So wouldn't Dominion a planet fall under your assessment?
Of course. Why wouldn't it?

Since nobody is close to Selkaus...or heard of the planet really until now,

Sekalus has listed imports and exports. This means that traders from all over the Outer Rim are regularly in transit to and from this planet. Do you think rumors don't spread with those traders? Do you think those rumors could not easily transition into verified fact as time marches on? Adarlon, Pergitor, and Karideph are all nearby populated worlds with listed imports and exports. To think that these worlds wouldn't send traders to Sekalus is silly. And when those traders come back from Sekalus, they're going to worlds that are situated on a major hyperlane- the Rimma Trade Route, where they'll probably be talking to traders from the rest of the galaxy and spreading the good word about goings-on in their neck of the woods.

Considering such basic amenities as "food" and "technology" are listed as being major imports, it doesn't sound like Sekalus is self-sufficient. It can't afford to remain in a bubble, isolated from contact with the rest of the galaxy. Don't even get me started on how most of the citizens of those worlds, Sekalus included, probably have access to the holonet. You know, the internet equivalent for Star Wars? Where photos and footage of Sithspawn mauling innocent women and children to turn them into "Croa" can easily be uploaded by concerned citizens and whistle blowers? This isn't a very complicated process.

You can't seriously expect an event like this to remain a secret in your neck of the woods (or any neck of the woods, for that matter) for very long. Unless you want to stop all commercial activity on those worlds and meticulously shut down holonet access. In which case, more power to you. When the food riots start, just turn them into Sithspawn. It's apparently worked wonders so far.

There's nothing really else to say at this point.

If you're on the map you can be...and will be...invaded. I dismiss all claims about space empires having super secret planets which no one knows about.

For the past several millennia, Sekalus has been cut off from the galaxy and kept secret. This made importation and exportation difficult. Throughout its days it has maintained the same currency system of credits, though secluded from the galactic economy; this was to avoid any unwanted attention to the planet.

The planet has kept up to date with technology since it had been forgotten by most civilizations. Small groups would go out from the planet bringing back samples of technology to be produced, this would help them keep up to date with new tech. All products like datapads and droids were at the time made illegal, unless you were a captain of a vessel.

If you don't trust the Staff member you're talking to, add me to the PM. My Staff members are open, honest, and fair - but I'll sit in if you need that warm and fuzzy feeling.

As for all the other complaints, my only advice is - there is no such thing as a PvE Major Faction.

Speaking as one of the GA's NFU folks, my character just wants to purge all users of the Dark Side, no matter if they do nice things for people or not.

Considering that's a big part of the GA mission statement, anyone associating with the Sith, with past associations to the Sith, or likes to fling force lightning around is under threat. You folks weren't singled out, you're just very close to us compared to all the other bathrobe brigades.

A giant rock floating in space with a historic population of sixteen billion located near one of the most prominent hyperlanes in the galaxy remained a secret? You're also telling me that, despite the fact that it must import food from neighboring systems to feed its population, nobody else knows where it is? Centuries upon centuries of exploration in the Outer Rim and not once has an explorer or merchant stumbled upon this planet? This makes sense to you?

Honestly. I think it makes more sense to target the Darksiders in your backyard before hitting the Empire that has been all-powerful for x amount of IC years. Waging war is a dangerous and expensive commitment, gotta make sure your own immediate area is stable, safe and free from would-be assailants.

[member="Samael Rekali"] we ain't a ds fraction anymore (just most the members are for now) we are in fact neutral and not one mention of sith is in our description. A new advertisement is in the process and even a story to show the transition and further.

That is fine, but as it stands the 'Darkside' is associated with your faction. It will take time ICly to sort that out, so you can show the Galaxy what you are really about. That doesn't happen just like that, sadly.
