The comm channel lingered open for some time, interrupted only by the occasional sound of a soldier's last ditch attempt to request reinforcements moments before the abhorrent calling of death answered their pleas. Lowering her arm disappointedly, Sera shook her head. Damnit, what is going on? I can't get anyone on the line... It was well past time to act, and there was no way she was going to let a potentially deciding moment in this war pass her by while she remained idle with so much at stake. With a quick glance back to [member="Odeyseis"] and [member="Slate Estrada"] she shouted "I am going to run a check on the edge of the line. It is far too quiet here and I don't like the thought of what that might mean."

Breaking away from the group Sera headed toward the streets, leaping over debris and fallen trees, pausing whenever she saw a fallen soldier or civilian, hoping to find something more than a lifeless body. Unfortunately she found nothing but misery and despair with each collective casualty. Why? I don't understand the unyielding thirst for destruction and chaos. Why must the Sith slaughter and murder by the thousands? It makes no sense at all. These people, they didn't deserve this. This is....Insanity. Can there be no lasting peace? Must we be forced to endure the pain of rebuilding each and every time, only to have it ripped from our grasp and turned to ash before our eyes as quickly as the grains of sand drift across the windswept desert? There must be an end to this. Are we truly so different that this is our only course of action? Endless war?

Her stomach began to turn with each new thought that sprang into her mind as she proceeded along her path. She wasn't entirely sure where exactly it was she was going, but she felt the need to do something, anything, even if it was nothing more than rescuing the wounded. As she approached one of the buildings close to the generator building on the outskirts of Ahto North, she heard a distinct scream followed by eerie silence that symbolized but one thing: a lightsaber. Quickly she approached the entryway to the facility, the door lingering on its hinges, prepared to collapse at any moment. Creeping into the building, covered in ash and soot from the mortar shells that had blown out a chunk of the building as well as the entire front facing glass windows, she discovered the bodies of two republic soldiers, and a ventilation grate between them. Wounds clearly indicating that of a lightsaber, She knew there was someone about.

Quietly Sera navigated the interior of the complex which appeared to be a power plant or station of some sort, perhaps what supplied energy to the majority of the city, whereas the the generators main purpose was keeping the city itself afloat. Regardless, she focused on locating whoever, or whatever was in here with her. Further down the hall she heard the faint scream of more men being cut down. Without a moment's hesitation she raced toward the sound, lifting her sabers from her belt with a small flicker of force power, her arms draped downward and behind her as she ran, blades still sheathed. Her footsteps were quiet as she ran, though the tile made a soft echo that trailed behind her as she continued on her path. Determined to right the wrongs of these cynical murders, she approached a dark hooded female, her lightsaber in hand, having been freshly utilized in what could only be another batch of senseless murder.

Sera looked at the bodies of the men as she got closer, and back to the hooded woman. Her blood was nearly boiling at the sight. "STOP IT! NOW!" Nearly able to taste the emotion on her lips as she shouted, she immediately activated both her purple and green lightsabers, entering into her Ataru form, with a single blade raised above her head, the other diagonally up and across her torso as she continued shouting, "IS THIS WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A SITH? NOTHING MORE THAN A VILE, WRETCHED, MURDERER?" Taking a breath, she attempted to calm herself, despite her desire to simply disembowel the human before her. "You come here to cause nothing but sorrow and pain? Look at you, what is your name? You look barely an adult by your human's standards, and yet here you stand, ready to take the lives of anyone and everyone, for what? Because you are told to? The five men you've just slain, their deaths make you feel powerful? They've done nothing to deserve the fate you've handed them. Surrender now, it's not too late."

The Jedi danced out of the wide measure with something that was more likely to be featured in one of Coruscant's great opera houses than on the battlefield, but its effectiveness couldn't be denied. Vrag herself preferred less show and more efficacy to her movement, especially if she knew that the fight ahead could very quickly turn into a long one. Still, if the knight was intent on wasting energy and breaking tempo... who was she to oppose her?

She caught the obvious gesture of her adversary's hand with the corner of her eye just in time to duck the first few rocks, only to feel the Jedi's lightsaber connect with her back. The blow didn't hit full-on, but rather glanced off the plates of her armor, shoving Vrag forward. She turned the movement into an awkward tumble, gritting her teeth when she felt something pop in her shoulder. The Sith found purchase against one of the many pieces of ruined machinery and infrastructure littering their surroundings and sent back a Force push with a mighty kick, using the rest of her momentum to land back on her feet.

Listening to the statement that the jedi made Xilo simply shrugged his one good shoulder the other the feeling barely coming back into it. "Hey I just wanted to save the best moment for last. Isn't that how this works. DArk room? Me and you? A night of passion and blades crashing?" Stopping for a moment Xilo thought about what he had said and just how wrong it sounded. "Um can we scratch that one from the record? I don't swing that way so I don't want you getting any ideas... OR is that what you want?" Xilo asked and acting as though he had been offended and his arm crossed his chest.

Even with all of his joking around and his maniac ways Xilo was being somewhat true to his person. Whether people realized it or not. He had been through alot of mental trauma that had made him this way and he didn't hide it. Returning his arm to the starting position the lightsaber pointed to the ground at a angle he smiled. "Well I made the first move last time. It's your turn."

Taeli frowned as her assault only impacted against the shields of the Warhammer Star Destroyer, causing the ripple effects. That simply would not do, they needed to destroy this ship, take away one of the Republic's heavy ships.

"All weapons, concentrate fire upon Warhammer," she ordered and more green flashes from the turbolasers, blue energy streaks from the ion cannons, and missiles headed towards the Warhammer that was currently beginning an attack on the Immortal. The lights dimmed again as power was diverted to the hypervelocity cannon again.

"Comms, inform Knight Tyrin that we need to concentrate our assaults, that Republic fleet must be destroyed," she said, a salute the answer she received. She also directed that half a squadron of fighter craft, the few Wrath-class Starfighters she had ordered brought abroad a Razer, to launch and assist the ground assault to stop any Republic bomber runs on them. It wouldn't do to allow such a thing to continue.

Turning back to the viewport, she awaited to see the results of her attacks.

Summary:
Launched further assaults on the Warhammer (long-range turbolaser and ion shots, missiles)
Ordered six Wrath-class Starfighters to launch to the surface to stop Republic bombing runs on Sith ground troop positions

After clearing out Silk Holdings, Viktor went over to assist one of his teammates who was fighting a jedi, who in turn had some people coming to back him up. He walked towards where he felt the pair were, carrying a sample of pure undiluted kolto that he stole from the samples. The invasion seemed essentially over, they had killed many and had got essentially all of the kolto that they needed. Now all they had to do was kill whoever was left standing.

On board the Adamant, Captain Gates could see a burst of debris come from his lower decks as the enemy boarded.
“All marines and security personnel, form up in lower sectors. Seal all blast doors near incursion and prepare to repel boarders!”
The Redoubt class carried several hundred crew who were trained for combat in some form. Some of these were part of the passengers contingent and were actual marines, the rest being crew trained as security officers or crew with some military experience. These now converged in squads on the lower reaches, in defence positions around the invader’s breach. Each fighter had theirlight combat suits, rebreathers and weapons ready. Since some of the Vong attackers had been slain or disabled by the fighter’s strafing runs, the attackers would be outnumbered, but likely superior in quality.
Neither side would find it easy to win the boarding action.

Meanwhile the initial fleet pushed on, moving behind the Sith armada. All fighters were launched and the Adamant’s craft now ferociously attacked the coralskippers trying to protect the shuttles. In all fifty two interceptors would be confronting a single squadron of Vong fighters. This might end a rather one sided battle!

The Liberator, the Metellos class Frigate, launched its five squadrons of fighters and kept them as an offensive screen. The other corvettes launched their fighters, but kept them in close to their parent ships.
The initial fleet then began a bombardment on the Razer class frigates standing as flak guards, specifically focussing fire onto the Wake and Tombstone. These frigates, poorly armed to fight back, would eventually either be driven back or mangled by the gunnery levelled against them, if no proactive action was taken.

XXX

For the main Republic fleet, they had gotten through the bombardment at long range quite handily. Now it was time for the main batteries to do their work.
However, the Admiral had one final plan to put into operation. He had been puzzled by the lack of enemy fire from the Immortal, but his scanners had shown a massive power drain. Something very nasty was being prepared, that was certain.
“All ships, steep descent, twenty degrees now!”
What this meant was that as the Republic ships approached they dipped down below the flat plane, planning to move underneath the Immortal and Dark Blades. Because of the way all the Republic ships were configured all their guns would therefore be available to fire up into the bottom of the Immortal. Being as it was 1800m long, 2000m wide and quite slow, it’d be a perfect target.
Of course, the Immortal could track the MC180, but as it was as slow and cumbersome as a bantha it would likely find it exceptionally difficult to do so, or to fire back as most of its weapons were on the front.
Meanwhile the Avenger’s 5 heavy hypervelocity cannons, heavy and regular turbo and ion cannon batteries, 700 capital guns equivalent, was poured into the Immortal.
The Warhammer, with its batteries of heavy and regular turbolaser and ion cannon batteries was also there.
And of course there was the MC180. With *Octuple barbette turbolasers: 10, *Octuple barbette ion cannons: 10, *Heavy turbolaser batteries: 80, *Medium turbolaser batteries: 80 and *Ion cannons: 30 it had more firepower than either of the two Star Destroyers combined, all of it aimed directly at the bottom of the Immortal.
Redundant shields, armour, or whatever else, that Sith Command ship was bound to have a very, very bad day.

Fighters launching from the main Republic fleet’s escorts took advantage of this opening of hostilities to begin an onslaught against the fighters defending the Immortal.
In all, 104 fighters would be sent in this wave, accompanying the Jedi Starfighters in their attack. The Ebbing Heart would reserve its fighters, and the bombers would be held back for an opportunity.

XXX

Things were not going quite so well for the isolated Cornet. With only limited anti-fighter defences, it found itself being hammered by first fighters, then bombers.
Still, it managed to avoid being wiped out in the first pass, but was still badly damaged. One more run by the bombers and fighters and it would be all over for Commander Dale and her brave crew….
Hopefully they managed to shoot down some bombers though.

SUMMARY:
  • 150 well-armed marines and soldiers prepared to resist attackers on the Adamant. Additional 50-100 lighter armed and trained crew as a reserve. This crew is ready with rebreathers, and blast doors are sealed where possible.
  • Initial fleet has moved behind the Sith, and is now firing on Wake and Tombstone.
  • All fighters launched, but left as screen to protect against counter attacks and to watch for more shuttles…they don’t know if there’s more, but it’s a good bet there are.
  • Main Republic fleet has shifted course to move down under the flat plane and under the Immortal. All Republic guns can and are firing at the bottom of the Immortal. This likely will make it very hard for the Immortal to track with its own weapons as they are on the front.
  • Camellia Swift will determine damage done to the Ebbing Heart.

In a blink of an eye, the female Sith that Odeyseis warned to give up was in the air, bringing down her red lightsabers down to slash the knight. Normally he would avoid the attacks, but this was the first time that Odeyseis duel with someone with high speed. Instead, Odeyseis used his lightsaber to protect himself from the incoming attack. When Odeyseis looked at the woman's face, he saw a very familiar face. "Kaira!?" said the Sentinel in astonishment to see her beloved, dead friend's face. Odeyseis pushed her away using his lightsaber in pain because of his memories of the past. Seeing again how his clan mates were slaughtered, how the one he loved died on his arms.

Trying to regain his senses, Odeyseis took another look at the Sith's face, doing an effort to observe her closely. "Impossible. She died." Memories were haunting him, pain was taking over him. "Your face... Your skin... Your hair is almost like her's." Oh, how much he wished that she would be alive. He grasped as hard as he could to his lightsaber, trying to take the Makashi form too and to read again his opponent's movement. The knight gazed again at the Sith's face, still looking Kaira's face and continued: "But you, the Sith, killed her..." He blinked and saw her opponent's face again then spoke to her: "If you are not Kaira, then who are you?" How much he was wishing that she would be Kaira, but deep inside he knew that she was not, he needed to hear another name.

He then extended his palm and used Force Push on his foe to give him more space between them, like that it would be easier for the Sentinel to read her movements and react with enough time for the Jedi, but still he was in disadvantage because of his memories of the past haunting him, distracting him.

(Boarding was pre-arranged)

It was time.

Fighters surged forward, most of them quite a bit slower than Lira and her fellow Jedi. She let them go first. It was a cruel and very un-Jedi like tactic, but it was necessary. She had to make, they had to make it, and they wouldn't if they went first.

The wave of fighter surged forward to begin engaging the Sith around the Immortal, and on their tale came the Jedi J-1's. The ships ducked, dodged, dived, and cut their way through space like fish moving through water, thrusters blazing and wings tipping at the drop of a hat. They moved fast, faster than any targeting computer or human eye could catch. Thrice Lira had a Sith attempt catch onto her tail and fire, but the J-1 simply outpaced the Sith's inferior fighter, going faster, or simply moving in such a way that the Sith couldn't follow.

Over and over again the J-1 weaved and turned in different directions, cutting through the Sith fleet, passed The Immortal and instead towards the Phobos.

The massively ugly Yuuzhan Vong vessel lumbered in space, held in place by huge tendrils. She scowled as she saw it and called out over to her fellow Jedi. Stay on target, ignore the enemy and get to those hangar bays.

They all listened, they all obeyed.

The J-1's cut through fighter after fighter, surging past Razer Anti-Fighter frigates and dodging through wave after wave of laser fire. Cuts and spurs of red would strike her J-1, grazing and marring the green metal, but the ship continued to push on. She screamed as her J-1 ducked beneath the Phobos catching sight of one of the massive carriers hangar bays.

“Now!” Concentrated laser fire erupted from the twin canons of her. Bright blue cut through fleshy sinew that was held in place over the hangar, slicing through it and causing the vacuum of space to rip the inside of the Hangar Bay.

Lira punched it.

The J-1 shot forward with after-burners engaged, pushing the ships engines to the maximum. At first only the single green fighter breached the inside of the hangar, then a second, then a third, four of the nine fighters that had left the Republic fleet came to a sudden and jarring halt within the Phobos' aft Hangar bay, making scraping noises as it tore into the coral floor of the Hangar Bay.

Before the J-1 even came to a rest Lira popped the hatch, jumping from her cockpit with saber-staff and lightwhip ignited, swiping at the nearest Yuuzhan Vong.

The Jedi was not a foreigner to the whisperings of a dark voice. She had been touched by such murmurs and thoughts since she was eighteen — only recently liberated following the invasion of Alderaan. The promises of darkness being a conquering ultimatum fell on deaf ears. She’d conquered darkness. She continued to stave it off, and from her Order. Cleansing and redeeming when the choice sanctioned the opportunity. She was a warrior for choice, for the power of decisions to be in the hands of those affected.

“You’re mislead in my motivations, Zambrano.” The girl commented, sliding to the side after dodging what would have been a fatal cleave. It had taken less than a handful of moments for her to realize the Force was her greatest ally, but right now it was her greatest weakness. This was quickly ascertained from the amount of energy it was taking to merely be stronger than the dark lord. Nimbleness would have to be her beneficiary instead. “I don’t just fight for one side to conquer the other — that is an endless war. You’re just as partial to your beliefs as I am.” That was point blank. The reality of it. He had been indoctrinated by evil, she had been exposed to light-sided propaganda — but in her heart, mind, and soul, she believed that suffering was not the path to victory. She was a warrior of the light for the longterm. “I’m fighting for people to have their freedom of choice. Volition is not in vanity.”

Kiskla wasn’t a naturally emotional person. She considered it a weakness not only as a Jedi, but as a person. The vying of the dark lord to give into her rage only irritated her, rather than caused a swelling revelation that she’d been blind all along. A grunt emitted as she bent backwards, dodging a swipe meant for her chest. Big steps lead her backwards and righting herself once more. The haunting voice echoed on the cusp of her mind while the screams all around continued, muted by the roar of the hungry leviathan. That roar gave her an idea — considering it’s magnitude and driving force. Glass was shattering, people fleeing (good). The sheer volume of energy behind that throaty war was enough to knock someone off their hinges. This was just like when Shinju, the energy sucker, had attacked her on Teta. She’d overloaded the woman, and she’d just have to try that again. Her fingertips tingled with this new idea as she brought her blade up again for a war between blue and red. She shifted her body slightly to counter the next strike with her arm rather than her blade. This meant that her bent elbow absorbed his blow — teeth grit — and colourful bits of plasma exploded form her cortisis gauntlets. It also put her hand in close proximity to his face — and from that hand, a culminated development of electric judgement belched forward and toward the dark lord’s helmeted face. She couldn’t hold it for much longer, not so near to him anyways with the sensation of The Force dripping away from her. Her fingers quivered with intensity as white tendrils curled about her phalanges, spreading up her arm as she dropped to give herself more room to move and avoid any more pending attacks. His armour was similar to that of Coruscant, she’d assessed that from her acute observations. What though— she wasn’t too sure of until she had gotten so close. Her blades snapped to her hips, clipping quickly as both hands reached out to grab the wrists of her adversary. The amount of energy she'd just expelled, coupled with her traditionally rapid motions was making her a little woozier than usual. Palms stretched over the thick lower arm of her assailant, wincing at the perceived wingspan and how vulnerable she could potentially be making herself. But she needed the nearness — and she couldn’t be near to him with those energy-suckers on his person. The Force was not her friend right now, in fact it tried to sneak away from her while she vyed for it, reaching for a delicate point in the gauntlets to expose their (hopefully) brittle nature. Crack, snap.

When their lightsabers clash as she falls down at him from above, Bellona flips backwards and lands gracefully on her feet. It was he brandished his saber at her that she saw the clear distress on his face. Her face contorted into a wicked, curling grin for a single moment before she changed her expression back to it's expressionless mask. "How delightful," she whispered very softly to herself so that he wouldn't overhear her. If she played this right, she could twist and pull on the jedi's heartstrings until he was nothing more than a pathetic emotional heap. As she opened her mouth the respond, she felt an incoming force push. As it came into contact with her, she braced herself and somersaulted backwards. His emotions betrayed him in every way and it would be the reason why he would know defeat today.

"I'm afraid your kaira is dead. Don't fret. I'm sure you'll be joining her very soon," Bellona said as she changed into an Ataru stance and flew at him again. Her blades were pointed at both his head and chest. A she flew, she took notice of a few tiny pebbles on the floor and shot them up at his eyes.

Varus watched Xilo closely and carefully making sure that he wasn't trying to play any more games. Still, he continued to act so eccentric and odd, at least to him. For Xilo it was perhaps perfectly normal, despite the ridiculous things he was saying, and furthermore suggesting.

None of this bothered Varus, though, because he knew the man he was and what mission he'd agreed to take on that day. The protection of the people of Manaan was his biggest and only priority, and that meant turning men like Xilo away, or even taking his life of he was given no other choice. He had to protect their precious Kolto, however, and he'd die before they gave up and allowed the Sith to steal away and ruin yet another planet.

Varus plucked the saber from his right hip and held it tightly in his right hand. He didn't ignite the saber just yet, though he was well aware he'd have to before long. In fact, he'd been about to respond as their duel got under way again when they were interrupted by another. A young man with dark hair arrived, and it was clear by his aura and dress that he was no friend to Varus. That was why, as the man arrived, Varus grabbed his second saber and took it in his left hand. He then ignited them both, the tips of the blades hanging down at his sides pointed towards the floor as Varus finally replied.

"Not to worry. I have one for each of you.", he said as he raised either of his hands and crossed both burning violet blades over one another, his icy blue gaze watching Xilo through the purple light that encompassed his form.

A laser streaked from behind Varus missing him, a beam cannon blast aimed only to intimidate, not to kill. "It would seem you have miscalculated, my friend." Viktor was on a railing significantly above the two combatants overlooking their combat, he would provide a rain of beam fire so as to prevent Varus from having much room to use while he was fighting Xilo. The Beam cannon would minimize the area that Varus could fight on. Viktor had plenty of time to toy around with this young padawan, a personal hobby of his. Viktor loved seeing the young and virile be worn out into naught but a thin reflection of their old selves, a problem Viktor would never have.

Standing with her eyes closed and her hand holding firm to her powered down lightsaber, she inhaled the death energies of the recently slain. Those highly trained Republic soldiers who were presented to be the best of the best in terms of military might, according to some circles in the galaxy, never stood a chance. If that was the amount of their military training, then it was no wonder they lost some much in the war. If the stories of their bravery were suppose to be true, then why did they offer up pleas of mercy rather than accept their death with pride? But she was merciful. She killed them quickly rather than using some of the more unique torture methods she had witnessed at the hands of the Lords. They were quite impressive when they exercised their brutality. One day she hoped she could learn from them or kill them for their secrets of the Dark Side. Then she felt it. Light Side energy. Jedi! Today would long be remembered.

A small frown emerged on her face when the Jedi sought to exchange words rather than exchange skills of combat. Xhexania listened with impatience while the Jedi sought to scorn the Sith. Only a Jedi would exercise ignorance of the unknown. How could this Jedi possibly know or even comprehend what it meant to be a Sith? Jedi killed countless times but wrapped their murders with phrases such as 'for the greater good of the galaxy', 'to maintain the balance of peace', and 'to ensure the safety of the citizens of the galaxy.' Hypocrites!

Without turning around to face the Jedi, Xhexania said, "I sense you are angry with me, Jedi. Perhaps your Master should have taught you to restrain such a powerful emotion. Anger can lead to hate and hate will lead you to the Dark Side. I can feel your hatred toward me but why? Oh, these soldiers....your friends? Guilty."
Laughing as she turned around, the young Sith stared into the eyes of the Jedi with pure and calculated hatred. "You might find this to be a shocking revelation but I hate your Order. I hate your Order's sanctimonious views of the galaxy. I hate your Order's misconstrued views of the Sith. I hate your Order's poor judgment of right and wrong, good and evil. I hate how your Order teaches the Force should be used only one way, their way...their flooded concepts of what the Force is. Most of all, I hate how they seek to dominate and restrain one from reaching one's true potential filling heads with lies, horror stories of the Dark Side, and glorifying their hypocritical teachings!"

Mentally calculating her foe, Xhexania wondered if this Jedi was deserving of knowing her name. What purpose would it serve this Jedi to know her name when she would not live long enough to speak it to others. Foolish Jedi! Why did this Jedi wish to talk rather than fight? Then it occurred to her and yet again she laughed. "I can see your hesitation in your stance which tells me that you are exhibiting feelings of fear and doubt. As well you should. You would seek to capture me where as I seek to destroy you. One's own death is hard to accept....especially when death merely stands a few yards from you. Xhexania....that is my name, Jedi. Do you see strings dangling from my arms? Of course not. Unlike you Jedi, the Sith preach individualism." Xhexania raises her right brow. "Do you have knowledge of that word, Jedi? Wait....Jedi are not taught to think for themselves, to be an individual! So, how does it feel Jedi to be told what to do....how to think? So do not pretend to understand why we...I kill. But if you must know, I kill for survival. Threaten my survival....my individualism....my freedom and my blade will answer with action, not a threat. And if the moment moves me, then I kill when instructed to."

Pulling back the hood of her cloak with her right hand, she presses the stud on her hilt. The crimson tongue flickers the air tasting it for prey while Xhexania begins to gormandize the Dark Side energy around her. The time had finally came at last. Her chance to kill a Jedi was within her grasp. "If you wish to flee now I will not pursue you or hold it against you, Jedi. Instead....I'll hunt down your Jedi friends and kill them."

Xilo had no clue who the newcomer was as he looked the man... Cyborg up and down but from the way it seemed he was on Xilo's side. So turning and looking at the jedi Xilo made a tsk tsk sound with his mouth. "Seems as though we have a new participant." Xilo commented and began using the distraction given to him by the newcomer Xilo smiled rushing forward completely taking back what he said about letting the jedi having the first move. Moving in to seem like he was about to come in with a stab to the jedi's center Xilo quickly changed direction and drug the saber against the ground and brought it up sending the hot metal pieces from the floor at the jedi before quickly spinning back outside of the jedi's lightsaber range trying to keep just enough distance between them Xilo would then begin to walk clockwise around the jedi striking the lightsaber against the ground sending piece after piece of heated metal at the jedi. There was no remorse in the Sith's eyes as he more then glady was willing to work with someone else to defeat the jedi. The faster they finished meant the faster they could move on.

Varus wasn't fazed by the new arival. Beams and other projectiles could always be blocked and deflected by a lightsaber, of which he had two. He wasn't pleased, however, when Xilo dashed towards him, feigning attack only to flick hot, steel shards at him by scraping his saber across the ground.

The moment he realized what was happening he raised either of his arms in defense of his face, catching the hot pieces of metal across his arms and sleeves. He then dashed backwards, hissing softly as he lowered his arms, the smell of his own burned skin filling his nostrils as he realized just how easily the pieces of metal had gone through the fabric of his sleeves. They cooled quickly after coming into contact with his skin, but they still burned like hell.

The next moment, Varus began walking in the same clockwise circle around Xilo, backing up a step or so now and again as he avoided the rain of hot metal, an onslaught that Xilo seemed to prefer. As they sized one another up, Varus waited for Xilo to slash his saber at the floor again, and when he did Varus drew his left arm across his chest, raring back. He then flung his arm back around in the opposite direction, throwing the saber in his left hand at Xilo.

The next second he dashed forward towards Xilo, taking his other saber in both hands, waiting for his moment. He was sure that Xilo would dodge his spinning hot blade, which was his plan. His true target was the Kolto tank behind Xilo, which would shatter and release gallons of Kolto at the back of the Sith's legs, hopefully sweeping Xilo off of his feet and giving Varus the chance at a duel ending blow.

"Bring our ship down as the Admiral ordered, and put word to our squadrons to shift their position so that they form a screen around the capital ships of our formation. If they're all just around us they leave the Admiral's vessel and the Avenger open." Well the Admiral was right about most of the fleet being able to fire on the Immortal even though they dipped below, except the Warhammer's broadside guns couldn't hit that angle ahead of the ship, not that they would have been able to anyway in a forward assault. So it was fine either way as the Rendili Destroyer continued its barrage on the enemy flagship, the upper turbolasers and ion cannons firing from the long range guns as the array of Quad weapons along the front of the ship, similar in style to the Hammerhead Cruisers of old, waited for the opportunity to unleash their own firepower on the Sith as well.

Camellia had to admit that Stahlmann was an apt commander, his maneuver had spared her ship taking the brunt of another enemy barrage luckily enough (and this isn't an excuse to explain my unreasonably lucky dice roll) as they dove downwards as the enemy's final long range barrage passed over them. The blows The Ebbing Heart suffered could barely be called a true damaging strike. They were lucky, but the Cornet was not. Camellia grimaced and felt a pang in her chest knowing Commander Dale and her crew were in such danger, she hoped they would abandon the vessel, at least as many as they could, and survive.

Either way the Sith would pay, and that payment came now.

"All forward turbolasers fire! Have all Quad Cannon Emplacements burn them down! Helm I want the power from the compartments powered down and closed up earlier diverted to the shields or engines on my mark as I see fit. If push comes to shove I'm willing to take a gamble for the sake of crushing this filth here and now." Not bothering watch as streams of energy burst and filled the display of the view screen as the Quad Cannons joined the long ranged guns at last, Camellia watched the sensor display from her place on the bridge, tracking the Jedi and starfighter squadrons advance along with the rest of the dots and symbols representing so many lives as they blinked. . . .and then faded away for both sides.

Summary
-Dived down with Republic Fleet
-Took hits from the Sith Darkblades. . . .again
-Fired majority of long range turbolaser and ion cannons along with most forward Quad Guns at the Immortal since we're now in range yay!!
75/100

Viktor was impressed with both of their fighting, but even moreso with the Jedi's way of manipulating where the fight would be. Viktor never trusted the competence of his allies, so he decided to take the fight into his own hands. He shot another beam at Varus and then shouted to Xilo. "Block it you fool, he is aiming for the kolto tank." He could tell that his ally had the savagery necessary to beat the Jedi, but his shortsight was his critical thinking. But with Viktor telling him what to do and warning him, the battle would be theirs. A smile crept on his face as he knew the Jedi would soon begin to struggle.

"Maintain firing position, angle down to bring forward batteries to bare on the Warhammer class." Ordered Melkaroth. "Prepare to go to full reverse if they get any closer, and request that the rest of the fleet does the same." Melkaroth was going to maintain long range for as long as possible, as he knew that Republic vessels were comparatively weaker at this distance. In any case, he'd rather fall b back to the anvil than let the hammer strike. "Balance out power to shields and engines. All weapons, fire at will."

The lights dimmed as the hyper-velocity gun fired yet another volley, this time at a vessel it was designed to destroy. The main batteries then opened up on the lone enemy ship, saturating it with fire.

Summary:

Fired all weapons on the Warhammer Class
Weapons, shields and engines now at 100% power

Done. Done. Donedonedone. Wringing her hands over a frustrated growl, the Healer spun on her heel and began heading away from Hal, down the hall towards the Library entrance, blue robes winging after her, "Why do you always have to so fething difficult?!"

Xilo crouched his knees his eyes narrowing as he was about to jump out of the way of the saber but the warning from his ally changed his mind completely. So changing tactics Xilo would lean backwards letting the blade pass over him but not before he'd raise his blade to cut the hilt in half to deactivate the blade. The heat from the jedi's saber was great as just a bit of it burnt Xilo's stomach. His flesh singed off by the saber. Thats when he would take his chance cutting the weapon in half putting his own spin on the advice that was given to him. Continuing with the lean Xilo would push off the ground and sending him into a backflip to get himself out of the jedi's reach where he would stand his blade at the ready to block attacks. Xilo didn't even notice that the bottom half of his shirt was now singed off. The little show allowed the jedi to see the scars that crossed Xilo's body as well as the burn marks. Xilo's history was literally etched upon himself. Using the chance Xilo would then reach back as though he were about to knock up more metal but he'd release the saber. Green blade spinning through the air Xilo would grab two razor bugs from his bandoleer tossing them at the jedi before catching the saber by the hilt though this time it was in a back handed hold the blade facing behind Xilo's back as though he were going on the defensive.
