Lost in Space (complete)

"OH I wasn't thinking much on it I mean I thought maybe well that um that first you might have a wife, girlfriend, and then I settled on sister." She smiled she really wasn't one to try and hide her thoughts on matters such as this. It was an innocent enough thought, "That's quite a racket you have going though Andorreth, rescuing women from terrible circumstances, getting their clothes, inviting them to dinner" She was teasing him, "Serving as ner kal you might find a little boring but I will see you at dinner"

With that she slipped into the room leaving him with her parting words inside she began peeling off the evac suit it had been a little easier to get on than off. She stood in front of a mirror looking at her face. She had streaks of gray on her face, must be from the smoke, she looked tired, that had to be the stress and her hair was flat. Yeah and if anyone stood too close she was sure to offend their sense of smell. She needed a shower.

She went in and turned on the water allowing it to run just a bit to warm up with she slid the EVAC suite into the hall for the droid.

It was a welcome site a bath full of steam she stepped inside and let the water wash away everything, stress, dirt, and the tension from her shoulders, arms, and legs. She would feel almost like a new woman when she got done.

She sighed heavily once done and just as promised she found the clothes. Shorts and a T shirt, oh and look slippers to run around the halls in. The delicate were just that delicate whoever had chosen them had good taste. She dressed, her hair still damp hung about her shoulders, her eyes were clearer she still looked like she hadn't slept in a week but she was clean.

She stepped into the corridor unsure of which way to go she slowly walked down the corridor hoping something would say HERE YOU HAVE ARRIVED. These moments however gave her time to look at the ship a bit more it would seem the same to everyone else but truly how the ribs of the ship met, the gentle curves, the rivets, the lights of muted yellow and orange. She liked this it was well made.

Having heard Claire's words and joking set me at ease. She'd referred to me as ner'kad.....her saber which was an interesting change. I let the hot water wash over me and with the mint soap and conditioner I had ran through and scrubbed myself while washing the smell of smoke, blood, and weapons fire out of my hair. After rinsing the soap out of my hair and off my body I grabbed a towel and quickly dried off before I toweled off my hair. Grabbing some clean athletic shorts and a charcoal grey shirt that clung to my upper body I got dressed. Realizing if Claire had already finished showering or taking a bath and was dressed and her guard was still taking care of the prisoner she'd likely be in a bit of trouble.

Activating the lighting underneath the floor panels I showed her the route to my quarters so at least she'd have an escort to the dining hall. Ensuring that the cord around my neck still held the saber crystals I slipped my family ring off the cord and onto my right ring finger. Then re-tying the cord around my neck I slipped into some simple workout shoes that were for just general use and headed out my door. I leaned against the frame of the door and waited for Claire to rejoin me. Meanwhile I contemplated actually going ahead and contacting Seras....She was why I was uneasy about Ordo as she'd been called Dar'manda by them a good few years ago. Kind of why she'd come to Corellia in the first place.

Seras Prudii'kad, shadow saber she'd beem told that she'd embraced darkness for so long that she'd become Dar'manda. Thing was she'd owned the fact that she constantly carried that with her when she'd started training me. I was curious how she'd been....Then again with my luck it wouldn't be long before she made herself known to me again especially considering Claire was helping me legally regain my title as nobility. Probably before we would land on Alderaan let alone Corellia I'd hear from her again.... In any event she'd always said wait patiently to shoot whatever or whoever didn't sit right with you. So I'd wait to hear from her....

As she walked along lost in her thoughts she tried not to think about Tory. She had tried looking for her a number of times and each time she was unsuccessful. What if they really had her all this time? Claire felt guilt seeping in as the older sister she had failed to protect her. Her parents would be so disappointed in her right now. What if she had looked longer would she have found her? What if it wasn't Tory at all and just a ploy? Something inside her said that it wasn't a ploy which only made her heart sink.

She shook her head looking out a viewport trying not to let emotions overwhelm her. She could see a reflection of herself. Here she was dressed in light blue shorts, a soft white T-shirt with scoop neckline, and soft soled shoes for walking around she had more than she needed. How many people were someone's pet right now? How many could use help? Why didn't she look longer for Tory?

She was lost on that, unsure of how to answer or reason it out. Claire decided that for now she would just try to relax in an hour she could think on it again. OH she forgot to contact Alderaan. Feth. What was wrong with her? How could she forget something so important?

She thought about Andorreth again. She had called him Ner'Kad, her saber he had pledged himself to her to be the blade that went after the pirates and to be part of her detail. That technically made him hers. And kad saber, kal blade which suited him better. Either way he was now part of her life. Where she went he would go least until all of this was settled.

She moved down the hall and saw Andorreth standing there relaxed and standing as if he were on under a light on a street corner waiting for a ride. But he still had that look that something was bothering him. "What's bothering you Andorreth, I see it in your eyes you've got that far away look. Can I help?"

She could put her troubles away for a time for someone who had helped her. She could only hope that he would trust her with whatever it was.

[member="Andorreth Vikar"]

Smirking when Claire mentioned my far away look and asked if she could help. "M'lady you've already done quite enough by offering your landing privileges of the Organa house. That and helping me legally get my land and title back....not only that you gave me a cause to fight for.... I'm fine M'lady I don't need much. The real question is why offer me more help when you're the one dealing with an emotional viper nest. I learned how to read people quite well when living in the slums on Coruscant. You have the look of torturous self-examination about you Claire, you're much too pretty to have your face overshadowed by what ifs."

Giving her a quick look over I saw the light blue shorts and soft white shirt. Even knowing she was part of the fashion industry and high society I couldn't help thinking she didn't need a fancy dress to be beautiful. Odds were that she'd caught me looking so I switched topics. "M'lady I 'm going to hazard a guess that while most Alderanians are pacifists that doesn't extend to food. You can eat meat yes? I figured that at the very least on top of some clean clothes and a shower or bath you could use a decent home-cooked meal instead of diplomatic rations. So how do you enjoy steak cooked m'lady?"

I heard over the comms "Captain, Jax should tell you that the prisoner has been secured and the officer your guest came aboard with wished both you and her to know that he'd take first watch and allow the Lady ambassador to rest after the day's events. Also the jump to Alderaan you engaged is still underway and all systems are running green across the boards. Jax thought you should know Captain." Smiling I looked towards Claireand said, "so M'lady may I escort you to the dining hall for a proper meal before you retire? I promise that it'll be one of the best meals you've had in awhile M'lady..."

[member="Claire Organa"]

Yeah he could read her, "I ask myself if I really looked hard enough for Tory, that maybe if I hadn't given up and waited for her to come that I wouldn't have this sinking feeling that they have her." She gave a small shrug of her shoulders looking down for a moment weaving through those emotions before she looked back up, "I'll be surprised if it's not her" And she'd feel worse if it was someone else. She needed to cross bridges when she got there.

Words she knew a lot of words because a diplomatic had to be diplomatic. She wasn't just uttering words when she offered help, "I don't know I see someone who needs help and I offer it, it's within my abilities to do so." She frowned for a moment as she thought, "I have so much well more than I need my business is doing well, I have this job within the family. So what resources I have when I see someone I just tend to offer the help. Just because I've got, what did you say, viper's nest. Well yeah I do right now, but doesn't mean I stop helping others because things are tough"

She laughed, "I got news for you not all of them are pacifists. A lot of them prefer to fight. You know being under the Republic for so long, then the Sith we've got some teeth. We just try to be peaceful. Or create the image of it" She grinned big up at him, "I love food all food."

Then she remembered that dish on Bakura, "Well...some things I can live without but I will try it. I'm not afraid of food." Course the eyeball of the fish floating in her soup had her feeling like she was being watched all through dinner by an angry fish.

She listened to hear of the status of the prisoner a big sad that they hadn't sent her out in her little cage to the depths of space on a tether. Oh but it was earlier yet. "Yes by all means let's have something hot to eat. Remind me to give you a bottle of Emerald Wine, I think you will like it. So what is for dinner?"

[member="Andorreth Vikar"]

Smirking as she mentioned not all Alderanians being pacifists and having teeth I said "That'd explain your fire and how you took to firearms so quickly. That or you spent time around Mando'ad on Alderaan, as to what's for dinner... ever had a nerf steak properly prepared with all the trimmings M'lady? I think a bottle of Corellian red wine might be in order as well....though your offer of Emerald wine does sound intriguing. Can't say I've ever had a glass of such wine."

Walking ahead down towards the dining hall I noticed Claire matching my pace. Glancing over at her I said, "Claire don't blame yourself. You did what you could with what you knew at the time. Now you have me and I have a great many talent that can help you find your family." Gesturing forward I continued walking towards the kitchen with Claire, when we finally reached the kitchen I let the design of the space speak to Claire.

d6ba36b53ede06f05f7c09d7742ed77a.jpg
Odds were she'd enjoy the design aesthetics, which I hoped would be the case seeing as how I'd been the one to refit this entire area. Perhaps she'd ask about the space at least. That'd give me the opportunity to go ahead and grab a skillet and begin heating some butter to grease the skillet for the steaks. I had a feeling Claire would enjoy this meal and I'd be able to help her relax with everything going on even if for only an hour.

[member="Claire Organa"]

"Yes well the thing that once the Sith came and invaded Alderaan, then they turned it into a Vong Formed planet a lot of Alderaani got upset to see their home so far from what it had been. Those people were determined it would never happen again once Alderaan was free of the Sith. They have the teeth, but in the years since the pacifists have come back talking about the culture that is known to be Alderaan. I think they forget about the ancestors of the planet who fought the darkness and evil and lost their lives to it." Claire talked as they walked trying to explain how some had teeth.

"Oh nerf steak with everything hmmm...I don't think so. We will get you a bottle from the Vinerium on Alderaan." She nodded, "Its hard not to. Our parents are gone I'm older I should have taken better care of her. I failed to do so." She just didn't know how to handle what she felt now.

They walked into the kitchen, galley area. Claire eyes swept the room looking it was simple, functional and elegant. She smiled, "This is a lovely room. I like how the lights are hidden away giving that glow into the areas that need it most. It has this warm welcome feel to it. I don't think I've seen this design in a ship before maybe a log cabin at the lake. It's beautiful Andorreth. Who designed it?"

She wanted to know who had the eye for such clean lines, and how they gave it that home feeling.

[member="Andorreth Vikar"]

As we walked Claire mentioned most Alderanians had teeth and knew how to use them I couldn't help but smile. Thing was it only took so much to have someone use their teeth again after being tame for so long. Smiling at her having said she'd not had a nerf steak before I responded "Oh....well then you're about to be spoiled Ms. Organa though I must ask how do you like your meat cooked? Also I'll look forward to touring the Vinerium with you if that's not too much trouble. It'd be nice to not be clunking about in armor for once..." We'd reached the kitchen and I headed over to the stove and grabbed butter out of the fridge then began heating it slowly in a skillet for the steaks.

As that heated I grabbed some salad things and started prepping a chicken Caesar salad. Then I heard Claire talk about how the kitchen had this warm, welcome feel to it almost like a log cabin at a lake. Smirking I said "I'm glad you like it Claire, I put a lot of work into it while my crew was having some R and R on a resupply station. Also you're not off I based the design off a cabin I spent several years at on Corellia. Sort of a comfortably rustic training ground. Ironic, as the person who owned that space was my combat instructor in the ways of fighting you saw today her name is Seras Prudii'kad. Odds are if you're helping me on the legal end of things in reclaiming my title and position of nobility that Seras will be helping me in less legal means or she'll at least make herself known in the near future."

Pulling the steaks from the fridge where I'd had them marinating I opened up the bags and got ready to start cooking them up. I was wondering what Claire's response to my admission of me being the designer would be. Let alone about Seras.....

[member="Claire Organa"]

She nodded and without thinking, "I'd like to see you without your armor too" Her eyes suddenly got large as her cheeks turned crimson, "I mean well that it would be nice to see you outside of...well.." Goodness no matter what she said it just sounded all wrong closing her eyes, she tried to calm her racing heart.

"You know not all geared up to fight you know relaxed" Geez christopher she thought, "medium please..what can I do to help? I'm not extreme great at cooking but I haven't burned water in over a year and I make a good breakfast, cause well it's easy." She smiled hoping to get passed her embarrassment. What was she thinking when she said that. Or was she even thinking at all.

"You're the designer well my hat's off to you Sir this is marvelous. So you're really good with your hands and have an eye for detail." She smiled broadly as she looked about again this time with a new appreciation for the room, "We share that then the desire and ability to create". When he mentioned a name Seras Prudii'kad she thought about this name in all her times around the clans she had not heard this name, "well I look forward to meeting her. It would be interesting to meet someone who helped to form the the fighter that you are. Was she very tough on you during your training?"

She stood nearby, "I can get plates and silver just point me in a direction." She nodded, as she took a deep breath trying to catch the smell of the marinade she leaned closer, "is it a secret recipe?" She pointed to the bag.

[member="Andorreth Vikar"]

Smiling at her miswording and subsequent embarrassment I said "Contrary to belief battle is where I'm relaxed, it's the politics and dresses, and "proper clothing" I'm not certain how to navigate. Guess that comes with being part Echani and being trained and adopted as a Mando'ad." Looking at her as she offered to help I said "Claire you can head over to the liquor cabinet and find a bottle of Corellian Red wine and a corkscrew then you can find two glasses. Following that you can pour two glasses and enjoy yours while I cook believe it or not you've done and dealt with enough for today. I must insist on you allowing me to spoil you for the evening Ms Organa." With that I began putting the steaks in the pan to cook. Salad was done, Claire was taking care of the wine things were going well.

Then Claire complimented my design and said I was good with my hands. She really had no idea how true that statement was but I'd keep my remarks to myself. She mentioned it being nice to meeting Seras....she asked if she was tough on me during my training. "Seras was....excuse me is something not entirely accepted in Mando'ad culture. She last I knew was considered Dar'manda via an Ordo. She is different in that she is equal part warrior and politician just as at home in armor as a dress. Her name....Prudii'kad came from being a blade in a crowd. She was warrior, politician....assassin. Hence shadow saber. She was called Dar'manda in front of her peers because she supposedly lost her way in the political game. Nobody cared to accept that it was only through her ability to be a blade in a crowd at those political functions that she kept her ward at the time safe. Not two weeks after she was called Dar'manda and exiled her ward died."

Pausing I realized I'd taken polite conversation to a dark place. "She called me her salvation I was adopted by her as mando'ad after the reason for my exile and title being stripped from me. She trained me in both combat and what she knew of politics. Plates are over there behind me and actually yes somewhat of a secret it's a recipe Seras used frequently when she'd take me on hunts. The whole design behind this room was based on my time with her. It is I suppose a tribute to her upbringing after I was forced to leave my family estate with nothing. Seras may still be Dar'manda but I consider her Aliit. Aliit ori'shya tal'din." She'd always said that reverently before giving a Keldabe kiss I wondered now if she'd seen me as son or something else entirely....I'd been raised as son but treated as companion.

[member="Claire Organa"]

She shook her head, "you're really not going to let me do anything?" She made her way to the cabinet and looked at the bottles finally settling on one that seemed well aged she picked up a couple of glasses bringing them to the counter to stand nearby watching Andorreth as he cooked and described his life with Seras. "I can make you a suit, I would need measurements and your trust on material and color you know that way you can navigate. Cause..you have all the other tools for it already. You might have a suit, but...I can still make one" She wanted to, it was her way of putting a personal touch to saying thank you.

"Dar'manda' she whispered that usually wasn't good but from what she had been taught it cut her off from the culture, the yaim the after life and only the Mand'alor could reverse it. "There's been some changes in leadership in all of the clans, maybe she can approach them and have them change their minds" She wondered if Isley would be able to help, she had not seen him in many years but he was a very influential leader.

She worked to open the bottle being rewarded with a gentle pop as the cork finally came free. She stood the bottle up letting it breath before pouring.

Claire was absorbed by the conversation even with the gentle turn to darkness. She wanted to know these things all of this influenced the man before her someone she was growing more and more to like. His gentle disposition, and his craftiness right now appealed to her gentle nature and spoke to the designer in her.

She translated the phrase, "I think she from what I've learned about how serious the clans are about family that, you weren't just someone she adopted. She loved you in whatever form she wanted or needed to. You were family"

Nothing more important than family. Asking questions about his family right now seemed cold. But Seras was and is his family. "Where is Seras now?"

[member="Andorreth Vikar"]

Smiling I said "I could appreciate a nice suit for sure. Though something that'd pair with a royal blue would be nice..." Hearing her whisper the words Dar'manda I smirked. "Seras was never one for taking what she was labeled as. In fact she actually adopted Echani beliefs and faith. Ours our fairly simple we've a a pantheon of Gods and Goddesses. Both Seras and I pay tribute to the dark lady, a goddess of warriors, the slain, and the hunt. There are several others I could choose to give offerings to but the Dark Lady and her sister Seraphine suit me best. Where the dark lady is normally nameless and embodies the darker primal aspect of hunters and warriors her sister Seraphine embodies again hunters and warriors, but she also embodies wisdom, patience, and trust."

Pausing as Claire poured the wine I continued. "Seras found peace in the beliefs of my heritage. Thing is even in exile Mando'ad don't stop being family I still am her family." It was a gentle correction but also likely Claire would catch it. "Seras.....moves around a lot after some issues following her advice to move to the core and start on Coruscant. I've reached out several times but the thing is that with the name Prudii'kad she's.....careful about contacting me. People can hunt a huntress, and by extension those the huntress cares for. I have the feeling though I'll see her again soon and when I do it'll be in a way that only I'd recognize."

Flipping the steaks gently I pulled a razor keen knife and cut gently into the steaks. Hers was about done and mine was done. Medium rare, still ruby red in the center but cooked to perfection. Flipping hers again once on each side I said "Can you bring your plate over Claire?" As she approached with her plate I was aware of a sound that was...off. Flipping the knife in my hand to an inverted grip I flicked it with lethal precision. Into my droid....of course it was my droid. Reaching down it plucked the knife, placed it back on the counter and simply looked at the puncture wound then said "I will see to repairs, goodnight sir and ma'am." Freaking droids....It knew not to bother until the morning. Looking towards Claire I said "It wasn't scheduled to be here tonight now I feel bad I damaged it..."

[member="Claire Organa"]

“Royal blue, well there are a lot of great colors for royal blue depending on the occasion. Something…I will work on it. It will help keep my mind busy.” Already in the back of her mind she could see patterns and colors.

Oh she must have said it wrong - “Oh I never meant to imply you weren’t family to Seras now. I was trying to say that she saw you as family. Family is forever. I’m not a mandalorian, I just have been their student. My mother never put a name to what we were taught, but in times of trouble or when I need comfort I pray to a Goddess with no name as ask for her help.” That was something she had never said to anyone else

The room was warm and this pleased her for once she didn’t feel the chill of space seeping in through the ships’ skin. Whether it was the kitchen or the company Claire was slowly beginning to relax.

There was not hint of regret in his voice matter of fact Claire could hear the respect he had for Seras in each word. She leaned forward her head on her hand listening as she watched the food prepared by an expert hand. She did not know any Echani. She wanted to learn though.

An avid learner she absorbed what he said keeping it for later reference. From what he said about who he worshiped and what they represented she knew that these things were important to him. The protection of a goddess for hunters and warriors, this was how he saw himself she figured. And then wisdom, patience, and trust these were valuable to him.

“So is it safe for me to assume that as a hunter or warrior you strive to be wise, patient and trustworthy. Just as you would value those things in the people around you?” She asked her voice just a drop below normal as they talked privately. Not that anyone would really pay attention to them there in the kitchen. She brought the plates over holding them out so she could take them to the table.
The food was mouth watering it smelled devine. She felt her stomach rumble when has she eaten last. "This smells great I can't wait to get a bite" She smiled.

There was barely time for him to answer or nod when the droid showed up.

She jumped as the knife flew towards its target, startled she looked around to see the droid. “It wasn’t to be here….why would it come on its own?” She stood there a plate in each hand looking at the droid until it was taken away.

Claire looked over to Andorreth already she could feel the strings of conspiracy threading its way around them again. “Can you run a diagnostic on it to see why it was somewhere it wasn’t scheduled to be.?” She felt her lower lip tremble slightly and she did not know why.

[member="Andorreth Vikar"]

Looking towards Claire I gritted my teeth "I don't actually need to run a diagnostic I know who sent it.....Droid grab a bottle of tequila then take it to Crosswire to ensure he stops trying to spy on private conversations if you wouldn't mind." The droid nodded and trundled over to the liquor cabinet and grabbed two bottles of tequila before heading out. Looking back to Claire I said my crew in charge of all the fancy electrical kit likes to eavesdrop on private conversations hence the alcohol to make sure he doesn't."

"In any event Echani are a shall we say fluid in language. Mostly due to what Echani have to say is mostly said through combat in regards to being wise, patient and trustworthy....I'd say that there's a time and place for such attributes and a time and place to bypass all that and be decisive." Claire was shaking lightly and I simply let the hand that'd thrown the knife drop to her shoulder. "Udesiir Claire. Nothing to fear while you're aboard my ship." Grabbing the plates I placed hers on a plate and mine on a second before dishing out chicken Caesar salad. Looking at her I said "Your food m'lady, shall we sit?" I saw the wine glasses and waited for Claire to take her plate and a seat...

[member="Claire Organa"]

Here she was thinking that she was relaxing but it would seem that she wasn't a crewmen wanted to know what they were talking about which she guessed was normal.

"Crosswire that's a great name is he the communications officer?" Claire trieds to find that peaceful place she had been in just a few minutes ago. She had been warm, revealing, and now she felt like a twist of knots. She looked adt the plate ok she couldn't let all of Andorreth's effort get cold. Then she felt a warm hand on her shoulder, slowly she looked over nodding agreement. Peace. She knew the term she had been preaching it for weeks.

She was making mountains out of mole hills. A hesitant smile as she reminded herself to be calm. She took her plate gently, "thank you. I guess I'm still on edge." It was going to take more time.

What did she know about all of this? Maybe it was a form over shock.

"Tell me more about yourself, please" It helped to listen to others at least for her it did.

[member="Andorreth Vikar"]

Laughing as Claire asked about Crosswire being the comm officer. I said "He's about as far from a comm officer as possible. Not to mention a functioning alcoholic hence the two bottles of tequila. No...Crosswire is.....he's our infiltration and security specialist. Basically he's a slicer with a knack for tech and getting us into places we shouldn't strictly be in." Claire apologized for being on edge and I just looked at her like she was nuts. "Claire you don't need to apologize for being on edge. Heck if I wasn't prepped for dang near everything that could go wrong I'd be on edge right now. As for myself not too much more to tell really..." Reaching out with The Force I grabbed several small stones I left around the kitchen and levitated them over towards me as I cut a bite of steak for Claire. Not that I didn't think she could but odds were the stones I was levitating would be slightly distracting.

Cutting a bite of my own steak I lifted my left hand and made a twisting motion that through The Force set the stones spinning themselves as I rotated them in a smooth circle. Grabbing the bite of steak I forked it and taking it in my mouth I began chewing. Swallowing the steak I looked towards Claire and said "not a bad party trick huh?"

[member="Claire Organa"]

“An alcoholic spy, well there are some aspects to that which would be very helpful in that line of work.” She shook her head thinking and wondering I wonder how he does that, drink and infiltrate it was boggling to think about.

Claire smiled and moved on in her thoughts.

“How would you do that prep for all things?” She started to cut into her steak when from her peripheral she could see movement slowly she turned she held her fork and knife still. Mesmerized by the floating stones, “it’s a great party trick. How do you do it? It’s the force right?…is the force like as powerful as lore would have us think? How did you know you had it? When did you know you had it? And I’m asking a lot of questions aren’t I”

She looked down and saw the steak had been cut she pierced it with her fork and brought it up for a moment she could taste the salt and spices that he had cooked it with. It had that smell of properly prepared and seasoned steak. It made her mouth water. Not able to wait another moment she popped it into her mouth, “ohhh” she sighed as her shoulders dropped and her entire body seemed to go soft, “that’s so good” It was a heavenly bite. She chewed slowly savoring the taste.

“You can cook for me anytime you want. I promise not to complain.” She prepared to cut another piece off, not forgetting about the salad either. Caesar was her favorite.

[member="Andorreth Vikar"]

Smiling at the line of questions I said "Depends on the wielder and how much study they have. I for example would be considered by the Echani an artist on account of this particular talent." Focusing my mind I simply crushed the stones into sand, then focusing my mind I formed the sands into the shape of a rose. Dropping my fork I began allowing the beat of my heart, the breathing to flow and I began channeling The Force into my right forearm. Aqua sparks began dancing along my skin as I channeled them into plasma along my fingers. Then I began to glass the sand in front of Claire. After a few minutes I could feel the glass hardening and I cut the Force energy in my right hand. Plucking the glassed rose from the air I presented it to Claire. "See the sand you saw me use while taking the pirate vessel that is only a few ways to use such a talent. As for when I knew....well most people don't simply get as lucky as I did at cards."

"Depending on what your staff or people think of me I'd very much enjoy cooking for you later Claire. After all I'll need to pick up that suit won't I?" Seeing her enjoy my cooking I took another few bites of my salad before I rather boldly reached over and began rubbing her left shoulder by her neck. I could feel her tighten up at first then slowly begin to relax, there was one other thing I'd yet to show her about the Salvation but that could wait. I'd at least let her finish her dinner first...

[member="Claire Organa"]

He was very forthright in answering her questions this she could appreciate. He was responsive and sensitive. True he could have some deep dark secret to protect but for right now it didn’t really matter to Claire. His company and attentiveness she welcome and what she needed.

A talent? Oh, she watched with interest. She watched as the stones slowly disappeared dissolving away into little bits of sand. She slowly reached out to touch the aqua sparks she felt no heat as her outstretched hand hovered over his arm.

Her mouth dropped open as she watched the transformation from sand to glass, “Ohhh” she sighed, “I’ve never seen anything like that that’s stunning.” She bit her lip as she lifted the glass rose from Andorreth’s palm.

She laughed, “so it was hidden for sometime”

She turned the rose slowly in her hand the beautiful lines, “Yes, the suit, and sometimes my body guard?” She asked wondering if he had changed his mind about being her blade, her saber to take on those that were actively seeking her life.

She cradled the rose as a priceless treasure, “May I keep this?”

Her dinner was before her and she knew if she didn’t eat she’d get cranky. No one likes a cranky girl like Claire. She held it in her hand as she reached with the other to spear some of the salad. Andorreth wouldn’t have known about Claire’s mother and how much she loved roses. They were a luxury around their house while she was growing up. Her mother got them once a year on their wedding anniversary a single rose for every year they were married.

This treasure reminded her of her parents. How much she missed them.

As Claire asked about the rose I said "Of course you can keep it. It is a gift after all...I suppose hidden would be one way to describe it. As to sometimes your bodyguard? Mandalorians tend to be big on honor, I gave you my word to help you ferret out the enemies after you and your family. I keep my word Claire..." I'd likely be coming into the kitchen later tonight for food so I simply left my steak and scraped the rest of my salad onto Claire's plate without her seeing it. This time as I gently pressed on her left shoulder and rubbed along her shoulder and neck I heard her sigh softly. Hopefully Cliare would be able to relax during the jump to Alderaan...
