Looking In All The Wrong Places (Hanna/Kamon)

Glancing up from her datapad she swiftly moved to the other side of the hallway as to not to collide with a ground of Jedi heading her way. Taking a bite of her apple which was in her other hand she nodded to them as they passed by. Kalia was a busy bee always running around doing something for someone. Right now she was supposed to be eating lunch not checking her in box and replying to messages. She couldn't help it though she didn't have enough time to do it during the day plus she didn't want to keep people waiting. It wasn't like she didn't eat at lunch either she had the apple though now that she thought of it she ought not type and walk.

Glancing up again she noticed a row of chairs outside someone's office and headed to that area. She doubted that they would mind her borrowing the chair for a little bit. Plopping her butt down in one of the soft chairs she looked back down to her datapad and begun typing up a reply to the message she just pulled up from one of her old students.

Hanna was confused, she knew that Rosa had to be around here somewhere, she hadn't left Kamon just to visit her best friend for no reason, but now she was in an empty hall way again. Just her luck. She sighed as she ventured on. It was sort of sad that the vice Chancellor didn't seem to have map, she walked quickly and made her way around a corner. She was thinking of Kamon, and what she wanted to do to him when she saw him again.. That was when morning sickness hit... damn... She ran down the hall and towards a corner.. until she was in a pile of chairs, and she had thrown up in the hall way. Hanna then noticed that someone had seen her... great, well she wasn't really showing yet... so she would probably be asked if she was sick... and of course she had just fallen. Hanna blushed as she looked up, rubbing her butt, and other regions.. while trying to find something to wipe her mouth with.. wishing she had a hankerchief or something.

Kalia at first had just ignored the noise as she figured it was just someone coming down the hallway. What made her look up and take notice was the crash of someone falling to the ground. Setting her datapad on the chair next to her she got up and ranbover to the obvious sick girl on the floor. Kneeling down on the ground she pulled out a napkin from her pocket and held it out to the girl. "Are you alright? You don't look so good. Lunch not agree with your stomach?" Luckily the girl looked to be ok just embarrassed and sick. Kalia had seen it all before and you know what sometimes things happened. "Lets get you up and into one of these chairs. They are much nicer than the floor," she grinned holding out her hand. She would clean up the mess once they got her up. People always came first.

Hanna smiled, taking the napkin, and her hand wiping her mouth as she got up. She was really begining to not like the side effects, of this pregnancy. " Thanks... no I have morning sickness, having a little one on the way isn't all its cracked upt to be. " She sat down, looking to the woman, " Sorry, I am Vice Chancellor Hanna Lissiri, but you can call me Hanna," She smiled looking the woman over, she seemed to be a jedi, though she wasn't sure what rank. She wondered if Kamon knew her. " I am looking for my friend Rosa, she is a Knight here... but it seems she is no where to be found. " Hanna was always torn on how she felt about being pregnant, but over all it was good, she was going to have Kamon's daughter, which meant that their lives would never be the same, though she still wasn't crazy about it, it was growing on her... or it was the hormones.

"It will be worth it when the baby comes I promise. Children are wonderful." Kalia wasn't a mother herself as the opportunity for something like that never presented itself besides she was always so busy with her work. There was no time for children even though admitted sometimes she wanted one of her own. "It's a pleasure to meet you Hanna. I'm Jedi Master Kalia Vondiranach. You can call me Kalia though."She had met many politician in her life senators and the like but nobody so high up. It really was an honor to meet her and it seemed as if maybe helping someone had paid of not that she ever was looking for that of course. She naturally enjoyed helping everyone no matter whom they happened to be or not. "I have never met Rosa before but I could try and help you find her! We'll look together."

Hanna smiled " I know it just is so scary the thought of bringing life into such a scary galaxy. " Then she heard her name That name.... It threw her that was for sure.. it was soon going to be her last name... she surely looked strange as she seemed thrown... " Did you say your Kaila Vondiranach... How funny My fiance's last name is Vondiranach, " She said, it must of been a coincidence right? How many could there be. She smiled and shrugged, " We can try, its what I get for trying to surprise her.. she is probably on a mission. " She smiled and enjoyed the chair, she had been walking for a while. " I am glad to have run into you dispite.. the embarrassing circumstances. " It was strange though to run into another Vondiranach, she hadn't yet, so she was curious, but she hadn't remembered Kamon mentioning anyone.. his parents were gone, she remembered.

"I know but I'm sure that things will get better. They have to, right?" The galaxy out there was really scary because of everything was going on. She was sure that things would get better in time. They were working on that nonstop. "I have a twin brother Corbin and a younger brother Kamon but I haven't seen them since.." Sighing she stopped and shook her head shuddering a bit at the memories that had just popped into her dead. "They are dead though..I have tried to find them but have had no luck. We were very young. It's just a coincidence I'm sure. Things happen it's all alright as long as your alright."

Hanna's jaw dropped, " Kamon... Vondiranach..." She didn't know where to begin... she pulled out from her purse a picture, she always had one.. she had snuck it of him one day. She just barely got it in Kalia's hand. She didn't say anything just held the picture, of Kamon in his jedi robes, she loved him so... but well Hanna just might of found his sister?

Looking down at the picture in her hand her other went up to cover her mouth. Her hands began to shake too as she studied the picture. It looked like Kamon a much older one at that."He looks like our father. I can't believe that he's alive. I thought all those years ago that he was lost. I searched and search." Kalia was a little in shock at the whole thing and that wasn't all. Hanna was pregnant which meant that she was going to be an aunt. She had finally found her family after all of these years. "He's a Jedi Master too. Wow, I have missed so much. Can you take me to him?"

Hanna smiled... "wow... So your my sister in law?" She managed to get out. She was a bit speechless, " Of course... we will have to procure a ship, I am not scheduled to leave for a while.." She couldn't believe it. she had found Kamon's sister.. a sister he didn't even know about. She was speechless. " Yeah I mean lets go.. the jedi have ships right? I figure between a master and the vice chancellor we can get one, do you know how to fly? " She asked not knowing her self.. plus with her stomach she wasn't going to be much use anyways. She looked to Kalia to say something... she didn't know what to say next.

"Yes, I'm your sister-in-law I guess. I'm just a shocked as you are and I'm going to be an aunt. It's a lot to take in for both of us. You know I have always wanted a sister." Pausing Kalia took a deep breath before continuing. She felt a little like she was going to pass out or something. "Firefly, we can take my ship Firefly. It's over in the spaceport. I grew up with smugglers of course I can fly," she grinned as she began to walk towards the direction of the spaceport hoping Hanna would follow. "Do you think he even wants to meet me? I mean it's been forever last time he was like seven. He may not want a relationship with me." She blabbered on second guessing herself as she walked to the ship.

Hanna smiled, " of course he wants to see you, granted I don't think he knows your alive" She said wondering what Kamon might say. " I can't believe I have found you in all places but the jedi temple, as Kamon is a jedi master as well. " She said wondering how kamon would react... It was interesting. She just hoped they could get there while he was still on Eshan. " He is on Eshan. So if we go get there at a good time he will be free to see you!" She said rather glad she had an excuse to bug kamon.

"I'm sure, I thought he was dead. He's not though and he has done well for himself it seems. I can't wait to see him. It has been far too long. We have so much to talk about and catch up on," she smiled as she lead Hanna up the ramp of her ship. Kalia was very busy herself but this she could make time for. It was the family that she had been searching forever.

Plopping down in the captain's chair she punched in the coordinates for Eshan. She was really excited to get there and couldn't wait to get there. They were off now but the trip it was going to take forever. The normally patient Jedi Master wasn't so much patient right now. She wanted to be there right now and get his reaction. "I also want learn all about you too. How did you two meet?"

 

[Hanna Ike]

Hanna smiled, " Well I was leaving my office one day.. and sort of ran into him... Like I did with you..." She blushed a bit. " He walked with me.. and talked to me... not the Vice chancellor but Hana.. and took me out to eat for my birthday on a day no one else even aknolwedged it... for lunch. Then he went and took me out for dinner for my birthday and it let to lots of fun... " She said looking at her, " He is wonderful.. He makes me so much stronger.. I don't think I could do this job if I didn't have him in my life. " Hanna seemed to glow as she spoke about Kamon, it would be obvious that she thought the world of him.

Kalia couldn't help but smiled as she listened to the story. She could tell that Hanna really love Kamon just by the way she talked about him. A part of Kalia couldn't help but be a little jealous but she shook it off. It wasn't Jedi like or proper by any means. She knew better which meant that she would just be happy for them both. She so much had wanted to find her family and now she had. Kalia just hoped that everything went alright. "Your lucky to have found someone like him. I'm glad that he's not alone and that he does have someone like you by his side."

There was so many thoughts running through her head it was hard to even think straight. "We should be landing soon. I hope things go well."

 

[Kamon's OOC]

Eshan
Capital City

The cold air permeated through the building, but he ignored it. It was intentional. Being able to withstand the cold was important for him. It built up his tolerance for pain and other things. He stood in the training room, naked from the waist up, facing off with a full Echani. In his hand he did not hold his lightsaber in his hand. Instead, he held a double brand, the double bladed weapon twirling lightly in his hands.

The man across from him darted in, but Kamon quickly twirled his weapon to parry the strike while lifting his right knee to plant into the mans stomach, dropping him to a knee. A quick snap of raised leg planted his foot in the mans face, sending him flipping across the floor to land upon his back.

Twirling his blade again, he once more resumed a ready stance, waiting for the Echani to rise again.

Hanna was excited, " I can't wait... she was going to suprise him.. she hoped he didn't mind, she knew he was always serious when he was on business but she figured she could bug him. She was practically jumping in her seat. She had a sister, and so did Kamon... She looked at the older woman and wondered how she felt. but she hadn't messaged him any time soon, so when they were in range of the holonet, she sent a picture of a can of whipped cream in a empty fridge. She was curious what he would think of that. She was arriving on Eshan soon so she was nervous. " So how are you doing... this must be crazy.. you get to see your brother... I am here for you!" She said looking at her, hoping she was dealing with this well.

Kalia was sitting there doing her best to stay calm and collect during all of this craziness. This was honestly one of the toughest challenges she had faced in a long time. Sith, smugglers, and pirates were no problem for her to deal actually that was a piece of cake compared to whom she was about to meet. It was possible that after all of these years they wouldn't be able to connect again or would be too different. He may reject her or be mad that she hadn't come sooner. She was the older sister after all and she was supposed to take care of him. She had failed terribly at her job. "I'm ok..I just hope things go alright. I think I'll be better once we see him. I'm nervous and excited all at the same time. Where can we find him? Hopefully he's not busy. I don't even know what to say to him?"

Sighing she got up from her seat and took a deep breath. She was over thinking all of this but she couldn't help herself. Kalia so much wanted to get this right and not make a complete idiot of herself. "I can't just walk in there and say hi after all these years can I? Do you think he would recognize me? What do I do?"

Hanna... didn't know... " I think you can... I don't know if he will recognize you but I will be there for you.. I know Kamon loves his family and he will love you, now lets go!" She dragged Kalia with her. She had his guards tell her where he was. She just hoped that Kamon was actually still at the practice rink. She hoped that he was happy to see Kalia, as she wasn't sure she could live with her self for breaking her heart if kamon didn't respond well. Hanna put off her nervousness and dragged her towards where she thought Kamon was.. which was where ever the echani fought.. her datapad had the answers.

Hanna was nervous.. she hoped that it went well. she prayed that it went well. oh she hoped that Kamon was there, that he recognized her or at least welcomed her and that Kalia and kamon were happy at the end of the day.

Kalia did need to be dragged a little bit to the temple as she wasn't sure that she was ready for all of this. It would be alright though Hanna seemed sure of that and she knew her brother than Kalia. Hanna also was there for her which was nice. It was nice to be accepted to easily by someone she just just met. "Ok, let's do this," she grinned walking with her to the training area or whatever. She didn't know, she had never been here before.

She froze at the entrance not wanting to both those inside. She would recognize him anywhere. Her heart was pounding and honestly for once the normally chattery Jedi Master was lost for words. She was context for now just watching him and seeing what her little brother had become. Soon she was sure Hanna would drag her inside. She really was kind of like the sister she never had.
