Is this supposed to spark?

After leaving from Yavin IV under orders from the Mandalorians, Vulpesen went off to some other business, giving Alexandra some time to set her things up with her new order. Besides a bit of business from his father, a personal duty left him with a new ship to replace the one he had lost when he left the jedi. Sure Vulpesen had enjoyed his old paladin, but it was always too big, requiring its 30 man crew for every trip. With this in mind, he briefly reprises his role as Vulpesen the jedi Shadow to buy himself a refurbished YT-1930 with an enlarged cockpit and a set of extra guns. However, there were a few problems. The guns came unattached, and as with any other ship, the copilot controls were far too small for Ace to use.

After a few weeks of personal business, Vulpesen finally sent a message to Alexandra and set his course to Alderaan, doing his best to get used to the new/old ship. Though, its large cargo holds did come in handy for holding any parts Vulpesen thought he would need in addition to the new guns and what they came with.

Alex was busy tending to the garden that surrounded the lightside nexus that was on the roof of her home, smiling as she sat there and waiting for the arrival of one fox brained Zorren who was making his way back to her home. What for she wasn't all too clear on, all she knew was he was coming and she was not sure when or why so all she did was watch the sky for the first sign of Tsolan, in what ever ship he found.

Setting the ship down, Vulpesen stretched and lashed his tail out, finally turning off the vehicle. "Alright Ace, lets go." Getting up, he held out his arm as a bridge for the wolf to climb up, making his way to the Zorren's shoulders. Once they were ready, Vulpesen made his way down the boarding ramp. After a quick communication with Daeda, he made his way to Ale, stopping just at the entrance of the garden where he saw her working. "Honey, I'm home." Around the sith, he rarely even let out a word. Around her, he was free to talk all he wished... a quality seen more in his pent up jokes, sarcasm, and jibes.

She looked at him, lifted her hand, and send a concentrated force push right into his chest. "Try again." After that her hand returned to its work, smiling that he was here and her eyes fixated on his spot for a moment before looking back down at what she had been doing. She wasn't trying to be mean, not at all even, all she was trying to do was to be a bit less... cliche with their whole meeting up, and the honey im home thing, was the nail on the coffin.

As he was launched back, Vulpesen grinned and bent his legs back, naturally catching himself on the wall with a grace he had yet to hold with his new body. Sure he had the efficiency, but even that had improved. Walking over again, he stopped at the doorway. Sure he wasn't as sithish as the others, but he was still sith. "Come on, I couldn't resist." He grinned and flicked his tail. "In any case, are you gonna keep staring at the flowers or am I gonna get to see the face of the one I love?"

"Just come over here you fool." She shook her head and looked at the roof before turning and looking fully at him, her hands resting in her lap as she looked at the roof. He was certainly someone she was more than happy to see and for the moment it was impossible for her to really remember why he was here in the first place.

He let out a small laugh and walked over, wrapping his arms around her. "Well, its good to be back. Even if there is a bit of business behind it." As much as he wished other wise, it seemed most of their meetings from this point would come with some sort of business required. Still, that didn't mean he couldn't enjoy that time as well. It just meant he had to be take it as the time he could until his plans finally allowed for social visits.

"True uh.... what was that business again, i forgot why you were coming in the first place." She leaned forward on her hands and looked at him as he wrapped his arms around her and she really had not much to care for in this area of things. But hey, if it meant she could spend the day, even if working on something with him, that was more than the best thing she needed.

He motioned out the door towards where he had landed. "Well, I got a new ship and to honest, I think flying it into any sort of battle field would get me blown apart. I was hoping you could help me upgrade it since I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to wires, nuts, and bolts." For all he was worth, Vulpesen had never learned a thing about ships except how to pilot and hot wire. Other than that, he was useless as a mechanic.

"So you plan to get cheap labor by going to your pregnant girlfriend Fox face?" She grinned as she remembered now why he had come, making it into a joke and smiling wide as she was close to simply bursting out into laughter at him having had to come to her. "Dont the Jedi teach you anything about how to work on your own ships, my my they are going down in caliber."

Vulpesen lifted his head, a look of mock offense taking the place of his usual smile. "Of course not! No, my plan was more you tell me what plugs into where, preferably in a way that doesn't include electric currents blowing me to little cooked bits of fox meat. The only thing you'll have to lift is a finger... and maybe an instruction manual."

"Right, one minute, ill get Eve to help me install your new modifications. Just make sure you watch and learn you fox faced fool." She smiled and kissed him before slowly getting to her feet, she was tired of sitting anyways and needed to walk. She could not wait for her body to be back to normal and she didn't feel like a bloated hutt at all times in the day, atleast the Sickness was over, that was irritating.

He nodded and started towards the hangar. "Of course. I'll meet you by the ship." Even like this, he felt nothing but love for her. For him, it was as if there was no change at all as he watched her walk off to Eve, having had enjoyed yet another kiss. I'll never get enough of that. Using his bond to call Ace out, he smiled as his furry companion leaped to his shoulder while he sat and waited by the ancient transport.

Alexandra stood up slowly and watched him leave before looking on towards where the ship would be settled down with its new machinery. "Boy i missed hands on work..." She started on towards the airpad, her feet falling down upon the ground and lifting as she tasted the air and found it intoxicating as she could take in the smell of the engines exhaust. Even now the pregnancy left her a bit immobile in some ways, but she was going to enjoy moving around this ship and gutting it from the inside out.

He made his way in then started to pull out the boxes and crates, in which he had the parts for the guns that were to be installed. "Great thing about upgrading a cargo ship, its really easy to bring the parts to your local mechanic slash girlfriend." He thought a moment and set down one of the bins. "Let me rephrase that. Local mechanic, and ONLY girlfriend."

Alex walked up beside him and looked at him once, with a smile and stare that said 'what was that?' She really only stood there for a second before not even looking at the new parts, her feet bringing her into the ship and soon she was looking for the access panel. "Hey Vulps, call for Eve, im going to need my stuff." She started to get the panel off and crawled into the ship, careful not to over exert herself.

Vulpesen watched as she just crawled into his ship. "Well... I guess that's one way to do it." Being unfamiliar with such things, he himself would never risk it, preferring not to get zapped by the internals. "Ace." A moment later and the wolf was gone, going after Eve to fetch her. Despite only having the link with Vulpesen, the wolf was still able to speak with others, being a master of charades.

Alex looked out of her hole and smiled. "Fox Face, get over here, i need your help in tugging at something, i promise im not breaking your ship." She vanished back into the ship as a small plum of smoke rose from the hole, followed by her voice. "Ignore that... faulty wiring hit my cloak."

Vulpesen walked over, letting out a small groan as he saw the smoke. "I can buy another ship. I can't buy another you. Please don't go burning yourself up. Besides, I doubt burning Alex smells good in the A/C unit." He crawled in after her, careful to keep his tail in the center of the passage to avoid any faulty wiring himself.

Alex smiled as the soot already covered her face and she was busy striping out wires that had corroded or would cause any problems with the installation of the new units. It would be hard getting all this old wiring to work right, but she knew that she could do it if she wanted to call herself anything but a great techy.
