Invasion of Eriadu OOC

So this isn't a Master vs Master PvP spam kind of Invasion. We're doing things differently. This is more of a protracted, siege kind of deal. Fringe forces have used stealth ships to slip past Eriadu's planetary defences, and a main Fringe battle fleet will be following that stealth fleet out of hyperspace. Fringies will be establishing a beachhead and then working to politically influence the planet while attempting to bring down the planetary shield generators, of which there are two. OP characters will be trying to keep the Fringies contained while looking to rally enough support to throw them off world. And fleeting will happen. All in all, this should have something for every kind of character.

Rules:
1. Please don't alt spam. You're not going to win this one by having four alts in the same place at the same time.
2. People who want to fight as allies of either of the two sides should check in here and tag someone important so we can keep track of how many allies we have.
3. Wheaton's Law applies in general. Don't be a d-

This is going to be slower moving, I think, but I think everyone will enjoy it in their own way. Now go post!

I don't know how active I can be in this, as I mentioned in OP thread of it.

I have upcoming two more days of work for 12 hour shifts and after that I would honestly want to spend a couple days resting and catching up in the threads I already owe people posts too rather than mess around in an invasion You just caught me in a bad time for something like that, but if OP really needs help then I'll see what I can do.

You would still count as an ally, meaning you'd take the place of someone who could be doing fighting.

But in this thread we don't need everyone to be fighting, Judah's humanitarian aid on behalf of the Protectorate would contribute to maintaining the political influences of the Protectorate among the local population, therefore making him a valid ally without requiring him to take part in fighting itself.

Fair enough, I just wanted to make sure everyone was aware that the allies are a hard and fast limit - if you post just once and then book it from the thread, you count just as much as the person who posted thirty times.
