Helios is not a demolitions expert. The men with him are not engineers. The explosives they carried are enough to blow apart MG nests or doors or maybe a tank, but all together, they're not going to bring down a palace that big, even with 1/3 damaged/destroyed. If they were combat engineers and Helios was a demolitions expert, or even an Architect, I could see your reasoning. As it stands, the palace is damaged, broken, and beat the hell up, but it's still standing. That's without going into discussing structural integrity mathematics of the dome alone, much less going super in depth with foundation plannings, bedrock composition, construction materials, etc. It's just basic, generalized mathematics. If you'd like, my Godfather was a demolitions expert with the USN SpecWar, my dad did explosives work with the USN Riverrines, and a couple friends of mine I do D&D with are structural architects and engineers. I can ask their opinions on the situation and get back to you? I'd ask now, but everyone's asleep out here.

If you're asking if you can pick up Popo, I wouldn't suggest it. You'd need to specialize in TK to an extent with the Force and if you try it with a ship or tank or something, you're gonna have to do it outside, which unless you really want character death, I don't suggest it. There are Skocha tanks in the field and they use a cannon that was originally designed to fire on starships in low orbit (it's canon tech. J-1 Semiautonomous Proton Cannon) and are canonically known (Clone Wars Series) to have nearly destroyed a ~1km ship between the three of them with only a few shots. Anything 400m or less will get hit by one of these things and disappear. Just a fair warning.

If you really wanna fly a ship that large into a battalion of tanks, it's your funeral. Just keep in mind that the Skochas -will- destroy anything frigate-sized or less in one shot, NPC and PC.

[member="Popo"], you do understand, I am joking. Yes I do know, but I will be raining fire on you from above. Which would disable any tanks, not destroy cause very few my ships weapons will do that

Wait wait wait wait. I'm sorry, hold up.

These tanks have guns that are meant to shoot down Shielded Starships, and they were firing directly on, and before the palace that was already damaged by explosives and Structural damage, and they weren't enough to tear down the rest of the palace that was still standing? That doesn't sit well with me at all.

We'll need to talk about this again i'm afraid, [member="Popo"]

It's penetration, not explosive power. From my understanding, it penetrates and explodes, which starships aren't usually designed to handle in all areas of the hull. Either way, there's a handful of them, and I did state that the tanks were firing on the grounds and steps. Tank crews are trained to understand their vehicle's weapon capabilities so it's no stretch at all to realize they're probably firing on the grounds or nearby, not on the palace itself. Training is training.

[member="Popo"] ether way, they are not designed to point upwards. So I would be shooting them, like fish in a barrel. If I win the duel

no their designed for it, 45 degree angle upward, will not let you aim at me above cloud level. They need to be able to point straight up, and have the range. :p

I'm going to ask that people stop posting for just a little bit while an issue is resolved, it effects the outcome of the thread.

The situation, namely the presence of Skocha tanks, is resolved. There are no Skocha tanks on the field. Situation Normal. Write at will.
