As HK said, you're more than welcome to post for humanitarian reasons to help the influence of the Protectorate; but I saw a point for clarification and I felt that, since we've had the issues in the past, it need be addressed sooner rather than later.

No, I certainly appreciate it. There's no need to do a humanitarian sideline if its going to take up space on the 'ally' roster.

Since I've heard Republic members asking questions, here's where they stand in this:

We have an alliance with OP.

We have a treaty with The Fringe.

BUT.

We have an ongoing Cold War with the Fringe currently. While we cannot (And will not) invade them, support for our allies (In this case OP) against the Fringe is allowed until a time where the Fringe would want to meet (ICly) and put this cold war to rest and have a full on treatment of peace.

Hope this clears up anything on the Pubs end. Good luck to the Fringe and OP. Try and keep it clean, we're all RPers here!

Also, I've spoken to the Fringe's faction owner about a tidbit I forgot. We agreed to stay out of Fringe/OP (Likely due to the circumstances that caused the treaty to have to be formed to begin with) with the exception of one or two helpers on invasions.

I'm going to abide by that. If we have 2 characters from the Republic/Jedi here, that'll be the limit as agreed on. Hopefully that'll be all that's needed.
