Grandmaster needed to move in again. This time she went for the gauntlets wrapped around his hands and forearms, which was the cause of her duress, but the Epicanthix Lord of the Sith was not at all ready to part with his treasures just about yet. While Kiskla was suffering from his gauntlet's devouring nature, Vornskr was only benefiting from it as his energy levels were at their peak, and he was as quick as a viper when Kiskla attempted to grab his arms. His armored hands shot out to counter-grab Kiskla's own arms, and with a terrible squeeze of the muscles in his hands he attempted to use the power of his crushgaunts to cause some damage to both of her arms before he suddenly wrenched her back, and then attempted to fling the unarmored Grandmaster forward and to the right into the nearby structures with bone-shattering force.

"You expect the herd to correctly exercise free will? Because of your 'free will', the galaxy is in shambles. Absolute chaos! We've come to restore order, and every moment you resist that order you further ensure the destruction of us all. And you call us the villains? Don't make me laugh, Grayson!"

She hadn’t enough time to employ shatterpoint on the devices that she’d denoted the means of her exhaustion. She had, though, had time to discover that should the opportunity arise again she very well could make those things more brittle than one would anticipate beskar being.
Thick hands twisted to counter-grip her wrists and she winced at the impact, the pressure from the metal of her gauntlets pressed against her flesh. A hiss expelled from between clenched teeth, and she wrinkled her nose as a result from the smell of his burnt flesh and metal from the lightning. It hadn’t totally toasted him, but it had been effective enough to create a stench.

Then she felt a twitch beyond the squeeze, and before she could react (though she tried to bring her legs up to meet his abdomen in response) her svelte frame was being tossed like a rag doll from a canon. The distance from Vornskr to building wasn’t enough to reduce momentum, and she felt her back crack against one of the beautifully designed, pristine white buildings. She gasped loudly on impact, the collision blackening her vision as she slid the remaining meters to the ground. She was acutely aware of the pain, considering her state of underdress. Liquid formed around her eyes from the pressure, and violet curtains threatened to drop. There was no air to immediately fill her lungs, and she leaned against the wall she’d just fallen victim to — struggling to stay erect and choke for breaths. Her head pounded, her back shrieked, and she was disoriented for the time being while Vornskr’s voice filled her ears.

Kiskla only afforded a groan in response, drawing her legs in toward her and reaching behind her to stand. A shaky resurrection occurred, and she stared at the ground in the few seconds of mercy Vornskr had offered her by not charging. She was hunched, gaining strength from The Force that was hurrying back to her since there was a fair distance between them once again. Her cells exploded with the regenerative influence of Ashla, and it flowed excitedly through the Grandmaster, though her physical still looked quite pained.

She furrowed her brow, coughing before murmuring to herself a reassurance, though she couldn’t summon the volume at this time to make an appropriately targeted retort. “There will always be chaos. Tyrannical rule does not bring life meaning.” She hasn’t a god — she couldn’t very well make judgement calls on what one sentient was to do with their life, while another did something else. She merely had to protect those innocent enough to make those choices themselves.

As the ship orbited the cannon I told the commander behind me "Go land the ships at the west and ask the person in charge for your orders". The commander looked at me like I was crazy asked me " Where are you going". I smiled and said "For a little dive" and with that I jump out the dropship. I have done worse things in my life but now is not the time to think of that.

As I flew through the air..well not flew more like plummeted extremely fast I saw the walker line up another turret in it sites. I used the force around me to slow down my speed. Think of it as a falling rock except that this rock weight 200 pound and if falling 70 miles per hour. Though I kept the force centered on me the whole time as I fell. I slowed me down but not fast enough to, when I hit the ground stop me from having a few cracked ribs.

It work if not for where I landed which was about 80 yards from it. I hoped to the force that no one saw me fly in here.
I then stood up and debated to either go to take out the walker or go after [member="Ludolf Vaas"]. I sighed and slowly jogged towards the cannon going from building.

Vornskr watched as Kiskla slowly rose from the rubble, and smirked a devious grin underneath the leering visage of his helmet. Why had he not rushed in to continue his assault? Well, perhaps he was getting too arrogant and was relishing in his opponent's slow defeat, and was allowing her to regain some of her strength while he remained just out of range with full tanks. With a subtle gesture of his armored hand, he unclipped his lightsaber from his side and let the hilt float down to rest gently in his outstretched palm. Wrapping his fingers around the hilt, he clicked the activator switch and was pleased by the sound of his lightsaber exploding into life after it had been temporarily deactivated by the Grandmaster's cortosis gauntlets. "I do admire your unwavering devotion to your beliefs, despite the fact that the longer your cling to your dying ways the quicker you plunge into the grave. It is quite sad, actually, you have proven yourself a worthy adversary, and when you are nothing but a corpse crushed beneath my boot... I daresay I shall miss our time together."

The Sith Lord angled the point of his blade towards the disheveled Grandmaster, and chuckled darkly at his own words. Now he was just really basking in his own superiority, a common flaw in the way most Sith Lords operate when their foes are on the ropes, but unlike the stories and fairy tales, Vornskr was quite convinced that the Grandmaster had nothing up her sleeve to change the tide of this struggle. He had planned this moment meticulously for weeks, nay, even months! His victory over the Grandmaster had been his obsession, which led to the creation of many artifacts of power, and the desecration of entire worlds in his quest. He wouldn't let Kiskla get clipped by some no-name like his last foes had been, like Diana and Tahira! He should've been the one to put both of those wretches in the ground, but that victory was stolen away from him by others, and it infuriated him to no end.

Gathering power in his left fist, he unleashed it as a torrential downpour of Sith Lightning aimed at the general area in which Kiskla occupied rather than a concentrated stream, and empowering himself with the Force he began a derelict charge towards the Grandmaster. He now held his lightsaber in one, and was channeling destructive Force powers in the other, and he was coming straight for Kiskla like a runaway locomotive freighter!

Bellona smirked as she saw the jedi drop the gun to the ground. A single idea struck her as she saw the jedi adopt some strange stance. Her eyes darted back and forth between the gun laying on the ground and the pained man. His strength was falling fast and Bellona could feel it. It feed her in her rage and battle against him."The jedi are not as mighty as they seem. Don't tell me your reputation is exaggerated " she said before she lifted the gun up and launched at him from one angle. As the gun flew at him from one side, she flew at him from the other. He would have but one choice. Save himself from the impact of the gun or save himself from her deadly assault. Her sabers found their way into a position to strike at his head and his chest.

Xilo caught his own saber in his hand after throwing the razor bugs but what he saw was the powerful beam that the jedi was trying to fend off. It was funny really. Well it was till Xilo noticed the beam crossing the ground towards him. Looking up at the jedi a look similar to a excited childs on his face Xilo quickly leaned away from the beam knowing that there was no way to avoid it completely. Yet he was not willing to give up his advantage. Sacrificing his already useless arm Xilo growled and he pounced forward and past the beam rushing towards the jedi. The pain was unimaginable tears flooding down Xilo's cheeks as the now cauterized wound pained him but in his eyes there was a even bigger thing behind the pain. It was joy he was a child in a candy shop. The arm that had been cut off laid there on the ground completely forgotten by Xilo. It was useless to him, he already couldn't use it after it went limp. Rushing the jedi knowing that he would have to stop deflecting the laser if he didn't want to get hit by the razor bugs Xilo lifted up his good arm preparing to duel the jedi if he dodged the razor bugs. His pain giving him the encouragement to move on, he wanted to pay the jedi back for what he had just made Xilo loose.

NPC - Patricia Susan Garter - Vong (235 (accounting for additional loses from residual posts) plus the 62 firing on the Gunships)

Perhaps in a perfect world for the republic defenses, the Vong would have sat there, not looking towards the sky in anticipation for the aerial protection that would be rather expected. And perhaps they would have also dropped in to dance, bits of breakdancing broken up by slings of shells and aerial explosives. Ironically, they were actually rather good at the robot. But nevertheless, they hadn't boxed themselves in, they had merely charged as they are often too do. And since bridges don't narrow as they progress, remaining with some form of continuity of girth in it's length, their was no capacity for bunching of the masses. So they retained their defensive matrix as they progressed towards the force, a single canon fire enough to remove one from the equation. And it's a good thing that necks of tanks move in order to aim, allows for anticipation. And thankfully for the remaining 62 vong, hunched just out of range of sight from the defenses, the gunships had started their movement without strafing. Made it easier for the trap laid as they fired a monstrous barrage of Blast Bugs (analog to a guided missile) from their Thud Bug Launcher. That's right, 62 rocket launchers firing multiples in a wide birth net to capture the Devastator gunships in a devastating chain reaction of explosions. And this attack would act as a net, preceding their anchored position above the bridge. Should the ships somehow survive that attack, well, the Vong would adapt as they are not ones to sit idle against the fire of blasphemous weapons. Water shifts as it approaches stone, this would be no different. Along with that, the area was danger close...aerial attacks were close enough to damage the republic soldiers now.

Now, the tanks did their fair share. Plunging another solid 30 Vong into the depths of Vongy hell. But not before they pulled very important weapons from their back, launching squirmy beasts like frisbees over what barricades their were. There aim, the tanks that fired upon them and killed them. What they threw? Singularity mines, aimed for the locations of the tanks. Upon impact, or more proximity, they would open like dovin basals, forming small black holes to suck in everything within vicinity into them. And for the remaining proud warrior Vongs, they would run over the corpses of their fallen breathren and bash against what remained of the temporary defensive emplacements. From their hands, they launched in unison a deluge of Blorash Jelly upon the defenses, over the barricades. Either it would hit the republic defenses and eat at the flesh, or it would force the defenses into the newly minted black holes. Either was fine for them, they were warriors after all. Death is death in a sense. And of course, should the defenses break and charge the Vong, they would meet angry men upon hard armor and amphistaffs.

PC - Kana Truden - Reverance

Gabriel wasn't one to relent. If anything, he was for the notion of teaching that when you offer a Sith an inch, he would do everything he could to take the mile. This was no different and he would show that with the progression of steps, following the back step of the Jedi Knight with his own forward movement. Through the peripheries, Gabriel would note the sacrifice of footing for the block, a mistake born from a lack of center. A simple block and dodge would have provided the same results without the costs of showing vulnerability. She would have the opportunity to readjust her footing and prepare herself, but that was rather all, as he closed the distance in pace with her backstep. He wasn't one to give leeway if it wasn't first taken.

With saber held in right hand, he struck out in similarity to the initial attack, looking to clip the left elbow of the Jedi Knight with the blood red beam, swinging from his outside right side inward. However, as the saber came within a couple of inches, he extinguished the saber. Popping his elbow inward, drawing the saber to his own center just in front of his body, his left palm pushed at the base of the hilt and the blade reignited, looking to stab Kana at the center of her core, inches below the xiphoid process. The attack was grounded harshly in a stomp of the right foot as he put power and weight into the attack. Of course, he amassed the force, remaining ever speculative of the world around him and employing the fine nuances of Shatterpoint to grasp at the cords of potential futures. Employed on himself, he looked for the weaknesses that would spell his own demise. Preventative maintenance, as it were.
