Of course, the beam of yellow Force-light, again with a narrow spectrum centered around 575 nm, would reduce in intensity as Jessica's computational power began to be drained, and her Force-batteries along with it, while still retaining its optical coherence. But, in the process, she once again made her light-sided signature glow strongly enough to be detected anywhere within the gravity well of Kashyyyk, and being even easier to detect thanks to the darkness fading. While, of course, the darkness of the nexus shattering and the resulting rise in the expectation value of the Force-nexus was a leap forward in getting those spirits to rest, the actual part about getting the vengeful spirits to rest was still not done: removing the darkness from a nexus - in broad daylight, or as broad as it can be at dawn - is not the same as releasing trapped spirits. Probably some spirits belonging to people not eaten over the years by those venomous rancors they call terentateks, but who nevertheless died in the battle for the beaches around the capital, and West Beach was the fiercest.

"Computational power: I always seem to detect that thought from you, and you always seemed to have a lot of it. But I'm more than a little confused" the padawan stated, the more confused he was due to exactly how she used her computational power.

"You see, what I call computational power is strongly related to one's mental functions, and at first glance may suggest that processing capability is the primary constituent of what computational power is, and, in effect, is often what many people perceive it to be in the context of Force-usage, but it's also about abstract reasoning, problem-solving, pattern recognition"

Valae Kitra donned her brown Jedi robes, for the first time in quite a long while. As she smoothed down the front of her robe, she felt the rough-spun fabric beneath her hands. It felt strange. But it was probably best to leave her tank tops and ratty, cut-off cargo pants behind today. The bubbly smile that she normally wore had also been replaced by a quiet and solemn expression. The circumstances of the mission to Kashyyyk carried a great deal of weight.

She left her quarters aboard the Vánagandr, and made her way towards the CIC to meet the others.

In addition to the other Jedi present, she would also be joined by the new members of the Silver Circle. It would be one of the first times they set out as a group. She could not help the flutter of nerves, it was so foreign to be in such a position – Valae never had considered herself to be much of a leader. But now, she would have folk looking to her for guidance. Just outside the CIC, she spotted the four other members of the Silver Circle and offered a brief smile in greeting.

Silently, she motioned for them to follow her inside. Together, the group of healers stood to the back. They were so quiet that the others may not have even noticed their presence, save for the force signatures that came with them.

Casually the Zabrak turned his gun to follow the flying form of Jairdain, simply using the Force to let him 'see' where she would land. But his helmet would never turn away from Karl. He could feel their connection, their.. Love? Something was there, but his passive nature was confusing. While he shot at them the most the pair of Jedi did was defend and evade. Buying time, avoiding a direct conflict.

Did Krest give out too much of his own signature in the Force? A frown settled on his lips as he thought on that, but the womans words quickly brought him out of his own head. "I thought Jedi weren't suppose to love one another?" He joked as he slowly lowered the gun. "A'ight. I'm feelin kinda lazy, so this'll do for me. I'd rather avoid fightin a Jedi as it is. You come on with me then, but I ain't making no promise should yer boy there try and get in the way. Understand?"

The comment the man made indicated he had picked up on the relationship between Jairdain and Karl. The voice was in front of her and little to her left so she turned in its direction. Karl was not using a lightsaber, so she could not hear the hum of that to know where he was located.

She ignored his comment about the Jedi not loving, but filed it in the back of her mind. Jairdain was fully aware of her emotions and accepted them. They were a part of her and not something she could deny.

Holding out a hand in the direction she hoped Karl was standing, she wanted to embrace him before being taken away by this man set on capturing her. It might be the last time they saw one another, the last chance to say what she felt for him. What she didn't know was if the Force using hunter would allow it.

"I understand."

Inside she was very afraid of what was going to happen to her. Her future with the Jedi and her life. Outwardly though, she would only show strong determination and strength. Her stomach was cold with her fear though.

Objective: Save Her

He just stared at the both of them in disbelief, he heard the words they spoke but it went through one ear and out the other, he couldn't believe it, he wouldn't. But he knew it wasn't his choice and if he wanted Jairdain alive, he'd have to sacrifice her, and hope she'll come back one day.

The world they had built together came tumbling down around him, the walls of their fantasy coming down, their future, their hopes their dreams, slowly crumbling down like the walls of an old castle, until all he saw was the nakedness of reality.

Glancing over towards Jairdain he would slowly make his way over, "Don't shoot, just let me embrace my love before you take her, this is what I ask of you, this is what I beg of you." Saying this to the man as he kept eye contact before coming down and kneeling next to Jairdain and helping her to her feet.

"I'm sorry."

He held her close in his arms his face wrought with pain, but didn't speak a word, he couldn't speak, his mind shut down, his world was crumbling around him, and it would end with that last touch, and he wouldn't know what to do.

The discussion had been tailored toward many things. For instance, they had discussed what Drakos Systems could provide, as well as future products. The Anzat had also done well in maintaining his identity, and he knew that DKS' past history of helping the One Sith was well hidden, with only very few people knowing the truth.

Now, they discussed how much money he would get. There were enough numbers for Krayzen to consider it profitable. It was like hitting two birds with one stone: the Anzat would make a profit, and he would help his ally in the process.

"Just sign here." he said, hoping the meeting would conclude.

Kashyyyk. It was a beautiful planet really, with such marvelous natural environment and living inhabitants. Almost difficult to imagine, were the horrors of war that had swept through the planet just far too many times. But yet here he was. Here. It had been at this spot, where a Sith Lord had so brutally extinguished his life. A red saber had simply penetrated through his chest. And just like that, it had been over. How long had it been? Hours, days, weeks, months, or years - eternity, for all that mattered. Time did not matter to the dead. Death was supposed to have been some form of release, an escape from the senseless, war-torn Galaxy of the living. Yet for him, death had been pain and regret. Death had been about fading away into irrelevance.

Was he another one of those vengeful spirits? No, not at least from what he could tell. He looked towards the direction of Kachirho. A site of another tragedy. He disapproved of those restless dead still lingering in the area. They and their disruptive paranormal actions that were causing such needless harm to the local inhabitants. He wish he was still the lively Jedi Knight he once had been and help defend the locals. But now, he was no longer anything. And the dead had no business interfering with the world of the living.

His remembrance of himself, his very identity, were now only just distant memories. Surely, if he could just speak to a capable enough living Force-User, the memories or at least the important ones would all come back to him. But perhaps that was too much to hope for. He looked up towards the orbit. He felt someone's presence. Someone potentially capable enough to talk to him. Was it a he or a she? He couldn't tell as of now. He would patiently wait, for the time being.

The gun came up as the pair moved closer together, but this was just a casual reminder not to try anything funny. As they hugged he would click on the com to his Trandoshan ally. "I have her. Finish up, we're leaving." It was after the hug that he stepped over, still wary of an assault from the Jedi, to lay a hand on the womans shoulder. "Come on, I'm not gunna wait for your allies to show up."

Karl's hands wrapped around hers, drawing her to her feet and into one last embrace. They stood there for moments under the watchful eyes of Krest.

"It is my choice, Karl. Tell the others what has happened here. I love you."

Their brief moment of what might have been called privacy, a hand came down on Jairdain's shoulder. Letting go of Karl, she turned to hunter as he spoke about not waiting for any other allies to show up. She still displayed her brave face, but that fear was still buried and held contained within her box of emotions.

This person could use the Force and would know her own emotions about this. There was confusion since Jairdain had no idea why she was even a target, but not anger. Fear at the situation, herself and future. The details of her thoughts he may not know, but the feelings he would.

She would wait for him to move since she couldn't see anything and allow him to guide her where he wanted. At the moment, her life was in the hands of this hunter. He wanted her alive, so Jairdain held no fear of death at this time.

He looked into her eyes softly, wanting to do something, anything to save her, but it was too late for that, and he coudln't do anything, but watch.

"I know it is, of course I will tell them what happened. I love you too..."

Looking at her as she spoke he gave her short answers in turn and then as he went to go more a hand came down o Jairdain's shoulder and he looked up towards the Sith and just stared at him, his emotions flaring up, but he didn't do anything, because he couldn't her words binded him there, unable to do anything, except watch.

He let go of her embrace and just stood there staring at them as they began making their way off, his heart shattering with each step. Each footfall stepping on what was left of his defeated and destroyed world.

The emotions he held close as a Jedi were going unchecked flowing around him in a flurry, unable to think about them, or care to control them and think about what he was doing, he just stared after them, the scene that would play in his mind forever after.

Krest would lead the blind Jedi away, but after they were a distance from [member="Karl J. Winters"] the Zabrak would turn his large gun on the Jedi. A single shot was fired and the bullet would slam into the ground before him. A warning to not follow, and more importantly to confuse [member="Jairdain"] . Another of the darts was pressed into her shoulder to keep her connection severed, and the masked man would level the gun with the side of her head and simply bring up a single finger to where his lips would be. The message would be clear.

Stay quiet, or I'll kill her now.

For what he wanted and needed to do next, Jairdain would have to think Karl was dead. Then she would have to learn he was still alive at a later date. Complicated, somewhat, but a broken heart was far easier to infect than a solid. With this shot, Krest hoped to sever any hope the Jedi he lead back to his ship might hold.

"Removing the darkness from the nexus is a necessary step, but not sufficient, to perform exorcism on that site and lay the trapped spirits to rest"

While Jessica could use mechu-deru in a myriad of ways, and, of course, tell Jedi about what's behind the vast majority of the more mundane pieces of equipment they used, it is where she realized she struggled with the more spiritual aspects of the Force - she tended to be much more focused on a more technical approach to it. Sure it served her well in most instances, just that exorcism wasn't one of those situations where it helped as much. And yet, while the darkness' hold on some of those spirits loosened, the majority of them perhaps, the alignment expectation value is not yet where it should be. I can't do the whole shebang on my own, but I have to hold out a little longer until aid arrives, she thought, while also realizing that, even though the darkness' center-of-mass was being shifted towards the center of the beach. With that said, she meditates for a while, as close as she can to the new CoM while not taking too much darkness in, so that she can recharge her Force-batteries for blasting the darkness from the center of mass.

The hunter guided her so she didn't stumble or fall on their path. He paused for a moment and turned back to Karl, letting off a single blast from his gun. Jairdain jumped slightly at the sound, but could hear when the shot landed in the ground. A warning shot then to Karl to keep away or stop trailing them, she didn't know which since she had no way to see Karl. However, she her hearing told her well enough it did not hit him.

After the shot was fired, the continued on their way to his ship and whatever destination he had to deliver her at. Jairdain remained calm and stoic through it all. Maintaining control of her fear and uncertainty, her love for Karl was also contained. No matter what happened to her, the love she had for both Karl and Yuroic would provide her an anchor to cling. Her loyalty to the Jedi and the light would be her beacon home when this was all said and done.

And with both signatures, the Anzat had concluded the deal that he had come for. He had been seeking a contract with the SSJ, and now that he had the contract, the Dark Knight would prepare himself for the second, more difficult task, helping his allies, if they required his help.

For now however, Krayzen would return to his ship, seeking to conduct other business before he returned to Csilla.

Cambria came off as a quite an agreeable individual during their exchange. She was pleased to hear that she had experience working with the Antarian Rangers previously. Throughout her military career, Arisa had always made it a point to work as closely with her army and naval counterparts as possible to cover each other's shortcomings. It was with these experiences that she had been remolding the Rangers with greater Jedi integration in mind. Cambria was definitely someone she would want bring into the fold as a full-time Silver.

"Kashyyyk is definitely going to need all the aid we can give, thank you again for your assistance."

In a pleasant surprise,
Valae would appear inside the CIC with her troop of healers, all silent as ghosts. She politely excused herself from Cambria, leaving the Twi'lek to speak with Jerit and Valkren while she walked over to converse with her friend. Valae was looking quite different today, grungy street clothes traded in for more traditional Jedi robes, unusually sober as well. Valae appeared to be taking their mission quite seriously, which Arisa appreciated on a professional level, but she personally craved her cheery demeanor at this time.

"Hey, you," she said, reaching out to give
Valae a light pat on the shoulder, getting a feel for the rough brown linens of her outer robe. "You clean up pretty well."

"It is my pleasure, Master Yune," Cambria replied back with a respectful bow of her head as the Grandmaster took her leave to greet the Jedi healers, who had joined them all in CIC.

Healing. That was one Force skill the Jedi Knight had always struggled with. She could only heal the most basic of wounds. It was something that bothered Cambria. In the future, the Twi'lek would certainly seek more training in the skill area especially now that the Silver Circle was fully functional within the wheel of the Order.

Turning, the blue-hued Twi'lek's golden gaze looked upon the leader of the Antarian Rangers and the young Jedi beside him.

"Pardon me, Colonel, but what is the situation regarding the Wookiees? I have been mostly in the southern Mid Rim and Outer regions as of late and have not been apprised on the more coreward galactic events," Cambria inquired with a thoughtful twitch of her headtails.

As Arisa started to approach, Valae turned and offered a quick nod to her healers before stepping to the side. She greeted her friend with a warm smile, and gave Arisa’s shoulder a brief squeeze. Valae smiled but wrinkled her nose in response to Arisa’s compliment. Without even realizing it, her hand rose to touch the mess of wavy brown hair that fell to her shoulders.

“You think so?” She blushed, “I was kinda hoping that no one would notice.”

Valae tugged at the robes, feeling mighty self-conscious. But she knew that she needed to make an effort to elevate her image, especially if she wanted to be taken seriously by the others. Her dark eyes found Cambria, Jerit, and Colonel Calderon – all familiar faces at this point.

“Looks like we have a very capable group here,” She noted with a smile.

Colonel Calderon was almost ecstatic to hear someones respect for the rangers. Outside of the Silver Jedi, not many people knew about the work the rangers do.

"It's nice to have another Jedi along, Ma'am. Pleasure to meet ya."

The young soldier dropped his duffle to the ground, looking to Jerit soon after Arisa went to speak with Valae. He'd lift his arms above his head in a long stretch, preparing himself to be restricted in his armor once more.

"As far as the Wookies? We still remain direct allies with them, as of that I'd think nothing would have changed, Ma'am. At least I hope..Hate to be staring down one of those hairy fellas' when they're angry." He'd speak in reference to Cambria's question.

"Now if you all will excuse me, guess I should get suited up," Valkren stated as he leaned down to pick up his duffle once more. He knew a company of his rangers were onboard Arisa's flagship already, getting prepared for the mission to come. Should be a simple enough task, pulling security for a location on a Kashyyk shoreline while his superiors did their thing.

Valkren left the group only for only a moment, just to go discover the location of his men and get his own kit on.

Jessica took a while to meditate in an attempt to recharge her Force-batteries, while keeping her consumption of computational power at a controlled level that can allow her to have enough computational power to try her hand at Force-light again. Yet somehow she could sense a few light-sided presences coming from above, a few hours from now: they will come to finish what she started, and actually help with laying the trapped spirits to rest, or so her logic went. Upon realizing that her Force-batteries recharge faster when meditating than when she doesn't, she realizes that three hours pass and then her batteries are full once again. Once her Force-batteries are fully recharged again, she aims her finger at the center of mass of the darkness, even though sometimes when the distribution of dark-sided energy is irregular, the center of mass is just not the same as where the dark-sided energy is most heavily concentrated. However, here it is the same (within a few centimeters, but the optical coherence of the Force-light blast is not sufficient to resolve that precisely at that distance, that is, there isn't a whole lot of optical coherence to begin with) so she can aim for the center of mass without much trouble. Once again, her use of computational power spikes when Force-light is in use. As usual, she glows in the Force, but physically it's as though the nerves of her right arm are fully visible.

Instant transportation from one location to another, it was very disorienting. The highest cost was his memories. Where they gone forever? Time would tell.
Looking down Theo tried to regain his senses.

Down there on the ground, a single flower. It lay there trampled, a breath away from death. Theo knelt down. A nurturing hand carefully cupped it. The shade of the pedals was lavender? Well it was close to that color but a tad bit darker in hue.

“Not today”, there was a smile but his determination breathed life. It formed with a greenish glow around his hand. The glow caressed the purple flower. The Living Force flowed through Theo revitalizing the plant.

With the flower now healed, Theo looked up. There was [member="Jessica Med-Beq"]. Theo did not know her. He realized what she was doing. And he knew now why he was here. With an unshakable faith of what he must do, the Kashi rose to his feet. Determined steps brought him over. Maybe some soldiers pointing a few guns at him?

“You’re not alone”, Theo told the blond Bombshell. Well Theo was not shot yet. Good sign, yes?

“The Mother Ashla heard you”, Theo's hand went to Jessica’s shoulder. Theo’s hand was glowing green again. If she welcomed it, Theo was going to revitalize her energy. Kashi can use that skill to revitalize another? Living is learning, yes? The Kashi Guardian was capable. Here is the next question. Could they expel the darkness together? If not, here is the next question. Is help on the way?
