Vaudin moved into the system with his old TL-1800 and opened up his comm suite. He knew everyone had a role to play in this Dax had his end covered and everyone was here to do their part. Vaudin wanted to stick to what he was good at, but since Joza wasn't here, flying his ship and avoiding getting shot, would have to do.

"Attention spacers in signal range." He began, "There is a large scale force on Akarui. There are slaves and free people in danger for their lives and The Outer Rim Coalition would like to compensate you for any help you can offer. We need weapons and medical gear shuttled to the front lines and civilians relocated to areas on world away from the fighting. Any help would be appreciated the hell out of. Miir out."

He fired his engines and brought his ship into an approach pattern. The first drop of small arms, munitions, and supplies was inbound. Then he would evac some folks away from fighting before he checked for orders. He just hoped his message reached enough people.

Dorrian was sitting in his ships cockpit as his co pilot an FEG Series Pilot Droid was checking diagnostics and was damn near finished but just then, a signal came in through his comm suite. "Huh....a message play it FEEGEE" "Of course Dorrian" Feegee hits the holo display and a red skinned twi'lek appears on the display and the following message comes through "There is a large scale force on Akarui. There are slaves and free people in danger for their lives and The Outer Rim Coalition would like to compensate you for any help you can offer. We need weapons and medical gear shuttled to the front lines and civilians relocated to areas on world away from the fighting. Any help would be appreciated the hell out of. Miir out."

Dorrian pondered this as the Twi'lek's message cuts out and checks his galaxy map, luckily he was extremely close to Akarui so he could get there rather quickly. His mind was made up, he was going to help. "Fee we'll continue the diagnostics later, prepair the ship for a jump we are heading to Akarui" The droid nods and starts to prepair the ship for a jump "Good desicion captain sounds like they need it." Infront of me the stars elongate as the ship jumps and arrives at Akarui. "Also make sure the guns are ready just in case we need them....." I say to the droid as I hover near planet orbit. "Attention TL-1800 that hailed us This is the Hyperion here to help Akarui out."

"Momma always said there would be days like these," Rayf muttered to himself in mild disbelief, before keying back into his frequency with [member="Cassia Graysong"], "That's an affirmative, Flame Actual. I hope those fancy birds of yours are loaded for cannonball."

Man, the Outer Rim is weird.

Commander Vigil was a son of the Core, and despite the many troubles that had plagued civilized space, already this was only in his top five strangest encounters during the brief time the Alliance-in-Exile had spent hiding in the Outback. Following Flame Squadron's lead, Rogue Leader eased his pilots in an arcing trajectory that would bring them on an intercept course with these fantastical alien vessels.

"Its your lead, Flame Squadron," he crooned into his comm unit. The pirates would be aware of them any moment, "Care to do the honors?"

Rayf knew Tellyrian ships well enough, but he didn't know much about the people who built them. Whether he was inviting their squadron leader to inform the pirates they were under arrest, a transmission which would almost certainly be met with violence, or to simply go in guns blazing he couldn't say. It was not his place to meddle with the local authorities, only back up their Coalition allies and accomplish his mission.

With so many unaccounted for during Galactic Alliance's retreat, most of his squadron was filled with replacements, but while he wasn't certain they would be adding any pages to the Rogue's storied legacy today, he knew each one could hold their own. And at least there was [member="Ava Cartwright"], his acting XO and in command of their second flight.

Two months earlier...

Gathered around were the military leaders of the Coalition and the newly risen Alliance in Exile. The briefing room was abnormally silent as the speaker went over terrain around the capital city. It must be said that, even though Kimiko had been well known throughout ORC, many had not known of others like her until now. The speaker's vivid purple fur over her tails and ears was definitely captivating.

"The Royal Guard have recently been amassing their forces along the edge of the main palace grounds." a grainy image of the capital from the air appeared before them,"Entrances lie here and here, with a secondary gate along this wall. We expect these paths to be heavily defended." red circles materialized as she spoke.

Nozomi bowed and quietly took her leave from the head of the presentation being replaced by Ki's own lead tactician, Chika, who happily fell into her old commander days and picked up the information flow without pause.

"Kimiko, assisted by the militias and allied forces, will converge and begin a feigning attack here..."

Kimiko herself quickly found herself lost in thought. The ideas of the upcoming battle rapidly overwhelming all of her thoughts. Most of what these thoughts centered around the inevitable square-off against Ceres. It was terrifying...

-------Present------

Location: Just outside the main gates of the palace
Objective: Allow the main force to continue pushing, while secretly withdrawing for phase 2

The opening phase of the assault on the city had been hard, but successful. The ORC forces had gained positive ground and the Loyalist lines were barely holding. It was all going better than planned.

Kimiko had been in the midst of it all, fighting alongside her kin and friends from ORC. But now it was time to begin the next phase of the operation.

Their plan was simple, and if pulled off correctly, could expose a huge flaw in the defense of the Royal Citadel.

The main force had assaulted the two main entrances to the grounds, and drawing the majority of the guard to their location. This, theoretically, would leave the smaller gate on the far-side of the palace with a weaker garrison.

A brilliant viridian blade came down at an angle against an unfortunate guardsman, sending him sprawling to the ground missing half his torso. The blade's owner took a second to catch her breath and bumped against another being. It startled her and she spun to quickly engage. Thankfully, she was halted by a very familiar orange hued blade,"Dax!" she exclaimed and quickly moved to embrace the man. Taking a moment for them in the chaos that surrounded as Judges, allies, and others seemed to fend off the opposing forces.

They didn't have long to spend in this state. The window to exploit their advantage was beginning to close. She took his hand and pulled on him to follow her.

Kimiko quickly sent out the signal to the hand-picked party to begin disengaging and heading to the RV with the Cyaron.

The young Nautolan was lost to the music.

Energy and motion given form, the child's body moved with both rhythm and purpose. A hair of headphones entangling his head-tails, as the boy's lekku whipped wildly about his head. The stubby tendrils seemed almost alive unto themselves, undulating like a coral bloom in the ocean.

The child's feet shuffled in and out, supporting the motion of the pop-and-lock style of dance that he exhibited. Maybe no one was watching. Maybe all eyes were on him. It was all the same to the young Nautolan.

After all, music was art. Dance was expression. They were not meant to be silent.

It was an experience.

The child was dancing atop the support frame for a skyhook, beneath which air speeders and cargo trams were passing underneath. The Underground had information that the Loyalist Army was going to be supplying something to the pirates that had been funding them, or something. Whatever it was, it was probably bad. Blood money. Blood diamonds. Who knew?

Ordinarily, one of the actual Judges would be taking care of this sort of thing. Except they were all busy fighting pirates or the Loyalist Army or running from [member="Rekha Kaarde"] when she tried to collect on their bar tabs. So Zak figured it was something he could take care for the Coalition. Or for great justice. Or for pony. To be honest, he forgot which it was now.

As the boy danced with his heels just centimeters from the edge of nothing, his abyssal eyes took in the seemingly endless horizon that stretched out before him. A symphony of clouds. The orchestra supplied by the HoloBoy Advanced tucked into his pocket, pumping sick beats into the headphones that was wrapped among his head-tails.

A cargo sled was running down the center of the traffic lane formed there in the sky.

Falling backwards, the youngling surrendered himself to the Force as he started free falling back toward the planet far below.

It was strange. As the child felt himself clothed in the light of the Force, he was reminded of a different time, a different place. A different him. Carried in the arms of a man with golden skin, feeling as though he would never feel that safe again.

Someone he'd never met.

Extending one hand up above his head, the boy sent a featherpush out from his palm. The energy radiated outward, dispelling the kinetic force with which he would have struck the top of the cargo tram. Instead, the youngling rolled with the impact. It was something that someone had taught him. A woman. A noble. She had brown hair.

Except she'd never taught him. She had taught Zak Dymo. The memories that he had were poor reflections in a mirror.

As the boy put his leg out to stop the momentum of the roll, he began sliding along the top of the cargo sled. Sticking a hand out, the youngling moved to grab the hard point at the edge of the cargo container.

He missed.

Shooting right off the back of the glorified semi-trailer in the sky, the Nautolan frowned as he found himself free falling a second time.

Totally not what he intended to do.

Tucking into the roll to the right, the child spiraled out of the way of an air speeder. He was basically falling through the middle of a busy intersection. Controlling the spin, the boy tucked into a fetal position and took a deep breath...

...the child rocketed straight through an open canopy, landing in the back seat of an air speeder.

The Aqualish business man behind the wheel had been enjoying a double no soy white mocha frappe. As the child dive-bombed his backseat, the frappe went airborne. Cursing, the Aqualish struggled at the wheel. First to get control of the speeder and second to try and veer back into his lane.

Popping up over the back of the passenger seat, the young Nautolan chirped, "Sup, brah!" Reaching up a hand, the boy smoothed his head-tails back, as he peered out of the windshield and pointed upward. "Uh... do you mind following that cargo tram?"

See? Totally according to plan. He'd meant to do that. He totally knew what he was doing.

Said no Zak ever.

The Jedi Master almost didn't make the trip. After D'Qar, it seemed for the most part that the Alliance in Exile would be kept pretty busy. As they took the fight to their enemies. Skirmishes and raiding apart of a routine for them. Kahne had seen more combat in the last months than he did in the previous years before Lothal ever took place. In truth, Kahne welcomed the open battlefield more than anything. While diplomacy at times had it's uses, his true strength laid here, fighting against the forces of darkness. And while there were no sith present, there was always some sort of force that always represented the darkness.

The Jedi donned in his vanguard armor that he had began to wear quite regularly as their contact with the darkside increased, and engagements became ever more prompting. Smoke rose to the north as the Loyalist army was their primary enemy today, but Kahne would soon look to get past them somehow and free what prisoners they had in their midst. First the attack would come and thus the battle began. Kahne couldn't help but sneak in a chuckle and remark towards Coren and Cambria.

"You could've woke me up at least." Kahne smirked as he held his lightsaber in hand, and the blue blade came to life.

When [member="Kahne Porte"] joined [member="Coren Starchaser"] and herself with the ORC leader, a small smirk rose at the corners of her naturally berry-colored lips.

"My apologies, Master Porte. I did not have the heart to wake you when it looked like you were having such a nice dream... They are hard to come by nowadays. We all need some form of hope to help us fight the good fight, hmm," the blue-hued Jedi Knight said with a thoughtful twitch of her lekku.

A nod was given to [member="Dax Fyre"] as she was staying, then the Rutian Twi'lek called her lightsaber to her right hand and ignited the cerulean blue blade with a snap hiss. The hum of the Jedi's weapon was a comforting sound over the engines of the fighters roaring overhead as they advanced in their forward assault on the capital city of Akarui.

Cambria moved with the others over the distance swiftly dropping into Shien, then began deflecting the blaster fire coming at them and redirecting with well practiced ease back at the enemy much to their surprise. Taking life was not an easy thing to do, but the Jedi Guardian would do what she must and do so sparingly as much as possible opting to disable their means rather than kill in battle.

"T-account, cover me: I'm going in"

"Copy, Alchemist Actual"

The main rebel force was holding steady in their assault of the capital, securing each street in a fierce firefight. Janick would simply strafe the turrets around one of the palace's entrances so that the main force would be facing much less resistance, with T-account for backup at a higher altitude if she missed her volley fired at the weapon emplacements next to the gate. Meanwhile, T-account was at a higher altitude, watching out for signs of airborne reinforcements, especially the airborne ones, as Janick was firing at the weapon turrets on the palatial compound's main gate. Just that, with most of the enemy airpower tied up in orbit, there was little hope for the Loyalists to regain local air superiority; taking down anti-aircraft was rather easy for everyone else since the quad-lasers were busy firing at ORC and rebel ground forces. They are clumsy as they are stupid, she thought, while Griet, Wololo et al were taking care of the outer perimeter's weapons emplacements, making the rebels' lives easier with each emplacement being totaled. Yet, with one gate's emplacements down, she had to make for the other gate that is part of the main force.

The Reaper of Won Shasot
The orange blades created sweeping arcs of light as Dax's defensive screen deflected the small arms fire that came careening towards them. From behind him, blaster's echoed as they fired back at the awaiting enemy lines, soldiers falling here and there, struck by bolts of light. Just as the two lines were about to crash, Dax leapt into the air, assisted by the Force, and fell upon the soldiers, four or fives lines behind the front, the unexpected attack allowing the man to take several down before they had the chance to react. The soldier's jostled each other as they tried to make enough room to attack the Rogue, but Dax had other ideas. He turned in the direction of the bulk of the fighting and unleashed a kinetic wave, punching a small two or three person hole in the line as the solders were pushed down or to the side. "Coren! Push to the Citadel!" he called as his saber slashed down through a man's chest. The Rogue cleaved single mindedly through the lines, screams and bodies left on the ground behind him.

The Rogue's goal wasn't the walls, not exactly. The throne. That was the goal. If Ki could reclaim the throne from her sister, the Loyalist Army might stand down, and the blood shed could be kept to a minimum. That was the hope at least. In the mean time, Ki had hoped a forward assault would, by the very least, reduce the hostile presence defending the citadel itself, and give them the opening they needed to make it inside.

The Rogue spotted the signature white-hair of his lover, and the bright green blade she'd only recently crafted. He bee-lined towards her, his sabers cutting through flesh and bone. One of the guards tried to lunge at the Rogue with a spear, to which Dax stepped to the side, spinning past him. Dax flipped his saber into a reverse grip and stabbed it behind himself and into the back of the Loyalist. The body hit the ground with a thud. The Rogue pushed forward once more, hoping [member="Coren Starchaser"] and the others were able to keep up. Heh, who was he kidding, they were Jedi, they'd be fine. Once more body fell at Dax's feet before a smaller body bumped into him, the woman quickly spinning around to take a slash at him. The Rogue's own blade raised to block the viridian blade. "Dax!" the woman hugged him, even in the midst of battle. Dax's own sabers deactivated as he wrapped his arms around his love and kissed the top of her head. The moment didn't last long as [member="Kimiko"] quickly pulled away and started to drag him in the direction of their objective. "Coren, you're with us." he said as he began to follow the Fox, "We'll need you for this. Have your men help clear the city and make sure the army doesn't retreat to the Citadel!"

Halzyn and his men heard the creak of the tree and the screams of men being crushed before they saw the ambush force. Looks like the Loyalists had the same idea. A couple of the Judges began to fire at the Loyalist soldiers, diving in with their sabers soon after as the smugglers and soldiers of the ORC and AiE forces fired into them. Halzyn took a knee as he shouldered his rifle and fired at those nearest the treeline. Those among the Loyalist who had blasters fired back while the rest began to charge. This was gonna become one hell of a melee real fast. The Soldier kept firing into the charging soldiers when, by sheer chance, he spotted an ORC hiding in the treeline. It was [member="Gib"] . "Check your fire! We got friendly behind the lines!" he called as another soldier dropped before him.

"Look, I don't like the Loyalists either."

Frak was an actuary. Zak had no idea what that was, but the Aqualish wore a suit and listened to the most vanilla synthpop in nine galaxies. In between trying to clean the double no soy white mocha frappe from off the off-the-rack suit that he'd had tailored at Duros Wearhouse, the Aqualish was expressing his discontent with the fact that some pint-sized Gavroche had just dropped the rebellion into his back seat. "But there's nothing I can do about that."

The small Nautolan hopped up from the back into the passenger seat. First thing first, Zak had to do something about the radio.

#priorities

Rotating the frequency, the boy eventually stumbled on a channel that was at least pumping out some passable deep house. Bopping along for a moment, the child grooved right with the beat. His hands articulated a dance of their own in mid-air, before the boy went left and at last turned his attention to the Aqualish wearing the Starbucks cologne. "There's lots you can do," the child opined brightly.

"What can I do? I'm an actuary!"

The child was rotating his arms, casually rolling his shoulders in time to the music. Tossing his head back, the boy just quipped, "Brah, I'm a youngling."

It was a moment for the Aqualish to think of how, even, to respond to that.

"Well... well, shouldn't you be in school?"

A slow, cheesy grin spread across the Nautolan's face. "Probably," he remarked, before craning his head back so that he could look up at the cargo tram that was flying in the commercial travel lane above them.

"So what's in the cargo sled?"

"Don't know," Zak answered simply, which seemed to take Frak by surprise. Unhooking his seat belt, the Nautolan rose up in his seat, so that he was hanging partially out of the passenger side of the speeder. Glancing back at the Aqualish, the boy added, "But if the Loyalists are shipping it to, like, their friends or whatever, it can't be good for us."

Turning his attention back to the cargo speeder, the child reached across and unclipped the lightsaber he carried. Adjusting his grip on the curved hilt, the boy rotated his wrist and seemed to be testing the balance in the hilt. Finally, he asked, "Can you hold it steady?"

"Why? What are you..?"

Frak was cut off by the sound of the lightsaber igniting. A brilliant white light flashed, like a flare going up, as the boy hooked the lightsaber up into the air with a surprising amount of force. The blade grazed the undercarriage of the cargo sled, sending off a series of sparks, before the cargo speeder began listing on a downward trajectory.

"There," Zak affirmed with a self-satisfied nod, as Riptide smacked back into his palm.

Then he fumbled it.

Awkwardly, the child grasped at the air, while the lightsaber hilt bounced back and forth between his palms. Finally, the boy lunged forward in a successful grab that would have caused to fall out of the speeder were it not for Frak grabbing the child by the back of his belt and hauling him back into the passenger seat. "That should make things simpler," Zak opined, nonplussed by the near fall, as his abyssal eyes watched the cargo sled making its emergency landing.

"You can just drop me off down there."

2) Free the enslaved Kitsune and get them to safety, Loyalist forces have been given permission to kill on sight
Post 1
Equipment - same old same old, woebringer, old DL 44, and few grenades and she was ready for trudging along.

She would have taken the flying mission it was her speciality but when the data came across about the enslaved Kitsune she knew she couldn't go on the flying mission. She needed to be on the ground. She had this soft spot for people being held against their will having been one herself for a time she had vowed once she was free she would give everything she had to free others.

So here she was with a the defender class light corvette. It had lots of space that' she would need. Right now the strike team she was bringing with her was in the conference room going over the plan. She was getting them to ground as close as she could which turned out not to be that close at all. Loyalists had orders to shoot them all on site. Oh joy once more people would be shooting at them. She smiled someone would figure it out eventually that she took it as a dare when someone began shooting at her. A dare to survive or come and get them.

"Ok boys and girls, let's get ready I'm taking us down" Down through the atmosphere and burst through take on whatever ground to air attack they had and then land, secure and go play tag with the loyalists.

The cargo speeder was tipped to one side.

It's front end was partially buried in the earth, having dug itself in and spun around when it had made the landing. Smoke billowed out from the undercarriage. The cabin of the freight hauler burst open on either side, as two burly figures escaped the smoke. Stumbling from out of the cab, the two Loyalists were catching their breath and getting their bearings as the shadow of the air speeder passed overhead.

Reaching back, both figures grabbed their blasters. Snub-nosed, uzi-like repeating blasters that were illegal in most parts of the galaxy. Though, violating interstellar gun laws was probably toward the bottom of the list of what all crimes these two were wrapped up in.

As the first looked up, a Nautolan landed on the dude's face, as Zak hopped down from the air speeder. Thirty kilos of youngling pile driving straight down, taking the man to the ground as the boy neatly flipped through the air.

His partner got two shots off. The first veered wild. The second was deflected away by the brilliant white blade that spun in the child's hand. Step through and pivot, the motion feeding a sweep of Riptide that knocked the blaster away. Dropping his weight, the youngling brought it back with low strike that skimmed parallel to the ground.

Riptide used a discharge energy cell. By default, the weapon used a non-lethal power setting, but it packed an incredible punch when it connected with something. Effortlessly, the boy took the feet out from under the Loyalist. The man went horizontal in mid-air, before having the wind knocked out of him as he was laid out in the dirt.

Holding the white blade in the ubiquitous Jedi Ready stance, the young Nautolan surveyed the area around the cargo sled. The two Loyalists were both rolling around and groaning, but neither seemed like he was going to be making a move any time soon.

Frak was parking the air speeder, scrambling from out of speeder as the business man seemed taken aback by the two goons that had just been laid out by a grade school kid who really didn't look like all that much.

Shutting down the lightsaber, Zak returned Riptide to his belt before bending down to retrieve one of the SE-14r blasters. Looking over the weapon for a moment, the youngling found the charging bolt and racked it back to prime the weapon. Leveling the weapon at the back of the cargo module, the boy squeezed the trigger and felt the recoil as three bolts erupted from out of the snub-nosed blaster with the gentle pull.

The shots arced upward with the recoil, but the second shot nailed the lock. As the sparks faded, the boy looped the retaining strap of the blaster over his head and across his body as he made his way up to the cargo container. Pushing up on the retaining pin, the child moved the door locking mechanism. Pushing and pulling the locking pins until, finally, the child was able to throw open the cargo doors.

As light poured inside, the Nautolan's eyes grew even wider than normal.

Staggering backward, the boy uttered "Oh chit."

"Zak, you should never swear," Frak said, admonishing the boy. Making his way over, the Aqualish gingerly stepped over the fallen goon as he made his way into view of the cargo container. "It shows a lack of intel...li...gence..."

As the Aqualish followed the child's awe-struck gaze, the man found himself staring into a cargo container that was full of Kitsune.

Kitsune younglings.

"Oh chit," Frak uttered, as realization dawned.

Vaudin checked his sensors as he prepared for his next run to the orbiting Cargo cruiser. His hands moved over his controls quickly as he adjusted his settings. It was a lot easier with a co-pilot, but he had learned to manage that a long long time ago. He received a transmission from an unknown ship, with a familiar model signature and felt a little relief that his message had gotten out.

"This is the TL-1800 Swarthy Bantha to the Hyperion. Rendezvous at the orbiting cargo hauler to grab supplies and shuttle them dirt side." He said as he adjusted his flight path, "I'm in route."

Yula, in fact, did not wait when the guard demanded for her to do so. Instead of going back for her fallen tail, the Zeltron mixed booked it down the corridor, zigging and zagging through the narrow stone halls. It was relatively dark save for a lantern every now and then, but the guard with his familiarity of the area was gaining on her.

“Stop!” He bellowed, reaching out to grab the fleeing intruder, only to grasp at the literal tail end of her…sock tails. In accordance with trope law, the guard yanked at the fake appendages which tore her entire disguise off to reveal that she was no more than a pink tinted humanoid.

He gawked for a moment, probably not sure what he expected before reaching for the young woman’s arm. “You’re coming with me!”

“Oh uh,” Yula side-stepped him quickly, hand at her belt where a plain saber hilt rested. “No thank you?” Being captured sucked, she’d like to avoid it if at all possible.

With a frustrated growl, the guard lunged at her, brandishing his spear. “Ope,” Yula ducked to the side again quickly as the two began a brief dance in the cramped corridor which ended with the guard slumped against the wall, knocked out from a well-meaning kick to the head.

Continuing on her way towards the servant’s quarters, the muffled sounds of struggle coming from somewhere else in the palace reached her ears. Hopefully the rebel assault was going well and not the other way around.

Cato launched with a squadron of his fighters as the assault ships they had come from continued towards the planet. The pirates they were going to help deal with were supposedly a hard match, but if the friendly squadrons were anything to go by, it would hopefully be a bit easier than expected.

"This is Phoenix actual, we're on your six. Ready to engage on your mark."

Activating the targeting system, a display came across Cato's viewport. Multiple targets were swiftly marked, and the squadron began moving in their direction. The pirates' ships were noticeably unique, perhaps something he would like to get his hands on. But first they would need to defeat them in battle.

Looking over the friendly ships, Cato thought he recognized some of them from a previous sighting. They were a beauty to see, and he would be glad to see them in action alongside his squadron.

T-account flew to the other main gate of the palace, while the enemy was so busy dealing with the rebels in the streets below. In the confusion of the battle, it appears the enemy was focusing the anti-aircraft fire on the ground-side rebels, realizing that the few surviving emplacements were getting surrounded and that they had virtually no hope of survival. This time around T-account was the one firing at the weapons emplacements near that big gate remaining, and poof they go. Meanwhile, Griet and the others were only taking stray blaster hits to their respective craft because it seemed that the loyalists were very focused on the ground; Janick also took a stray blaster hit to her craft. Once the turrets are destroyed, the palace defenders began to give chase to the rebels in the nearby streets since they no longer feel safe within the confines of the palace; they feel the palace must be evacuated for the safety of it occupants. But the Loyalists would find their escape routes difficult to navigate, and also likely to run into more rebels as they attempt to flee their royal palace.

More squadrons formed up as the call went out that the pirates had turned up.

[ Rogue Leader, Flame Actual, this is Rogue Five... That's affirmative on those bogies. Looks like we found our pirates literally. ]

Rayf Vigil said:
"Its your lead, Flame Squadron," he crooned into his comm unit. The pirates would be aware of them any moment, "Care to do the honors?"

Cato Marek said:
"This is Phoenix actual, we're on your six. Ready to engage on your mark."

"Looks like we have a party, let's get it started." Cassia replied over the Alliance/Coalition frequencies. Then she switched over to an all band broadcast and put on her sweetest smile and voice. "Coalition-Alliance task force to unidentified ships..." She only barely kept herself from calling them scurvy dogs. "Heave to for scans and be ready to provide identification." She couldn't resist the heave to.

She could hear some chuckles over the Flame channel, but she paid it no mind for the moment. The ships hadn't responded yet, but they were changing their arc, moving to present their broadsides to the fighters as they closed. She switched back to the Coalition channel.

"Rogue Leader, you were kidding about cannonballs, right?"

"Ma'am, I've got more bogeys on the screen, peeking around the other side of the moon. Looks like the...pirates...are screening their approach."

"Rogue Squadron, Phoenix Squadron. Anyone got eyes on the formation behind these scurvy dogs?" One can only resist for so long before it became futile. "It looks like more are coming up behind them but we're not positioned to see."

On the ground they piled out of the ship quick glances all around the team quickly split up into smaller units and moved out. Rekha took point of a three man team. It was a series of running and hiding so far no loyalists had taken a pot shot at them. Maybe they were busy elsewhere, or they were luring them in.

Rekha stopped short looking around it just felt off, wrong too easy. She looked at Sgt Xavier and Corp Hudson, "I'm going to move ahead, you follow when you see the openings"

Rekha decided she was ready to find out what the feth was happening. She stood up set her shoulders and did that confident strut as she headed towards the palace the last known location where the slaves were. She could now begin to see the loyalists placed sporadically about. Truth was they didn't know where the assault would come so they were compensating which left big holes in their patrols.

Rekha didn't look back but she could now see two loyalists headed her way. Cat was getting ready to be out of the bag. She took a breath I can do this , "Hello boys what's sup?" She smiled broadly as she mentally reminded herself wait for them to make the move.
