In Exis (Lady Kay)

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist

Matsu looked at Kay as she gave a nod of her head in acknowledgement to it. The holocron of destiny was considered just that a myth, holocrons didn't work like that and know how to predict it as she was wondering what it was with a nod of her head. "It is... or it was... the jedi have things about it but there is no information. It is supposed to be able to tell a persons future but that can be changed with everything you do." She really wasn't certain though and with them going forward while she held the holocron and was looking at the gatekeeper with her attention on Vima and the other went to her saber. She looked at the cube being held in the center of the room. "Though if it is real it couldn't hurt could it? I mean seeing the future can still be changed."

She furrowed her brows. "Some things are just better left alone..." Maybe some were eager to see what could be in their future, but Kay wasn't one of those people. She was almost afraid as she has had mostly trouble meet up with her. "I'm not going to stop you from looking for yourself though..."

Matsu gave or a nod while she was approaching the holocron with a nod of her head while she thought about it. Touching it as her hand moved extending the fingers and she felt the force energy pulse within it. Eyes dilating and the force energies flowing into her while visions went over her eyes letting air escape her mouth in a gasp of surprise and she felt her vibrating with the sensation of it all. She was seeing her life going across her vision with the energies of the force raising the smaller hairs along her arms and body while she backed away and saw it. The holocron in her hand she saw more into it and where she needed to go with it while she shook her head backing away a little and her brain was working to process all of it as she spoke. "Well I don't know about you but I have no idea what I saw. I think it will take time to figure it out." She wasn't going to try again while standing there and she looked at the sunrider's holocron holding it with a smile. "Though I do know where we should go now, if you are still up for it and not bored of my company we have something that might be able to help."

Kay watched over her friend as she saw one of her potential futures. As expected, Matsu was at a loss for words. "Sure, I'll go with you. We've been making really good time on this trip." She smiled.

"We have been haven't we." Matsu said it more in surprise and well she hadn't really been paying attention to the time it had taken. They had gone around the galaxy somewhat and still managed to not get bored which was the great thing while she was letting her hands dance over the holocron while securing it on her belt and standing there. One hand bringing up her map and the other setting the course as the coordinates seemed to be almost engraved within her brain. She knew where to go and how to get there.. or at least she knew the song to get there. The gree's musical notes on their navigational computers corresponding to coordinates on the galaxy map if you knew how to understand them. "We're going someplace I fon't think a human has stepped foot into in over ten thousand years but I saw the coordinates. The gree's vaults were lost to records the republic had but not to the gree or some of the stranger things. All that history."

Kay was impressed. Matsu was one of the best multi-taskers that she had ever seen. She was able to navigate through starcharts all while carrying on a conversation that was only a little bit related to what was going on. To her description of the next destination, she raised a brow. "Over ten thousand years? Why so long?..."

Matsu was looking at her as she walked. "The gree are good people but they are very well their trust gets abused. Their technology really not many in the galaxy understand how it works but most want it because of how much more advanced it it. Computers that can chart routes and flight paths speeding travel time in some cases by jalf, the ability to go from one side of the galaxy to the other within a heartbeat and move entire armies. Ships thousands years more advanced the most current ships but tens of thousands of years old. They are one of the few pre republic civilizations still around and don't have to trade, they can be isolated in their territory and never interact but have all they need from their synthesis technology. Make food, air, water, ships from the very molecules around them."

"Is that where you got some of your technology from?" Just from what she had heard, Kay wasn't surprised that some had taken advantage of them. Unfortunately there was always going to be people like that. It was a real shame. She made it a point not to take advantage of others, even though others have taken advantage of her kindness.

Matsu looked at her with a shrug. "No I got mine from an old jedi and an extinct race." She had been working with them and the jedi to try and search out ancient civilizations that had been around with many of the things. She had met the gree and they seemed to like her if only because she had been willing to sit there with them and listen to a few of the things. She was looking at the holocron and there was plenty of things she could see while heading back to the ship and she watched Kay. "I have a plan but well the gree are friendly and they'll like you. They have this sort of sense about the people they meet." She was making the plans but there was plenty of things they could move around and do.

Kay followed her as they headed back. "It's sad when a race becomes extinct. Everything that they had done in their lives holding no meaning to others."

She looked around again before boarding the ship. Who knows if she'll ever get to see the place again. "What's your plan?"

Matsu looked at her and gave a shaky hand. "Ehh they were kind of giant space douches invading worlds and using their technology to strip mine it and then moving on. So I can dislike them being extinct but it is a hard thing when they were known for not stopping because someone asked them nicely." She moved through the ship and was setting it up for them with the droid that had come in to meet Harmony. Matsu had a small beacon in her hand while she gave it. "Harmony has my beacon but it will mark you as a friend here for the station and on some jedi worlds." She had to wonder though for plans while setting it on the map and a dense section with no maps or charts displaying systems was the goal. "The gree's section of space is here, only a few things have star charts for the area."

Kay studied the map as best as she could understand it. Which wasn't too much as her knowledge of such things was basic.

"Marked as a friend? Well that's a good thing. I'm used to just being noticed as the stranger. But thank you. I'm sure that it'll make things easier."

Matsu gave a nod, that would be easier as they were heading out. Towards the sections of gree space that she was rubbing her hands together while bringing out the noetikan of secrets. She had used it and prepared it while she had the sunrider holocron there with her while activating it and sitting in the cockpit. They would be there in a few hours and Kay could sleep while she was meditating with the sounds of the jedi masters explaining the secrets of the force and the darkside. She might not be able to keep the holocron but she would be able to work with it and use it before she didn't have it anymore.

Kay took the opportunity to nap. It was always hard to guess when one might sleep, so she tried as often as she could. She didn't dream, but she did have thoughts that filtered through. Some of the past and some of what could be in the future. Hopefully all goes well on this next part of their adventure.

Matsu was working on the ideas of it while she continued to work on the holocron taking what information sh could in before the chrono chimed and she was looking up. Not sure how much time had passed but Kay was asleep or napping or something in her cabin that she couldn't see but she could feel it while rising up and looking at the worlds. Large vast oceans and cities across it while she was checking the holocrons map with Vima and her children guiding her down the path and offering a small grin to herself. She was ready to explre and had one of the aquasuits with a rebreather so they could go through the water. "Lady Kay when you are ready, there is a lot of water so you might want to dress warm."

Hearing Matsu's voice brought her out from her nap. Did she hear her correctly? Lots of water? Oh boy. It had been a while since she had had a swim and she wondered if she could still do it. "I'll be there in a few minutes." Kay got herself dressed in her trousers and shirt. It wasn't the warmest of clothes, but it was far better than her dress. She grabbed her satchel briefly and then put it back down. It wasn't waterproof. Best to leave it here. Satisfied for the moment, she opened the door and stepped out into the hallway to join Matsu.

Matsu was looking at Kay and heading out the planet seemed quiet, still but not lifeless as she could feel so much of it. There as life in the water and the faint sound on the wind of people talking but it wasn't loud, just there. Slowly she was going towards the water and stepping into it just enough as Matsu crouched down setting her fingers into the ocean and breathing deeply. Eyes half closed, tongue against the roof of her mouth and breathing even and calm while she was connecting and trying to find the place within the world. She could feel it behind her eyes while the buzzing got louder and searching an entire planet wasn't easy or as fun as she thought it might be before rising up and wiping her hand. "Well this world is large and amazing, so much life in the oceans."

Kay followed her and watched her as she seemed to connect with the world beneath their feet. Such power she had. Though Kay had no desire for it herself. She liked what she had which was enough to get by.

To her comment, she looked about. "Yes. They have adapted very well to their environment." She wondered how far they would have to go under the water, if at all. To adjust to the water pressure, they would have to move slowly or risk popping their lungs.

Matsu was looking at Kay for a moment and she had a grin on her face while she held out one hand. "The gree knew how to build things and we aren't going to have to go far. At least not really, the basis for their technology from the one holocron me and the grandmaster found explained their dimensional engineering and how they could compress distances and travel on planets. We just need to find a hub like that and we'll be able to get there faster then searching through the oceans." While she wasn't opposed to searching she also wasn't wanting to spend that much time here... Also she wasn't certain how big such a vault should be. It could be something small with a bridge that basically gave it a pocket of space to expand infinitely.

Kay took her hand and just looked down to the water. "Do you have any idea what these hubs look like?" At least they wouldn't be searching for a needle in a haystack. But still, if they didn't know what they were looking for, then how will they know when they had found it?
