Meditation and calamity. A (mostly) Jedi thread.

Abbey Ainsley

Weird mess of Jedi
Time had come to practice skills away from people who tried to hold her back, time to practice on her own and use what skills she managed to collect in a small amount of time, and perfect them. Staring into the forest which surrounded the ancient lonely Jedi temple, Abbey quit and re-tried to focus on tiny things everytime she managed to become upset.

A message had been sent out just earlier, inviting Jedi and the like on nearly every temple she could find to come and practice with her, for months or years if they wanted to stay that long. She planned taking a peaceful solo path and learning skills of those who came to visit would be a better way to train, rather than following in the footsteps of those knights and masters who thought they knew what they were doing.

Her location wasn't secret, so it could be found easily. On Kashyyyk, a normal solitary place with room for ships and the such to come and visit as they pleased. Her own was sitting at a far location, only ready to use when she wanted to leave, which was obviously not planned for a very long time.

Among those "Knights and Masters who thought they knew what they were doing", there were some who didn't act like they knew everything. While Grey was knowledgeable on many past events and being a relic from another era herself, she remained humble, knowing that many things had changed since her preservation during the battle of Yavin. The female arrived to the planet, and she had some experience training younglings and padawans, and made her way to the area specified by the young [member="Abbey Ainsley"]. Approaching the location, the Gray Jedi Knight who had recently rejoined the Jedi Academy on Ossus, sent out a force push that would weaken as it went out as a way to signal the other woman. A massive force signature that had once been tainted by the Dark Side would emerge.

From the small spot of ruined rocks that she stood on, Abbey felt the signature and turned to see it's user with a small confused face. She was honestly new, but she did know a few things, especially that feeling that raved from the dark side. After a moment, she took a few steps forward and looked at the woman before her. Not much did she know of the grey, except that they weren't always treated how they should be. "You feel like Sith." she said in an almost confident tone.

The woman grinned, knowing how to put on a façade when she needed to. Her eyes were still pale yellow but returning to their original soft blue hues, a sign that she was still recovering from her taint... however that taint would always be there as when one tastes the dark side and falls, a part of them. she smiled and stepped forth, unsheathing her double-bladed lightsaber fixed with an Agedan Silver stone.

"What gave it away?"

The young girl gently straightened her posture and featured a tiny frown to the woman, now crossing her arms. She didn't know why the saber was being drawn, but she could only assume it wouldn't end as she had predicted. "Just the feeling of filth every time I met one." She responded, waiting if there was an appropriate chance to, draw her own blade.

The primary blade of the lengthened hilt snapped on, a hue of pure white. The hiss and buzz of the blade slightly higher pitched than your standard lightsaber due to its electric enhancements giving it a mild crackling noise as well. This was the first lesson. Would the Padawan be willing to stand her ground, or run?

"Show me what you've got young Jedi. Or are you going to dishonor your masters by allowing yourself to die."

For a few long moments she stood there with a small glare, then looked to the side at the forest, back to the woman after. "I think you'd know better than to attack me. There's no reason for that. Wookiees are in the village to the right." With arms crossed and barely twitching, she prepared to grab and block an upcoming attack. One of her previous trainers taught her how to do that - but not very well.

@Abbey Ainsley

This upcoming attack that she was preparing to block would be nothing to grasp. only a skilled knight or master could stop this. Her free hand would strike up underhanded as a way to focus the force around the female before her and attempt to yank her forward, and should that be successful, the sabered hand would strike forward and send a knight push at her shoulder to spin the kid midair, however, the meditation stone within her lightsaber would make her powers harder to resist and hit harder.

"These Wookies know who I am. I am one of the few non-Wookies that challenged their Shadowlands and lived to tell the tale. I even killed the most fearsome beast down there. I doubt they would be too mad to know that I do battle once again."

At the first pull of, to Abbey, an unknown attack, the young Jedi, if she could even be called that, withdrew her training blade she had received, gripping it tightly with both hands. A bright orange blade spun about as she was flipped around like a ragdoll. Eyes racing, her mind struggled to focus on where she would land, and even help attack at that point. Fear raced in her from the bottom to the top, and not even that helped her overpower this.

After a long escapade on Nar Shaddaa, Tugoro had made a mental note of visiting home once in awhile. So here the young man was, walking about the treetop platforms of Kashyyyk. In the background was his Aleph starfighter, which he had touched down in moments earlier on one of the landing pads. Strolling around, the Knight would inhale deeply, enjoying the scent of the fresh air that surrounded him. It was a nice change from the planets he was usually on. Even if he took a little vacation though, trouble always seemed to follow.

A strange sense would run through the young man's mind, causing him to turn slowly and peer through the tree line. [member="Grey Lunara"] and [member="Abbey Ainsley"] were somewhere near the village, and were involved in some sort of conflict. At least, that is what he could feel through the force. Lifting his arms, Tugoro would straighten out his brown leather jacket, taking a look around before leaping from the wooden platform. Soaring through the air, the Jedi would glide swiftly towards the jungle surface below, hovering as he expelled a stream of telekinetic energy from his feet.

As he landed, he would break into a sprint, coming to a halt as he spotted the duo ahead. What was going on? If he had seen the message earlier correctly, this was some sort of training area that people were free to come to. Were they sparring? It certainly didn't seem like that. "What the feth is going on?" Tugoro questioned frantically, beginning to approach slowly.

The woman then rushed forward, eventually speeding up massively with Knight Speed. The woman was still unstable from her venture in a Kolto tank for a couple months after fighting her former pupil, and soon she caught her chest with her hand as she fell and rolled forward, clicking off her lightsaber before it ended worse than it needed to. Then with a flash of post traumatic stress disorder, she forced through the pain and came toward the girl's chin with her boots, most likely missing as the girl would be coming down before the legs would make their way skyward.

"Ah! Why now..?"

She would then feel the presence of the Jedi Knight, and it would cause her to want to run for cover a bit. While Jedi were a sign of peace she was also slightly afraid of them. They killed her master...

Abbey fell with a loud huff and a wince of pain. Her training blade slowly slid and rolled away from her hand, leaving her on the ground half wheezing to recover her simple twirling fall. It was most certainly an untrained piece of work. Her eyes clamped shut, and her fists bundled into tight balls as she made her way to getting up, one elbow at a time, unaware of the surroundings about her.

[member="Tugoro Taidarious"] [member="Grey Lunara"]

Tugoro would sort of just watch for a moment in disbelief, as the duo crumpled to the ground, resumed fighting, and then stopped again. [member="Abbey Ainsley"] was moving to get up after falling, and [member="Grey Lunara"] was just recovering from what seemed like some sort of illness inflicted pain. He sensed the dark side within her, similar to his past experiences with the dark power. Except, it seemed like he had a bit more control, for this woman had attacked this untrained student.

The world around Tugoro would slow as he entered force speed, his perception of everything around him increasing as did his speed. A quick jog to him was an incredible burst of speed to the untrained eye, leaving the Knight inbetween the attacked and her attacker. "You need help, this won't solve anything." Tugoro would call out to Lunara, sensing her distress. What was going on?

Grey would turn off her well played façade, also killing the major darkside aura and killing intent that she purposely put upon herself. She would then start to crawl away from the Jedi Knight, and as she crawled a fairly old lightsaber, considered a relic to many, but a treasure to her would fall from her bosom and she would scramble to catch the hilt. It was the lightsaber of her beloved Jedi Master, Master Shakarna, a woman whose bloodline was believed to have ended at Yavin 's Final Battle.

"I was merely testing this girl. I tested her how my own Master had taught me long ago... way before your time youngling...."

Abbey slowly managed to pick herself up with small tears dribbling down her eyes. She got up onto her feet and picked up her training saber gently, then moved away from the two with a small scowl. "I did not invite Sith scum to join here today. You should leave." Crossing her arms, she turned away. She couldn't do much to get her away, even run away if she thought about it.

Her eyes seemed pained upon the words of the child.

"I'm not a Sith... At least, not anymore. I am a Gray Jedi, maybe you should do your research instead of run from the Academy on Ossus."

Turning his head to look back at [member="Abbey Ainsley"], he found the woman on her feet and moving slightly away from himself and [member="Grey Lunara"]. The dark energy within the woman would begin to fade strange enough, her true balanced aura coming through the force clearly now. From what Tugoro gathered she was no Jedi, likely a rogue or perhaps a Grey. He could understand the intense training, but from what Abbey said the Knight gathered that they didn't even know one another.

Abbey looked quite hurt and shaken up, he felt bad for her. Casting his emerald gaze upon Lunara, the young man would shake his head in disappointment. "Training method aside, you obviously went... A bit overboard." Tugoro commented, cocking his head to the side in Abbey's direction. "... And what do you mean, youngling?" He snapped, somewhat irritated and confused.

Her scowl slowly became a deeper one, keeping arms crossed tightly with the saber in her grip. She didn't want to answer the two anymore, and she didn't. Instead, she walked forward into the ruins to hide away in some of the rubble that the place provided for her.

[member="Grey Lunara"] [member="Tugoro Taidarious"]

"Younglings if it wasn't for me suffering from a wound that Kolto could not heal, I'm afraid I won't be training people in combat for a while. That seems about right for someone of consular class like myself... I should be more force based anyways but I've been trained extensively on melee."

Grey would speak and stay laid on the ground in her awkward position as she held the hilts.

[member="Tugoro Taidarious"] [member="Abbey Ainsley"]

"Uh-huh," Tugoro muttered quietly as [member="Grey Lunara"] finished speaking. He had no idea how to respond to this situation, and would know even less now that [member="Abbey Ainsley"] had walked off somewhere. "Alright, well, just don't move for now if you're injured." The Knight concluded, giving the woman an annoyed but concerned look before turning away. He wondered who this Knight was, and why she had been so harsh. If she was so powerful, she should be responsible as well.

Tugoro would walk to the nearby ruins, looking around briefly before spotting the other woman that had been involved in the incident. "Hey, you okay? I'm not a healer, but we can go to the village." The Jedi offered, keen on getting Abbey some medical attention. He hadn't taken much time to assess the duo's injuries, and needed to find out.
