She looked at the grandmaster and remained passive beneath the face mask... then turned to Taiden and spoke. "Do not operate medical equipment you are not trained to use. These nurses are medical professionals and I have been trained on one the finest on Coruscant." She said it and looked over at the echani able to hear the other boys question. "Controlling another pain is dangerous. You are not taking it away, you are numbing the pain receptors in their brain and once you stop it will come back usually worse. Most healers should use it sparingly because it will take their focus and concentration, sap at their strength which in a situation where you have to heal and focus on more then one patient. It will cause more harm then good as once you fall from exhaustion. All of those relying on you, all of those who are waiting for you to help them." She said it but was looking at some of the other patients while she brought up the hardlight displays near the patients charts. She looked at Taiden. "Please in the future Taiden use the hardlight projectors we have in the tents for viewing and don't alter the datapads. It can cause more trouble and be seen as tampering with patient records."

Her master answered the question and Charlie looked towards the woman in the corner of the room. There was plan, but there seemed to be some extra things they needed to do. The thought made Charlie smile as she stood, and walked quietly over towards her Master. Her smile was hidden behind the high collar of the hoodie, smiling right now was probably not the socially right thing to do. Infiltration and Shadow missions were something she had always wanted to participate in. Naturally light on her feet, she figured it would be a wise field she could enter.

Taking the cloak, she looked at Cassius and watched how he used his. She looked at her own and paused for a moment. It was an interesting tool and would be her first time using it. Charlie wondered how she could get one for herself, not just have it for missions but for other things. Pulling it around her frame, she latched it and made sure it was secure. Jyoti’s warning was directed towards them, but emphasized on Charlie, which made her sigh softly. Cassius offered a suggestion on shutting down security systems while they were inside. Charlie bit her lower lip as she thought quietly and then responded.

“Wouldn’t doing so tip off any one keeping watch while we’re in there? If anything, we could scan them and pull any information that would allow the raid to breech quietly. The less we do to mess with things I think it would be for the better.” Charlie shrugged and then moved to start gathering the limited things she had brought with her. The lightsaber was already on her back, but she needed to grab the small dagger she had brought with her. When she found it, she quickly tucked it into her boot and turned on her cloak. She waited for Cassius to finish and for Jyoti to give any last-minute information they needed.

"Local options for flour, cream, ice cream, all come with bulk discount"

"Do wesa have a forecast for oursa main product lines on disen market? Wesa not act upon disen bids from suppliers without an idea of how much of each wesa need"

For items of that nature, forecasting was more accurate if performed on entire lines of merchandise rather than on an individual product if that particular line of merchandise shared common ingredients. Now the Gungan was not the most familiar with this market, but in the fast food market, long-run forecasting is defined as three years, with ingredient demand being forecast weekly basis, as a stark contrast to real estate, and, with it, property insurance, where long-run forecasting is usually done with monthly demand and over ten or more years, sometimes as many as twenty. The question being: would there even be retailers willing to carry Pizza Hutt frozen products, knowing that New Haven was the trial run in this restaurant market? That was the main variable that would affect the first year, with the Squib believing that the second and third years are going to be affected by both restaurants and retailing, predicting that breaded fish will sell better on the retail market than pizzas will, at least outside of New Haven, but New Haven would probably be more of a pizza or cake market.

So, while she was waiting on the starting block for Elianne to finish the four laps assigned to her, Varindar realized that, while the Purnimas, Outfits and Ta'jars all slowed down in the fly leg, by virtue of putting the women last, Elianne's style clearly was better when she had to twist both arms simultaneously, unlike Varindar. So the gap between the lead teams in lanes 3-5 and Elianne steadily narrowed, and, by the end of the second fly lap, the gap between the lead pack and Elianne was no longer ten seconds, but seven seconds. There was some hope for them, but it all fell on Varindar: swimming a lap one second faster than their opponents in better lanes did was a tall order. And now they no longer were last by the time Elianne was finished with her fly leg, wearing her brand new swimming cap purchased from the school for the occasion: Elianne brought the team from eighth to fourth in the fly leg, and now with Varindar diving, it was all too clear that whatever shot at victory they have depends on her; of course, her blood circulation increased in speed and she could hear her heartbeat at increasing volumes the faster her blood flowed in her body as she swam in that lane #8, a little faster than she had on Ceraluen because she had, well, much less to swim.

Little Saeria Aldan-Keth sat watching those buzzing around. Buzz Buzz Buzz. Holding her teddy-bear and poking people when they weren’t looking. Never aging a day, never had, never would. Crystal sleeps had seen to that. Her care minder was trying to teach her about what they were building, along with a lot of the other younglings and child padawans on a field trip.

All she kept saying was. “What do the big ones do?” Picking out the biggest buildings she could as they traveled about. She loved the big ones the best’est of all the others. The little ones couldn’t fit many people in, so they weren’t as good she’d decided.

Huming a tune to herself. Little [member="Althenea"] was with her, and they were playing see who could poke the Jedi Master(s) the most without getting caught. Glade having taken [member="Varindar Asyt"]'s advice to bring Althenea to the silver rest, much safer than with her mother or in the wilds she'd been raised in so far. [member="Siobhan Kerrigan"]. While of course playing very innocent about all this tagging. The Jedi not onto their schemes! It wasn’t a fair game, Saeria had been doing this a very long time. Althenea was struggling to keep up, but a game of tag around the Jedi Masters using their legs turned out to be much more fun than watching them build things.

Until she ran into one particular Jedi [member="Ugohr Poof"] and his floppy ears. Fiddling with her teddybear, a scraggly very old thing, one eye missing and patches of fur worn away. Althenea looked at Saeria, then Saeria looked at Althenea. Both of the younglings looking up at [member="Ugohr Poof"] half a smile, half a wide-eyed wonder look. Did someone say "ice cream?"

Glancing to Master [member="Cathbodua"], Valae offered a small nod. “Indeed, pain control shouldn’t be used as a treatment in itself. The source will ultimately need to be addressed.” She said, agreeing with the other healer’s comment.

Drawing a deep breath, she listened as Cathbodua offered her insight to Taiden. Folding her hands patiently in her lap, she let her eyes shift from one to the other in quiet observation. Each healer had their own ways, and it was really up to the individual to find out the best methods for themselves. However, Valae knew that multiple views would help provide a bit of insight.

“As a healer, I rely mainly upon the force – you should too, if that’s what your most comfortable doing. However, I do advise working closely with our medical professionals here. The Silver Circle has both, so we’re quite a team. If you’d like to learn how to use some of their medical instruments, I’m sure they’d be happy to help.”

There was a lot more to healing than may have met the eye, but today’s clinic was truly a good opportunity for newcomers to get their feet wet.
“And if you’d like to keep working with us to learn, you’re more than welcome. Today really is just the beginning.” Valae offered a kind smile.

The lines of transports didn't stop coming, with Sigrid at the helm of one, particularly massive repulsor truck. As large as the cabin was, though, It was still a snug fit for the big Valkyri. Rarely did you see one as a pilot within the Rangers.

The hum of the repulsor coils and the creak of the repulsor trailers was loud, but the heavy metal blaring over the speaker system and out the open windows as even louder. Wailing at the top of her lungs as she drove, it was a struggle not to headbang and lose sight of the road. She imagined the farmers in the area wouldn't care much for having their fences busted!

She came around the corner from a tight turn that made the trailers rattle. Thankfully each car was equipped with its own inertial compensator to deal with the Valyri's crazy driving.

District 9 was finally in view, marked by all the half-completed houses and active construction zones. She only had a vague idea of where she was going after reaching the district, so she turned off the road into a large empty plot to get her bearings.

She unhooked her datapad from the truck, then syncing it to the wireless headset hanging around her neck before hopping out of the cabin. Stretching, she started to wander around the area to look for someone knowledgeable about the operation. Even out of her armor, the Valkyri was an imposing figure nearly two and a half meters tall. Like the rest of her brethren, she was hard to miss.

Roona held up her hand in a wave to Padawan Swail as she passed by. Watching for directions, she continued to drive up the rural road to the construction site. As she began to catch up with the convoy of trucks and transports, she thought she heard rather loud music blaring up ahead. Craning her neck, she glanced down the line of transports to see one of the repulsor trucks make a tight turn. Eyebrows rose slightly, she turned down the same small street.

The houses that lined the way were in various states of construction, but none of them in this area were quite ready to be lived in. Pulling up behind the truck, she spotted the tall form of Captain Forsberg exit the cabin. The other woman was hard to miss, that was certain. Indeed there were some that found Roona to be intimidating with her slightly above-average height and cold stare, but she likely appeared far less imposing than her Valkyri comrade.

Sliding off her speeder, she lifted her chin slightly in greeting.

“I thought that was you,” She said, the corner of her mouth tugged up into a grin. “How have you been, Sigrid?”

Outside of the Radama Raiders, the Valkyri captain was one of the few that Roona could call a friend. And though they were both part of the Antarian Rangers, it was a larger organization than most thought. The Captain had her own unit of Valkyri, and it seemed that Roona’s path rarely crossed with theirs. Or at least that was how it had been thus far. Truly, she did wish to see these Valkyri in action one day.

“I’ll help you unload,” She said, though she had a feeling that Sigrid would make fast work of both their loads of construction materials.

"Itsa my supply chain manager" he answered [member="Saeria Aldan-Keth"]'s query.

So busy that Ugohr was in sorting out the issues of procuring ingredients and other issues related to getting the business done on Durkteel, oblivious to the younglings trying to have fun out there. Sure, [member="Althenea"] also seemed more fond of the Gungan than the Squib, but maybe either little girl would even want ice cream in the first place, while Ugohr would need to call upon the ice cream machine in his ship for the staffers to use on commercial missions such as this one, knowing that the managerial-level Squibs wanted Pizza Hutt food as a fringe benefit of their job, which was quickly extended to all managerial-level staff. Theysa may want ice cream, mesa needen to be in good faith to them-sa: between Jedi wesa must support each other in disen diffcult times; however, mesa have to bill them-sa Silvers down da road, and not just for disen carnival, he thought, while he'd rather limit the tax write-offs of that nature. But, before he can actually prepare and serve the ice cream for either young lady, he would need to make sure that they will be satisfied and hence know the flavors they are looking for.

"Dat Squib and mesa both want to get Pizza Hutt restaurants open on disen planet, and theysa sell ice cream, cookies, pizzas, breaded fish, salad, and even steak if yousa want" he addressed both younglings. "Any specific flavor yousa want, if yousa OK with soft ice cream?"

Ao was more than grateful to see Fiolette, "next time you leave me here with him, I'm watering your drinks."

Fiolette chuckled as she set her coat on the back of a chair, their booth was busy. The first thing she did was to pull her chair up and grab the applications that had been turned in, Petrovsky could be heard interviewing someone. "Noted, and thank you Ao. I brought Shed back in one piece, by the by."

"Thank you," Ao put her arm in Shed's and pulled him away before he had a chance to say hello to someone. Raol had returned with Dansen, and set a crate down beside Fiolette as he handed her a datapad.

She took a look at it, "I see, well if that's what it will cost sure - but I want to maintain that his personality not be altered."

They spoke of giving Dansen a combat routine which included a few part swaps. The most that worried Fiolette was that he not be altered in any way but the process could take some time just as well. "It's one option, but no I get it I'll be sure to keep Dansen, Dansen."

Fio pushed the tablet away gently and flipped through a few more applications. "Here, can you take these and go through them. I think Ao marked the ones we should look at, so sort those for me please."

"Sure."

Her communicator blipped, their purchase had been approved and so while she looked through and sorted the applications with Raol. The Galidraani thought on the next steps for Primo Victoria's education and training center here on Durkteel. Ultimately she could transfer all her assets from Tokmia and shut it down completely. That would work, now that she was also transferring assets from Rakata Beta to Gall, and Sor Yusan assets to Druckenwell and Corellia. Just a few more places to go before Primo Victoria would be completely free of the First Order.

Taiden’s entire training so far had been on deciphering or working with pain, which was carefully weighed and measured against Cathbodua's advice to [member="Tanaski Yumi"]. Heeding her words on not overdoing it on the medical instruments as well, he remained very still and pondered. It didn’t help him decide whether to train in them or rely on the force more but perhaps only he could answer that question. Respectfully resetting the datapad back to its former two dimensional flat self, “certainly Master Cathbodua,” the Echani made the adjustments back to working order and soon the device was returned to its former condition, offering a short bow to her than he’d taken note of her words.

Perhaps he should work on creating his own medical instruments. That would be a good beginning for this new venture into other, more mechanical aspects of healing. He had studied healing before but bodymechanics for example and diagnostics generally were new to him. Trouble was he was very slow with the static 2d reading in front of him, that he was taking much longer than the rest to speak or to follow and having difficulty keeping up.

After a veeeeery long pause, their keen student had another question for the Grandmaster, always another question, then another, then another. Most of them contemplated in silence, this one was shared. “I would be honoured to work besides the nurses and learn of their life paths, their roles and responsibilities here.” That sounded exactly what he was looking for, something out of the way behind the scenes caring for the injured or elderly. “But perhaps, you would allow me to learn from you both as you work, these opportunities do not come up very often.” To have two skilled Master healers in close proximity, he didn’t want to pass that up! "How for example would you address foreign bodies within someone's system? Perhaps a malfunctioning implant, or fragments from a battle." That and spinal injuries were of real personal concern to him as of late.

The Ranger - [member="Roona Osmari"] - passed by and Stephanie waved.

”Ranger Osmari comin' up,” she spoke.

Turning back, she noticed a large repulsor tuck pulling up to the side, letting a convoy of speeders past. Stephanie waved them on and walked over to the truck to help the driver. But she didn't expect to greet the drive who stepped down.

The figure of a Valkyri - [member="Sigrid Forsberg"] - stepped down to greet Ranger Osmari. Stephanie styled out her walk to come to a stop, but her face was one of awe and bewilderment. The girl was huge! Stephanie had never seen a Valkyri in person, up so close. She didn't expect this from today that was for sure.

”Erm...ok, Swail here. I think we need to close off this entrance, we got a truck blocking the way in so all other transport go around the back, we got a lot of supplies coming in with this load.”

Stephanie smiled to herself and nodded. Both the truck and it's driver were imposing sights, but they did the job perfectly. It was time to help coordinate the supplies and direct what had to go where.

She jogged over to her rucksack and pulled out the site plans and carried them over, conversing with site as she did in her ear-piece. A well oiled machine at work.

"Look at the Trandoshan team in lane #8: they are steadily catching up to the lead group!" the announcer shouted, while Varindar kept swimming as fast as she possibly could.

It was all up on her now, and she intended to prove that she had the fastest freestyle split of the gang. Well, she had to if she wanted to come from behind: in fact, by the time the second lap ended, the young Dathomirian swimmer was about one-half of a second from the Outfits, but ahead of the Purnimas by that same amount. With two laps left to go, her heart kept beating very strongly and very loudly since the speed at which she was swimming demanded a lot out of her bloodstream. Meanwhile, in lanes 4 and 5, the Outfits and the Ta'jars are being blown away by just how fast Varindar seemed to be going. It was definitely going to be a race that made the Ta'jar Blood Gang nervous, much like the Outfit; the Purnimas, on the other hand, were much more clean and it seemed to be the high school-vs-hotel days all over again from the standpoint of the Ta'jars and also the swimmers that were in the high school team back in that era. Especially as Varindar was edging closer to victory with every twist of her arms, every kick in her stroke, overtaking the Outfits at the start of the final lap and the Ta'jars down the homestretch and touches the pool wall, happy with her performance in this slow pool.

"Who would have believed that the bottom-seeded team would somehow win this race? Varindar Asyt did just that in lane #8 for the guest team from Trandosha!"

Both Padawan accepted the cloaks as part of their kit, Cassius flipping his onto an active state to try it out. The dark cloak suddenly gave off the illusion of being translucent, projectors reflecting its surroundings. Everything seemed to be working with at least one.

Cassius inquired about the possibility of sabotage, but before she could answer, Charlie chimed in, her remarks echoing Jyoti's thoughts.

"Charlie's correct," she replied. "I'm hesitant to have you tamper with their systems and possibly alert them before we hit the compound. If we had more time, then I would have liked to go that route, but I think we'll just go with cutting off the power to the facilities."

She took a turn peeking out the window with a pair of macrobinoculars, observing the scene with her own eyes. The block was mostly quiet, but she could see people posted on the rooftoop and prowling the streets a couple of them led some nasty looking Akk dogs around the perimeter. With keen senses, they could be a challenge to pass on the way to the docks. Homeless were scattered here and there against fences and buildings. She was certain a few them were also acting as watchers, a popular tactic by gangsters.

"I don't have anything else for you, just watch the dogs along the way. They can pick up on you two if you're not careful.

Corran held his hand over the boys chest, his eyes closed as he mended his damaged body. The boy had been on board an aged ship along with most of his family, en route from the fleet in orbit. The shuttle had barely survived entry into the atmosphere, and a terminal had exploded just before landing. The boy would have been killed if Corran hadn't been in the area. Now, he focused all his abilities and force control to mend the torn flesh, both within and without the boys body. Sweat trickled down his face as he let out a final sigh, sitting back on his heels. Almost at once, the boy began to cough, turning his head away as Corran pushed himself to his feet. Stepping aside, he watched as the boys mother rushed forward, barely giving Corran a second glance. Wiping the sweat from his forehead, Corran walked out of the tent, grabbing his cloak and pulling it back around his body. Just before he exited the tent, he extended his hand, the saberstaff sitting on the floor of the tent flying to his hand.

As he walked out into tent camp, Corran had to briefly step back as three children ran by, eagerly chasing a small animal. It was a small camp, located several kilometers away from the others. The people here were reclusive and secretive, and even as refugees they wanted to stay to themselves for the time being. It didn't bother Corran, he preferred to work on his own as it was.

Sensing a brief flash of dark side energy across the camp, Corran turned and began walking in that direction, his cloak billowing out behind him as the wind rushed through the hills, carrying with it the smell of smoke and wildlife. Coming to another tent, Corran briefly paused outside, taking a deep breath before opening the flag and stepping inside.

Tana was not expecting [member="Cathbodua"] to act so negative towards her student and the grand master, sure he was not trained but it was not like giving him the pad was going to do anything wrong, still much better then how his own mother would react, boy that would have been a sight. Regardless it was an interesting ideal combining medical science with the force to make sure a person was treated properly, "so in theory one could use the force to heal the wound and nub the nerves while administering some sort of medication to deal the pain"? If such the was the case, if a Jedi healer also had medical training, well they would be able to heal people in huge amount, and with the aid of other would not tax their stamina as much if doing it alone.

Lost in thought Tana had not realized that the wound he was working on had already healed up, a sudden shift in the force alerting him to such a condition as he not longer felt the presence dead/damaged skin cells, the area around the wound now looking as if nothing had happened. "Master [member="Valae Kitra"] I believe I have finished tending to the wound, is there anything you have to say about my performance"? Himself being unsure if the rate of healing and method was up to scratch, if not simply more practice was required.

Supply Chain. Not puzzled one bit. Saeria had a strangely well-formed understanding of what that meant for a youngling, “mmm hmmph” she said musically continuing to hum, but oddities of happenstance were common with the girl. Should her father [member="Darth Proeliator"] ever return they might find themselves in some very bizarre conversations.

They both looked at each other, then back at mr floppy ears giggling as he spoke. Camby Berry! Please” Saeria said, an ewok favorite, she loved the tart taste because it made her lips buzz. Althenea took some encouraging, she wasn’t used to icecream or people. Saeria whispered something very secretive in her ear, very secretive, all about chocolate.

“Chocolate,” the quieter girl said, wondering what Saeria meant about it making your head go yum. Saeria held up Zub Zub her teddy to get a good look at Ugohr, so he could answer him too and get his own icecream. The rough looking old teddy obviously didn’t speak but Saeria was satisfied when he’d been held there for a bit. For some reason it looked incredibly old, and like it had been sewn together over and over again, or possibly gnawed on by wookies.

“Are you a Jedi?” Althenea asked quietly, the other girl had a wild look about her, like she wasn’t comfortable in the streets. It was a miracle she'd said anything.

"Yes, mesa Jedi" he answered Althenea's question before going around to serve both people.

After answering the child's question, Ugohr realized that serving a wide variety of soft ice cream flavors was not easy at all: he had to adjust for the many possible flavors, with two knobs to control for the various flavors, while remaining mindful that the chocolate one was much more commonly ordered than... camby berry. Which, in ice cream form, was a light blue because the flavor came from concentrates, with a different concentrate for the chocolate-flavored one, which made it a somewhat light brown. So, while the Squib was out there reviewing the various bids from ingredient suppliers, the Gungan, on the other hand, prepared two separate cones, while also taking into account the size of the servings. He'd rather serve age-appropriate servings to both Saeria and [member="Althenea"], so he'd rather not give standard-sized servings: they may not even be able to finish the serving. Once he was done preparing the two cones of ice cream, he was bringing them to the two girls, while watching out for potential spills on the floor.

"Yoursa cones of ice cream" he told the two girls, while handing the camby berry one to Saeria and the chocolate one to Althenea.

"Even though, for some reason, you always see moneylaundering in virtually every meet we take part in, we might be swimming against each other in the next nine events or so"

"Hopefully they won't place us in the same heats and, depending on how much of a hand the Ta'jars have in determining seeding, they probably want us in separate heats. But if the Outfits have more of a say in heat allocation, they could place us in the same heat, but that's more of a semifinal/final consideration"

Usually, in a pyramidal meet, circle seeding is used to determine who will swim in which of the first three heats and in which lane, by virtue of it affecting the top 24 seeds - if the fast-to-slow seeding method is used, otherwise they will do so in the last three heats. Just that neither Elianne nor Varindar were familiar with this meet format - on other planets they swam meets on, swimming meets seemed to be ran more like one would run a hippodrome, where there were no winners beyond the heat winners themselves. It was time for the two ladies to retreat into the fastness of the dressing room, knowing that their heats will take place later in the day. This meet format seemed so different to Elianne and, to a lesser extent, Varindar, since Varindar did, in fact, take part in both pyramidal and timed-finals meets back on Dathomir, albeit perhaps only a handful of meets, compared to what they each experienced. But Varindar couldn't help but think of how much money the organizers were, in fact, laundering, under the pretense of being a charity meet held for the purposes of helping the Refugee Relief Movement, to say nothing of other local underworld entities.
