Is this supposed to mean something? Of course I know you have a Skype chat. Skype is the most predominate form of communication for factions on this website. I'm quite sure you had a thread in your faction forum about your Skype chat. I had an associate in your Skype chat. I was in your Skype chat. Do you want to talk about it? Was the Covenant of the Black Rose Skype chat, like the location of its influence cloud, another closely guarded secret?

They attacked you because you were invading their planet. It would actually be more accurate to say they were defending themselves from you.

If the thread is finished, then it did happen. Just because the creature isn't approved for more widespread use doesn't mean that Sekalus didn't have at least a decent chunk of its population turned into Sithspawn.

It's like watching that split second before a car crash, when time seems to stand still and your mind pictures in excruciating detail the horrors that are about to unfold.

Going off the original post and what's come after, we can infer two things: firstly, that they have been in contact with administrators and secondly, that their accusations of metagaming and harassment lacked sufficient evidence to be acted upon. I'm not entirely sure what your intent was beyond that. To gain sympathy, perhaps? Or to persuade others to come to your aid, either IC or OOC? Whatever the case may be, this doesn't seem to have been terribly well thought out.

It's true that one or two folks might rally to your cause, but most of the rest of the site seems a little burned out on drama. Why would they purposefully take on more, knowing full well that this is only the beginning?

Non of the above. I asked tef for advice this is what he suggested to write a post. Hell I didn't even expect anyone to really even care let alone post.

Tbh I don't care for drama anymore it's obvious when I try to vent someone takes it the wrong way. I do how ever wana see people say "yeah I get the jist of this and something has to be done about the unfairness."

The people who have been here along time will know what this is really about. A lot have people have left because of others taking control and it been let to slide after it had been clearly pointed out. Damn I'd settle with someone just talking to the worst on the site by saying "just tone it back your setting a bad example and it's making the community as a whole look bad." I don't expect anyone to agree, I don't expect anyone to like me after this. Big woop that's been a normal aspect of my life and I simply don't care about if I'm liked or not. I'd also like to mention, as someone who's been in a metric fethton of faction leadership roles and has made every mistake that both sides are making here...it's real easy to go ad hominem and catastrophize when your faction is under threat of invasion. Real, real easy.

The Croa may not exist, but the Sithspawning of Sekalus almost certainly did happen. Threads do not need to be approved.

The feasibility of a reason for war is a very relative thing, doubly so in a sci fi universe, where there are such things as clones, shared memories, essence transfer, and space magic.

Like what [member="Popo"] said. Even in actual history there are really lame reasons for people to invade other countries. Most of the time its because the invader wanted what the invadee had. War doesn't always have to make sense sadly.

Back when the Red Ravens were a thing, there was chatter about the Mandos attacking us because my character broke up with the Mandalor's sister over text message.

I'm really bummed that invasion didn't happen. At the time, the Red Ravens welcomed it, even though we were the little guys.

So wouldn't Dominion a planet fall under your assessment? After all, no planet really wants to be ruled by any government type be it BR, GR, GA, TU, OS, Prime, SSC (sorry couldn't remember the new name). Objectives are muddled by "good guy/bad guy" tactics, but in the end; it's still forced upon them.

Secondly, since you were not involved in the 300 post dev thread, I'm pretty sure your 'common knowledge' of the situation would not be a very well thought out argument. Since nobody is close to Selkaus...or heard of the planet really until now, and through your blog of course, which again is based off hearsay or the proper word, metgaming. If you read the entire dev thread faithfully, you still couldn't use what you've read for a semi-educated assessment of the proclaimed knowledge you possess. Why, you weren't there. Why, nobody has visited the planet to see it's magnificent change into a well citizen friendly environment.
