Medical Minds

Prepare for your... examination.
Lab clasped her hands together rubbing them lightly at the sudden progress they were making, "The pathogen model can use those well but perhaps we can install at least the scrubbers on the other types so we can to avoid open wounds becoming infected and such". Her mind churned away as she tried to come up with even more ways to improve the portable med bays, "Yes the power source is a thing to take into account, making it powerful but as small as possible, though I believe we can also make those modifiable, solar arrays, power cells" "We may even be able to produce a small portable generator that we can use to power multiple stations all at once along with individual sources, how does that sound"?

Hmm "We do have a standard rylith power cell, it recharges in the sun and works to power a large majority of our standard equipment. Using that as a power source and with the duel chamber system we could increase the power output exponentially it would just require some tinkering and better monitoring systems. The sleg has the danger of exploding when it is overcharged compared to others but if you handle it safely you can increase the energy output by nearly a factor of twenty." At least that is what they were able to do with the ultra capacitors to improve weapons and equipment. In some cases getting even longer shelf life from them.

"Well, that sounds like a doable task, for dealing with the explosive problem we may need to implement a fail safe or some sort to circuit breaker to prevent form over charging, should not be to hard", though when she thought about it, maybe a power cell that strong was not really needed, which go her thinking. "What about a power cell with still reasonable high energy out put, but we sacrifice some of the voltage to increase run time? In a disaster area the once thing that you need more then the among of powers is it lasting long enough for proper relieve forces go arrive, you know, just a suggestion to maybe help curb the explosion problem and all". She gave a small shrug, kind of not 100 conveying the 'maybe' feeling to it.

She nodded in agreement to that, they didn't need it to be a whole lot more power... they just needed it to be able to last and function until more doctors could arrive or they would be able to get to different facilities to handle a problem.. or a power source that was more stable. ALright, she was looking at it and might be able to work on that... Hmm she was liking the idea and if it went well until she was thinking about some of the things. "We can do that, it doesn't have to be overly powerful, it just needs to be functional and work long enough to move them to a lasting power source and to a better facility." That they could maybe keep them in stasis would serve as well to preserve them.

"Well it seems we understand each other rather well don't you think"? Lab remarked clapping her hands together with a smile, "Was there any specification we needed to talk about for these portable medical stations? or was that all the problems taken care of"? The only thing that came to him was how to transport the medical bay around but she assumed that was already taken care of via repulsor life devices and what not, or just old fashion carrying with your hands. "Did you want to get to designing now if all the concept work is out of the way, oh maybe make a interim report as well, documenting this is a must".

[member="Anaara Clandestine"]

[member="Labkahip Mordulla"]

Hmm to keep working or to make reports and document these ideas. She gave a nod of her head to that. "IT would be important to document all of this, there are offices and suites if you want to look at it in privacy for yourself. There is a mess hall, we can meet up afterwards and keep working on the design. We should have everything easily handled and might even be able to get a prototype constructed with the biot workers and droids." She had a look on her face though while offering Lab a chance to go ahead. "We have molecular converters in the rooms and can get nearly anything food wise or drink. If you want to relax there is therapeutic centers ont he levels to help with rehab or relaxation."

Prepare for your... examination.
Lab very much liked that idea, not wanting to get so far into the project and loose something important or forget a step, in addition time seemed to have gotten away from the two, her stomachs rumbling a little. "Ha ha, I could for a small bite in a bit, and nothing is more fun then discussing deigns specification over a small meal". Taking [member="Anaara Clandestine"] offer she walked out of the room towards the office's, her eye scanner pulling up a small map of the ships lay out, "on a side note who will you be testing the prototype"? Would they use models of some kind? actual people? or droids for such a matter. "Ahh sorry, getting a little ahead of myself, food first, design and perhaps a therapeutic session while the prototypes get made, what do those involve? do a need a bathing suit"?

[member="Labkahip Mordulla"]

She looked at her with a small grin. "Well for testing purposes we have grown specific biot patients. They are well cared for and designed to test the different medical equipment." She said it but was leading the way now. Going towards the officers and everything you could use. "And we can get your a bathing suit should you want it." Before she arrived though there was the mess hall, a large one that had several levels within the ship for mostly diferent purposes. Different patients that might be needed but the central area where the food was being made looked like a tower that the workers ad droids were handling, making food for everyone as Anaara went towards a table with a service droid taking orders.

Prepare for your... examination.
"Biot patients, how long do those take to make? we going to produce them alongside the medical bays"? there was still quite a lot Lab did not know about the medical well, but for a mostly self taught person she was rather good. "Well I guess if you supply them and I need one for the spar then I'll gladly accept", Lab replied as the duo stepped into the mess hall, her nose being assaulted by a wave of smells, much more, for filling anything the Empire had on hand. "Hmmmm this place smell nice, what have they got to offer here"? The Twi'lek asked, almost drooling as her gaze fell upon the serving table, the place bustling with activity.

"Biots can take generally thre months to grow training while they are being grown is done with flash modules. They might not be the hyper advanced individuals that can do the specialized jobs but they have average intelligence and can learn. For working with curing sicknesses they provide a controlled group as the sickness can be cultivated in them and be without allergies. So later modifications can be done." She was looking at her when they were coming through into the mess hal. "THe chefs work tirelessly to handle just about any type of cuisine for any situation. Some foods can help with minor problems like heartburn or joint pain. Not permanently but give some relief."

Prepare for your... examination.
"Okay so in a months bit, that would give plenty of time to manufacture several prototypes of the medical bays, run through some fundamental tests and make adjustments before used on a biot", the Twi'lek replied, making her way to the mess counter, eye up all the different food. "Well I appreciate the effort said chief has put in, though not a great cook I know my way around some interesting dishes that I kind of... experimented with while traveling, but my does it look goo". Leaning in the woman's nostrils flared as the scent of different flavors entered, now this was eating, "On another note, what would we do in the meantime between making a prototype of the med bays and testing, any other projects going around that need being done"?

She was looking at the food and getting a plate for herself as her eyes gleamed a little with the thought. "Well we are always working on a few things, some for different species. One of them is for a few of our twi'lek patients. We have gotten, after the harvesters went to Ryloth years ago many were scattered and maimed. We hqave been trying to helop several recover with medical grade sheaths for their lekku as a means to aid the ones who were damaged." She said the last and remembered her sisters as well as others, mostly it was unable to be fixed but you could sooth the damage done.

Prepare for your... examination.
If Lab had ears they would have perked up at the mention of Twi'lek patients, herself listening intently to what [member="Anaara Clandestine"] had to say on this new project, something that would be very useful all over the galaxy. "Oh I would I be able to help with that, having a person with better understanding of Twi'lek anatomy and how something should feel would be beneficial, no"? It was probably hard for a human to comprehend how the Lekku worked with movement and all, as well as it also containing part of the brain, "I am sure the CIS would be in need of this ever since the made slavery illegal on the planet". "Most Twi'lek going about normal life, but many still suffering from the past rulers", come to think of it she should visit Ryloth again... but being apart of the GE made that very, very difficult.

[member="Labkahip Mordulla"]

Anaara looked at her and was looking to say something... but her hand just went up to her hair. Rubbing the lumps before she spoke. "Yes, someone versed in twi'lek anatomy is always good." She didn't say it and remained a little distracted but this wasn't a bad thing. her mother was wonderful but she didn't show when it came to it. So the woman was started to eat and take an interest in her food. "Slavery has been made illegal within the CIS before, they have also changed the policy when they changed leaders so I hope this new incarnation will be different but I have not seen much to say it will be yet.

Prepare for your... examination.
Lab gave the woman an odd look, knowing that that face meant something, a secret of one wanting to inform another but just didn't, had her words about Twi'lek anatomy come off as rude? "Ah well I mean, yes you probably are along with many humans well versed in many alien species, but you know just saying I could offer some insight". 'odd I still feel like I am missing something', she thought to herself while picking out some food for lunch. best they move on. "Well one thing I do know is that they don't target civis and non military installations, though very hard pressed fighters they never attack people, more then I can say for the Galactic Empire". Again she would need to go to Ryloth and some other CIS worlds to see who things where going, rumors can hardly ever be trusted.

[member="Labkahip Mordulla"]

She gave a nod of her head to that. "Oh your insight is something welcomed, it is easy to work on things that you can study but having someone who can tell you if it is practical then yes you can always get it better." She offered a smile and took a bite of the food lingering for a moment. THere was several cheeses in it before she tasted it and savored the sensation. "Hmm now this is good and new." Anaara slipped a piece of the food off when she twisted her fork and wound the stretching cheese with a grin. "So tell me Lab some more about yourself. While business is important... If we are going to be working together we should be able to get along outside of it."

Prepare for your... examination.
Lab sighed a bit on the inside, glad that nothing bad had happened, but still something felt a little different like there was a personal issue to be addressed of sorts, did Anaara have connections with a Twi'lek family? "Well I apologies anyways", herself out of habit slipping in the Lekku hand signal for sorry, often having to use it with certain patients when doing something they did not like, proceeding to dig into her new meal. The food was nice, the texture and taste having a natural feeling to it then the synthetic and treated rations the empire supplied, "hmmm yes this is good *ahem". "As for myself, well I was a typical Rylothian, bought in the... slave markets of the planet, but unlike most said buyer was a traveling scientist of sorts, looking for an assistant that would work for free, I had brain and was picked". "He taught me, we traveled so and so, myself eventfully leaving on my own, later one trip to Rishi, a miner Horror attack, me flying a ship and shooting a proton war head into its mouth and BOOM, company" "One that seeks to supply armor and small arms to secuitry forces, but I am also going into medical trade, well the main reason I am here now and all, so, tell me about yourself Anaara".

[member="Anaara Clandestine"]

[member="Labkahip Mordulla"]

She looked at her and gave a nod of her head while she thought about it but no need for hesitation. It was going to come out eventually. "I was born on Ryloth, my father had come there when he married my mother so we were raised on the planet. Eventually with all of the battle and damage done to the world we got work, improving and working to rebuild. It gave a benefit to our clan, we would be paid to come and help rebuild. Eventually I had a chance to leave and head offworld. I started working with Sasori as they offered the things I liked so I got really good within the ranks of the company. Allowing them to make better deals and meet better people or groups."

Prepare for your... examination.
Lab just nodded hear head as the woman explained slowly getting slower as the retaliation started to hit, Ryloth, clan Sasori and wanting to join it, was she a... could she? "Oh I did not know, well my story was not all sunshine and rainbow, my teacher being one to experiment on people, I was there to patch them up, in attempts to hind his work, myself eventually killing him.....". It was morbid yes, but she did not want to sound all 'my life was easy' and such to the half Twi'lek woman, well maybe, she would soon find out, "tell me though are you half Twi'lek? you seem to have a personal connection with them and the medical project". "That and what you said about Ryloth, am I right in my assumption"?

[member="Anaara Clandestine"]

[member="Labkahip Mordulla"]

She looked at her and grinned. "Yes, my mother is from Ryloth, born and raised in the city. She met my father and he moved there. I am the middle of my family with the brothers and sisters working on projects around the planet to restore parts and sections of it." She said it while eating and looked at the other woman.. more to study what her reaction might be. Hmmm she was a curious one but they might be able to have some sort of freiendship. "Sasori though has given a number supplies to Ryloth and that was one fo the ways I learned about them. Their pre-fab structures and systems work to rebuild planets without advanced terraforming technologies."
