Moving Forward - Post Kaeshana & War prep!

Title says it all!

Let's discuss what will we be doing post Kaeshana, what this means for the GA icly, how it affects our RP and for the best part -- the skirmishes, political plots, and neat war prep IC driven roleplays that will make this an epic storyline with the First Order.


Some key items:

• Post Kaeshana After Action Review RP
• Missions into FO space to infiltrate, SIS, Jedi assignments, PMC movements, boarder protection beef up.
• PVE storylines on the side. We know not everyone is pro war and we need to support our members here.
• Recruiting! We need bodies as tribute! Fresh ones!
• Interacting with other Major Faction - Aldaraan, SJO, The Kathol Outback as they transition into the Underground again ( SO MUCH FUN ) and even GR (minor faction). Mandos as well for those who are more aligned to GA world views.
• Streamlining our own Forum and information to make it easier for members to access and know what the GA is about.

The Tygaran Alliance is presently discussing how to move on story-wise post-Kaeshana. We've got some plots in the works and will be doing our own after-action story, which will toe in with some internal IC changes.


We'd be down for future interaction with GA, be it in diplomacy threads, tech development, training and PVE. The same applies to the evolving conflict with the FO. Totally down for skirmishes, recon runs etc. We've got ample IC reason to be invested in that storyline! We can write plots about SIS, Tygara and Outback/Underground stirring up trouble in First Order space via guerilla attacks, raids and so on.


The Tygaran Alliance and GA held the Citadel of Dusk throughout the entire battle for Kaeshana, so I'm going to assume we evacuated the Eldorai natives who sided with us. Will probably Codes sub Eldorai resistance forces. Something like the Polish Home Army or the Free French Forces from WWII.


Setting up defences on important border worlds via Codex subbed bases could also be a good idea. * builds more fortresses *

As time permits, I'm going to do some recon runs. Got some scout fighters and probes to play with.

Also, the Underground did a mission a few months back to get a bunch of sensor data on FO ship movements through the Hoth system, so I'll fold that in at some point.

We should definitely get more stuff going with FO. Now after Kaeshana there's more than enough of a reason to go on a full on fight against them. Maybe not quite a war yet with tons of invasions, but surely more skirmishes should be had.

Perhaps creating a mission board with different missions regarding the First Order would help at getting lots of small groups to work against the FO, therefore making them divide their forces as well. And maybe some missions for just PvE stuff.

In a more diplomatic perspective, Alderaan would be a great ally and we should also interact more with the Silver Jedi.

More faction threads!

I also don't know what the faction staff's currently planning to do, but strengthening our territory on the west side should be a priority. Now that the FO have Kaeshana, perhaps we should try to grab Janara hex (or at least only the planet) and Belgaroth hex. However, Brokellia hex and Coruscant hex would give us a safe haven in the north. There are tons of planets in the two hexes, all of which are famous SW Legends planets, so that would add a lot of additional value to us.

Also, not only looking outside our territory. We should have skirmishes, faction threads, missions or whatever else on planets that already belong to us. Maybe instead of focusing on yet another story arc from outside the Alliance, maybe something from the inside?

I'm all for infiltrating enemy space, being some sort of field agent. That sounds really interesting. Was actually gonna do that with Rebel anyway, but this kind of gives him incentive.

We could stir up the Underground and the Rebel alliance to maybe do some guerilla skirmishes within FO space, build up a resistance there, maybe even on Kaeshana, we could very easily draw a parallel between it and European nations during WWII like Poland, where I'm from, since some of FO's leadership are very clearly drawing influence from German Reich.

I discussed this already on Tygaran Alliance faction forum but I'm planning on doing thread, or threads, with [member="Joza Perl"] to heal and train the wounded soldiers Ludolf blinded and branded, form a special cybernetic unit from them called the Reforged or the Unbroken, we could maybe also pull wounded GA PCs into this like [member="Mao"]? Also a Kaeshana Army-In-Exile formed from the survivors who aligned with us as guerilla soldiers and survived the battle.

I also wanted to move my personal tech development along before another big engagement and I could use some help with that, especially from Exploration and Agricultural corps because part of it will be colonizing uninhabited planets within our territory, I'll probably post a separate thread seeking people interested to write with me on this unless I'll forget

I can't speak for the rest of the Silvers, but I'm always down for working with the GA on future threads and development.

The Silver Order has an upcoming skirmish with The Sith Order, with some of the Sith also being active with the First Order ICly. It would be a great show of solidarity if the Galactic Alliance (and our neighbors on Tygara, [member="Elpsis Elaris"]) could lend a hand against a common threat.


On the topic of Jedi sects, maybe some members of the NJO could cool it on the heretic talk? It makes me and some other Jedi players outside of the NJO feel really unwelcome when we get put down for doing things differently. While we have different opinions about how we should carry out our duties as Jedi, we're all still on the same team with the same goal of trying to make the galaxy a better place for all. With that said, I have seen a gradual shift towards being more inclusive over the last few months, which is great.

PVE storylines on the side. We know not everyone is pro war and we need to support our members here.

The SJO is big on PVE, so I think this is an area where we could find some common ground to craft some wonderful stories.

OOC, nobody should be bashing the Silvers and I'm sorry if you've witnessed this Arisa. If it troubles you further or continues into the future then you may wish to contact the GA FAs to talk about it. Naturally, IC is IC and we can do nothing towards character opinions. But such is life and fanfic.
