Yeah there really is no easy solution other than dividing it into many locations and hoping for it to naturally slow down in some and speed up in others. Like that is the easy one that is easy for me as the event organizer.

If you have any other idea's though I'd love to hear them. And I mean on anything, not just this issue. Got an objective (something might pop up after I put up more info in a week) or a prize or anything like that. Also feel free to PM me. Some things in the story are better kept secret after all.

I am going to say yes. If they follow all the fleet limitation rules on the rules page and aren't trying to be dicks and just up a major factions fleet (I leave this up to the various major faction heads to police) then yes. If someone is caught abusing this, I will throw in some hooks into the thread. So if like Republic Engineering Corporation or MandalMotors comes in and is clearly just fleeting with the Republic/Mandalorians as a way to get their ship count up I might have like... a meator shower come in and pelt their shields or something less stupid to even things back up.

Just waiting to see the cluster, if I'll end up being too slow I'm just gonna hang around with a few medical frigates and escorts for em and just treat wounded and salvage damaged vessels. . . . . so long as no one shoots at them that is.

I mean I can tell you how it will go right now. In first 4-5 hours we will get a metric pisstonne of posts. Like 200ish. After that things will start to gradually slow down.

Now I will say this. I think I'm going to divide the event up into multiple threads. Several people suggested it to me, and I'd thought of it myself and didn't really consider it much of an option until I started to think about it. So there would be; Space Thread, and then two threads for planetside and then have event staff/moderators/whoever post between the two when one area would effect the other. That should make it so there is less postage in a single thread and make it look less daunting to join in.

What does everyone think of that?
