Invasion I'm On A Boat [OS-Republic Invasion of Manaan]

The two Sith Lords hadn’t left their cover during this entire ordeal, Carach’s little shield-sister had slipped in and out simply to destroy the outer-doors and had then resumed to hide behind the durasteel encampments. The shield had been a precaution, more for any attacks coming from their back than attacks from the reinforced bunker with the generator.

This did not mean that Spark’s usage of the twin-turrets was ineffective, but neither was it entirely surprising. Two blaster shots splashed against the powerful bubble created around, protecting the Sith Lords and their immediate surroundings. But these bubbles were never all that efficient, heat and warmth transferred across the shield into the catalyst that was the Voice of the Dark Lord. Burns started to appear across the unprotected parts of his body, the pain helped him to focus his strength and with another mental flick he attempted to disable the rest of the bunker’s defenses.

Mechu-Deru and the converter were aimed at the inner twin turrets, disabling them and giving rise to the opportunity to start assaulting the inner reinforced bunker door. Before moving out of cover, Carach swept with his senses across the defenses, only after making sure that there wouldn’t be anymore surprises would the two Sith Lords leave the protection of cover.

You cannot move without losing the shield.’ Carach stated frankly. ‘And you cannot create another kinetite bomb without dropping the shield.’

The situation seemed clear to the embodiment of freedom, and so it was that through this obvious conclusion the Sith Lord snapped his fingers and a new shield appeared around Neph’s.

Prepare your power, when you are ready I will drop the shield and you will blast through the inner-doors.’

He pondered it for a while, memories of a cold, wet darkness enclosing all around him and choking him almost to death. The aftermath brought a grin to his lips as Carach added.

We will show them blood.’

She kept her distance from the fight; there was little she could contribute without taking the time to genuinely build up her strength. Selka had never been one to wave her hand and make things happen; that wasn't in her skillset. As the unarmed sub skidded around the edges of the seawater-patch battlefield, she got a good solid grasp on her fury and pain and frustration. Even if she built up her strength, there was little she could do so long as she remained undercover. Force Drain, her only significant 'power', didn't need a visible manifestation; not how she did it, anyway. But even so, if the Selkath...or the SIth troopers... started dying one by one, someone somewhere would attribute it to the little submersible, and then she'd have a very small window of opportunity to pit a sporty civilian model against military hardware. While negotiating the shift between focusing on the Force and focusing on the material that so, so many found simplicity itself.

So she built up her power, but nothing, as of yet, happened. She hadn't found a target yet. Hadn't decided what to do. For now she kept to the edges of things.

She had messed up. The attack left her wide open and her opponent had noticed it. Mind racing for a move Kana followed her opponent’s move and stepped to her side as well. Taking a step to her left the attack on her elbow barely missed her. As she felt the heat from her opponent’s saber pass her by she quietly counted her lucky stars and took a few further steps away from her enemy.

Her retreat turned into a staredown and she held her saber firm in both hands as she pointed it towards the skies. Keeping it close to her chest she began an attempt to circle around the man . Her eyes set upon him and for the first time since the fight had broken out she managed to truly get a good look at who he was. His appearance spoke of his experience. Kana hadn’t been his first and she definitely wouldn’t be his last. She broke her own vow of silence as curiosity got the better of her. Keeping it calm and collected she let her voice ring for her enemy to hear.

“Who are you?”

Nephthys would drop her shield, a faint wince as his own took up to protect the tiny Vahla Darth. With the freedom to move anew, the Sith Lord did as she was told.

Both hands came up over her belly, palms cupped as the child of the Eye of the Dark Lord summoned the energies of the Dark Side. Within her palms came that crackling sphere of power, growing stronger and stronger with every passing second.

It would churn with a pulse of crimson and black hues, as if the woman had caught a hold of a small storm, molding it into shape as she would compress it into a perfect sphere the size of her head.

Deep intense concentration would mar her alabaster brow, her arms trembling at the expense of energy she was using to charge it up.

Blaster fire would illuminate the shield [member="Darth Carach"] had bloomed around them, but the intense head would still kiss her skin, the algae of Vong Crab armor not quite enjoying the jump in slight temperature.

But it would hold.

It had to.

Just a few more seconds. It had to be perfect.

Oh, she was cunning, and vexing as all hell, but perhaps that is why Vornskr was so hell-bent on acquiring her for his own. Now that the chance to do just that was presented before him easily, he was, for a lack of better words, dumbfounded for a few moments as he processed the terms Kiskla explained for her capture. He would be forced to pull back his Blackblades, himself, and his wife, and in return Kiskla would willingly give herself up and be put under his custody. For a few moments longer he stared directly at the Jedi Grandmaster, and then he let loose a long, drawn out cackle that was visibly shaking his entire being, yet the arm holding his lightsaber angled toward the Jedi remained rigid as stone. "You sure do know how to throw curve balls at me, Grayson, but I am not convinced. You Jedi preach honesty and compassion, yet I have seen the opposite used by your kin, so how do I know that you will relinquish yourself once I give that order?"

He wasn't no foo, he wanted to be absolutely certain that she would give herself up if he did what she said, and wouldn't do a thing beforehand. However; he was absolute giddy with anticipation as he awaited Kiskla's rebuttal, his soul hungering to have the blonde-haired woman in his clutches at long last, and to finally accelerate with his schemes.

Kiskla wasn't sure who she thought she was-- but she had learned to manipulate Vornskr's obsession with her to execute her will. When the deep voice of her enemy recited the instructions she had given him she wanted to smile. But she didn't. She was far from triumphant. Those at the generators still needed reinforcements and she'd set herself in a position to relieve them only slightly. But moreso than if she stayed to continue fighting. Vornskr would suck her of her time, ensuring that her blade not be shared with anybody else's. It was similar to the issue she'd ran into on Alderaan with Daella. She had plateaued in conversation with the woman while surrounded by explosions. To Kiskla, this was pretty good--- the Blackblades would retract, [member="VlPER"]'s foe would also, and the Sith Lord would stop destroying elements of the city. Did she trust him to his word? Of course not. She was actively thinking of a way to ensure this went through positively though, and she wasn't negotiating her position to be duped.

He doubted her as much as she doubted him. But he wanted to believe her. He so very deeply wanted her to uphold her word and claim himself victor over this eternal shindig. She could feel it.

Unblinking, she replied.

“I preach nothing, but I evidence all.” The Grandmaster was a woman of many words in the right company, but to the public face she was an actor, an enabler. Not a conversationalist nor an evangelizer. "I expect a lord of your caliber to do the same.

Call them off."

His feet felt the impact of each step, the speed of the force and the sense of it guiding him through the city. He knew where he needed to go. He knew what he had to do. What he had to prevent. The Sith had come far enough with him idly standing by due to his lack of action. His lightsaber hung on his belt, and all he wore over his body was a simple T-Shirt. He still used the leg armor from his Ori'ramikad days, but he was built for maximum speed. Which, given that he was primarily a user of force speed and enhancement of his body, coupled with his Teras Kasi usage and mastery, he'd be one fast son of a queen.

With great hair.

Tracyn moved like lightning, between buildings and between fights. He didn't interfere, it wasn't his place. The force was calling him to protect the Republic at the generator. So he would. He checked his lightsaber as he moved, feeling the intense light side nature of the Solari crystal embedded within fueling his own presence. To the Sith, however, he'd be like a kid with a flare running down the middle of the street with a giant neon sign while dressed in a reflective suit with LED lights and a glow-in-the-dark hat.

He was close, but not close enough.

Objective: Find Varus and ruin Xilo and Viktor's fun!

When the group had finally made it back to Ahto City, it hadn't taken them long to get separated, each running off on objectives of their own. Kian felt a pang of guilt for evacuating the Rift facility below. He hated running from a fight, but in this particular situation, there was no conceivable way to hold that facility with it as compromised as it was. Besides that, he had a missing apprentice to find.

[member="James Mathison"] was off with [member="Sanya Val Lerium"]. Kian didn't know Sanya, at least not formally, but he trusted his apprentice James and her to handle themselves. Varus, however, hadn't rendezvoused with them as planned and that concerned Kian. The last communication he had received indicated he was at the Silk facilities, and judging from the speed with which the Sith had overtaken the Rift Facility, it wasn't a hard conclusion to draw that the Silk Facility was likewise occupied.

Kian erred on the side of caution, moving through the streets silently and secretively, relying heavily on his Shadow training to avoid detection. When he finally reached the Silk facility, Kian wasn't entirely surprised to find it in the hands of the One Sith. Leaping from hiding, Kian cut through the first few Sith soldiers with little difficulty. The Vong however were a different matter. They were no mere soldiers, their living weapons were fierce and their fear of death non-existent. It would take Kian time to get into the facility. Dodging the spit of an amphistaff, Kian closed in with the attacker and severed an arm, and then the head.

Kian could feel his apprentice inside now....he could feel him in the force as well as those he fought with. By the time Kian made it into the facility, he was covered in a fine layer of sweat from the exhaustive fight with the Vong. There were a few nicks and bruises as well, but nothing serious. Kian came across Varus and the two Sith combatants just as [member="Xilo Gale"] leapt over Varus pulling a sonic blaster as he landed. Kian's eyes widened in concern for his apprentice and he reached out his hand, sending a burst of telekinetic energy at hand holding the blaster, hoping to push the attack aside before Varus was struck.

Elara continued her work, there were spare reports of jedi actually trying to do something now while an army of the dead walked, while vong and sith soldiers moved in the streets. it was laughable to her as she watched the engineers working on the droids, they had what they wanted, they were working now to ensure the area was secured while the riders took up position. If the Blackblades were Kaine's answer to everything these hunters were her masters and they showed it well. Securing the Republic barracks and leaving the gearhead inside under guard. That was just a wealth of information they would need to get and secure, the other chatter from her comlink had to do with the commander's ship and aiding [member="Selka Ventus"] in her endeavors or at least securing the progenitor as Vivaldi's soldiers were forming the massive bulwark.

The small girl continued to pace while more were rearming and loading up the full array of weapons. A squad of Republic soldiers came their way as she watched them sweeping only to run into the horde. The sound was enough to get a small laugh while they fell slowly rising up to shamble. Sith undead infection was a dangerous thing and they were making sure these ones did not bother them. The troopers behind the darksiders and working on their equipment. Their rifles serving a purpose but still barely needing to be fired as the gruag with them crossed his arms. Her master's voice coming through on the comlink. "Elara, progress report." The apprentice moved looking over the screen but not getting in the way of the gearhead working on the equipment. She wasn't about to interrupt and make it take longer, that would only serve to give the republic time.

"We are nearly there master, that they never thought to do anything with their sithspawn units is saddening. They might help them in a fight as it were, I wish we could find that cannon they made for Togoria from Lord Vornskr's initial reports." She had liked reading that, hearing of an anti sith everything cannon that the Republic never tried to perfect.... sad times indeed while more sounds of blaster fire came. The soldiers perking up while Elara motioned with her hands. "The rafters and walkways, use them." The men might not like her or take orders easily but they knew a plan, hell they knew the best place to fight and letting an apprentice draw attention so they have the drop... always good. They were moving up into the upper walkways when the troopers rushed in closing the doors their jedi companion leveling his blade towards her for a moment. "Surrender now."

The thought made her grin under the mask, this one had abandoned its post and allowed them to run throughout the city and now here it wanted to order her around. The high pitched buzzing sound came as she listened stopping only for a short moment until the man screamed his eye bleeding and stabbed as the white haired intelligence officer buzzed him a second time stabbing into his other eye. The gun went off and the graug was in front of her roaring before everything broke loose. The squad was broken and thrown out the doors, the sound of mechanical grinding was in the air while the machinery started to whir. They were near done and Elara spoke. "What is the status in the embassy and base?" The soldiers sent there were working on their own projects and tasks ensuring this lapse in security and the upload was being sent to [member="Melakoth Tyrin"] & [member="Mordecai Zambrano"].

"Fleet commander we are uploading to you the information, use it as needed." The ground commander with a battle lord had been securing and cultivating the deaths in the republic's embassy. Their main computer working wonders for some stuff but once their cyber security vanished the slicers began going in, using the copy from the voice's actions with the former Republic's AI. Which was something in and of itself, getting a neglected AI to help you or copy itself to help you. She was remarked on how neglectful these one were of their equipment while moving about the computer room. She might not be able to do the hacking but she'd defend the ones doing it while their continued work was nearly sixty percent. More then enough information to help intelligence officer's on Coruscant buy her drinks for awhile. "Continued the upload and make sure it is being sent to the teams."

She kept moving now, pacing while the rest of the screens were tracking the movements, there were some trying to move about the streets. Well trying being the operative word, the sith had horde and soldiers but this is what made it fun, their communicators would have a location tracker for coordination.. sadly the republic retreating on the jedi's order sullied it and now the Sith had been able to march into the base and look at the stuff. She spoke watching the padawan's scurry about. "Would you look at that, they are like mice to lead and watch. Lets see if we can follow their communications shall we." She kept at it and spoke into her own comlink. "Move towards sector five but stay on the rooftops and in the shadows. Let the padawans and their men find the vong troopers Elara set up in some of the houses. Master Voice they are moving towards you."

The sound of confirmation came as she continued to work and spoke. "[member="Darth Arcanix"] this is sector fives ground commander, requesting additional troops deployed to these marked locations. Send down the rest and any bombers you can spare I am going to send teams to paint a few targets." The smirk remained on her face though while she let the fingers dance over the keys of the console. The clacking signaling destruction while speaking for the other teams. "Move towards the medical center and ahto city library, we will buzz it and do one run to soften anything in there up." They were going to sink the city, not many would notice damage to the buildings after that while she was looking towards the rest of it. Tracking the signals of [member="Sanya Val Lerium"] [member="James Mathison"] as she switched to screens to view them. There was more happening and seeing another jedi dodging was interesting.

Then there was an explosion and dead sith but... this was the horde, slowly the undead that were raised moved in, biting and raising the cooked meatsuits. Their groans coming while some of the limped and crawled, their armor charred and bodygloves ripped. Killing things now was more dangerous with sith undead coming towards the generators and filing around the walkers. It made the commander grin a little to herself as she sat back and continued to work the console checking statuses and connection. The kolto that was unguarded was gone, that part handled. Now it was all up to the fleet commander and others in the ocean to handle the rift and selkath there. The other teams were still fighting and working while reinforcements had been called in, her amusement coming now before it ended and she spoke. "Reinforcements inbound, ensure one sith presence in the rift is maintained."

"Understood." The battle lord spoke it with authority while the blood made the rift battle turn the dark water hazy. There was death on all sides but more then that there were the chance for a good fight as she held one of the seatrooper rifles and fired it into the face of a selkath. The commander sending down the forces was pushing all that they could forward. The Silk facility was registering explosions that hadn't been theirs which only seemed to help them and she was moving now, joining with the squad from inside the sub bay as they drew in a team of selkath and her hand grasped the fishes mouth with the hanging things smashing his face into her knee over and over. They moved into the parts of the station exterior to get them to play on their turf. The team working inside from the airlocks working to sabotage and kill the ones Kian had recalled into the station at the inset of the invasion.

The undersea submersibles were still moving, circling the troopers and moving in to buzz and provide distraction. The swimmers dropped in moved transporting the seatroopers and vong into the rift firing on the gatherings of selkath before deploying and sending torpedo's to lock on and strike at @Vaundin Miir and his ships. The timely appearance and reinforcement from Vivaldi who sent in her troopers and armor along with Tsolan would prove more effective as the commander spoke from the one ship overlooking on the surface. Their guns trained and waiting for the fighters to get within the best range for the shots to do something... extreme close range but they had a call in for reinforcements, there was more coming eventually to continue to secure the rift. The stations had two transports deploying behind the selkath who had gone inside to detain the sith troopers and it had the chance to be a slaughter.

The look on her face now changing to puzzlement while she was recalling they had scooped up and sent away the progenitor but it was no matter, the longer the distraction the easier it would be in the end to handle things. The troop movements against the fish were going to have to be more precise as the blood was chumming the water to attract more predators, it would serve well for the injured to be attacked and that deep down they could be swarmed. A small smirk came onto her face while she was going over the rest and speaking. "Apprentices [member="Xilo Gale"] and [member="Viktor Romanov"], status report." She had to make sure everything went well and having the apprentices backed up in the facility would serve the ultimate purpose. "We have units prepared to back you up now that we have lost contact with some squads."

[member="Caleb Brolen"]'s explosion wasn't unnoticed, Balaya stood there watching as the massive zeltron raised an eyebrow now. She had led the way and looked towards [member="Lisa Ticon"] as she spoke. "I will handle this, you see to it the streets are cleared." Her hand coming out towards the girl as she was speaking in a chant returning the small favor, Lisa had surged and pushed her own energy into the voice and now the voice was giving her a gift. Enhanced force energies with the darkside as she grinned showing white teeth and pushed more energy into her. "We'll just make sure you are stronger then most for a time but it will be limited so use the time well." Her hand motioned the girl away while looking towards and letting the warden's cloak obscure all of her features. notably her armor and the paddle rifle or the lightwhip. The cortosis cloak able to disable on contact more then enough.

This jedi was... weaker a padawan but he had gone unengaged and she turned to look at [member="Yusan Fenn"] before speaking. "Do you want to fight him or should I? Truthfully while we are heading over it matters little. He is kind of a spec to kick around but never know he might be something my hydra can chew on." She turned her head back to watch and let the hydra roar as it looked from her side. The larger area working to her advantage as the massive zeltron towered over everything there. Her soldiers were awaiting orders, her gruag forces adding to the horde where needed and preparing the real trouble of protecting their more sensitive locations. The upload, the titan's, the control room. All served the purpose as she made the way towards the generators and pushed to break them into scrap. "Come little jedi it is time to play, and do try not to be to boring."

Viper was relieved to see his defense had done some major damage to his enemy. It was time he would not waste. Although disturbed to see the woman lash out at a wounded soldier and begin sapping him of life to heal herself, there was nothing he could do to save him. Viper had to heal himself or they would both meet the same end. Drawing on his connection with the force, he began to heal his damaged eye and close the wound her blade had left across his face. The pain was immense, but still he pushed onward. The vision in his eye had begun to return, albeit blurry when he could hear his master making a deal.

His head shot toward his old master as he looked at the incredulous sight. Did she really think the Sith would call off his minions if she surrendered herself? His mind began to race. There had to be a way around this! Hearing his enemy chuck aside the body of the poor soldier she had just drained of life. His expression grew dark as he saw his way.

Ceasing his attempts to finish healing himself, he reached out with the force and gripped both the woman's legs. He was sure to put a little bit of an extra squeeze on her injured leg in order to draw a pained scream from her lips. Viper wanted her husband was it? To hear it ringing in his head. With a powerful yank, most of which was centered on the good leg so he didn't risk tearing off the damaged one and having only a piece of her, he pulled her to him before she could grab her swords again.

When Invicta had plopped down beside him, he slammed an open hand into her neck and hoisted her up from the floor. The saber in his free hand deactivated and was pressed to the back of her head. Drawing on his species ability to shape shift, Invicta would feel the tips of his fingers sharpening into claws which threatened to rip her throat open if she struggled. "Struggle my dear. And you'll be shown the same courtesy you gave that soldier."

Positioning her in between himself and her husband, he yelled out to the Sith. "My lord Sith." His tone was dripping with sarcasm and a tinge of anger. "Perhaps you should take other considerations into your calculations!" Allowing green veins of electric judgment to course through his hands once again and into his prisoner, he continued, a deadly seriousness written all over his face. You stand down now, or I take away what I would hope would be more precious to you than a little victory." With his face still throbbing in pain, Viper was in no mood for negotiations. The Sith would be able to sense most plainly, yield or death.

Yusan yawned as he ran beside Balaya, blade tilted towards the ground and occasionally cutting down a random republic soldier that had somehow survived the battle thus far. He cast his glance to the Jedi's show before nodding at the massive Zeltron and grinning. "Come now Balaya, if there's anything you need to know, its that i hate Jedi and Sith... No offense." He smiled and changed direction immediately, heading straight for [member="Caleb Brolen"], his eyes gleaming a bit brighter as the gold to them flared bright from both his body's heritage and as he began to drink in the pain and suffering of those around him and shot through the streets using the Art of Movement. It would not take him long to find the Jedi, but he would be smiling when the Jedi saw him coming.

"You presume much of me, Grayson. I will need more than your graceful words, a show of submission will convince me." He gestured with his free hand towards the Grandmaster, a cruel sneer forming behind the mask that covered his face as he formulated what exactly it would take for him to consent to the Grandmaster's terms. With the utmost certainty in his voice, coupled with his noble upbringing and the cruelty in which he was forged, he made another gesture with his hand, the index finger of his left hand pointing towards the ground as he spoke the words:

"Kneel."

Whether or not she did would be quite rudely interrupted by the arrival of another, whom's words drew the tyrant's attention away from the Grandmaster as intended, but perhaps that was not necessarily a good thing. His eyes took in the sight before him, the sight of some no-name Jedi holding his Empress captive, and daring him to stand down, or less he end the life of his wife. For a few moments, the tyrant was deathly silent as he gazed upon them both, and then from within the confines of his helmet rolled forth a haunting cacophony of laughter akin to some madman's hackles. "What a turn of events, something that I had not foreseen! I will not surrender, Jedi, I will never surrender, even if it means her life is forfeit. So kill her, Jedi, do it before I gut you now. Or can you bring yourself to kill her? I am very interested in seeing how far you will go for your Order, because I know how far I am willing to go for mine."

Xhexania staggered back slightly from the blow to her head, laughing as she absorbed the pain. "Give into your anger, Jedi! Feel the strength...the power it grants you." If the Jedi was not aware of what was happening to her, the young Sith did. There were many ways to defeat your opponent, including Jedi. Weapons were the quick and easiest way to achieve this but Xhexania could tell that the Jedi and herself were equal. So Xhexania moved into a different style of combat, she was going to turn this Twi'lek Jedi to the Dark Side! The cold whispers of the Dark Side were already crawling through the mind of this Jedi, Xhexania could feel it; the Jedi denied or suppressed it. But at some pointe, no matter how many lies the Jedi told herself, the Dark Side visited her and she had invited it in. Now all Xhexania had to do was find a way to bridge the gap.

"Die? You need not die, Jedi. Power down your weapon, take my hand and we can walk away from this together. Allow me to show you the true path...your path. You hunger for something far greater than any Jedi Master can teach you. You know this is true," the words flowing from Xhexania's lips as she felt the Force swell up inside the Jedi. The Jedi still wanted to fight so Xhexania would encourage her to do so, using it against her. Xhexania braced herself the best she could feeling the wave of energy drive her back toward the wall, slamming her small frame hard against it. The breath was nearly knocked from her but it was the pain that gave her the strength to continue. Quickly she dodged the debris and stepped toward the the Jedi, her blade's tip pointing to the ground. "Yes! You feel it don't you? I can see the surprise in your eyes, the tremble of your lips from that demonstration. That is power! Stop giving into the water-down teachings of the Jedi....step away from their chains...break free...become whatever you desire for yourself."

Xhexania's white-cloaked eyes peered up as the rafters above bent in, twisted, and bellowed for release. It was only a matter of time before this roof, this entire section of the facility gave in. Suddenly the release the rafters yearned for was granted, and it fell bringing with concrete, durasteel, and what appeared to be charred remains of Sith, Jedi, and both sides of the military with it. Slowly the young Sith backed up giving this cave-in a wide berth. She had no desire to come so far only to be squashed like some insignificant insect! Her eyes widened as they made contact with the generator, first rattling it then severing it into two shells of its former self, throwing up sparks and creating a smaller fire. Xhexania looked at the Jedi but from the corner of her eye saw what appeared to be the stored electricity escaping and seeking retribution for being confined against its will.

No stranger to electricity, having been punished relentlessly for her attitude by the academy Masters, knew it was best to avoid that at all costs, even if it meant she had to abandon the Jedi until future dealings. Force Leaping up into the recently created hole, she barely managed to avoid the blue and white streaks of death but caught a glimpse of the Jedi feeling those shocking fingers wrap around her body causing it to spasm and convulse. The body of the Jedi remained on the floor, motionless, and Xhexaina felt cheated. As she turned to leave she caught a glimpse of the Jedi's body move then heard the cries of pain erupt from the Jedi. She yet lived but another Sith had entered the chamber, saw the defenseless Jedi, and moved to kill the Twi'lek. Xhexania lept back into the chamber, standing at the side of her fellow Sith who happened to be one her rivals from the academy, staring down at the Jedi.

"Look at this Xhex! We have ourselves a Jedi without her weapon and appears near death," the male Sith boasted as he raised his blade over his head. Xhexania stared at the male Sith then back at the Jedi and smiled with wicked lips. Xhexania saw two opportunities present itself and she was ever the opportunist. "You fought like a true warrior, brave in the face of death and you managed to wound me, quite an accomplishment in that. But alas, your time is drawing near," she whispered as she invaded the Jedi's mind. The male Sith swung his blade down and was halted in mid-strike when the blade of Xhexania's lightsaber pierced through his chest plate as she drove it through his back. The male Sith looked over at Xhexania, puzzlement in his eyes as his life began to melt away, and heard his final words when she said, "I promised you Rhan that I would be the death of you...and I never break my promises you fool!"

Xhexania watched as another one of her rivals fell before her, adding to her total of five. Turning her eyes toward the Jedi, she pointed her blade at the Jedi and spoke, "I know...I know, I murdered him. But in all fairness, he was one of my more powerful rivals and he was going to kill you while you laid there defenseless. That is not the true Sith way. Just another misconception you have of us, right? I may be a monster but I do not kill defenseless opponents, even a Jedi. Where's the honour and satisfaction in that?" A loud crashed erupted from behind and above Xhexania blocking the last corridor and closing the recently opened roof, trapping the duo in a chamber riddled with bodies, debris, and a ever growing presence of fire. "We are not done, you and I. I have no desire to be entombed with a Jedi who possess a confused mind and I, unlike you, seem to be in better shape. So....either you can help me get out of here and we can finish this later or I can leave you here to die. Choose now for my patience is thinning fast!"

Viktor saw his charging at the Jedi, but then he feinted and leaped over him and pulled out a sonic pistol. Maybe he wasn't as incompetent as Viktor had originally thought, but even Viktor couldn't deny his sheer savagery. This would man may prove interesting in the future, Viktor would keep an eye on him. He shot another laser through the dark, aimed directly for where the Jedi would have to dodge to, but then he saw another man come in. It was a Kel Dor, with all the telltale signs of being a jedi. The way that he carried himself, a certain conviction and self-righteousness. Viktor grit his teeth as he saw the Kel Dor notice him, he would have preferred that not to have happened.

Then Viktor had an epiphany, it wasn't Viktor that the Kel Dor man had seen, it was his laser. So Viktor detached the beam cannon from his shoulder, as well as the piece of the computer that connected it to him and established a base for it on the railing. He established a neurolink connection with it via his Promethean computer, this would allow him to control his weapon from remotely. Then he slinked away in the darkness, using his machinery to supress his force powers. He made his way down to the Kel Dorian jedi, who was trying to prevent the sonic blast to the other one. Viktor gripped his final spear, still containing the hallucinogenic poison. Hopefully the Jedi was too distracted saving his ally to notice Viktor sneaking up on him.

Whatever it is, right now im kinda keen on surviving so I suggest we stay close to your friends there...Oh and start weaving erratically back and forth, it will make us a harder target and since were not as maneuverable as they are we'll already be mid-turn when they pass through us...aaand one other thing dont hit me while your'e doing that." Keanu wasnt sure how much experience this pilot had, and he sure didnt want to end up as collateral damage.

NPC - Vong (220 on one side, 62 on the other non generator side, moving forward. Zombies are pouring into the hallway, under fire by the vong)
The wooziness of the Vong showed as the first blast door was peeled back into nothingness with residual fire. Everything turned towards the hallway as they formed leveled phalanx, some in prone, some kneeling, and some standing tall. From Chitin carbines and from amphistaffs, thud bugs and acid slung against the second blast door with a smokey haste as Warriors in the back flung blast bugs with unusual proficiency. As they slapped against the door, the metal corroded and filled the hallway with groovy looking colored smoke, pouring out into the opening and filling the nostrils of the bloodthirsty Vong.

Like a flow of mud encompassing a building and bypassing it, the zombies walked steadily past their Vong betters and into the hallway. Wide eyed and white eyed, they moved with a slowness that characterized them as the Vong looked towards one another and paused their fire for a moment. The Battlemaster screamed and swung his arm as warriors looked at one another again and shrugged with a maniacal laugh, raining hell upon second blast door and zombies alike. As they continued to fire, the integrity of the door bulged in towards the generator facility and cracked, peeling away from the structure. With continual fire, the hole grew until it was enough to fit a single person. Should someone of importance enter the hallway, the Vong warriors would consider stopping. But for now, they were too busy wasting ammunition and destroying things as the other 62 began moving across the bridge slowly, looking to engage any additional forces with the remains of their rocket ammunition and if need be, the singularity mines against back.

PC - Kana Truden - Reverance
Crimson eye squinted at the young woman as Gabriel mirrored her movement, walking in a circle, extinguishing the blooded blade in the depression of a button. His eye followed her as his right hand lifted, left index finger nail scraping against the middle knuckle of the right fist. His eye moved from the woman and escalated towards the sky, drifting towards the peaceful blueness and still evaporation of ocean into cloud. A sight hidden by the ascent of buildings and kolto manufacturing plants. He had no reason to not reveal his identity, though it would not be the intimate name given to those whom he considered close. No, this Jedi wouldn't know of his birth name, of the identity given to him on that cold Arkanian planet, among all that blood and sinew and pain.

"Reverance..." He whispered, as he continued the slow seething in large circle. "But a name is of no consequence, only the differences we make...the pain we endure." He spoke slowly, as if contemplating his purpose not only on the planet but also in the universe itself. "Every flame needs a fuel, a ship needs propellant, a stone thrown needs direction. You will find me in the threshold, showing you people the error of your ways as I press finger in the wound. Perhaps, when we have crushed enough planets beneath boot, you will find lesson ingrained." He expected that she would desire to bestow upon him name, but he had no need for it. He cared as much for her identity as she would his. Though it would make more possible an arrest in the future, that consequence would not occur this day. It was the message that was important, not the one delivering it. Acceptation of ones place was the first step towards ascending above it. "I mourn for your loss...and relish in the pain that delivered it."

His eye turned back towards Kana as the force poured out of him in steeped anger. The sternocleidomastoid muscle extended down into the trapezius muscle. Jumping atop the clavicle, the sternocleidomastoid muscle touched the omohyoid muscle which connected in triangular formation to the trapezius muscle. The deltopectoral triangle separated the pectoralis from the deltoid, descending down through the cephalic vein and brachial artery. Further down the shoulder, deltoid transferred energy into the triceps and biceps. The Sith Lord focused on the Jedi's wound as he moved, his mind tracing over the muscles as if skin was pulled from the body to reveal all that was left beneath. The pulse of the arteries down into the limbs and the pulse of the veins back resembled an electrical bounce, all controlled by the heart. As he focused, he pushed hard on the wound with his telekinetic prowess, looking to cleave the cauterized wound open and, if given the opportunity, tear muscle from skeletal structure and rip arm from torso. It would be a slow process, but a debilitating one if left to linger.

Aaralyn could hold on no longer – not like it mattered, she was but a drop in the ocean when it came to the grand scheme of life. She felt the grinding of the metal against the concrete as her fingers slipped, one by one, first her left which caused a sudden jolt as her body shifted rapidly. Her right arm groaned under the sudden weight shift and pressure of her body swinging slightly and then, there was a weightlessness beneath her as she let go.

The fall itself felt endless, allowing for a few hazy blinks, the bridge above shrinking in the distance. The sounds of battle fading and the glistening warmth of the sun being sucked away by cold darkness. She couldn't feel the impact, hell she couldn't feel anything at all. Was it like death? No, perhaps one could say it was like living all over again.

As the blackened, debris filled waters flowed over her form and began consuming her broken body – it was a simple, weightless splendor that filled her. As the endless slumber that called to her beneath the crushing depths, all she could think of was the why? Her mind would go blank shortly after and the temptations to be devoured by the shadows of death began plague her. She would resist the call to close her eyes and embrace what awaited her as her vision was flooded with crimson soiled waters. Most likely, it was her own blood and fortunately for her - it wouldn't be attracting any beasties this day. The ongoing battle above in Ahto City and the rift below had driven them away for the most part.

A soft lulling noise caught her attention, a beautiful hum of fizzing bubbles that filled her ears and soothed her senses. It was almost luring her further into the darkness, begging her to just close her soft violet eyes. As she continued to plummet into the dark, timeless void of the ocean – her breaths would get shorter and her heart would begin to slow.

The burning flame that defied and defined darkness was fading away.

Whisps knew he couldn't fight the Vong alone. The squad he helped before had vanished and the Vong was going to attack again. The staff creature became a whip-like object and snapped and Whisps heels, he had tried jumping back but the earlier actions and worn him out, sharp teeth had sunk into his right foot, screaming in pain, he brought his blade down several times on the Amphistaff to either behead it or get it to let go. Either way he wouldn't get very far.

"The South turrets are gone!" The cry left her ever constricting throat. Heart thumped rapidly in her small chest and the distraction enabled her to tear her eyes away from Stali, although his encouragement warmed some of the terrified out of her soul.

The brilliant screeching of alarms was duplicated as multiple thumps and groaning metal met her ears from the inner set of blast doors at her back. It wasn't the same set of blast doors from the South. Pale face turned a shade whiter as she looked at the monitor and to Stali and Qun.

"Something happened. I don't know! Vong...monsters," she squeaked, "I don't know ho-," another loud thump and creaking of metal. How did they gorram get past the first door so quickly? She trained the inner gun turrets at them at the sharpest angle - to those the most immediate threat and input the codes to fire repeatedly on anything that moved...until the turrets were destroyed or republic reinforcements came in.

It looked like any of the republic folk left were fighting further down the hall or already dead.

Stomach twisted.

Wide gray-blue eyes looked up, above the lip of her datapad screen to Qun. "I think all the cab drivers are dead."

She swallowed.

The shield. Don't forget about the shield. Practice the shield.
