Many people got caught up in the moment of doing things. I being one of them, i didn't expect either Boloon nor Adele to die so when it happened it was kind of a rush of "I HAVE TO KILL EVEN MORE OF THESE PEOPLE"

It happens, especially when there is something to gain, like a planet.

Invasions are fun and exciting. But they are hard for people to keep up when they have busy Lives. Thats why I have always loved a fair and respectful posting Order (On other sites). But that in itself could be a challenge to control in a free form setting and the multitude of writers that jump in to invade or defend the prize. So really it comes down to the writers themselves, Do you want to win the Planet by any means necessary (IE: Steamrolling) or would they rather earn it through fun and fair story telling that gives all involved a chance to rp proper instead of spamming. And such things should be discussed between the factions before the action starts. Cause i personally love getting involved in action but I always feel left behind and being overwhelmed with the catch up race because of real life.

And that being said knowing that I am a busy man i should take the responsibility on myself not to jump into infamous fast paced threads and for the most part I do.

It's a lose-lose situation. Either don't enter and miss out on the whole 'war' aspect of Star Wars, or you enter and miss out on the 'war' aspect of Star Wars.

It's kind of a joke. That's why I don't really take invasions seriously.

Invasions have their place @Bottlecap. They are not a joke, its just people forget the main aspect of this site. Its to have fun and respect each other on a OOC level when doing so. But in saying that I would in the future like to conduct a invasion where there was something close to a posting order implaced. Just to see what happens.

Staff won't enforce it on our own, but if the Faction Admins agree on it, then they can.

Edit: Invasions are whatever you want them to be. For some, serious. For others, humorous. For me, potential headache.
