In Exis (Lady Kay)

Matsu continued to listen to the holocron as it was explaining. There was more to it, as Jev was explaining with the images of his family coming up and she listened. "It was not all good though, my final entry in this before I leave it to you my grandson Andur is knowledge. The jedi hold many secrets and many have been lost. Our family are skilled but you'll always find power in the knowledge we share here, in the scrolls and books of our family that can never be taken away." The map seemed to change and she was looking at it, it was near the system but just far enough away as she backed out of it and was focusing on the force. Letting the energies flow around her as the work she had been doing to learn from the Aing-Tii stood at the ready. Thoughts going through her mind and through her fingers as the force flowed freely to show her the home without the brush and without people, flowing backwards further and further until she could see the family and all the thick hard covered books, tomes as well as datapads they were able to use. She was walking carefully and making sure nothing felt her presence while she was searching in the remains for the crates and shelves with ruined datapads as well as old books. She might be able to recover something from them while slowly drifting out of the past and looking at Kay as she sat there. "THere is a lot of history here, more so then even I thought there would be and they lived it. I had no idea it felt like that to travel back and see."

She raised a brow. Travel back and see? That must be some strong meditation. Kay was fascinated about the prospect of investigating old books and scrolls. But would they be written in basic? Who knows? For the most part she was also enjoying being surrounded by nature. There didn't seem to be any danger here. It was nice to be perfectly at ease for once. Kay just hoped that it would last.

"Your holocrons sure are curious things."

Matsu was looking at her now as she raised an eyebrow. "You have no idea." She said it with a laugh and some seriousness, she had found almost a dozen holocronss that taught her and all were strange and different compared to others she had found. Opening them and meeting the gatekeepers as well something to see. "There is much you can learn from them but this might be the most demanding compared to some, I never had to travel to unlock the next part of a holocron and information." She was looking at the map now and showing it. "Krayiss is the next location where Jev died, there isn't much information but he was investigating when he died. We can head there but there is something more about this place. It is still so peaceful."

She nodded as she listened but then raised a brow to her last statement. "There is something more? I agree that it's peaceful, but what else are you looking for here?" Maybe it was the library...

She wasn't certain what they might find and even looking back well there hadn't been much. Just a home welcoming and full of life as her attention went to a few of the things. "I am not certain, even looking back it didn't have much more then being a house. I don't think it was built on anything special but the family might have shaped the land just as much as it shaped them." She was shrugging while holding the holocron and updating the map while she was walking around. "There is always some purpose in the force for things if you look hard enough but perhaps it is just not our place to know yet. Maybe in time." SHe'd see if it was possible to set up something here, a research team or outpost on the world working to explore and investigate. "What about you, what do you see?"

Kay looked around. It was easy to see where foundations once stood, though now it was overgrown. "I think that they had picked a great spot." She stepped forward and then crouched, placing her hand on the ground. She reached out to the Force a bit, just to get a better sense of the energies around them. "An abundance of light energy here. It must be from all the plant life." Not to mention whatever creatures lived nearby.

Matsu had to agree to that it was sensible and thought out.. als she didn't really have another explanation. This wasn't a nexus otherwise it would have been taken but it wasn't to be ignored that it had the force energies in a rich abundance as she walked around. "I think we'll find more surprises as we continue on through this journey." A smirk was on her face and she was making mental notes on the different thingsa nd the reactions of her companion. "If worse comes to worse this is a place a jedi or force user could get lost in. Hide themselves away from those seeking to harm them or chasing them." She walked and placed a hand on the woman's shoulder. "We should move and not disturb them to much, the creatures here seem peaceful enough but never know what might come out after dark."

Kay got to her feet as she was touched. "Alright. Let's carry on." She waited to follow Matsu, still observing the area. If she needed another place to hide, this was most certainly an option for her. Hopefully it would remain a secret.

Matsu looked at Kay and gave a nod of er head as she was walking and working to leave the place as undisturbed as possible. Coming here had helped them but also provided a place where if need be disappearing to wouldn't be so bad. Her attention was on the massive amount of nature following forward and brought her hand up while she felt a rock touch her foot and looked down. It seemed strange for a moment as she moved it to the side carefully and continued on towards the ship. Taking extra care to mark covertly for her and Kay the pathway there but not disturb the way with subtle thing, a changing of the color for the trees or leaves that would stay the color to lead them if they returned back but let them lose others. Matsu made her way back tot he ship and set int he new data as Krayiss wasn't far away and the notes that it was a darkside investigation. They would have to go and see while she had some food and drink on the table. "It isn't too long about an hour flight"

What Matsu was doing to mark their path covertly was genius. The food and drink were welcomed. But she waited for her host to eat first. In the meantime Kay sat down. "I wonder how many different places we'll go to?"

Matsu was looking at Kay as she ate some and then motioned for her to enjoy it. THey had plenty and she was the only one in the galaxy who had developed the special converters while she held out a hand over the one console. "Tea, jasmine, hot." THe whirring was there for a moment as quickly the converter created the teacup then it was full of hot tea for her to drink. "Given what I know about this family from the history books it could be anywhere they have been in the order for thousands of years, visited worlds and saved billions." She took a sip and blew o it. "These converters also make it to hot, have to work on that."

Kay blinked as the tea and cup seemed to have appeared out of thin air. It was no holo projection either as Matsu drank from it. Wow!....Amazing. "Could it make me a Sapir tea?" She waited eagerly, wondering what it was going to taste like. Of course Kay would be the best judge as she loved Sapir tea and drank it many times daily. She eagerly watched for the cup to magically appear like some addict awaiting their next fix.

Matsu looked at her as they were traveling and she spoke into the console. "Sapir tea, hot." She said it as the console chimed showing it and creating. "We found these converters that could make food, drinks and materials for equipment with the right raw materials." The tea finished while she took the cup and set it for Lady Kay to taste it while she drank more of her own. "There is some work we have been doing experimenting with the one force converter I found a long time ago." THe smile was there watching some more of it and she let the different star charts from the holocron show while they were moving on the course.

Kay cupped her hands around the mug and blew on the liquid gently to cool it. She could already tell that it was a bit too hot, but the smell was there. "A Force converter? How does that work?" It was hard enough for her to wrap her mind around food and drinks being produced out of thin air.

"The cube we discovered breaks down to a molecular level crystals and force energy that it can then create into a new object. We only have one working converter so just taking it apart is dangerous so it has been slow moving." She had some ideas about how to improve that but would need to find the older holocrons that might say who or what created the cubes. For now looking at Kay who had her drink she was enjoying. THe chrono passing the time until they arrived at the planet ticked away as she continued to drink the tea with her eyes going over the different maps she could pull up of krayiss. "We should be there soon."

Kay pondered over the very idea. It was strange, yet the applications for it could be good. Of course if put in the wrong hands, it could be very bad. She sipped the tea now that it had cooled enough. "What would be the largest thing that this could create? And....would it be capable of creating a living being?"

"No it can't create a living being and it can't create large things. The parts it can make with power and raw material." She was looking at her now and wondering what she was thinking about or worried about but they were there at the planet as she rose up setting the cup in the basin to be broken down while looking out at the world. "We are here." She was getting her thing. "We will be able to work with it and I can show you. With enough funding the converters can be improved and worked on." She could spare one for the women as well, Kay was proving invaluable as Matsu moved towards the ramp and the forested world seemed untouched and ancient while her attention was going to it. "There is not much information about what they were investigating just that four masters were sent." She held the holocron as it was displaying the map.

Kay nodded. She was glad that nothing living or large could be produced. Hopefully it would stay that way. As they had arrived, she got to her feet and put the empty cup in the basin. Then she fetched her satchel and followed Matsu out of the ship. Right away again she eyed their surroundings while Matsu observed the map. "Do you think that the information was erased? Or just not recorded?"

Matsu was looking at her as she walked thinking about it. "I am not certain the reports from back then are mostly lost but from what information we had no one survived." Matsu kept moving now letting her senses expand outwards as she could feel it. There was something here while she was moving forward with her attention on the map to lead them but also on the ground itself. "Whatever happened we might not be able to find much information on but we can search and the holocron is pointing us here for a reason." She kept going and the coordinates changed mostly pointing to a mound of twisted trees.

Kay squinted her eyes as she saw the twisted trees. "How strange..." She approached them, being ever so careful and delicately traces her fingers on it. "Trees don't normally grow this way. They must have had to grow over something..." Her friend Sheila would've known for sure. But sadly she wasn't here. "And if no one lived...whatever killed them could still be a threat to us."
