"Hurry up and help them!"
He called out to his Iron Knights to help transport the heavier weapons and anti-aircraft launchers onto the walls.
Thankfully, the shuttle was able to get away during the excitement, the Eldorai were too distracted with Jorus and attack from the Fortress to keep pursuing the transport.
"At least we are not alone, that is Jorus' ship."
He motioned to the Gypsymoth in the skies, pinging him with coordinates of the incoming barges, or barge as one just went down, in a way of asking for Jorus' aid.
"Contact him on OP channels and coordinate defenses against enemy's air forces, Tas, in the mean time, I will deal with the remaining tanks."
With that, HK jumped over the wall, landing hard on the ground but tumbling to channel the momentum safely, he looked ahead the field at the couple tanks and Haven's forces left over, temporarily trapped by the mountains and avalanche, which also cut off any ground reinforcements for both sides right now.

The droid got his lightsaber, activating it as he stared across the plain at the tanks. Hopefully, there would be other super-powered droid being that would be able to join him in the fight *Cough* Moira *Cough*

Another Connor net and assorted weapons fire burned the heart out of the starfighter swarm, giving Jorus a moment's freedom to drive for the barges.

A ship this size had no business carrying assault concussion missiles, but at one point some designer had made them standard on one line of YV-929. The Millennium Falcon had similarly carried the immense concussion missiles; one had been used to destroy the second Death Star. That was the firepower that slammed into the second barge as the skiffs began to fountain out of it. Jorus pulled up, the ship screaming through the immense fireball.

Dark Eldorai traitors Boarding the ship! Needless to say Kaida was not far from the battle when the renegades penetrated the ship and stormed down the landing ramp. It was a bit of an irony really, she herself had her issues with Kaeshana being taken over by the Protectorate. Silaqui had been made throne and she was a puppet, the Eldorai people were still ignorant of the truth because Omega needed the aristos on side. Of course, they would not have accepted the truth but it still stung. However, she was part of Omega Pyre and would still do her job, no matter what her misgivings were.

So when the Dark Eldorai stormed down they were greeted by ODF troopers, in cover behinf crates and what else they could find, and came under fire as bolters thunked and repeaters were fired, creating a true hailstorm. Three soldiers were struck by the lightning shot by Aluk and were knocked down, suffering burning pain, but they soldiers kept up the volley and started lobbing in concussion and frag grenades. Kaida stood there with them, her dazzling yellow lightsabre in hand. They were traitors to her people, who had sided with pirates, so they would die. But rather than charge into battle she concentrated intently, creating waves in the air, the streams soon coalescing into a powerful gust of wind. Cold steam escaped her mouth and her skin took on an unhealthy pallour, peals of frost appearing on her skin, as she harnessed the moisture in the air, the temperature in the hangar dropping at a fast rate. A cold chill set in the room and she turned her gaze to the ceiling, drawing on her Sciia so that iciles appeared on it, hardening under pressure. She thrust her hand forward and the wind swept towards the enemy, turning into a blizzard. Under the pressure the iciles fell from the ceiling, further amplified in speed by the blizzard so that they would strike against the rogues like razor sharp projectiles of ice.

Suddenly Moira was there behind him. She seemed to have a way to just show up out of nowhere without making a sound, but then infiltration was one of her specialities. Cold blue eyes gazed upon the plain before them, noting the tanks still trapped for now by the mountain and avalanche. Two super-powered droids against a couple tanks piloted by inferior organics, that was like a vacation. Where Moira had been until now was anyone's guess, presumably slaughtering organics and making comments about how they should all be processed. Judging by the burn marks and holes she had taken a few hits, but nothing threatening, her clothes smoking slightly from several impacts. After all, nothing less heavy duty explosives and ion weapons could seriously hurt her and she carried a missile launcher with a casualness that suggested it weighed nothing, which to her it probably did, for she was power and destruction crammed into a deceptively fragile and beautiful frame, created to inflict bloody violence.

"Off to heroically and dashingly charge?" she asked rhetorically, her tone, you guessed it, impassive, though she was eager for mayhem and destruction and the death of organics. Peace bored her after all. Conflict was the true test and a good way to separate the wheat from the chaff. "Which one do you want to terminate?"

The concussive missile slammed hard into the remaining barge, exploding the ship with a rain of debris that flew into the Fortress and the swarm of skiffs that was hanging over it now. Many skiffs crashed down as a result of the debris hitting them, showering the Fortress with the burning scraps of metal as the Dark Eldorai were jumping off of the Skiffs onto the Temple grounds, prepared to fight the Knights over their own temple.

Aboard the OP ship,
As the D.E. (Dark Eldorai) were met with salves of bolt and blaster fire, few of them took hits, staggering back as they clenched exploded wounds, shrapnel and their very own armor pierced and caved in against them.
However, couple of them stomped into the floor and raised their hands in unison, at the command of their magic, the metal sheets from the floor raised as a barrier between them and the Omegan troops, allowing them to take cover, but not for that long, they needed to act fast.
D.E. returned fire from behind cover, they mostly had arrays of repeaters, both heavy and light, slugs and blasters, churning them out both at the Omegas as their sciia users attempted at slow advancing, using the metal from the floor as cover, slowly trying to inch their way closer to Omegas.

But then Kaida stepped in and plan had to be changed!
For the temperature began to decrease as she gathered moisture in the air and conjured a blizzard, whipping gusts of cold winds into the D.E. forces, slowing them down. The D.E. put forth their fire sciia users, bringing up their clenched fists to the mouths of their war-masks, they breath through them like through a tube, streams of spraying fire came out in the direction of Omegas, both as weapon and to cut through the cold, icey blizzard.

Taking cover behind one of the metal sheets raised by other D.E. sciia users, Aluk grumbled as the icey winds whipped at them
"Damn it, they have a cryomancer!"
He clenched his teeth behind his black war-mask, looking up by accident, he noticed the gathering ice sickles, most likely something that will be used as a weapon against them.
He breathed in, gathering in the power of lightning sciia, fueled in by his anger and hatred. He looked up once more, this time the wind broke the ice sickles down and towards his allies. He grunted as he clenched his hand except for his pointing and middle finger, using them to direct his attack as he thrust it out towards the ice projectiles.
From his fingers shot out with thunderous blast a single violet lightning, hitting the first ice projectile, vaporizing it, Aluk fluidly moved his fingers to the next projectile, lightning jumping to it and vaporizing it as well, the D.E. kept at it, creating a chain of lightning strikes in an attempt to vaporize all of the projectiles before they hit their marks. Well if he failed at getting all of them, at least he would lower their numbers so that not as much damage was caused.

As for Kaida, she still had to deal with fire-breathing D.E.'s heading her way.

@[member="Aluk Magar"]

Some of the Omega troopers were taken out as they were blasted by laser bolts, the others taking cover but keeping up a relentless volley of explosive bolts that peppered the metal sheets. These would undoubtedly offer the Dark Eldorai some protection for a while, but bolter rounds were able to blast through light vehicles. Soldiers hurled frag and cryoban grenades at the intruders and two troopers brought out grenade launchers, firing. Then came the fire offensive, and troopers screamed as they were caught in the agonising flames, rolling on the ground as they tried to put them out. Under cover from their comrades a small group of soldiers broke cover and tried to come at the elves from the flank, bombarding them with rounds.

Lightning whipped across the room, blasting ice projectiles and vaporising them. Kaida looked annoyed but this just strengthened her resolve. The Fallen Angelii were traitors all. But first she had to deal with the flames streaming her way if she did not want to get incinerated. Being set on fire on Kaeshana during the battle had not been a pleasant experience and she would very much like to avoid repeating it! The temperature drop and the ice spreading across the floor had given her much to work with and so she focused her powers, drawing both on the ice and her inner cold, hardening the iciles that lay before her. Determinedly drawing on her powers she sought to fashion an ice shield, solidifying the molten piles of ice that lay around her and making them arise into a shield. She breathed in as it took an effort to maintain but the shield of ice arose and intercepted the streams of flame dancing across the room. The flames dissipated, but under the pressure the shield began to melt, with Kaida struggling to maintain it.

Cold steam escaped her hands and mouth, she gave a tilt of her head to a soldier who was crouched close to her with a bolter and he nodded and turned to shoot an explosive bolt into a water pipe at the side of the room. A boom was heard as the pipe was blasted then water streamed out, waves crashing across the hangar, at the same time her shield melted and she made a gesture, directing the flood towards the Dark Eldorai, the cold wind intensifying. It would be a bit awkward to use lightning while one was wet - and not wet in the pleasurable sense, one might add. As the wave swept across the room to hopefully smash into the Dark Eldorai she focused drawing on her Sciia so that liquid was hardened and solidified into hard blocks of ice.

"How about I will take the one on the left?"
He asked his cyborg partner, lowering himself to prepare to quickly advance towards the tanks before they would be able to target them
"Are you ready? Not much time to waste, I am afraid."
He glanced to Moira, as soon as she was good to go, he would rush out towards the tank, pouncing in long, wavey pattern to avoid as much fire as possible.
When they would finally get to the tank, HK would aim to land on top of it, where he could avoid most of the fire from its weapons.

Admiral Walsh was expecting an attack. So when one came he wasn’t surprised at all, this was why he had put up all shields and put up his many fighters. His specialty was in fact fighters. So when the enemy which had smaller ships came he was ready as his ships began their anti-star fighter firing and his own star fighters began to engage them. There was no way that they were going to get close enough to boards as the many squadrons of Jonathan Walsh began to truthfully engage the Dark Eldai. This was what he was good at he laughed as his ships began to take better positions. The fight was on as his fighters began to engage the enemy in earnest. There would be no boarding today if he had anything to do with it. The bigger guns of his fleet began to fire at what they could.

"Yes," Moira gave no response beyond that, calmly loading a fire and forget missile into her launcher and taking aim at the tank to the right, holding the launcher like it weighed nothing, but then she was not an organic. Aiming for the tank she locked the target into the guidance system and with a loud boom the missile exited the launcher and took flight, sailing through the air at high speed towards the enemy vehicle so that it might impact with a fiery explosion, causing death to the trivial organics that were bunkered up inside it.

Supporting the D.E. naval ranks were the black War Barges, which were corvette-type ships specialized in anti-fighter fire support. Under their cover it might have been how and why an D.E. boarding party was able to get through, although thanks to Admiral Walsh's preparation only one ship was boarded, the one where Kaida and Aluk were dueling right now.

As for the rest of the ships,
The Barges focused on attempting to keep the numbers of Omega starfighters and gunships down as the D.E.'s send forth numbers of bombers. The bombers would attempt strafing runs, aimed towards the Walsh's ship shield generators, that would have been the first step, if it succeeded, after all, Walsh had to worry about the fighters and corvettes against which anti-fighter fire was rather ineffective.

Aboard the OP ship,
Aluk saw an opening in Kaida's defenses, identifying her as the cryomancer who has been so troubling them.
The D.E. pyromancers began melting through Kaida's defenses before the soldiers flank them, they spun in attempt to stop the flanking maneuver, spewing out streams of fire at the soldiers, one of them fell quickly, stricken with repeated bolts, the other was not so easy to down, he kept on fighting off the soldiers.
Aluk brought his hand, two fingers extended, to his chest, building up his energy once more before he channeled it outwards.
The moment the pyromancers stopped attacking Kaida's shield, Aluk threw out his fingers, aimed at her as with another clash of thunder a lightning bolt shot at her like an arrow. It homed in on her position, attracted to all the watery goodness she was conjuring up, after all, she was breathing cold steam often now. Hopefully for Aluk, the lightning arrow would be able to burst through the melting, melting at the time, shield and into Kaida, because that was all the opening Aluk had.

Before he could come up with another attack,
There was a wall of water coming on them, he scowled, this would really make it hard for him to create more attacks for a while, he moved to jump behind the metal peppered cover, hoping for the best.
Thankfully, Aluk was not the only Sciia user on his side. Before the water could clash with them, cryomancers on his side jumped in, raising up their hands as they attempted to quickly solidify the water. Ice began growing at the base of the wave, stopping as much as possible, creating an icy wall between the two sides of the battle, but not all of it would be able to stop.
Water sprinkled over the D.E. like a spring rain, Aluk and those who were wise enough to get behind cover probably got the worst of it, not many did though, and those who were wet were quickly approached by pyromancers attempting to dry them off before Kaida the Dreaded Cryomancer would be able to turn all that moisture against them.

While Moira was busy being a Rocket Girl,
HK was on top of the other tank, shielding himself from the shrapnel and blast caused by Moira's hijinks.
He took out one of the Forcebreaker grenades Omega were manufacturing, finding an air vent, he closed his mechanical claws on its cover and ripped it out. He pulled the pin of the gas grenades and threw it into the air vent of the tank, letting it fill out with the psychedelic gas that was often used to disorient the target.
Coughs began emanate from the tank's innards as it began to fill with gas, the soldiers attempted to push open its hatch, HK quickly set his foot down on it, keeping the hatch down with his foot.
"Oh no you do not."
He muttered, letting the soldiers take in the effects of the gas, hopefully, while this was happening, Moira would keep the third tank busy before they could start shooting at HK.

THE BATTLE IN THE CITY
As the skirmishes between OP and pirate ground troops was still raging on, the scout squads started to encounter the hostages in outskirts, leading them to safety, away from the battle, soon OP channels would be flooded with announcements
"Political Hostages recovered, I repeat, hostages recovered."

But when there were good news, there were also bad.
Now there were Dark Eldorai joining the fight in order to support their pirate allies. Omega's fighters and gunships began waging war in the skies, something was always thundering or exploding as the Omegas clashed with Pirates and Dark Eldorai.
D.E. also began landing their ground troops to help out the pirates, it would not be long until the dark-armored raider foot soldiers were spotted all over.

Ghor kept whipping his axe around, downing one enemy against the other. With a wild war cry, a raider Eldorai soldier attempted to jump him from behind with a sarix. Ghor turned around with a grunt and push of his hands, a Force push extending from his hands towards the Eldorai, stopping the feral attack and pushing the soldier onto the ground.
Ghor then conjured his earth magic, with a stomp-stomp of his feet he bent down with a yell of his own and hitting the soil with his hands.
The Eldorai screamed out as he began to sink in the soil like in quick sound, a slow death caused by the Khazundi Earth Magic

Ghor turned back from the screaming enemy as he noticed pirate tanks and infantry moving in the direction of the temple, sending out a signal on OP channels Miles would hopefully intercept
"Oy! Poirate forces are heading toowards the Knoight Foitress, gother forces and less head oot to intercept 'em!"

Tasgetius

Guest
Knights of Kal'Shebbol Fortress Temple

With the second barge destroyed, and debris raining down; all that seemed to need worried about were those Dark Eldorai whom had survived and managed to make it within the grounds. Though with the majority of their skiffs turning into burning hunks of metal, and the Dark Eldorai being forced to jump; it wasn't much of a worry. The fall alone would either kill them, as it seemed a few had the sad ending of becoming impaled upon one of the many spires that rose from the temple buildings. Others weren't as nearly lucky for an immediate death as they slammed into the ground and either broke their legs or other limbs. Surely even a few internal injuries would lead to the deaths of those that were now writhing on the floor in pain.

For those lucky few who had survived the fall, or managed to break their own falls upon the bodies of their fallen comrades; they had the unfortunate task of attempting to take the Knights' home from them. Tasgetius quickly rose up from his position as his right forearm was firmly implanted into the skull of a Dark Eldorai soldier next to him. His own prosthetic arm adding to the damage as the heavy metal of his suit tore into the flesh of his enemy. This would be a rather quick death as the strike was to the temple, though not so lucky for the next Dark Eldorai whom found themselves at the end of the miniature flamethrower built into the suit. The jet of flame spewing over the enemy before the body was flung from where it stood after being hit with a scatter gun at close range.

After all the Knights focused on training in Teras Kasi, a martial arts that allowed one to fight on the same level as a force user. Fighting unarmed at this point and in close range was nothing to them. Coupled with their close range weapons, a combination of scatter guns, explosive rounds, fragmentation devices and songsteel blades; the Dark Elodrai would have a difficult time taking the fortress. Tasgetius motioned for his Knights to push forward as they rushed the Dark Eldorai and tore into those survivors that could still manage to fight. Unfortunately at least one of the heavy guns was put out of commission before the barge was taken down, its barrel now a twisted wreak and the gunner being rushed into one of the temple structures for treatment.

The fire and forget missile Moira had fired sped through the air and impacted upon the tank, causing an explosion as it was consumed by a ball of fire. The surviving crew tried to climb out but were caught in the flames. While HK neutralised the second tank with the forcebreaker gas the third had turned its attention to Moira, aiming its powerful laser cannon towards her and firing.

As the heavy laser volley surged towards her, blasting a chunk of the ground Moira ran at an inhumane speed, pouncing in a long, unpredictable pattern to avoid salvoes, then rolling hard as repeater fire came her way as she got close. The laser cannon blasted a wall behind her and debris rained down, barely missing her as she leapt high and bouncing off the falling wall. She was peppered with repeater fire and smoke coiled off her, showing notable damage to her clothes and skin, but then she was upon the tank just as the repeaters turned and tore open the hatch. Blaster fire came her way as the commander shot at her and she was shaken slightly. There was a ripple on her face as the blaster rounds impacted, skin melting aside to reveal a metal skull, then she ripped the commander out and smashed his head against the tank roof so hard he died. As the repeaters were rotated her way and spewed out laser fire she plucked a grenade free from her dead foe, tossed it in the hatch and rolled off the tank.

Some of the Eldorai were fortunate enough to have jump packs, not all of them, but a portion big enough to provide an exciting fun skirmish!

Either way, when the battle entered a melee phase all hell broke loose, the Knights had their skills and training in Teras Kasi, which is awesome, let's face it, but the Dark Eldorai had their own equipment and powers.
The Eldorai at who Tas spewed fire from his flamethrower did not went down that easily, being a pyromancer, the Eldorai was able to extend his hands and stop the fire in mid air with his Sciia, he was gathering it still, about to throw it back at Tas when that strike from the scattergun came, throwing the Dark Eldorai back, unable to defend himself in time, as the fire he gathered erupted wildly, perhaps scorching his fellow Eldorai as well as the nearby Knights.

The Eldorai whipped out their Sarix, a form of energy blades although more resembling vibroswords, and their repeaters as their clashed with the Knight forces, unleashing their deadly powers of the elements. Multicolor flashes and bursts began filling the temple as the battle raged on, lightning, fire, and ice thrown at the Knights, small covers of metal and ruck erupting from the ground here or there by terramancers in order to gain some protection for their fellow Eldorai from deadly scatterguns and explosives used by the Knights. Well, at least limited protection.

As for Tas,
With a warcry, one of the Dark Eldorai Fallen Angelii charged at him, waving a sarix around in the air as the Eldorai raised his hand and with a clash of thunder, a lightning arrow extended from his palm, projecting itself in Tas' direction, threatening to hit him, hopefully Tas had a way to counteract that.

As the struggling down in the belly of the tank HK was blocking quiet down, HK slowly pulled up the hatch he was holding.
He slipped himself inside as few grunts and thuds were heard as he took care of the tank's crew. Soon enough, he would emerge from the depths of the metal transport, carrying the crewman slung over his shoulders, they had their hands and legs bound together, looking at each other, dazed and drugged out of their minds, one of them said to the other,
"Duuude, you were, like totally right, I am, like totally, starving right now, I would love to go get some, like, 'zza or something."
To which the other responded
"Duuude, totally, that would be, like, radical."
"Shut up."
HK snapped annoyed as he knocked them together, banging their heads against each other, they yelped out together in chorus
"Like, ow!"
He looked to Moira, slightly tilting his head to the two crewman he carried
"Prisoners."

As Haven and her troops made their way toward the temple she found the path had been blocked and found some of her own troops trying to blast their way through, she sighed and got out of the armored transport and walked over to the collapsed path and looked at her own jet troops Follow me and stay close she said and then turned to her other soldiers Continue clearing this and then join us

Leaping into the air she quickly got on top of the rubble and started making her own way toward the temple and toward the fight with her jet troopers following closely behind.

The arrow of lightning the Dark Eldorai had let loose shot through the air, homing in the position of Kaida, who had been responsible for all sorts of watery and icy goodness. It was probably a great deal easier to unleash the power of a frost elf here than on the hellish world of Gehenna, where everyone risked getting cooked.

The ice shield of hers had already been greatly weakened by the pyromancers and was in the process of melting, though she tried to maintain it. The arrow blasted right through an opening and came straight towards her as her shield melted, but Kaida, since trying to dodge was futile, brought up her yellow lightsabre to block the strike and the bolt was captured, though the elf winced as some of it got past and she felt a burning pain, gritting her teeth at the pressure. She staggered a bit, two of the soldiers sent in the flanking attack had been caught in streams of fire and were now rolling on the ground, trying to put it out, something helped by the fac that the ground was so covered in water and ice, though clearly they were out of action for now and would probably be very vulnerable to enemy fire. The remainder in the group furiously returned fire on the pyromancers, letting loose with bolters.

Alerted by the mayhem more soldiers were piling into the hangar, rifles up, but thanks to the croymancers on the side of the renegades a sizeable portion of her wave had been blocked by an ice wall. Kaida glowered at it, sizing up her option, making a signal to hold fire as she concentrated, closing her eyes briefly as she focused purely upon the wall. She clenched her free hand into a fist then pushed it forward, making a motion as if she wanted to punch through the wall, acting pretty much like an organic ice breaker, then threw out her fingers, literally pushing all her power into the effort to break the wall. At a spot where the wall was weaker the ice began to shatter and burst, effectively exploding with a loud bang so that the ice particles and shards flew in all directions and water flooded towards the Dark Eldorai once more, with further 'explosions' setting in. "Fire," as the bursts set in the soldiers in her group opened fire, unleashing repeaters and thunking out explosive bolts from their bolters, some tossing in grenades.

Moira looked disapproving as she saw the drug-addled and in her eyes awfully talkative prisoners. Far as she was concerned a simple blaster bolt to the head should take care of the problem. After all, it was unlikely simple grunts would know anything relevant, so putting them out of existence and sending them to Charon the ferryman was no loss. "They're superfluous," she said indifferently. "Unless we're going to process them," she added, sounding as close to eager as someone who almost perpetually spoke in a dull monotone - unless on occasion when she was talking to Cora - possibly could.

Further away the sounds of mayhem could be heard, lightning being tossed, earth breaking free, the boom of heavy guns. "More organics to terminate. Pity Maelion is not here." Agent Liates was perhaps the only one in the Pyre Moira actually liked.

HK nodded as he recognized the sounds as well, looking to the barrier, calculating for a second.
He then looked to the tank he just captured, it was pretty much untouched. Turning his gaze back to Moira, he spoke up,
"We still have one good tank with no crew, I drive, you man the turret?"
It's not like Haven would expect one of her own tanks attacking her, besides, this could lead no where but hijinks and hilarity.
