Well we can't ignore the NPCs either though, they will use them to win the objective if we do. If you can drive them from the Stronghold that would be fantastic, because I'm now facing 9,000 more OS NPCs coming onto the branch and another 10,000 apparently enroute.

I just got around to going through Reverances post. He's going to use these singularity mines to justify the destruction of the stronghold. He's claiming that with every Vong that dies, a singularity mine goes off. And from what I can tell, there is NO WAY to disarm or stop these mines!

Thats the thing, I was considering drawing up energy to release a large scale force bellow that way the screeching sound would halt the sporadic movement, but that would debilitate our npcs too.

It was either that or Force Flash to make a blinding light

Would that work on the mines?

I just looked it up. In the book, Lando shuts off the gravity in the ship which raises the mines in the air. Do you think you'd be able to life the mines into the air and set them off, so that when they detonate they wouldn't be damaging the infrastructure? Is that a realistic strategy?

Hmm, not a bad idea. We could attempt to lift them, could even cast a barrier around them to prevent them from detonating. What if we do that instead.

Barrier them to minimize the explosion?

Not to be a buzz kill, if they can't take the stronghold they'll simply destroy it with sheer numbers. I would honestly just recommend RPing a massive fleet reinforcement, calling in 20-30,000 troops and have them all be air dropped into the shadowlands, and have them scale the branches from all sides.

Where can I be of the most use? Can I help someone win a fight, freeing them to move on and help others as well? I'm concerned by the massive amount of NPC's the enemy is deploying while they raise hell about us bringing in reinforcements. Is there anyway I can help neutralize a bunch of these enemies?

Gherron and Sochi--> I say go for it! I'm not sure if it will work, but I don't see why it wouldn't. Vrag is a problem though, she has another 15,000 in the battle now. I'm RPing that the line is holding, but I can't keep it for every! Reinforcements are going to be needed.

....and now the hackers are apparently in our system

[member="Gherron Vael"] lets get to using those barriers, lets try for a single One around every two. This would be an awesome crash course for your padawan as well. :d or even if they explode lets still try to neutralize it within a barrier.

Got it. So [member="Sochi Ru"], whenever you're ready to do your thing, i'll bounce off of your post with Gherron. Edit: Good idea! [member="Rael sul B'an"] could be in on this as well.

[member="T-Eya Carn"] NPC's seem to be the main battlefield right now, so any Republic NPCs we bring in is a good thing.

How are you guys spawning so many NPC's on a world that hasn't had any official documented building up of fortifications other than private personal rp's and the one wiped dominion?

Like, the only reason the one sith and republic admins accepted the fortified location sub on objective 2 (with a wiped dominion thread and set defenses) was because it made it easier to work with -- it could have very well been a basic stronghold with the lack of established roleplayed defenses.

Kashyyyk isn't even a fortress world much the less have any regimented outposts assigned to it.

Keep that in mind -- icly the republic did not know Kashyyyk was even going to be invaded.

Maybe they were training in the Shadowlands! That'll make some tough soldiers.

Be logical in your use of Republic NPC's.

There would not be that many -- The location sub had in it the exact defenses already approved by both Republic and One Sith Faction admins.

Use what you *can* and *does* make sense for Kashyyyk -- do your research on the planet.

But spawning all these regimented npcs makes no sense on a world that has little to none republic establishments.
