Lost in Space (complete)

Assignment as Ambassador to the First Order had pushed Claire into different regions of First Order space. She saw reformation and need. Currently Claire was on a diplomatic mission to Bakura on behalf of the Coalition. Bakura was in First Order space she had entered First Order space without incident and had left there without incident. She would talk to the First Order about what the Coalition could do.

Now just hours out of FO space they were under attack by pirates. They seemed to be waiting for any ship leaving First Order controlled space. Claire just happen to be the next one to leave. They caught them off guard firing on them and hammering them until the only thing left maneuvering ability and minimal speed. Enough if they could get free to get to an Alliance planet.

"No YOU don't understand I am on a diplomatic mission" Before she had even finished the sentence two more volleys of laser fire had come in across the bow. She stared out trying to figure out what kind of ship was it, the markings were too faint and the ID beacon false.

"Mam, our shields won't take much more and we can't outrun them." It seemed the other ship even though to Claire's untrained eye looked about even it moved easier, and faster.

"Isn't there anything we can do?" The Pilot was trying to maneuver them away from the attacker, "Mam if you can talk to them just for a bit longer" Claire nodded, "you think you can get us out of here?" The pilot gave her a wary smile, "going to try Mam."

Claire opened the com, "I am the Ambassador from the Free World Coalition on a diplomatic mission to Bakura."

The response came quick, "LIES you are a First Order lackey and we will not tolerate your lies" Claire shook her head she could hear it in the man's voice anger, pain he wasn't going to be listening anytime soon he wanted satisfaction.

Another shot left Claire's ship without the ability to maneuver, "Mam" The pilot shook his head whatever it was he had tried would not save them, no words were needed, "It's ok send the distress signal. Let's see who comes to help"

I'd been field stripping my weapons and going over my gear in the armory when Jax came over the ships' PA system. "Captain! Jax has received a distress beacon coming from a ship claiming to be under fire from pirates. They've no maneuverability and if no help is received it's likely they'll be overrun." Stalking over to the PA system I said "Jax plot an immediate jump to intercept them all speed that we can muster and bring us in behind the pirates in stealth. Crosswire! How do you feel about testing out the weapons systems my man? We come out of FTL I want their engines crispy fried and their weapons taken out with the ion cannons."

Having finished the majority of my weapons being field stripped I slapped them back together and locked power packs in place. Going to the armor platform I activated the arming sequence and waited as my Vespera Beskar'gam armor was attached starting with the insulated bodyglove and after another few minutes my armor was secured. Grabbing my weapons from the workbench I locked them into place along the magnetic hardpoints on my armor. Locking my helmet against my breastplate I grabbed my swords and strapped them down before heading to the cockpit. Whoever it was that was under attack we'd be there soon and then the pirates would be the ones afraid and worried about survival...

A few more shots and the shields gave way, everyone that could was scrambling for escape pods.. The claxons kicked in filling the ship with the sharp sounds a voice came next "the shields have been breeched."

The pilot was fighting to keep the ship out of the way but another shot took engines, they were now drifting. Claire could think only to get everyone off, life support would go next. The ship that had been firing on them hovered as if lining up for it's last few shots. Claire stood in a passage way, "Come on come on" She waved more of the crew towards the escape pods

"MAM!" The Captain's voice was filled with urgency, if only happened to the Ambassador.

Claire looked over, "Yes I know but we must get as many people off the ship as we can." She did not want to live with the guilt that someone died because they didn't look. "WE need to look around Captain" The Captain nodded his agreement as they began going from compartment to compartment looking and calling out. "Anyone there" Claire looked into the room it was empty.

The Captain, and the communications officer were with Claire. Claire felt it at that moment the realization that someone hated them so much they would attack. She didn't want to die for certain but she didn't want to be responsible either. Claire began to cough something acidic in the air. She shook her head, "Go and prepare a pod I'll be there in a few minutes I have to go something from my cabin" The Captain had a bad feeling that her going alone was not going to go well but he would have the pod ready to go all she'd have to do is step inside. He pushed his officer into the pod, "make sure that message gets to Alderaan" He stood waiting for her. The next shot came through the cabin taking everything with it force field dropped in place protecting anyone left on the ship.

Her design book, her lively hood was in her cabin. With everyone getting off she thought she'd have time. The back of her throat began to burn, a leak of some kind? She looked around rubbing her chest to ease the burn. A few more steps and she was at her cabin she stopped for water hoping it would help. As she reached for her design book she collapsed to the floor

She didn't feel the ship rock or know that she was in deeper trouble than before.

I felt the Rogue's Salvation jerk back into realspace and heard the thrum of the stealth drive initializing. Looking out the viewport I saw the ship that'd bee attacked. Fierfeck'la Osik! I saw the ion cannons begin firing upon the attacking ship and watched as energy crackled and disabled its systems one by one. I sensed....fear and then it was snuffed out. Though that life wasn't dead either, likely unconscious due to loss of power and atmo. Speaking into the ships' PA system I said "Jax come alongside the ship in distress and prepare to open the armory airlock. Crosswire, rig the guns up to fire upon the enemy ship if it comes back online and when you're ready join me aboard the damaged vessel."

As I was already kitted up for war I disengaged the mag-point on my breastplate holding my helmet. Pulling it over my head I locked it in place and activated the armor systems. Grabbing a rebreather mask and another small tank of oxygen I hooked them together and made sure the seals were intact and secure before I locked them against my left outer thigh plate. Having done so I double checked all my weapons were locked and on safe mode. Checking over my swords and blades I headed to the airlock and cycled it through and began pressurizing the chamber before bracing myself. Suddenly the door opened and I shot forward through space. I t wasn't that I particularly thought it was a good idea to jump without at least one other person alongside me. However I sensed someone pass out...Celiana had said my powers would grow so I wasn't willing to wait or be cautious.

Triggering the micro-thrusters in my armor I began slowing my speed as I came into range of the Alderannean ship. I was slowing but not enough, triggering all the thrusters along my armor fire against my forward motion I readied the line launcher and fired it along their hull. I felt it clink into place and began retracting the line pulling me towards a section of the ship that'd been breached. Locking my mag-boots in place I began making my way towards the presence I'd felt. I suspected that the ship still held artificial gravity but that the life support and pressure had been breached and atmo had been vented. I'd seen what looked like atmo venting into the black on my way in, I felt a life-form ahead and to the right. In a cabin that looked to be open a bit as I'd suspected gravity was intact as things weren't floating around in zero-g. Disengaging the mag-locks on my boots I briskly made my way to the cabin door.

Rather than open it smoothly I simply booted it open and found a young woman with dark brown hair unconscious on the floor. Disengaging the mag-lock on the O2 tank I looped the mask around behind her head and placed it over her nose and mouth before opening the valve that'd allow air into her lungs. I wasn't sure about keeping the image of a Skull for my helm so I disengaged the filter so when she woke she'd see my face. Last thing I needed was to have her try and shoot me for helping her. Looking at my HUD I saw several boarding craft had latched to the hull. Grabbing a hold of the communications array in her cabin I said "Any surviving members of this vessel I have your captain secured and I'll be bringing her safely wherever she needs to be upon regaining consciousness. There is a cloaked ship out there that will provide cover fire for escape pods I suggest you get to them and launch if you've not done so already. "May The Force be with you."

Hopefully this woman whoever she was would wake up quickly. I really hated the idea of fighting off boarding parties single-handedly and if there was a hangar aboard I'd rather get her aboard a ship that we could defend or escape on. Sighing aloud I wondered why it was that I could never just think before jumping in. Speaking into the comms I said "Jax, Crosswire there'll likely be some escape pods launching here in the next few minutes. Cover them and Jax stick the Salvation on auto-pilot and grab those pods. Bring them aboard the Salvation and standby after securing them. Crosswire, if asked we may think about sending these pirates into the black on their smaller ships and loading these good people aboard the ship which attacked them. I may be dealing with boarding parties shortly so having you aboard would be nice Crosswire. Jax standby for an update on the situation."

Pure air she could feel it filling her lungs her eyes fluttered a moment before she was able to open them fully. She looked up and froze. She quickly ran through scenarios he had given her air so he was either a kidnapper, or someone who wanted to help. Which though. Her lips moved but no sound came up she cleared her throat it still burned.

"I'm Ambassador" another scenario flashed through her mind, "Treadway" she would give her mother's maiden name rather than the Organa name of her father. If he was a kidnapper he only know his prize was an Ambassdor, "of Alderaan" If she mentioned Alderaan maybe she'd instill a little fear. Right Alderaan, space hippies, environmentalists who feared them.

"We need to go" she was confused and uncertain but managed to speak. She would assume the good and bear the bad if it happened. She began to struggle to her feet. Reaching over to grab her datapad that got her into some of this trouble. She looked back as she leaned on the table. She pulled open a drawer and withdrew the only weapon she knew how to fire, a blaster.

For a moment as she stood there with it in her hand she thought about shooting him but if he was not a kidnapper she'd be shooting someone who came to help. "Is everyone else off the ship?"

[member="Andorreth Vikar"] [member="Trelock Relon"]

Just like that she was awake and I saw the look of uncertainty. Smiling as she saw my face and started putting together who she was I said "A pleasure Ambassador Treadway, though I doubt Treadway is a real last name I can appreciate your concerns. In regards to your crew yes, while you were still unconscious I ordered them to abandon ship. My ship is who responded to your distress beacon and is currently cloaked outside providing cover for the escape pods whilst one of my crew retrieves them safely."

Smirking as she drew the blaster I said "Begging your pardon m'lady but that's not going to do much against armored thugs intent on taking your ship and possibly you." I smoothly released the magnetic lock on several points on my armor and drew the scattergun from my right leg. Handing it to her I said "m'lady I suggest something that'll put an actual hole in an EVA suit. Rack the slide and brace the stock against your shoulder. By the way, speaking of EVA suits we should find you one before the boarding parties breach the ship. Also we need to see if there's a hangar that still has a functional ship if we're gonna get off this mess."

Speaking into the comms I said, "Crosswire what's the ETA my man? No offense to the lady ambassador, but I don't trust that the two of us can hold this ship until we can safely get a transport ship off this wreck." Looking towards the floor I saw that the notebook she'd been reaching for grabbing it from the floor I brushed some shattered glass from the cover and handed it to her. "This seemed important to you m'lady, you'd been reaching for it while still unconscious and I thought maybe you'd want it before we had to deal with boarders or other unpleasantness."

She was still getting her bearings making sure she wasn't dreaming or worse dead and condemned to a nightmare for the rest of eternity. But the voice seemed genuine she half smiled as it filtered in that he knew she was lying. She'd have to learn to be more convincing.

Oh what a relief he was saving the pods she nodded agreement and understanding. She looked down at her weapon, "It might not but it would at least stun them slightly don't you think?" She looked at the scattergun it was an alien thing to her but she was willing to learn. She took it from him and did as he instructed. It felt odd in her shoulder but when being rescued one can not be choosie.

"There might be a small ship in the hangar mostly for you know diplomatic landings not meant for long term flight. " Claire took another breath it was going to be ok she told herself.

He offered her the data pad, "Yes my life is on here." Lots of things on there everything really. "thank you, and thank you for coming." It might be premature but at least if she was going to be killed she wouldn't face it alone.

"Let's go this way..." Claire looked at the ship seems they were missing something hopefully the ladder down would be clear she wasn't sure about a lift. "You sure you will get all my people?" They were important more than she was.

Sorry for delay my net has been out

Smiling as she placed the scattergun stock against her shoulder she thanked me and I simply nodded. Following her I headed out and headed towards a ladder. Reaching down to my waist I grabbed several different micro-mines pulling them from my waist I tapped the centers then twisted. Arming the mines I tossed them out down the hall, the thin strands of razor wire sprang out and into the walls. These had live current running through them. I may not have crosswire aboard yet but I could still make it incredibly difficult to take either myself or the lady diplomat.

Looking towards Ms. Treadway I said "Excuse me m'lady, but we really should find you an EVA suit and a place aboard that has air that you can get changed into the suit. As much as it's good that you've got air I need you able to fight and not have to worry about these people intentionally firing at the air canister you're breathing from. After that we can make our way to the diplomatic vessel you mentioned. Also yes, all your people should be safely aboard my ship by the time we arrive." Hopefully she'd know a place aboard that had EVA suits and that I could defend while she got changed....

[member="Claire Organa"]

"OH" She had to think Pilot always went over everything he told her where the suits were before leaving. Claire looked at her rescuer her brow furrowed as she thought, "I'm not sure where one would be. Perhaps here in my quarters, some compartment. They would have made it easy for me to find." She wasn't sure she looked around, then she remembered with a snap of her fingers, "I remember near where the escape pods ejected they are there."

Was that part of the ship still intact? She hoped so otherwise it was going to be extremely uncomfortable. She smiled as he explained the reason why, he had a very easy demeanor. Interesting. "I'm sorry but in all of this confusion I didn't catch your name if you told me." If he had said it she had been too occupied to think about hearing it. She could still smell something acidic something venting or burning maybe.

She bit her lip anxiously the ship was obviously a loss there were no recordings or tapes that could do harm to anyone it would be some salvagers paycheck in a week or so. She had to stay in the present though she had to think and keep her head clear if anyone else boarded the ship and likely they would they would need to work together to get off the ship. Isn't that what he said, yes.

Perhaps it took time to register in her mind but they were not out of danger yet. She kept the scatter gun with her, "We will need to go down the ladder to where the escape pods ejected from."

[member="Andorreth Vikar"]

I waited as she spoke before interjecting. "M'lady I might suggest heading to the escape pod areas you mentioned as for my name...I suppose there's no harm in telling you. My name is Andorreth Vikar." I somehow doubted she knew of house Vikar on Corellia. I also doubted that she'd heard of the fact they had a capture order for me out on Corellia and neighboring systems. Not that I'd done anything to earn that other than being the brother of a Corellian prince...Shaking my head I realized I'd need to be heading back to Corellia and the core worlds soon enough anyways. Odds were helping out a diplomat might not hurt my case if I did return to Corellia...

"M'lady if I might make a suggestion, stay behind me as we make our way to the escape pods. You don't happen to be wearing armor and mine is rated to withstand Lightsabers if need be. Also, if I might be so bold as to make a request then I have something to ask that you do of me after we get you to safety. I'm...not exactly well liked on my homeworld of Corellia due to reasons that I'm not going to get into right now. However if you were to spread word that the traitor of House Vikar rescued a diplomat and her crew whilst acting with honor throughout doing so it'd help me a great deal more than credits."

We were outside of a hallway that ran parallel to the escape pods. The lady ambassador had begun heading into the hallway and I slapped a hand against her keeping her from going out. "M'lady, guards in the hall and they're too heavily armed for you even with the scattergun, allow me M'lady." With that I moved out into the hall and triggered the Beskaer hidden blade in my right gauntlet. The shadowsilk and photoreactive fibers did their job of breaking up my profile and silencing my approach. Sneaking behind the first of four guards I grabbed him from behind and stabbed up through his throat as I guided the body to the floor.

Moving a bit quicker I did the same with the second guard again guiding him to the floor. Just then the two turned and I went into a roll drawing my modified blaster pistol and switching it to stun as I came up by them. Grabbing the first guard I shot him three times in an unarmored spot with stun bolts. Letting him drop I did the same with the last guard before grabbing some cuffs from both bodies and locking them up together. Walking back over to the two dead guards I removed their helmet and after closing their eyes placed to coins each on their eyes. Looking back to the hall I'd come from I said "It's safe now M'lady you can come out." If she'd been watching then odds were she'd seen my treatment of the dead. Hopefully she found it respectful I'd been taught to honor everyone including the dead. For now we had to get her in an EVA suit...

[member="Claire Organa"]

She watched a bit shocked. She had never seen someone take a life it had been so quick and silent. It left her with no words. She had to stop for a moment she looked over to [member="Andorreth Vikar"] he had done that quite skillfully.

All indications were that it was not his first time. Claire got the chills thinking about it she had to realize the gravity of her situation now. She was alone with a stranger. She tried to take a step but her eyes were drawn to the floor.

"I've never seen a real dead body before" She was going to need a strong drink after all of this. Before she could speak again the sound of metal on the deck plates, that tapping of someone walking. Someone else was coming, she thought it was one but there were other sounds. "More pirates..." she whispered as she looked around quickly. What could they be looking for.

As if listening to her mind the answer came, "We need evidence ships logs showing where its been. This has an Alderaan registry, those peace lovers could be in cahoots with the FO. Tear whatever you find apart to get the data we need." Claire looked at Andorreth, "Can they really pull the data on where my ship has been?" Of course they could. She knew the answer so why was she asking.

"I can't let happen." She didn't give him time to answer. "We have to get those records or we need to wipe the data out." She had a worried look if only he knew how important that it was that no one know where she had been.

Well Osik, this complicated things a bit... Looking at the lady ambassador I said "M'lady we can take care of that after you're in an EVA suit. Pointing towards the hall I said the escape pods and EVA suits are jsut here anyways I caught these guys before they were able to sabotage them. I'll guard the door while you get changed, after you get inside seal the doors and get dressed you'll need to pressurize the suit after making sure that the seals are secure, I'll be right outside ensuring you're safe while doing so."

I could see the concern about the registry and records that'd passed her face. Yes...while the pirates could access those files usually there were ways to lock down areas of ships that held classified data like they were after. They'd function to keep people out but they could also be set up to keep people inside. Honestly that'd be a way to contain threats, plus I'd be able to simply jack into the security console on the outer doors and copy all of those files to a backup before deleting them off the actual ship servers. I could also send a remote charge to the servers in the ship's data cores corrupting any data pertaining to the ship.

We'd reached the EVA suit section and she'd done as I'd suggested sealing herself in the compartment. Turning to glance her way I caught a glimpse of her bare shoulders before glancing back away. "M'lady, I can actually extract that data to an external data chip and set the data cores aboard your vessel to begin a data purge. If they were to try tampering with it it'd begin an oxygen purge of the compartment I'm planning on sealing them in. As they're in EVA suits they'd still live but be forced to abandon the pursuit of that data."

[member="Claire Organa"] - [member="Trelock Relon"]

Was anything ever easy? No. Claire had studied some mandalorian considering they had lived on Alderaan for sometime before Alderaan decided to take chances on their own. [member="Andorreth Vikar"] looked mandalorian but she did not know if he was and right now was not the time to ask.

He was adamant about the EVA suit so she would have to get into one otherwise she feared he would be too distracted about her not having one. She did of course see his point about having one. They made their way down to the small alcove that housed the EVA Suits, just outside the escape pods. Claire looked inside all of them were gone they would have to make it to the corvette to get off the ship.

She felt a dull ache in her chest as she looked at the empty berths she hoped they all got away.

She looked out at her rescuer and stepped into the alcove to put on a suit. She slipped off her outfit wearing it would interfere with the suit it wouldn't fit right, and the cloth might cause some of the sensors to not function. When she thought she had it on she stepped out, "I think I got all the closures I don't feel drafty."

She could hear the pirates moving around. Her insecurities and fears bubbled up she felt that flee or fight urging her to action. She reached in for the scatter gun. She did not want to admit to her fear but it was there and it wanted to scream.

"What's next?" she whispered. She hoped no one heard her. As she spoke the foot steps stopped. Were they listening?

As the lady ambassador popped out and joked about not feeling a draft I changed the filter on my helmet so she could see my face. I looked at her as she and I heard the pirates at the same time. Reaching down to my belt I pulled a secondary belt from my waist and with two steps went behind her back clipping it around her waist. Holding my finger to my helmet in a motion of quiet I connected her comms to the squad comm channel. Speaking into the helmet to helmet comm I said "M'lady the belt I just secured around your waist is full of high explosives.... I'm totally joking about that don't freak. It's a sound dampening stealth unit tap the controls on the left side of the belt and use the slider to engage it. There's too many to simply go waltzing around even with my armor and weaponry it's not the smart option."

To demonstrate I activated the stealth field and said "After activating it you should be able to see me as we'll both be cloaked. Then follow me, you've got the scattergun but unless everything goes to hell don't use it. Now is the time to hoist the black flag and begin slitting throats. In this case though I'm going to suggest using stealth and non-lethal take downs which I will be doing I need you to watch my back as I do." With that I came around the corner and almost ran into two guards. I waited until one had started going down the hallway then came up and choked the first out. Dragging him behind a cargo crate I waited and saw the other guard raise his weapon upon turning around and not seeing his partner. He came down the hall quickly and before he could even call for support I choked him out as well and tossed him onto his friend.

"M'lady which way to the data cores? We need to make our way there and isolate everyone inside. I'll seal the compartment then cut off life support in that section. Then lock them out of the data drives, which I'll be extracting onto external data drives which I'll then hand to you." Ejecting the hidden blade on my right gauntlet and the jagged blades along my forearms I gestured for the lady ambassador to lead on.

[member="Andorreth Vikar"]

No longer looking into a shaded visor to hide the features of the man before her. She could see he had hazel green eyes with black hair tucked behind his ears. There was a hardness in his stare that told her he had seen much already in his life. She gave him a small smile and nodded a greeting. When he quipped about a belt of explosives she reached for her wait as her mouth dropped open in shock.

Claire punched his arm for scaring her considering his armor it wasn't a very hard punch. Then she stood still while he took care of the comms and explained about the what he had actually put on her. She listened so she wasn't going to make a lot of noise now. But the pirates walked around her ship in the big boots as if they owned it.

There was a tiny movement of light as she the field turned on. She was invisible? Oooo what mischief she could do in this, she looked down at her feet. So now he could see her, she could see him but no one could see them. She grinned as thoughts of all she could do what power that was. It made her feel invincible. "I need one of these maybe later you can tell me where I can buy one" - Claire, the invisible woman. CEO of Contessa disappears! Yes she could handle that.

"Watch your back, I can do that" She knew he did not mean it literally having learned only a year earlier what that term meant. She would make sure no one shot at him she owed him. She felt a surge of gratefulness when he said he would be doing non lethal take downs. It would give the pirates a chance to leave the ship. It also meant he wasn't someone who killed just because he could.

Would they have done the same if the roles were reversed? Would they have let them live?

She arched a brow as her imagination took a bit of flight Claire Organa, Pirate. Had an odd ring to it. She giggled but quickly reeled it in this was serious and she needed to get her act together so they could get off the ship safely. She took a breath and found her balance of a mature adult.

She whispered "The data cores" They were already down the ladder to the second level. Claire looked past him into the darkness of the passageway. "Down there if I remember right its the first door past the med bay. The cooling system for the med bay helps to keep the cores from overheating."

Smiling as the Lady ambassador mentioned telling her where she could get one of the stealth belts I kept moving. She'd told me to the right and the first door past the Med-bay. Glancing back at her I said "By the way m'lady you can go ahead and keep the stealth belt I have several on board my ship not like I can't get more either." As I'd been talking I hadn't noticed the guard coming out of the med bay. Bumping into I thought Kark...then I drew my blaster switching it to stun setting and came up under his jaw firing. He dropped into unconsciousness and peeking briefly into the med-bay I sighed. A whole squad.....perfect just wonderful...Pulling a stun grenade from my belt I primed it and pulled the pin before tossing it into the med-bay.

I heard scrambling and then a shout of "GRENADE!" Then the stun grenade went off shooting arcs of electricity into them dropping them into unconsciousness. Looking back toward the Lady ambassador I locked the door of the med-bay trapping the unconscious guards inside. I kept moving down the hall and looked briefly into the compartment the lady had mentioned, Osik! Another whole squad inside...Looking towards the lady ambassador I said "There's another whole squad inside. We're going to do something different here though m'lady." Pulling two nodes from the datapad on my left gauntlet I plugged them into ports on the door controls then I triggered the door to shut and lock. Secondly I disengaged the artificial gravity on the floor and engaged the magnetic surfaces in the data core room. Looking over I said "M'lady I find it's better to immobilize than have to fire any shots. Plus I didn't have to vent the compartment so there's that too."

Working quickly I saw that one of the pirates had already begun a download of the manifests. Oh no you don't! Sending a cycling burst of feedback power to his datapad I fried it keeping him from downloading the files. Plugging an external drive into my left wrist gauntlet I began downloaded the files the Lady ambassador had requested. As another thought I also scrambled the comm system in the data core compartment and on the pirate channel inside. Couldn't exactly have them calling for reinforcements while I was clearing out the data...Suddenly I saw a name flash across the screen of my HUD as I watched files be copied. I had a program to identify High value people and people of note. Senators and the like, So....Claire Organa. Interesting, not that I'd ever sink to kidnapping and blowing ships up for one person. That was just sloppy in my opinion, still I could understand her trepidation about telling me.

Looking over at her I said "Well the download is going well Miss Organa. I saw your personel file, my helmet has a filter that crosschecks data against known notable people in the galaxy. I suppose I can understand not telling me your actual name. I mean, not all captains are as friendly or good looking as me. You should know though that I'm not looking for a payday in rescuing you and your crew M'lady."

[member="Claire Organa"]

She could keep this one she didn't know what to say, "thank you" she'd have to compensate him somehow she just wasn't sure how without giving who she was away. As she began to take a step a pirate appeared in the doorway of the med-bay, Claire out of instinct raised the scattergun hoping the threat of using it would stop him just as [member="Andorreth Vikar"] grabbed him and stunned him. She watched him crumple to the deck.

Slowly she started to lower the weapon movement just beyond alerted her this wasn't over that easily. The movement of pullng the pin and tossing it reminded Claire of a dancer she had seen once, Echo. Echo had been all fluid each movement full of purpose as she had moved across the stage. Andorreth was a different kind of dancer. She heard the shout GRENADE as she turned her head away not sure what was going to happen.

When the men stopped shouting she looked and the familiar sound of the locks went into place. She stared shaking her head she finally took off to follow her rescuer.

Claire stood by the door looking out as Andorreth cleared the data from the files. She knew she should be doing it, it was a risk that he might steal the contents. Or whatever information was there that he might find worth selling. She would glance back every once in a while to make sure it was going smoothly.

She saw him stop for a moment as he turned and looked at her she knew it. She saw it there, recognition. He knew her name. Feth. He wasted no time to tell her what he knew.

"I don't know you, or your intent. You could be a rescuer or you could be someone who could think of making a profit to ransom me to my family." She rolled her shoulders trying to ease the tension. She had to smile when he said not all are as good looking as he, "I've seen a few Captains of the ones I've seen...I'd give you 8 out 10." She would try to make light of this until she knew whether he was going to get her to safety or sell her off.

She looked out the glass in the door again to see if anyone was coming. There was a voice yelling about the men in the med bay. Claire looked at Andorreth, "I think they are calling for more help. We need to get to the Courier ship and get out of here." She frowned slightly because she had been caught, "I am relying on your honor that you say what you mean."

The urgency of the situation was lessened with the data gone now to get to safety. "There's a small passage way to get to the ship it's mean to appear as part of the ship but once inside we just have to release the holding clamps and go." She had never had to use it - first time for everything.

Looking at the woman I now knew as Claire Organa I gave her my best offended look as she said I was a solid 8 out of 10. "Hmmm eight out of ten....not bad. In regards to the idea of me taking you captive it's against my principles to trade in slaves. I help people escape slavery not ensure they are enslaved." As Claire had pointed towards the hall with a hidden way to the hangar I began moving towards the hidden entrance. Gesturing for Claire to take point and lead from here I covered her back as she moved past me.

Talking to her over the comms I said "Ms. Organa, what do you want to have me do once you board my ship? I can either transport you and your people to a place of your choosing or help you take over the pirate vessel that attacked your ship. At least then you'd be ensured a ship that could hold its own in a fight. As for my word of honor I'm not exactly sure what that's worth according to my homeworld. I'm sort of an exiled noble who was framed for murder. That being said Ms. Organa, I didn't do it hopefully my saving you and your people will prove that."

"If you only want to be judged on your looks sure 8 out of 10 is great. But" She looked towards him, "I bet you more than your armor right?" She smiled not sure if he had that hurt look because of the 8 out of 10 or because she wasn't sure he wasn't going to make her his prisoner.

"I'm glad you stopped by my ship today. I'm not ready to be someone's slave, or their prisoner." She had to let go of her helpless act now. He was talking to her as she slowly moved into the hall. She was a multi tasker she thought she could talk and walk at the same time. She heard him talk about wronging accused of murder and being an exile.

She had to go down the hall a few more feet to get to the deck plate that would open to the ship. There was a bit of a concern about traffic. The pirates would be moving sooner or later. Claire couldn't take the chance on sooner, she stepped into the hall looking immediately to her right she could hear them down the hall, she then turned and began moving own the hall, scatter gun to her shoulder, scanning ahead.

"Maybe I an help you when we are out of this. I know a lawyer, I know some good investigators that might be able to clear your name. Also the Coalition is always looking for honorable nobles and representatives for the planets within our sector. There are a few ways I can repay you for what you do today." She was near the deck plate.

She slowly knelt down, she'd have to take her eyes off their surroundings to pull the handle. She could feel her heart jumping around. The pirates were looking for them heading their way.

"What to do about them...can your ship take them? Because if it means you losing your ship we just leave and go home. How would you propose we get their ship?" She lifted the handle and turned the seal cracked as she lifted it.

"Time to go.." Claire looked back, turning to pull the scatter gun up..."I'll go first you follow, don't get shot " She inched back to where she could see down counting to three in her head, she shouldered the weapon and headed down the ladder.

Moving as we talked I said "I have no intention of allowing you to become anyone's slave or captive Ms. Organa, and I am in fact more than the armor. Plus I'd like to think that underneath the armor is just as impressive I appreciate your offer of help in the form of lawyers. Though honestly information is what I need, anything on an assassin going by the handle of Five. So your investigators could help with that, in terms of joining a coalition I may think about it..." As Claire bent down towards the deckplate I pulled several mines from my belt and primed them before tossing them back behind us. The compressed air cylinders triggered shooting out the razor wiring lines into the walls then the micro generators inside triggered running live current through the razor wire. If either the wires were cut or run into electrocution, while being shredded, not to mention the explosive charges in the mines.

Looking back at Claire as I kicked over some metal boxes for cover I said "My ship is more for a smaller crew honestly but we can always set up the hangar as temporary housing until we make it to your destination of choice. If we were to simply take the ship that attacked you though we'd have to infiltrate the ship from the outside after disabling their sensors. Then we board it via an airlock on an isolated part of the ship and begin to take the ship section by section. Quick, quiet, and relatively cleanly. Knockout gas, stun grenades and stun rounds. Minimum of bloodshed and we can program their escape pods to dock with this ship. Or send them out aboard a shuttle that is programmed to dock with this ship ensuring they can't get back aboard until they reprogram everything. By that time we'd all be gone. Sound like a plan M'lady?" She popped the seal and went first into the breach with me behind her soon enough we'd see if she wanted a new ship...
