The moment that the apparent Jedi Padawan had stopped moving was the only reasoning that Zaren needed now. She was either unnecessarily secretive, or a Sith, and Zaren didn't like to be deceived. Not at all. Once on Yinchorr when he had still been a Junior Jedi Knight, he had stopped some Witch Skirmish from actually becoming full-blown when he had found their leader in a hut a few miles away, and when he had tried to cut down that Witch before the attak could build up even more, as his lightsaber descended the illusion disappeared and Zaren had been left with nothing.
It had been a trick, most likely something to waste his time so that the rest of them could escape whilst the creatures they had conjured could continue to wreak havoc. His fists had clenched back then, and at this point, he felt that his fingers were bending the material of his lightsaber hilt with his sheer strength. He knew it was not so however, it simply felt that way. Despite the lightsaber being light, it was quite durable. It wouldn't break from a squeezing or crushing force. At least, not immediately.
When [member="Daella Apparine"] had spoken and said that she had known of Diana Moridena, he didn't reply. He was thinking of how to reply to the Jedi, he had to tread carefully. He knew that. He even sensed it at the Force at this point in time. He had in fact sensed it from the beginning that they had encountered each other, but then he had known she was lying and he had felt something dark about her. Now, he was certain of that darkness. Now, he was certain of this person's true allegiance.
Once the Jedi Padawan had thanked [member="Hawke Katamirth"], the Jedi Knight pushed that off to the side of continuing to play as the frightful Learner. He didn't say anything for a few more moments.
She's waiting for more Sith to come so that she may betray me. That cannot happen.
"How long have you been a Sith?"
That was something that the old Zaren would have said, the apprentice with his friends when they were joking around so long ago. But now, this was the grown up version of the Jedi from so long ago, he wasn't a teenager anymore. He was a Jedi Knight, the Protector of Tython, and the leader of the defense of Ossus's Temple at this very point in time. Despite all that, he had still said those words, and for a moment, Zaren was determined to end this threat.
Snap-Hiss.
