Yes, I have tried to make it clear that we want no one to initiate attacks or use official Republic military without concent from the staff or have it run by a proper IC instance (like the senate). No single officer/politician can start a war on his own.

To use private mercs would be possible I guess but hopefully not GR military.

Sorry about missing this. I see no reason why you cant, since no one else is preparing. And its a non-combat thing so you wil most likely not have the opportunity to use it.

I have posted making the position of the Republic Military clear. We will not be moving forces into the system for any reason. The delegation has a security force and if things go bad the military will offer logistic support and covert operations personnel to get our people out but we will not engage the forces of the Mandalorians or of the Alderaanian government in the system for any reason. Good luck people and keep an eye open for the trap we all know is coming.
