Considering that Trextan and she had an odd out of body experience? Would that be it? It felt a bit odd to see him talk to her. Although...

"Well, at least I can see you now." she quipped right back.

At the news of the food, her eyes went wide, swirling into a mischievous gold green. "Oh is that right?"

The medic came and took hold of her repulsor chair, "Try not to keep it that way!" she called out, being rolled away.

Trextan offered a wink as he let go of the arm and the orderly pushed him on. His spirit was buoyed by the news that it was likely the last full scan. Just handhelds from now on.

"What did she mean 'see you now?' the orderly asked.

"We talked when one of us was in the tube," Trextan replied quickly. It wasn't a lie. Back on the ward he returned to his food supply and started to gather a picnic.

The Rogue was used to being winked at. Janes did it off and on; it was as much a part of his personality when he was being sociable. Others did it too. Having Trextan do it shouldn't be any different, but it was ... well interesting.

The corner of her mouth went twitching up. He was interesting to say the least.

"Alright Lieutenant Commander Vyn, we are going to ease you into the scanner now. Just lay down and relax."

His right side wasn't feeling quite as bad on the surface today. However his joints weren't thanking him for the previous day's excursion.

The youth decided it had been worth it though. Everything had been so serious for so long. A simple act of showing off and not thinking about anything real was worth the ache. But it did get him back into bed after arranging some tubs to sneak over to the room with the screen when she was back.

"They let you off the repulser chair?" The now familiar voice of the Rogue would sail over to Trextan Voidstalker. Upon lifting his head, he'd see Choli come walking in. No repulser chair for her either it seemed. This time her hair was braided into a thick plait down her back. it swung back and forth with every step she took. A fresh set of medical scrubs covered the young teenager, this time a pale peach -- which did not compliment her dark skin color at all.

"Better?" She inquired, hopping on top of the acceleration couch to make herself comfortable. There were a few bacta Patches's on her arms, likely where they had drawn blood for a few more tests. Her ankle was a little swollen but they gave her anti-flamitories for it.

"Yeah funny that. Got to take the chair down to the scanner yet they're happy for me to go walking about the ward."

He smiled suddenly. "Got a funny look for walking even vaguely in the direction of the ward entrance just then. Anyway, snackie brunch and more Nexu King or more escapades?"

He hoped not escapades. For all his youthful enthusiasm his body was telling him to sit still for a while and rest.

A snort and then Choli brought her knee back up to her chest. She gave a half chuckle. "I think you were the one who really wanted to watch the Nexu King."

Yeah, she didn't miss how enraptured he'd been over the helofilm until they started to talk a bit again.
"Did the medics put it away or do we have to restart it?"

"Dunno," he replied. "And it's not the worst film," he half heartedly protested. She might have caught just a hint of an abashed grin as he reached for the control.

The system was back to the main screen but the Nexu King was still there. "Although if you want there's a games system plugged in. And some old board games."

"The Nexu King is fine." Besides they didn't have the type of game she enjoyed. All that one required really were a few stones and another player. The game itself requiring to remove and add stones as one goes around small wells that one can carve out on the ground.

Choli had learned a few other board games while with the Rogues, and while she could pick them up readily, as they were a bit of a culture shock, she was a bit shy about playing them.
"What did you bring as tribute today?"

"Still no Pizza," he apologised. "However we have... Miscellaneous flavour posh crisps I stuffed in a plastic tubs. Some more mixed sandwich triangles that'll go stale if we don't finish them today and some brownie bites."

Trextan revealed the tubs from under a pillow and passed them over to the pilot in a neat stack. "I was wondering, do you still have any friends or family on tatooine?" He looked away, expecting the worst. Why did you ask that?

Wait... was that a euphemism? Choli wasn't sure and she vacillated between making a quip about it or leaving it alone. In the end, she settled for following up on his inquiry.

"Family?" Choli had a distant expression on her face for a few seconds before she shook her head. "All I knew was the Clan. Everyone had their place there. " as did a mother and father she didn't recall.

"I know a few of the Jawa clans though. " she went leaning forward, shirt scalloping as she bent to survey what was in the small tub. She took a sandwich and another bag of chips.

"A couple of traders "

Trextan was in thought. Because of this he only spared a brief inappropriate glance down the scrubs that seemed to be loose or tight at exactly the wrong times. Odd how he'd been far less concerned with how...Feminine she was she had been bare backed on polis massa than he was becoming now.

"My Great Uncle still owns a shop in Mos Espa. I haven't seen him in years. Maybe it would be good to visit some other family."

Trextan was lucky that Choli was too busy picking out her snack. As it was, his passing comment on him having family still on Tatooine piqued her attention.

"At Mos Espa?" Leaning back, she made herself comfortable again, feet propped up on the acceleration couch as she sat parallel to the teenager.

"That be easy; arceneau trade pretty much has it working fine in terms of security... outside city limits though..."

Popping open a bag she asked, “Ever been to Tatooine?"

"Yeah, he's still there. And...goodness..." Trextan raised his gaze to the ceiling as he thought back. He hadn't liked Tatooine when he'd visited. Brought up on Coruscant it had seemed so utterly alien. Hot and sandy and so sparsely populated. He smiled as he remembered Great Uncle Sully. His weathered face had creased up when he'd smiled, which was most of the time. There was an easy-going nature to the old man. He thought his brother and wife mad for leaving for the rush of inner city life.

"Not for a long time. Eight years maybe? I've spoken to him over the 'net since. When did you last go back?" There was a slight tug at the back of his mind. Something she had said before.

The inquiry prompted the Rogue to pause. She carefully would unwrap her sandwich; it was some form of Nuna salad type.

"Maybe a year or so?" She'd gone back to do some scavenging when Chloe and Jan had made a pit stop for supplies. Ended up traveling back down to No Man's land to see if she could find Jubja, the Jawa chief she had normally done business with. She'd been curious on news on the Tuskian Raider clan she'd grown up with.
"A little more?" Time seemed to just blend together after everything and joining Rogue.

Meanwhile the Nexu King had started his first song of the film. He couldn't help but smile a little as it started. It made him think of simple times.

"You said something earlier, when we were talking about lightsaber crystals. Did you say there were some on Tatooine?" He looked quite serious for a moment. He turned to face her, hair flopping down before being dragged back. This felt important all of a sudden.

Trextan caught her mid bite, prompting the girl to have to chew quickly. A smirk grew at the right corner of her lips, along with a few scatters crumbs along the bottom.

"Umm," the pink tip went darting out, licking as much as she could. The sandwich wasnt too bad. Crystals? Oh! Her dark head gave a quick nod, the braid swinging over her shoulder.

"Yeah, every planet does. To a degree anyways." She gave a slight frown thinking hard on what she came across.

"There's a few there that are well known. A Dundrifire crystal." She would chew as quickly as she could, swallowing to say, "But Arceneau regulates their exportation." Another smirk and a mocking scoff, "But doesn't stop folk from smuggling them out when they find them. Same with Kryat Dragon Pearls... but those who don't know what they are doing end up being an afternoon snack."

"Sorry, I'll let you finish your mouthful next time," he chuckled. He realised he'd life his own food and unwrapped another sandwich with some kind of sliced meat and relish. They'd need to make another run if they wanted to avoid spongy reheated meals tomorrow.

"I'm going to go to tatooine to find one," he declared. He said it with conviction and knew that as soon as he spoke that it would come to pass. It was the first certainty he'd felt in some time.

Both brows flew high. Choli took another bite of her sandwich; unknowing that it was a good thing it wasn't anything with fish in it. Going to Tatooine?

After swallowing, she would add, "But... you don't even know where to start." Pretty obvious.

"You said you haven't been there in eight years... and you can't really just ask someone to show you where to get one down there. They'd as soon kill you for it."

Just then, oh I just cant wait to be king began to play on the holofilm.

"Well volunteered," he said. There was a cheeky smile on his face as he deliberately avoided eye contact and started eating his sandwich. She'd said herself that she knew the planet well and had been given a broad training on lightsaber crystals.
