That sounded logical, as with science it would take trial and error. It would take time but that as hardly a concern to him. He would need to begin that soon, along with tests into other forms of armoring. It was going to be an interesting endeavor and very insightful. It would have been a necessity at some point anyways, best to start early and make adjustments as needed.

"Thank you. For the engines you said you knew a contact with ideas of advanced construction?" With armor sorted it was important to move to the propulsion, after a fight was little more than a turret if it lacked the ability to move.

"FOr propulsion I have been working for improved performance engines and we have managed to develop one, needs a large enough cooling but can triple ship speeds as well as vehicles since it can be made variable sizes for the different things." The jedi master was moving with a couple of things while she brought it up on her holopad with a small nod of her head. "There should be some nice things, we also worked on making a stronger reactor with isotope five so that our ships would be able to produce stronger shields and shot but also use more advanced systems such as our stealth cloaks, holographic hardlight navigational suites and training suites."

That was a truly extraordinary development on her part. If he were constructing a space faring vehicle he would have had the engines cooled by the vacuum of space along with standard cooling systems. That was not really an option with an atmospheric vessel, at least it would be far less efficient than he would have preferred. However he already had ideas for a powerful coolant system, intended originally for some of his droid projects. The isotope 5 reactor would have been a pleasant addition, but it would require the acquisition of large quantities of the substance, something that he was not capable of accomplishing with ease. Perhaps later fighters could benefit from the advancements, but not this one.

"Have you made any advanced sensors that could give a fighter an advantage in sensor range or power?" While he asked he was already pulling together information on potential output engines and creating hypothetical simulations within his mind to test design combinations.

Advanced sensors... no she had not made something like that, several advanced systems sure but not sensors. "I have not, sensors and communications have remained low tech in ways, the more advanced you work to make it the more someone wants to develop new ways to hack and mess with it. Using the low tech approach has worked out a great deal better in some cases for me." She was always up to try though and there was an advanced sensor she was working on with Arisa Yune for a special project but getting that larger then personal would be a difficult thing. "There is a special sensor that I have been working on but it will be small scale."

Her argument had merit, but then again most technology had not advanced much in the past few thousand years, in fact it had degraded since the age of the Rakata and Gree. The use of blaster technology was proof of that. There was were avenues that lead to more powerful weapons, defenses, and more. Yet organics appeared to be content with that which they had. Their complacency in that regard would be their downfall. Stagnancy had historically be shown to be directly connected with a culture's disappearance.

Sensors, as with everything else, would need to become more efficient and effective in order for warfare to advance and in so doing create the ability to strengthen elsewhere in their technology. All they had to do was step outside of their comfort zone. [member="Matsu Ike"] was one of the few that Ultimatum believed would be capable of leading the organics into a better future. She was trapped by the dogma of the organic governments, something that the droid believed she would need to transcend in order to accomplish the greatest that she could.

"What is it capable of? Do you believe that it could be used in this fighter?"

"It could be, the development we are doing for it is to detect beings even if they are using stealth tech. The developer we have been working with is incorporating their tech with ours to create it as a combination project and we have been working to make it small and portable so that it can be worn by many." She was looking over the droid but thinking about the scouter sensor and the hope was a far superior version of a sensor that others could see and use for themselves when it was needed. "I do not know about what we will be able to put it on but for ones able to wear it or hold it the sensor should work." She stayed with it while looking out over the planet with some amusement.

That was an interesting concept, but such a powerful one would require such a large energy source to make it effective that it would not be good for a starfighter. It wasn't really as important as the shielding, propulsion, and weaponry systems. There were already some fairly powerful sensors that could be upgraded for his purpose, for now. He was concerned though, there was something that he had yet to think about in regards to his working with [member="Matsu Ike"] on these fighters.

"Forgive the failure to deal with this earlier, but what do you want in return for the work you have helped me with? I would not want you to feel that this was a one-sided deal."

Hmm it was a fair question and she was used to one sided deals when it came to some things. Helping out others and then they don't have the time to aid in projects when she needed them. She was used to it which meant. "Well I could use some help what will hopefully become a new model shield. This world is a good place and the prototype is in my ship." They had been working on implementing a new model of layered shielding that would give anyone who was using it a better level of protection from different elements regardless of the circumstances. Multi-Spectral Generalist Shielding so that it was even across the board from energy, kinetic, heat, cold, electrical, ion/emp, environmental and sonic was some something many others had designed she had seen.

"By all means then, begin testing as you see fit. I will help where I can. Anything particular I can assist with?" The droid was interested in such tech, but he would not attempt to steal or otherwise take advantage of the situation. He would be willing to help, taking notes of anything he discovered on his own, and that would hopefully aid her in this creation of shields. He already had his preference for this ship, it was a matter of installing it into the power grid and converting part of the extra electrical power into other systems. It was amazing what this help had done for him. He was glad that he could repay in like kind, as was just and fair.

Looking at him as she could think of a few things he might be able to help with she was speaking. "Your help in combining and making a more compacted version of the shield instead of a large belt needed would be great." She was working a few of the ideas in her head when she went over with it. "We should be able to make it quite nice and if all turns out well an isotope five power cell powering it would increase the shields output and protection quite nicely." She had soem plans for all fo the things they could do and with more into it they would be able to protect themselves before she was walking and sending the message for Harmony to head off and go get the prototype of the shield so they could work on it while production for the ship came.

The droid was interested further in this shield, if all it required was an isotope-5 generator to make it effective. That would be a good sign of its natural efficiency. Ultimatum nodded, "I shall help where it is possible. Where shall we start?" He took a moment to make certain the fighter was beginning to be produced. They were starting the frame based on his specifications, while other parts of the factory began work on testing various combinations of metal to create an effective Matrix armor. [member="Matsu Ike"] had proven to contain a wealth of information very helpful for his cause. He hoped that one day he could express the full extent of his gratitude. It was a question of how long it would take to reach that point, whether or not any of his friends would be there to see the light of dawn.

Matsu looked at him with a nod fo her head while she was moving and bringing up the shielding unit now so they could test. she had made a rather good and strong line of the gincho power cell. Isotope five was plentiful after all on Shri-Tal and illerium more so. Their knowledge of how to make more let her have it designed to function for lightsabers as well when is came up on her forearm. "The shield itself creates a layered effect using several other models so far. A Thermal shield generator that protects from the heat, an Electrical Capacitance Shield that will protection from electrical weapons, a Mandalorian power shield for defense against melee focused attacks and energy from a lightsaber, a Xythan force shield for some additional protection and a Rad-dampening shielding set up so that it will be able to run. With less emphasis on its own power and more on being a multi-spectral shielding unit able to withstand for a time. The shielding amulets will be able to incorporate them so it can be worn on the forearm with a suit of armor and give the protection needed."

Well the heat shielding part would be easy to test on Mustafar, and in just about any factory or ship the rad-shielding would not be too difficult to trial. The energy shielding and melee might take a little longer, but it would be fairly easy. Overall it would not be too hard to test such a device, perhaps building it might be more of a challenge. However, [member="Matsu Ike"] appeared to believe that it was entirely capable of being produced, so the droid was unconcerned about the production for testing.

He was confident that this would be a valuable addition to her company. Of course, he wondered what would happen if the Isotope power source accidentally exploded or was damaged. The original power sources from Isotope 5 were said to have been unstable, yet a great deal more effective than other power sources at the time. It still seemed to remain one of the preferred power sources to this day.

"Well if you have the basic concept we can try to put it together and then test."

Perfect, they could work on a lot of things with it all, the prototype was made they would just need to work on the hard part of it. Testing it while the manufacturing of the mesh happened for the large droid. He'd be able to handle the things they were happening and be able to add some more things to it while they got it ready for a hopeful production level design to be able to push forward. Environmental shielding and different types of attacks from weapons were an important thing for what they wanted to work with when she gave him a nod. Sliding it on her forearm as she displayed it looking over him. "THe testing phase of it we will be able to do here easily enough."

Ultimatum nodded, exactly as he had expected. There was nothing too complex in the testing phase, given that they both knew what needed to be done and they had the systems to do so. "How would you like to begin the testing? Which specific part would you like to focus on right now?" He wondered if she really wanted to be one of the test subjects. Then again, she was a Jedi and could probably survive more readily than most organics the conditions that would be utilized. Though Ultimatum would have used a droid.

Aside from the power itself, they would need to test the longevity and stability. Though that would be more easily tested than the strength of the shield, at least it would be safer. It would be taken care of swifter than the metal production, which his sensors were telling the first tests would be conducted on in approximately fifteen minutes. Just needed the metal to finish cooling and setting.

Well they could begin right now as it stood with some of the things and she was looking at some of the things when she raised an eyebrow turning it on with a purplish shimmer. "Well we can start now and see how long it can last, duration is important and will give a chance to see how it works as she looked over her arms with a nod of her head to him. Prepared to work on anything while they went around looking at a number of the different things here, the mesh that the large droid wanted they could set up. She would also be able to test the capabilities of the shield with the heat that was here and how well it worked to contour to the body so they would be able to get it working.

That was a good start. They would need to move to the work area to oversee the metal testing and use the heat systems. Ultimatum could have had the rooms begin to heat up to test the shielding, but it would be better to leave that for an area that was already heated. The metal production rooms would be best for testing the heat capabilities. It would also not be too difficult to trial the melee resistance capabilities at that point as well. There were pieces of metal that could be used, some of which might prove to fit within parameters of mass and integrity equal to that of a standard sword.

"Alright, let's head over to the metal testing, There we can see what level of temperature the shield is capable of withstanding." The droid began to lead the way.

Hmm he seemed to be thinking and she was getting a little better at droid speak as well as reading her AI's that well she was learning when those processors were running to come up with something and she was prepared for any number of things while they moved forward to go and see the metal being tested. The powercell reading well enough and it wasn't going to burn out anytime soon so they had more to test while she walked. "Let us go and see, there might be some things we can see and maybe improve. You might like some of the works we have been making in terms of droids. We found new information from a facility in the rift that was rebuilt by slavers. Their information on droids and programming were interesting."

That would always be welcome knowledge. New droid concepts were difficult enough to come upon. He had remembered learning of some form of sentient artificial lifeform, one that naturally grew. That was something that he had attempted to follow some time ago, but the intended trip had fallen apart. He had instead turned his attention to creating droids of his own and putting his efforts towards new creations. He looked forward to the day that he could focus on the discovery of old beings, rather than preparations for impending war.

The droid had contemplated using a pistol to fire on the shield, but such an action would probably not be taken too well. Also it was one of the least safest methods of testing the strength of the shield. It was perhaps one of the quickest methods to make one question his sanity and his judgement. "I would be interested in hearing what you have learned. Droids are close to my heart, as you could probably guess." He smiled at that.

She looked at him and brought it up on the forearm datapad with a nod of her head. "We recovered information on the biot droids that were developed in the rift. Organic flesh and some function with a metal framwork and the processing power of a computer for a brain. They have a lot going for them to provide many of the things. We have developed a few of them and been working on their biots to form organs that can be used in transplants." They could make a lot of things testing the shielding but also getting to discuss some of the other things they had as the metal was worked on.
