Invasion I'm On A Boat [OS-Republic Invasion of Manaan]

Miss Blonde

Trying to be straight in a crooked Galaxy
Location: Republic Defensive Line West side
Objective: Final Stand
Allies: [member="Nefertari Sovint"] [member="Korsan Rung"] [member="Darth Inferno"] [member="The Shadow King"]

The thud bugs and other blast bombs hit republic defenses hard, luckily the men were behind cover to defend the generator and only took minor losses. A few deployable pieces of cover exploded when the beetles contacted and the republic had lost a solid ten men on the field. Patricia could see that the blasters were proving ineffective against the assault that was a wall of crab armored Yuuzhan Vong. Her pistol barked a few times and dropped a couple Vong, but for the most part the men were equipped with blaster rifles that could not handle the armor. But the Vong were going to pay for their charge rather than pushing up in bounding leaps of fire and small squads. The Vong had boxed themselves in at closer quarters than what would of been smart. They may have factored in the tanks that would destroy the front line but they however did not see the Devastator gunships that circled overhead. The little agent woman grabbed a canister of orange smoke to signal the birds above and to highlight targets for the tanks. The ten tanks shifted their fire to the wall of Vong and simply began to destroy it in a continuous fire of shells and heavy fire. Above the gunships screeched down and fired off dozens of missiles on the bridge that was enough fire power to put it bluntly, kill every last Yuuzhan Vong in that formation. The other who had not joined would live but the ones were were foolish enough to charge a heavily fortified area with air support and tanks were dead from the get go. The results of the strike would render a halt In the Yuuzhan Vong offensive and force them to rethink their tactics. A plus for effort though, Patricia would give them that.

The tanks however after the air strike would not stop firing. The republic infantry as well would keep firing to kill off any of the wounded if there were any. The republic was done running and falling back, it was hold them off here or die. Patricia looked to see the wounded and dead from Vong's initial strike, "Medics!!" She yelled and the teams began to clear republic lines of the casualties to keep the men's heads clear and distracted from mounting dead. The woman bit her lip in dread of what was happening beyond the line, the Jedi did not fall back with her and they were still out there battling the sith in an area that was with no doubt being swarmed by Yuuzhan Vong and sith troopers. The woman waited for the smoke to clear from the attack but she didn't have time for that. A large blast fired from something whirled through the smoke and hit a auto turret on the bridge. The gun in placement went off with a huge woosh of flames and sparks and died out. Patricia cursed and knew they had set up long range defenses of their own. An air strike would only get shot down. So it was up to men on the ground to take it out.

Lifting up her comm unit the woman sounded on a open frequency, republic comms were down and this was here only option to the west side who had stayed behind [member="Nefertari Sovint"] [member="Korsan Rung"] [member="The Shadow King"].

"If you can hear me right now, the republic defense needs you. There is an enemy walker a few hundred meters from our location. We can not hit it from our current location but they can hit us. If you are out there you are our only hope of survival. We don't have much time, the Vong will regroup and counter attack soon. If you can hear this message the fate of Ahto city is in your hands. The walker is coming down the main road of the bridge to the generator. It's the only street big enough to give it room. I repeat you are our only hope." The message shorted out and Patricia reloaded her weapon preparing for what was going to be a counter attack by the Vong more than likely. They had lost a lot of men and with the incoming walkers the sith would have the advantage of that heavy armor. So Patricia spaced out her tanks the best she could around the west side of the facility and did the best she could. Hopefully someone would stop [member="Ludolf Vaas"] and his walkers before it was too late.

TLDR
Lost ten to twenty men in the initial Vong volley of bugs

Bombed the crap out of the incoming Vong charge more than likely killing the entire formation with the combined air and tank fire

Ludolf's walkers destroyed a few auto turrets to help cripple defenses

Patricia sent out a message on an open channel to help take out incoming walkers

The order came. Sabena gripped the controls of her starfighter tightly. She followed just behind [member="Lira Dajenn"]’s spacecraft. Her hands still shook.

Phobos. The name of the monstrosity of a ship rang through Sabena’s head. She knew that the Yuuzhan Vong were heavily resistant to the Force.

Just as Lira shot through the breach she had created in the side of the starship, Sabena rushed through it along with Lira as fast as she could. The hull scraped against the Yuuzhan Vong ship’s hangar bay. Damage indicators blinked red and alarms blared within Sabena’s cockpit. She only emerged once the ship came to a full stop - unlike how Lira just leaped out as soon as she was able to.

Once the canopy of her cockpit blasted away from her, Sabena stood up. She panned her head around the hangar bay and took in her surroundings. The walls and floor had almost a fleshy texture - yet were as tough and hard as metal. Yuuzhan Vong littered the way to hallways that lead further into the ship. The Force had dulled within the cavernous hangar of the starship.

Standing upright, Sabena drew the hilt of her lightsaber. She was still - unshaking. She would have been little help to Lira if she allowed fear to take root within her. She looked to Lira as she lashed out against the Yuuzhan Vong. She jumped off her starfighter. Yuuzhan Vong had begun focusing mostly on Lira and other Jedi nearby. Sabena landed on the floor with what might seemingly be without a sound. Her green lightsaber ignited - the hiss most likely drowned out by the growing chaotic cacophony surrounding her.

It took just a few seconds for Sabena to run toward Lira. Her steps possibly appeared to be extremely soft - gliding almost so that they would not make a hard impact against the floor.

A Yuuzhan Vong attempted to flank Lira. Just in time, Sabena managed to lunch forward and block the Yuuzhan Vong’s attempted strike against Lira. Another Jedi companion noticed this and quickly gave the killing blow against the Yuuzhan Vong.

Sabena watched the life of this creature fade away before her.

Yet, she did not dawdle for long. She took up a defensive stance next to Lira - hoping to follow her lead.

At your side, Knight Dajenn,” she announced, with a gentle smile, just loud enough for Lira to hear.

And, again, in a blink of an eye, the Sith jumped again, but this time she used the Force to do something that Odeyseis have not expected, nor could he had expected. Dust and tiny rocks went to Odeyseis' eyes, making him flinch and to jump away from where he was standing and, at the same time, using his lightsaber to slash in front of him, not because it was method he used to get away, but he did it on pure instinct.

But he was too slow for the woman. His defensive slash made one of the sabers of the Sith to clash and bump away from the Jedi, but the other saber pierced through Odeyseis' shoulder as he crouched and leaned a little to the side to jump. A scream of pain came out from his mouth and used the Force again to push her away, again, on pure instinct. The pain made to regain his senses, he couldn't move his right shoulder without feeling a lot of pain. Odeyseis jumped back and used Force Heal on his wound. The Sentinel landed, he was still a little blinded because of the pebbles and started to use Force Sense which allowed to see and feel his dueling enemy even without the use of his eyes. As Odeyseis stood up he took out the submachine gun using telekinesis and shouted to her: "Definitely, you are not Kaira. She will not use dirty moves to blind his opponents, like you did." Indeed, it was dirty for him to blind his opponent, he preferred that in a duel can only be used lightsabers and the Force and rely on skill only, but then again he realized that this was a harsh galaxy.

By using telekinesis, Odeyseis pull the trigger of the submachine gun pointing at the brown skinned Sith until the clip was empty. At the same time Odeyseis ran to his right then jump to avoid the returning bolts, surrounding the Sith, still healing his shoulder. Odeyseis was hoping that by the time she could reflect the bolts from the submachine gun back to him in the air, he would use his right arm where he was holding his lightsaber to reflect those away.

Objective: Break the Warhammer
Allies: [member="Mordecai Zambrano"] [member="Alicia Drey"] [member="Melakoth Tyrin"]

"Angle down to match the Republic ship progression and fire," Taeli ordered. The Genjix began to pitch forward slightly, angling its gun at the descending Republic ship that was their target. It was quite a good maneuver on the enemy's part. Going underneath the Sith ships would provide them with an un-impeded firing angle that would take time to adjust to normally and give their top mounted guns a much better arc. That couldn't be allowed to used lightly.

The hypervelocity gun opened fire again, aimed directly at the top of the Warhammer. As the super accelerated slugs headed towards the ship, the turbolasers and ion cannons opened up on it again for a third time, but this time she could see the other Dark Blade was opening fire in much the same way. This time she hoped to see some damage on that Star Destroyer. She only hoped the Immortal could tank the Republic's attacks long enough for the escorting fleet to be destroyed. The coralskippers and Razers would definitely help keep enemy fighters off of them, but the annoying garrison force was still afloat and would need to be dealt with soon or they would all be shot to hell from the rear.

"Helm, make sure we stay at long-range, I do not want to be within rang of those guns from their command ship or their other big ships," she ordered.

Summary:
Opened up with another hypervelocity and standard volley on the Warhammer, angling down to try and keep the ship within our firing arc

These Republicans had some fight in them after all. While reports on the ground were easily foretelling of the Sith victory to come, their naval forces were more bite than bark. Many a commander would be infuriated by such things, but Mordecai was enthralled by their tactics. It was refreshing to find someone so worthy, so deserving of a quick and painless death. The Dragon Lord would happily oblige them and relieve them of their lives once he finished up with a little distraction.

The Republic's fleet that had dropped down were very lucky and smart indeed. Though Mordecai had something in mind for them. Something they wouldn't expect.

"Fleet," he snarled, "I want a one hundred and eighty degree port yaw rotation. Show 'em our muzzles and rain hell on them. [member="Melakoth Tyrin"] and [member="Darth Arcanix"], let loose with everything you have. Coordinate your battle computers. [member="Alicia Drey"], I want that command vessel down now."

He gave a wolfish grin, "Make it happen, people."

For those in the audience who are new to fleeting or have yet to read Mordecai's 10 Commandments to spacial tactics, this maneuver would allow the Sith invasion fleet to spin one hundred and eighty degrees to counter for their exposed underbellies. It would also prevent the Republic patrol group (initial forces) from taking a similar target if the Sith forces had merely tilted downwards to compensate for their fire arcs.

As for the Wake and Tombstone, they were pounded. Heavy losses on their shields and maneuvering capabilities made for slow movement and response to Mordecai's orders, but they complied and licked their wounds as their fellow Razers moved to cover their forward retreat.

"All fighters, bombers, dropships, take the picket fleet. Backfire speed, zonal attack pattern. Target life support systems, weapons relays, and shield generators."

"Sir, Jal'sho will coordinate their assault."

Ah, that was right; the Yammosk. Actually, there were two of them. Their powers were just as powerful, if even more, than the Battle Meditation that Jedi did. Considering there were two of the Yuuzhan Vong war coordinators working in sync, the Coralskippers' and their brethren would find their combat efficiency nearly tripled than their standard tactics. They would move fast, strike hard, and react to enemy fighters seconds before they would fire or move.

Four hundred fighters along with bombers and dropships made for the Republic picket fleet (initial forces). While the Coralskippers and the bombers would strike any target that moved, forty eight (48) Yorik-trema would head for the Torrent and the Liberator. They didn't need ion cannons to get past the shields. They were energy shields and hardly did anything to organics. As for the ship itself, it would chew through the hull with impressive speed before sliding itself in and clear the initial landing zone by itself before each pod dropped an entire platoon of full warriors into battle. Twenty four (24) dropships headed towards each target a piece.

"Is it time yet?" The Yuuzhan Vong warlord asked with a sneer, "Shall I display my might?"

The Dragon Lord nodded, slipping his helmet back on. "Proceed."

"Phobos and Antimone, concentrate your Dovin Basals on the enemy command ship. Drain its shields together, tear it apart and rend durasteel and flesh."

Dovin Basals were singularity generators that had a capacity to drastically drain the shields of any target they chose. While Coralskippers often used their smaller versions against attack craft, capital ships had a much more devastating effect. Considering there were a total of ninety (90) Dovin Basals focusing their efforts on the Republic command vessel. Since they had dropped altitude - or whatever it is in space - they were now much more closer to the Sith fleet and thus allowed such things to happen.

Oh right, those pesky attack craft that the poor Jedi mongrels had deployed. Well, since the Razers were moving inwards towards the Immortal and away from the initial Republican forces, the incoming attack craft would be met with the two hundred and forty (240) quad laser cannons. Alongside the combined flak cannon strength of one hundred and ninety (190) from the Dark Blades and the defense guns of both carriers and the Immortal itself, these pilots were in for a mean surprise.

"I'll be back."

Mordecai snarled as he hefted his shield up, grabbing his lightsaber and disappearing down the living corridor and began to make his way to the hangar.

Fleet Actions:
  • Wake and Tombstone suffer heavy shield depletion, damage to maneuverability systems.
  • Entire fleet rotating, think twisting upside down and tilting downwards to resume attack on Republic reinforcement fleet.
  • Both Dark Blades along with Immortal focusing fire on Republic command ship.
  • All four hundred (400) attack craft assaulting initial Republic forces. Twenty four (24) Yorik-trema dropships targeting Torrent and Liberator each. Take note of tripled combat efficiency and Yammosk coordination.
  • Ninety (9) Dovin Basals targeting Republic command ship and drastically draining shields.
  • All Razer-class vessels moving forward to intercept incoming assault craft; still in center of formation.

The storm had arrived.
The sky felt as it had darkened with the overwhelming presence of the dark side and the void in the Force that was the Vong.

The beast’s roar caused her to flinch just slightly and turn her attention upwards at it. The western walls began to crumble under the massive weight of the creature. Aaralyn grit her teeth and took a small step forward to move away from the bridge to engage but before she could, a tremor in the Force caught her attention and caused her to quickly turn towards [member="Matsu Xiangu"]. She would absorb the hit, in essence and grasp the wrist of Matsu with her right hand and roll across the chest of Matsu and bring the woman’s body into her own as she did so. This would enable her to bring her left elbow up, using the Force speed of the woman against her. Her elbow would come back behind her in an attempt to deliver a quick and decisive strike to the nose of Matsu. As she brought the elbow back swiftly, she felt the contact of the armor into the skull of Matsu through the nose. She could heard the angry growl of pain and just flat out anger that she had been struck. She continued her assault by pressing her right hand up against her left fist and shoving off. The weight of Matsu’s body shifted off her back and the sound of stumbling footsteps caught her attention – but only for a moment.

Her spin had brought her around in the Western direction and she would crouch down, her gaze would shift up to the massive beast that was [member="Dralshy'a"] – but the sound of charging cries and the plethora of blaster fire caught her attention. The nauseating hole in the Force that the Vong represented caused her to stir viciously with emotion as she shifted her position and quickly rose to meet the challenge head on. Attacking the Vong with the Force was a useless gesture, knowing full well their capabilities of avoiding Force based attacks directly, but in-directly as another matter altogether.

The sound of skittering thud bugs flying by her face caught her attention as she tucked and rolled to the left – her hands snatching her lightsabers coming to her hands with a call from the Force. With a snap-hiss she brought them to life, eager to cut down the very weapons of the Vong that took down Republic Trooper after trooper with screams of pain. The sound of explosions and shrieks of death and pain echoed through the Force, sending ripples in multiple directions in her mind. She would grimace as her concentration broke only for a brief moment – and in that moment a razor bug impacted her chest plate and sent flying backwards in a tumble.

The horrifying screech of the bug filled her ears as it attempt to gash away at the cortosis armor, Aaralyn reached up with both lightsabers and made a quick cross-slash as the bug made a second attempt to penetrate her armor. Her armored hand would move over to the side and grasp at the slick surface of the bridge as she brought herself up to her knees. The HUD showed a weakened point in her chestplate, although integrity of the armor remained, it would result in blunt force trauma from this point. Aaralyn turned to face the Vong onslaught and regained her composure, allowing the light of the Force to flow through her once more.

She watched as a Vong warrior approached her with his amphistaff poised to strike, He had it raised high above his head and before he could bring it down to bear upon her, she brought both her sabers up and inwards towards the armpits of the vile being. As anyone knew, this was the weakest point of the Crab Armor and the result was lightsabers penetrating through armor, tissue and bone. The screeching sound of the living armor dying and the bellow of the warrior experiencing a painful death overcame all other noise surrounding her. Through gritted teeth and mixed emotions that were raw within, she jammed them further through the Vong warrior, as far as they would go, and the blade of Kor-Vella exploded out the other side of the Vong in an explosive manner which sent tissue and armor bits in different direction. She quickly withdrew the blades and moved backwards, allowing the Vong to fall forward lifelessly.

Her head bobbed slightly as she struggled to breath for some reason, maybe it was the impact of the razor bug to her chest? 'Feth.' She cursed to herself, as time wasn't on her side to figure out. She felt a bit raw after the whole ordeal as it were, so any type of subtle injury wouldn't help. She detested the Vong and all they stood for. Every single fiber that created their essence of life, she despised them. With raw emotions, she turned towards the frontal assault of Vong that continued to fire their living weaponry into the lines of the Republic. Something had to be done to stop them from advancing, but most assaults required a little more room to maneuver than she had, and given the fact that the Vong were mixed in with Republic troops, she couldn’t risk friendly fire.

She would just have to do things the hard way…
And so it would be done, and just like that Aaralyn would begin to engage the Vong, one on one. Forgetting [member="Matsu Xiangu"] for the moment – which might prove to be a dangerous mistake.

Bellona smirked as she landed a hit on his shoulder. She relished the feeling of her lightsaber in someone else's flesh. As he screamed in pain, she felt him using another force push. "So predictable, my dear jedi," she said as she flipped back gracefully as the force wave hit her. It was the same exact move she had used to avoid his earlier force push. "You should really learn from your mistakes," she said as she saw him pull out his gun. A gun? A strange weapon for a force user. She flashed her teeth in a tiny growl before she swung her blades around her in a whirlwind of deep red. She could practically hear the sound of every single blaster bolts deflecting off of her twin blades. Blasters were so inaccurate and random. "How's your shoulder?" she said as she deflected the last bolt.

WARNING: HERE BE USUALLY SLOWER POSTERS

With the latest assault Hal actually staggered backwards, his face nearly as red as Avalore's, more of a crab than a lobster though.

Instead of verbally retorting, all that the exasperated Knight seemed to do was fling his arms into the air, hands balled into great flailing fist of frustration. Why do you always have to be so fething difficult?! He didn't really have a retort to that. He didn't really know that she found him difficult.

“Because...”

She was walking away, the opportunity for the last word was fleeting and yet his brain was producing nothing. No words that when screeched might hurt some feelings, might bring some truths to light.

Don't let her walk away!

“BECAUSE...”

Don't let her go!

Thankfully her back was turned because by this stage her mouth was putter and sputtering like an elderly relative who was all out of spittle. She had done to him what no Sith before could do. The healer had lit a fire beneath him and let all those buried emotions come bubbling to the top.

Turns out that it was mostly exasperation down there.

But there was something else. His usually passive face was wild, eyes wide and nostrils flaring. Before he knew it words were surging from the pit of his belly and up his throat like bile. Not even Hal Terrano was immune to the power of word vomit.

In his emotional explosion he brought a single fist hammering down upon the top of the terminal with a loud crash, miraculously sending the download progress from 34% to 76%.

“BECAUSE I LOVE YOU, DAMN IT!”

The tail end of her whip caught a Yuuzhan Vong by his throat, the blue light grasping his Vonduun Crab Armor and lashing around it. She pulled, wrenching the whip to the side, causing the massive hulking warrior to lurch backward and fall to the floor. A second later she was upon him, cutting through the arm of his armor and slicing through flesh cleanly.

She finished the alien by stomping his helmeted face, knocking him unconscious.

Three more Vong warriors well in quick rapid succession. Broken bones and sliced off arms preventing them from further combating Lira and her fellow Jedi. A few time the spit of an amphistaff or the bite of a Thudbug would try to get her, but her armor saw to the defense of such things.

She moved like a ghost.

The trail of blue that she left seemed to disorient the Vong, causing them to curse and lash out at what wasn't really there. A few of them tried to snatch her, but she quickly managed to dispatch them just a she did her foes. Eventually, the Vong within the Hangar were entirely downed, leaving only the Jedi Standing.

Lira's head snapped to the side. “Someones coming.”

It was a dark foreboding sense, that of an approaching avalanche. Among the see of force dead beyond that wall it wasn't hard to find.

As [member="Lira Dajenn"] expertly took down the Yuuzhan Vong, Sabena stayed behind and merely protected her flank along with the few other Jedi that had traveled with. There were four other comrades. Sabena was vaguely familiar with their deeds in the war against the One Sith. They were experts in combat -as far as she could tell - and being among their company was an honor to Sabena.

Eventually, the hangar was cleared of Yuuzhan Vong. In the moment of silence, Sabena took another look around the hangar. She noticed several auxiliary hallways on other sides of the hangar besides the obvious, large main hallway. Six J-1’s dotted the space of the hangar behind Sabena and Lira. Most were not operational after the rough landing in the hangar - one of which being Sabena’s. Yet, she knew that these machines could be volatile if given the right touch.

Looking down the main hallway, Sabena anticipated the arrival of [member="Mordecai Zambrano"] - despite not knowing the Sith just yet. She maintained a calm gaze. She took a couple steps to the side - left of Lira - in order to position herself in a manner that would be beneficial. She was weak - physically inferior to most fighters. She was unlearned in the ways of the Force. Yet, she had one talent that might prove useful for her superior Jedi comrades. She deactivated her lightsaber yet still gripped it in her hand.

Do you have a plan?” asked Sebena with a little shake in her voice. She looked over to Lira with a half-smile, as if expecting wisdom to flow from her. She seemed eager to follow the Jedi Knight’s instructions to the letter.

The bolt that was reflected back to Odeyseis, it left the knight with no choice but to use his lightsaber. He stopped healing as he used his arm to bring his lightsaber to protect him from the bolt. His shoulder burned of pain, his arm speed wasn't as it should be, but he barely pushed away the bolt. By the time he landed, he stopped using telekinesis of the gun, letting it go and making it crash over the floor. The sentinel took a look on his shoulder since he could feel the pain. By using Force Heal and making it to heal that fast, it took a lot of his strength. He had two choices, one them is to engage the Sith using Force Speed to match her speed, and his other choice...

Well, his other choice was way more passive as he remembered the words from his former master, Twinlik. Odeyseis could still remember her, that Twi'lek saying to him: "Wait, be patient. Wait for your enemy to make his move, react from it. A sentinel always waits Odeyseis so you can react and give them an efficient counter-attack." He stood up and looked at his opponent, answering her question and giving her a smile: "I've been through worse."

The Jedi knight took a deep breath as he took a stance called "Fast Style" where it was used a lot in the past by his clan to protect themselves. He knew that, this time, he would be protected from her sabers by using this style. Now, his mind was on the duel and nothing else.

Overlord Vaas maintained his current distance from [member="Patricia Susan Garter"] and the rest of the Republic forces near the generator. Knowing that the turrets were within range of his walker's massive cannon, there was no need for him to continue. Instead he held the line where he was, while his Blackblades battled the Republic throughout the city. Some of his men on rooftops began targeting the Republic's Devastator gunships with anti-aircraft weapons in an effort to remove the Republic's air superiority and further facilitate the One Sith's advance on the generator.

For his part, Vaas was determined to see every last turret destroyed. Another fell within his cannon's crosshairs, and his H-MAT unleashed an earth-shaking blast that obliterated the weapon and sent all Republic soldiers in its immediate vicinity sprawling in all directions - the bodies of some still in one piece, others not. The Overlord repeated the process on the next turret he saw, creating nothing but rubble and dust in his wake, carving a path of destruction and leaving at least one area free of turrets. He then began piloting the H-MAT around the generator's radius, in an effort to position himself for a final strike on the last remaining Republic turrets.

Lira deactivated her own lightsabers. The Saber-staff snapped off, and the light whip quickly uncoiled from her feet and disappeared in the blink of an eye.

Her armor still made her appear as if she was shifting and moving, the holograms functioning as though Lira was constantly in motion rather than standing in place, the tendrils of blue lapped down from the helmet, shifting as she moved her head to look at Sabena. Bright glowing blue stared at the young padawan, and for a moment Lira questioned why the girl was here.

So young.

She shook her head slightly, reminding herself that before anything Sabena was a Jedi. If she couldn't handle herself, then she wouldn't be here.

“Stay back. Never engage directly. Tire them out, then strike.” That was all the advice that she had to offer the girl at this moment. Lira herself wasn't sure what they would be facing once those fleshy doors opened, whatever, or whoever it was would be fought the way she fought everything. “Remember your training and follow my lead.”

Understood,” replied Sabena in a chirp. She seemed completely willing to listen to [member="Lira Dajenn"].

As they waited for [member="Mordecai Zambrano"]’s arrival, Sabena observed Lira’s armor. She paid attention to how the hologram appeared to interact with the world around it. It seemed give her a sense of familiarity - yet not in that Lira’s armor was exactly what she was reminded of.

Then, Sabena’s eyes turned up toward the ceiling. There were several catwalks in the hangar. Yet, the design and build of them was quite foreign. They seemed to have a wet, fleshy texture from where Sabena stood. Some pods sprouting from the ceiling illuminated the hangar. She had a thought on whether or not bafforr polen would adversely affect the structure of the ship. She touched a pouch on her belt at the thought.

The wait continued.

Objective 2: Hold the Kolto Facility

Varus huffed a disgruntled sigh when he saw his saber split in two, the violet color extinguished and choked out by the darkness of the Kolto facility. The remnants of his saber skipped across the ground echoing a metal scraping noise through the darkness as Varus tried contemplating how Xilo had managed such speed and precision required to sever a quick spinning saber in half. His accuracy had to have been pure perfection, or perhaps it had been an incredible moment of luck for the man, but either way it did send a twinge of frustration through Varus as the odds continued to weigh down on the opposite end of the scale from him.

The very next second the force tingled to Varus' fingertips in warning, a burst of bright light burning through the pitch blackness of the room as a beam stretched from above he and Xilo, the unwelcome second guest attacking him in the middle of an exchange. It was incredibly Sith like, he thought, as he raised his saber and took it in both hands. When the beam struck his saber it was unlike the times that he'd deflected a blaster bolt. The beam was thicker, stronger and lasted much longer than the momentary blaster bolt. It was more deadly, Varus could tell, and when he caught it against his saber, Varus slipped back to his right knee for more stability, his hands guiding the beam across the floor between he and Xilo until the beam drew close, threatening to scar the man or sever him in two.

That's when he noticed the young Sith rare back and throw something in his direction. It was a game of chicken, in reality. Who would crack first as two Razor bugs zipped towards him and a burning beam of energy quickly approached Xilo.

Location:West side of Generator
Allies:Republic (will add later)
Enemy:Sith
Objective:Survive what i'm about to do next

As we hit land we hovered around the city for a few minutes then split into various directions. As I moved to the west side of the city all I could see from the drop ship was death and destruction.

As we neared the west side I got a very choppy signal coming from a republic defence nearby. Something about a cannon and it destroying something. The signal was to bad out here but it didn't matter since when we saw the west side it was all made clear.

The commander ordered the ships to land at the west side and get into contact with the person in charge. I kept my eyes on that cannon as it broke through are emplacments. I told the pilot to get closer to the gun because I was about to do something really stupid.

[/SIZE]One. Reconnaissance team of elite Yuuzhan Vong Hunters guiding more forces in to attack.

Foes: [member="Patricia Susan Garter"] other waiting defenders.

The Hunters slunk through the East side of the city without alerting the defences to their presence. Elite infiltrators, even in heavy Skerr Kyrric their footfalls were remarkably silent. Khallesh had decided to advance towards their target, leaving Vornskr behind duelling the enemy Jeedai. With a flurry of hand gestures she brought her team to a halt in the shadow of an upturned air speeder. She pulled out her Blaze Bug from a pouch and tapped it. The situational awareness tool warmed up and started to display a map of her surroundings and enemy positions on its chitinous hide.

She had to keep reminder herself that it was not her place to seek out worthy enemies on this day. No, her team was there to try and slip into the target area and direct further forces. It seemed on that account that she’d failed. Either her team had dallied too much putting down the Republic forces that had been in their path, or it was simply a case of where they’d been dropped off. However, there were already significant friendly forces surrounding the generator and hammering away at its defences.

Never mind, she did her duty anyway. She called back across her villip and reported on enemy positions in the east side of the city. They were “pull” the friendly forces behind them, guiding them through the paths of least resistance to strike at the generators whilst the main bulk of Chazrach forces assaulted the walls far behind. It was a risky endeavour, if the Republic rallied and held them, they could be cut off. To make a last stand against hordes of Republic soldiers, to cut them down by the hundred before being dragged down. That would be a glorious death.

A few more complex hand gestured relayed orders to her team. They carried on advancing through the city until they were within visual distance of the generator. Khallesh lithely scaled the side of one of the low buildings that covered the surface of the submerged city. Her keen eyes took in the scene.

Warriors were making valiant charges against the west side of the building. An infidel machine, she recognised it as one of the Sith’s, was making its way around the facility, peppering it with fire.

Khallesh called for more Yuuzhan forces to follow the paths they had mapped through the east city. In the meantime her team started to sneak close to the defences. Soon the Republic would have to deal with assaults on both sides.

Location: Ahto City: North-Eastern streets -arriving at eastern streets-
Objective 1: Get up and fight!
Allies: None visible
Foes: None visible

Whisps was curled up behind some rubble. Fear had hit him and badly. Battle was everywhere. Getting up he saw their line getting pushed back even more. Taking his blade he jumped to the defensive line "Padawan Whisps here" he said trying to curl his fear up. Whisps used the force to push the Sith troops back, or at least knock them over. Taking the shot he then leaped over to the sith troops and started to carve his way through the line, granted he had to retreat quite a few times.

Defeating the Sith squad he moved east-ward. Somehow he had manged o just drop his fear into the ocean, something wasn't right. He had made his way to the eastern section of the city, the first thing he did was break for cover in the eastern streets.

Enemy: [member="Friedrich Stahlmann"] and the republic

Harley drop ship finally bordered the cruiser, the sith soldiers were facing a barrage republic marines. No quarter was been given, nor was being asked for. As her forces left the craft, half were mowed down by republic forces. They managed to get grenade in amongst them, harley was covered in some soldiers innards. As they pushed forward into the ship, blaster fire and grenades were coming from all directions. she could handle blaster fire, but the grenades were another matter. She took some cover, as troops pushed forward. They have so many grenades, before they would run out.

The captain of the ship began closing internal bulkheads, to stop the sith advance. So they could regroup, further inside the ship. Some republican troops were left stranded, unwilling to surrender they would fight to their last breath. She saw one pocket of them down a corridor, they were hers. There was just two of them, on the wrong side of bulkhead. She charged down at them, blocking blaster fire as she went. As she got close one managed to get past her lightsaber, the shots cut into her armour. The impact spun her around, she fell to floor in a heap. They went kill her, she closed eyes used the force to push one into the other. As they collided, she jumped up, sliced one of them in two, from head to toe. The other managed to shoot her, in the side as she did. The shot crashed into her arm, her eyes turned Yellow, and she used the force to pull the man, onto her lightsaber. They were dead, they still have to break through bulkheads. To get towards the command deck, though this would not take that long. No doubt the republic troops would reformed by then. She took a med kit from one dead soldiers, and began to administer it to herself. She would have to ready, for when they break through to next fight.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The words the human Sith were speaking were near inconceivable to her. How can one be so far gone to think that blatant disregard for life, murder, can be in any way justified on any level. "How can you possibly stand there and tell me that I am blind? That the Jedi are dominating the minds of others and spreading lies, when here you stand, five deaths at your hands, five innocent beings that died simply for existing, for defending their home against the horror that you claim we are INVENTING! How can you possibly deny the horror which you have only moments ago committed!? If you speak of hypocrisy, you need only look at your Sith teachings! One cannot be an individual when you follow the guidance of senseless murder for power."

Shaking her head as she looked down at the ground for a moment, releasing a soft sigh contained within a mixture of disappointment and frustration, she guided her gaze back upwards, past the bodies and into [member="Xhexania"] 's eyes. Perhaps she was naive in thinking that there was any other alternative to killing each other, but she needed to try. It was simply her nature. Regardless of her feelings towards the fallen soldiers, perhaps there was something, some small bit of decency left in this human's heart that could be convinced otherwise that endless killing is not necessary for one's own freedom, and knowledge.

"Tell me, what survival are you killing for right now? You forget that you're invading and spreading war today, not me, not the Jedi, not the people of Manaan. You." She proceeded to lower the saber above her head, flicking her wrist as she reversed the direction of the blade and held it behind her as she continued to speak, if nothing else, to hopefully give the Sith at least some bit of openness to think about, even if it were futile to try. "True enough, I am angry, but I don't hate you, I am disappointed that you don't see your own indoctrination, and the idea that power is held by those without mercy or compassion. The Jedi order may not be perfection, but to murder by the droves simply for personal gain or to flex the might of your power against another is appalling. This is what I cannot understand about the Sith."

A single moment of pause had passed when a dozen mortar shells rang out in close proximity, as if the building itself were under siege. Down the corridor she heard what sounded like a direct hit, meaning the front entryway had surely collapsed. She was unsure of the layout of this building, and thus was potentially trapped, if there were no alternative exits to be had.

Adjusting her footing, and focusing herself on [member="Xhexania"] , she ended by saying in a soft tone, "You are wrong though, I don't wish to capture you, nor do I wish to kill you, I only wish you would see what you are doing from another perspective. If you cannot, then there is little I can do to change your mind. So here I stand, willing to die to stop this insanity from consuming the rest of the people I merely wish to protect."
