MEANWHILE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BLOCKED PASS
Less and less Dark Eldorai ships were visible in the skies now, mostly sighted taken down and on their ruinous descent towards the surface, it seemed that the Protectorate were regaining their air superiority and combined forces of pirates and Dark Eldorai fell short against the Protectorate.
Unfortunately, the battle has been long and tough, many soldiers on both sides died during.

And now, they were nearing the final stretches of it.
As the pirates were nearing clearing their way through the pass onto the other side of the mountain ranges where the Fortress was, the Protectorate ground forces finally caught up, regrouped and prepared for another clash.
Artillery and tanks on both sides thundered once more, pounding each other, as the infantry made their war cries and repeated gunshots called out, signs of impending final clash.

Overhead, gunships and dropships soared firing off their payloads into pirate forces, a squadron of the Omega air forces broke off, heading above the mountains and towards the Fortress, hopefully, the Pirates would be too distracted with the rest of Omegas to fire off against them.
The squadron made a comm transmission to the Knights
"Iron Company reinforcements incoming to the Knight Fortress, repeat, reinforcements incoming, over."

Either way, even if this clash would be won, there would still be pirate remnant sectors on the planet, should Haven need to get off of it later on, such a way would be possible.

Well, one moment there was a Dark Eldorai with a fiery whip, the other he was gone.. because he was just directly hit with a round from a mortar.
It was another case of a quick death, with no scream or last words made, instead a nice, gory shower of blood and Dark Eldorai bits as the round hit its mark. Of course, there was also the issue of shrapnel in form of torn armor and mortal shell, few Knights, and Eldorai, were most likely impacted by the blast and said shrapnel, meeting grievous wounds and untimely deaths, although the Knights may have armor thick enough to prevent death but injuries should still happen to those in proximity of the blast.

Anyway!
Tas could see the Dark Eldorai footmen numbers beginning to thin down, the fight was bitter and bloody, but the Knights did held their own, and now there were transmissions of incoming reinforcements, plus the sound of a nearby battle in the passes echoing, most likely the main of Protectorate army would not be too far behind.
Speaking of those pesky reinforcements, a squadron of Dark Eldorai starfighters swooped down, incoming at the escort of troopers from opposite direction, threatening to either completely eradicate, or decrease the amount of reinforcements the Knights would receive by shooting down the shuttles, hopefully there still was someone in the skies, @Jorus Meeril, or the Knights had the necessary anti-aircraft guns and weapons running, while in the heat of battle, to stop the squadron from intercepting the reinforcements.

In the Fortress,
Battle was turning frantic and savage as the Dark Eldorai were becoming desperate and berserk, at this point they had little choice, it was either fight their way off, die, or be captured and most likely die.
Only remnants of their forces still survived to fight to this instance, but those that did stayed around till now knew what they were doing.
Well, the collection of elemental sciia-users would not be complete without anyone commanding the powers of ice, and guess who Tas was facing next?

Yep, the last trial was a cryomancer, clad in pale, frost-covered armor, the eye holes of his war-mask glowing with flickering blue flames, cold steam rising from them. He extended his palm towards a group of Knights, temperature of air around them dropping low, well below zero, as more frost and droplets of water showed on the cryomancer's palm. Soon enough a blast of hail and sharp icicles was thrown towards the Knights.
Temperature still dropped lower as the floor of the courtyard the combat took place in began to cover with ice, making harder to maneuver for the troopers, of both sides, on the slippery surface.

The battle was certainly heating up and turning into an epic struggle of elemental powers. Given so many beautiful colours everyone was seeing, it would have been a beauty to behold if it had not been so deadly. Alas everyone was sort of busy trying to survive to admire the beauty of it all. But if it had been a holovid then this scene would have gotten top ratings for special effects! Perhaps if Kaida and Aluk ever managed to iron out their differences, then they could retire from professional killing and go into the movie industry!

However, at this point in time it was all deadly serious and murderous mayhem. The renegades' cryomancers were struggling to keep up the ice wall and terramancers jumped to their assistance. However, the Omegan soldiers, shielded in cover, kept up a volley of fire. With the first line reloading, the second line of soldiers spewed out salvoes of bolter fire and fired both heavy duty grenades and grenades loaded with Forcebreaker gas, meant to disorient and temporarily knock out their connection to their Sciia. Both grenades were of the anti-force user grenade type, so any change in their trajectory would cause them to go off, making force pushes useless. One heavy assault trooper even brought up a missile launcher, taking aim at the croymancers and firing a fire and forget missile.

"Corporal, look! Electro guy'!" one of the soldiers holding binoculars and trying to get a read on what the fallen Angelii were doing called out to her, seeing sparks flying at the wiring where Aruk was. Kaida grit her teeth, guessing his intent. Well, that meant two problems to deal with, the pyromancer and the electromancer.

Some Omegan soldiers were caught in the whirlwind of fire and burnt to a crisp. However, more squads were pouring into the hangar. Every battleship had a large contingent of soldiers and these were fresh and eager, joining their bolters and repeaters to the ranks of those already enaged. In the long run the Eldorai would get overwhelmned by sheer force of numbers. However, for now there was the whirling arcanic to deal with. All these arcane onslaughts were taking their toll on Kaida, her entire armour was covered in frost, her lips looked frozen and cold steam came off her mouth and hands, to anyone who did not know her she would look sickly and really in need of help against frostbite. But she drew on her Sciia, sinking even more deeply into the Force and violently lashed outward, harnessing her powers to create strong and powerful waves in the air. As the temperature still dropped ever lower the winds coalesced into a powerful storm, a tempest that swept towards the enemy. But she did not stop there and gathered all the moisture in the air, all the water already on the ground as she extended her hand, turning them into powerful waves, combined with the storm it created a strong storm tide, a taifun that swept through the hangar against the pyromancer, Aruk, anyone. Such was the force that an old starfighter was puled into the air and sent crashing towards them.

Apparently the rogue force was leaping around and force pushing. Moira was not impressed by it. Admittely Exarch Kerrigan liked to use mass telekinesis to solve every problem, but she was a master at mass destruction, much as Moira would like to process her. A tank was a heavy vehicle and the energy shells fired from the cannon would have to be taking their toll on jet trooper minions.

"Target rich environment," Moira said deadpan as HK quickly rotated the tank's tower around so that it was pointed towards the pass through which the rest of Haven's minions were moving. Far as Moira was concerned it meant more organics coming her way that she could terminate. "We should play music or you could sing Mandalorian battle songs," she said very dryly, her tone making it unclear whether she was serious or just trolling. She took aim with unerring accuracy, the cannon directed at the incoming hostiles, then an energy shell was pumped out towards them as they came through the pass.

Haven watched as her own troops were eliminated and looked at @[member="Syn"] as he tried to combat her, she then heard new movement on her side and looked but they were fired upon as well.

As the masses were raised against them Haven looked back at Syn and she smirked as she decided it was time, she leapt into the air and summeraulted backwards, as she landed she looked at the tank and smirked and turned around and started to sprint away... she did some damage now it was time to escape with her life and all she needed to do was get to her pod and get out of here.

HK punched Moira's seat from underneath, aiming to make it jump up and have her bop her head on the metal ceiling above her, tank towers were notorious for low ceilings.
Moving back to the driver's seat, he pushed and pulled on levers, and pedals, making the tank churn out and move towards the pass, getting them into a secure position, but in range of any who would try to pass through the pass.
Stopping the tank and locking it in place, HK moved up to the secondary gunner's seat, cocking the repeater, he would fire as well when the enemy forces would make their appearance. And, of course, he could not disappoint his audience as he began,

The Pyromancer would soon indeed be overwhelmed.
His expanding shield was really a last ditch effort to take out as many enemies as he could before he went out, his body would soon after be seen laying on the ground, peppered with bolter and blaster fire.

As for the rest of the Eldorai,
Well, they were doing their best to keep up the defenses against barrages of bolsters and explosives. Unfortunately, the force breakers were thrown in as well and they could not do much against that. As everyone knew, there was only one airbender- I mean aeromancer and he was a bald kid with tattoos on his forehead, not exactly a Dark Eldorai type.
Most of the Dark Eldorai had air filters in their war masks, those that did not had that feature quickly found themselves disoriented and cut out from the Force temporarily, easy targets, as the Eldorai attempted to create wind and push the cloud of Force breakers away back to OP side, something cryomancers were able to do especially away.

And the winds increased, whipping at them and cutting like a tempest, thankfully they had that ice and metal barricades they conjured up to break the wind
BUT THEN A FRICKING STARFIGHTER WAS THROWN AT THEM
Crashing through the barricades and blockades which only slowed it down, they have not stopped it, with the storm swooping into the D.E. encampment as it flinged soldiers back and threw them on their asses.
The terramancers locked themselves into one place by conjuring stone skin to increase their mass and en-rooting themselves into metal floor as they lifted their hands to the starfighter. Pieces of metal and wiring began to fly off of the vehicle as it was broken down by the sciia users, creating a new, stronger metal wall in place of the segment it broke through.
"We need to get out of here!"
One of the Dark Eldorai that was flinged by the tempest, clutching his side, one of his ribs most likely broken.
The Dark Eldorai began prepping the drop skiff they used to get in to also get out, they would not last that much longer on the OP ship.

As for Aluk,
He found his targets, hiding in the little outcropping created by the terramancers when they ripped the floor, a small crater that shielded him from the tempest that raged on everywhere else.
He focused, channeling electric energy through the wires, it was time to strike back.

First, he would fry the door consoles that let to the hangar, attempting to shut the door so that Omega reinforcements would have a harder time getting there as others made their retreat. And then,
He began conjuring lightning from the ceiling directly above the Omega forces, a small lightning storm just for them, powered by Aluk's own negative emotions and their electric systems.
With each lightning came a thunderous clash, and a blinding flash of lightning.

They were drawn to the moisture on the ground and in the tempest, often once they would hit a soldier, they would jump to the next, although, most of these lightnings would be drawn straight to Kaida, the Pesky Cryomancer, combat has apparently made her quite.. moist.
The storm would not last that long, and it would end with a powerful strike of multiple lightning weaving around each other like snakes, that one was specifically meant for Kaida.

Once that attack was over, Aluk would fall back, catching his breath and pushing himself up, that was enough to drain him, he was still only an apprentice, it took him a bit to do something like that, and when he did, he could not repeat it for the rest of the day. Hopefully with this last-ditch attack he would cause enough mayhem on OP side to allow the Dark Eldorai forces to make their retreat.
He glanced to the OP front line, someday he would meet the Eldorai cryomancer again, either in a duel or on the field of battle.

Lightning - lightning was everywhere. Conjured up by the electromaniacal prowess of Aluk Magar and coalesced into a powerful storm. The door to the hangar was shut as the console was fried. Doubtless it could be blown up, but it would still buy the Dark Eldorai some time. Lightning flashed across the room, attracted by the moisture that had spread across the hangar. By now the place was, no pun intended, extremely wet, moisture intermixed with icicles and so the lightning bolts frankly had a target rich environment.

Soldiers shook and cried out as lightning jumped from one to the other as they were caught in the storm, though the strike of multiple lightning bolts seemed aimed straight for Kaida. There was little time left, the croymancer had to react quickly if she did not want to be fried, for assuredly Lavina would give her a beating for it. That is if she ever showed up for she had been sort of scarce. It was impossible to block this onslaught with her lightsabre and equally she would be able capable of conjuring up a shimmering barrier that would wrap them all in its protective embrace. So instead she drew on what reserves she had left, taxing her Sciia to the limit though her energy levels were already getting drained. Lashing out with her powers she intensified the storm tide, the ice cold tempest gained in strength but instead of sweeping across the room it coalesced around another starfighter, an old, outphased model that was a bit smaller than the one that had just been hurled across the hangar at the Dark Eldorai, but it was pulled into the air by the strong wind and pushed before the Omegan troopers just as the multiple lightning spread.

The principle was really quite simple. The fighter would capture the lightning and act as a lightning conductor as it was made of metal and so it did. As the multiple lightning strucks the fighter shook as vital parts were fried or tossed across the hangar, some unlucky soldiers were struck. However, Kaida's attempt was not entirely successful as the onslaught was simply too great and so some bolts still found their way to her. Kaida brought up her lightsabre in defence, but her croymantic, wind conjuring efforts had taxed her and so while some bolts wrapped around her blade she was struck. Given that she was rather wet she shook violently as the lightning burnt her, attracted to all the watery goodness, and so she dropped down onto a knee, still gripping her lightsabre tightly before it fell from her grasp as the last bolts dissipated, drained. The Omegan soldiers, seeing this, brought up their arms and fired mercilessly into the Dark Eldorai ranks, unleashing bolters, repeaters, grenades. In the same moment the hangar was shaken by a loud explosion as the door was blown up and reinforcements streamed in. Incidentally two Omegan soldiers were killed when the door smashed into them, but sacrifices had to be made. Regardless they joined their bolters and frag grenades with those already there.

Well things would not last that much longer afterwards,
Eldorai were quick to return fire, the walls and barricades of ice and metal busted outward, shooting in rain of hail and shrapnel at the Omega forces. Without the Dark Eldorai sciia arts supporting them, the structures would not last long either way, the Dark Eldorai preferred to warp them against the Omegas rather than let them crumble uselessly.
Soon enough, the Omegas would be left in the ship as the boarding skiffs were filled with fleeing Dark Eldorai.

The floor of the hangar was littered with dead and wounded of both sides, strewn swords and broken equipment littered the ground as the Omegas were left with cleaning up the mess after the party.

@[member="Aluk Magar"]

The Dark Eldorai retreated and had soon departed with their skiffs. The guns of the battleship fired upon them, though most likely they would escape. The hangar was strewn with dead bodies, weaponry, two broken starfighters and melting ice. As the enemy retreated medics rushed in to take care of the many wounded, for the battle had taken its toll on the Omegan forces. Kaida forced herself to stand, feeling pain shooting through her. A comrade helped her up and she was quickly put into the care of one of the medics, being led away to the med bay.

Despite the sheer exhaustion she could not help the smirk that soon spread across her face. However, she had the feeling that she would be encountering the Dark Eldorai renegades again and at the thought for the first time she felt something like a purpose. As much as she was not a fan of the Protectorate, these people were traitors.

@[member="HK-36"]

The droid did truly not disappoint. It was certainly more to Moira's taste than that crap 'Exarch' Kerrigan considered music. As more enemy troopers came moving along the pass she took aim and fired the big gun, an energy shelll shooting through to meet its targets to devastating effect. Apparently the leaping and force pushing rogue force was running away from them. A bit of a pity, a fight might have been fun, but there were always more organics to kill.

A tall, slender aging man in healer's robes helped to support Kaida, leading her out of there, he looked gravely over the messy battlefield with grey wise eyes.
"Could have been much worse, miss, did they get you too badly?"
He asked the Eldorai warrioress as he took out a bacta injector
"This might sting a bit."
He muttered as he shoved the needle of the injector through a whole in Kaida's armor, it would sting quite a bit but a soothing relief would follow soon after.

@[member="Sammo Hache-Khe of Rae"]

Kaida looked up at the healer. Apparently even she was not in the mind set to say something sexist or haughty like Eldorai females tended to do. "Not too badly. Got fried up by a couple lightning bolts is all," she said with some false bravado, though deep down she was grateful for the support. She turned briefly to look over the carnage the elemental struggle they had wrought. That was...kind of awesome, she could not help thinking, then winced as the needle was pushed through a hole in her armour, which by now was strongly covered in frost, and pierced her skin, though shortly after she felt soothed and relaxed.

Syn

Nimir-ra to Iella, Jedi Shadow
Syn watched as the woman ran off away from them, his hand on the sabers for a moment wondering how she went from a foot in front of him and being slashed to twenty feet away and running half a second later. She had taken more time then needed and should have been hit but no matter, they had a fight to win and now he looked towards the tank and Iella. Towards HK and Moira as the one was firing into the soldiers and resistance. "Iella, come on we'll help where needed."

Levy moved as she fired into the rebel soldiers. Whoever had brought them here was now paying for it which sat alright with her. No more often it was perfect with her and now... Well now as she fired the hand guns into their chest the slugs made nice little holes. "Alright Chai La move up, we have the area and secure with the rest of Omega."

MEANWHILE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BLOCKED PASS
The two armies were locked in a fierce battle, tangling and twining in a fierce dance as screams and thunderous shots rang out through the mountain ranges.
Omega's starfighters screamed by the escort of reinforcements send to the Fortress, clashing with the Dark Eldorai wing of black starfighters as they exploded in brilliant flashes of blaster armaments and missiles.
Soon enough, the shuttles with reinforcements would be landing in landing pads of the Fortress, as troops marched out of the shuttles, saluting towards the Knights and quickly joined in in finishing off the Dark Eldorai remnants, the sounds of battles in the mountain passes would begin to quiet down, a sign that the battle was calming, a victory assured for the Knights residing on the planet and the Protectorate.
"Sir, we have taken the pass."
HK would soon hear through his commlink

Tysk was running and lept letting her trench coat billow as she went towards the other side of the pass and the dark eldorai reinforcements. Her eyes tracked them taking in the fight before firing the river gun with a smirk. This was the few times when no killin was revoked and she could admit to enjoying before firing into their chest. Her eyes flicked over to @[member="Ghorumgash Khazund-Veranum"] who was in charge as it was with a nod.

"Well now isn't this fun?" Mistral moved while he punched one of the Dark Eldorai in the face. She had missed the small thrill of combat and fighting. The time with lady Aoyoshi was great but now well now he was having fun as he rushed jumping up with a slash, then coming down into the shoulder of another, spun throwing his dagger into the chest of a third while withdrawing the blade and finally plunging it into the chest of a fifth. "Lady Aoyoshi? How goes things on your end." HE spoke into the comlink and looked around

In the space,
Remnants of Dark Eldorai and pirate fleets were gathering their forces, regrouping quickly in order to make their exit, but they will surely be back another day.
In one of the ships,
Aluk was sitting among others, slightly groaning and checking for wounds,
"This was quite a mess."
One of the pirates muttered, pulling out a bolter shrapnel from his trembling arm
"And a bloody end."
He added in.
"End?"
Aluk looked up slightly as he took off his mask, his ears slightly frostbitten and his face battered
"This is just a beginning."
He smirked

@Anyone

Several large troop transports flooded the sky above Kal'Shebbol, coming to land in the war-torn central areas of the battlefields. Ramps opened the second landing gear touched the ground with armored and camouflaged troops pouring from the interior. Delila had arrived with the post-battle security. Troops to ease the burden from the soldiers that had just fought and to help transition the planet over to Protectorate forces. Not a glamorous job but a highly important one.

"Lets move! Medics fan out and scour the area for any wounded stragglers. Be on the lookout for any enemies lurking, hotspots. Flush 'em out and keep moving."

Walking across some scorched ground the troops fell into place like a well oiled machine. Medical triage was already up and running and small groups of soldiers were already fanning out to secure the local area. Putting an A280 blaster rifle on her shoulder, Dells took off towards the main part of battle to continue her command.
