Judge Discussion

Why not just fight in a fuel pipe a la clone wars style? Any electrical impulse could set it off, so anything technological has to be deactivated or suffer big boom-boom. Cyber limbs excluded (Anikan's robo-hand showcasing this) to retain manipulation of said limbs, but no fancy gadgets or gizmos attached.

Too dignified for Inky and Adi, but a good one for Galen and Aya.

Our fighters find themselves at the legendary Madalorian drinking hall, the Oyu'baat. The crowd of cheering Mandalorians has formed a rough circle around the fighters, roughly fifteen meters across. The crisp autumn air is cool and clear, the ground hard and firm. It's the perfect day for a brawl.

The armed and armored mercenaries love watching a good fight, almost as much as they love getting in a good fight. The combatants have free reign inside the ring to do whatever they want to each other, but they should take care to make sure that their attacks don't spill over to the crowd. After all, if you punch one Mando, you've punched the lot of them, and what follows will be as quick as it is undignified.

In the event that one of the crowd is struck, that fighter will be dogpiled by a great many familiar faces. Stand up to their attacks and the match can continue, though it'll likely be a lot harder after having to pick one's teeth up off the ground.

Long story short, if they hit one of the crowd, I'm gonna call in every favor I'm owed to get every Mando I know to jump in to beat the crap out of them. You guys are welcome to join in the fun too.

Corr's onboard if it happens. Inky will almost certainly break out Ashrah. Pretty sure I can get Dan to break out Reyn, and Alan may or may not throw in with Plu.

Side note, we need to throw together a GBA skype chat sometime.

The fight was scheduled to take place in Jabba's palace. And, technically, it still is being held in the palace.

A few dim and dying glowpanels pierce the gloom, illuminated a large junction where several of what appear to be tunnels come together. The tunnels are about two meters tall and three meters wide, giving the fighters room to stand, but not much else. The fighters are not permitted to travel more than 10 meters down any given tunnel without forfeiting the fight. Ankle-deep water covers the floor, punctuated occasionally by clumps of something that is most definitely not water.

The air is fetid, damp, and indescribably foul. It's breathable, but only in the most technical sense of the word. The fighters would do well to watch what they shoot. Though the air around them is safe from ingition, a round ricocheting down one of the other tunnels could very well set off a pocket of methane gas. The ensuing explosion might not be fatal, but it would probably unclog the drains. And that would be bad.

See, the fight is still being held in Jabba's palace, but the palace proper is closed. The ancient sewer system couldn't handle the previous week's Hutt Family Reunion, so until the plumbers get there, that self-same sewer system is the only portion the GBA could access.

Good luck gents.

Kinda wondering how much work it would be to throw together an audio commentary track for the final fight once it's finished. Might be a way to drum up some attention for the GBA.

Due to having to pick up a second job, I'm severely cutting back my Chaos time so I'm gonna step down as a judge. I don't want you guys to be waiting on me for discussion or things when I'm probably not going to be checking this account with any regularity.

You folks stay classy.
