I took a look, there are a few issues however.

Some of the ships in question have tags/affiliations from other factions; normally this means only that faction may use them. Do you have any threads for acquiring the following ships?:

Pretty much if it doesn't list your faction as an affiliation, or is open-market or closed-market (with permission) then I believe you need some sort of thread showing how you've obtained them.

Any ships made by Aedan Miles are able to be used through the fact that I have blueprints of them sense they were in almost every aspect made IC by me.

EDIT: Some of them, anyways. All of us apparently moshed together our combined resources into a fleet because #disorganization.

I may be wrong but generally you still need to do a thread to actually produce them. That's how it's been with large canon ships; an example of which would be the Imperial Remnant.

Edit: this would be for continuing production elsewhere and at another time..

All of the ships that are mine in queston are under 400 meters long. I did that so Aedan coudl personally own any one of them when the need pressed him. Therefore no thread is needed to be done for us to have the use of them.

The ships in question are:
Devastator-class heavy fighters
Dire-class patrol ships
Cutlass-class Gunships
Remnant-class mutlirole fighter.

The Bandon is a ship that has already been used several times and was taken as Romeo's flagship at the beginning of the SD's time as a Major if im not wrong... ([member="The Shadow King"])

The Wasp is the same reason as above ^

As for anything created by Enigma, they are either gained one of ttwo ways by [member="Særa Ayña Savan"]

A: Shes married to Circe and i myself was going to Circe for ships i myself could use.
B: The Auction i dont know so i cant really speak for this one, but i had several products that were sold including one Shard Class boarding pod, so i know for sure that she got alot of the products on the auction as i was there watching it. [member="Captain Larraq"] can attest to me watching this Auction as i had to talk to him over a product during it.


As for anything made by Aedan, he already answered.

Any ships submitted to be owned by a faction are owned by that faction.

It is my understanding that only a faction admin could ever approve to allow that ship to be borrowed by another faction. Otherwise the manufacturer would have to modify the submission to list your faction as the product's affiliation or user.

It is also my understanding that it is fine to have a unique few of certain production ships if acquired through roleplay. However, ships for example that were owned by old major factions must be obtained by another existing major faction and most have, but that also requires a thread.

This is not true for Decommisioned ships, as i had that question when Yusan began to privately use decommissioned Republic ships during his time away from the republic.

It is suggested that for Decommed ships you do a thread to acquire them and thus after doing a thread to tear down one said ship you get the blueprints for them but it is not required to do a thread to ACQUIRE them. Again pirate so this was something I was tempted to do MANY MANY times.

I have been down this route before for similar reasons when attempting to help a faction member acquire a commandship made per the old rules. The idea is that a major faction had to claim such vessels, since only a major faction can own any vessel above 1,000m but you can't just say you own them now. You'd have to do a thread to acquire existing ones or gain the blueprints to restart production lines for new ones.

That's for the decommissioned ones from old factions such as the Sith Empire or New Order but many such ships were transferred over to other factions such as the One Sith.

For the sake of preventing further debate ,as I probably don't know much more about the fact than anyone else here, I will tag an RPJ to see what they feel.

Saw you were on: Basically scroll up the top of the page but I'll include Tl;DR context below...

So it seems some of the ships the Shadow Dynasty have listed in use (Post #3) are tagged for other factions. A few existing and others non-existing. As they're not open-market, closed-market, or affiliated to the Shadow Dynasty than they should have proof of ownership of these vessels. A reference to this being done in the past is the Memorials thread which the New Order transferred most of its tech to the One Sith.
