Er'in was still irritated they had not permitted her into the inner chamber. Oaths to the Brotherhood, indeed! Besides, it was a _Sisterhood_ of the Sith in her books. Kaalia might have been right about this Valkyrie thing, even if... the battlefield part seemed a touch alien to the sorceress.
So in her mildly peeved huff she utterly failed to notice the warnings the Dark Side screamed into her mind - at least conciously, although anyone watching her would have noticed her calmly take off her glasses and set them aside, then shift position from her catlike lounge in one of the reading chairs to the first of the duellists ready positions for seated lunge in Makashi, her free hand dropping to rest on her lightsaber. Concious or not, Er'in was very in tune with the Force in that regard.
She blinked at the sudden sense of tension as the wards of the library lit up in response to the burst of lightside energy outside, glancing up from the copy of Darth Lumia's text on lightwhip techniques - the copy - to scan the surrounding area.
That was a Jedi Padawan standing in front of the seated Cathar acolyte who had - until now, been quietly studying, she was not in fact, going any more insane.
From off to her left, she caught a glimpse of her reflection - only not, an older her, a myriad of fine tattoos covering her skin, one half dripping blood - and her breath caught, this had been... happening a bit of late.
"You know, darling." Her reflection said to her. "You probably want to put the book down and start moving right about now. But you know, you never listen to anyone, let alone yourself. So I expect you'll ignore me."
Er'in did not in fact ignore her own advice, even as she filed away yet another bizarre encounter with herself as a sure sign the Dark Side was taking her mind and instead carefully folded the book closed and rose to her feet, ignoring for the moment the on-going confrontation so she could walk over to the Sorceror Acolyte who was her assigned guard.
"Be a dear and sound the alarm, would you? I imagine it won't respond to me just yet."
The Sorceror stared at her blankly, then glanced around the room and drew the correct conclusion, reaching down to their commlink to key an alert to the security force.
"Intruders in the library!"
