Officially Official Rebellion of Mimban

Perhaps it's due to the fact that I refuse to be caught up in OOC Drama, or allow it to conflict with my enjoyment of Rp that I ( a ) don't understand how so many reports have been made and ( b ) agree with both [member="Reshmar"] and [member="Caius Flavian"] that we continue.

I get that some people can get frustrated but this Rebellion did nothing but excite me before I went away IRL. Coming back, it's clearly slowed in pace but I still would like to pursue it, if not just to finish the thread and see the end-game outcome.

I'm sure not going to call it quits in the face of OOC drama. I don't care for it, and I don't participate in it. I spent some time a few days ago slapping down people on our side freaking out, and will continue to do so based on need, but I've got good writing going on and I'll be continuing it as long as my writing partners do.

Upvote on that; I'm tired of having story lines with no endings because of this stuff.

It's these sort of responses that allow me to stay positive, along with both a great sense of pride in RP and stubbornness to let nothing ruin such a good thrilling place like Chaos, for me. :D

Ignorance is bliss, I suppose. It seems to be working wonders for me anyway; life of the party over in this corner.

More people need to have this attitude, I'm afraid.

I am not receiving your tags in the IC thread for some reason, so I think you should probably drop a note in here whenever you post.
Make response times much quicker, on my end.

[member="Miss Blonde"] Personally, I don't see any reason for this to end this now. The Rebellion has only been going on for a week, I haven't even got to have my fun in thread yet! Looking at the responses from my folks, I'm going to say that the GR will be continuing with this Rebellion. Maybe in two or three weeks from now, we can look into the state of the Rebellion and see where we're at then. I'm fine taking this all the way to the sixty day mark too. I will always be open to accepting surrender from the Syndicate at any point, however.

Now, on the OOC front, let's see if we can't turn this ship around and keep it civil from now on? While a few of us came into this event with some OOC tension, hopefully we can leave this one being cool with each other.

A lot of the members involved in our side can not stomach the thought of another week of fighting you guys. Your side has thrown report after report at us most of the time without even sending a PM to work things out between writers before sending a report off to staff. Members on your side have accused people of victim shaming, have blown IC actions out of proportion, and a slew of other things. Now I'm not saying that we're innocent as baby lambs in all this, but with the amount of shade being thrown its best to just call it and end it within the very near future. I'd personally say give it a week at the most, but in my opinion and what members are telling me, it's best to end it soon.

Maybe it's partly because there are no rules, it's a free for all, the wild west, so people do whatever they want, plausible or not, and think that they can get away with it? Just a guess.

I like the whole idea of working with writers as partners and coordinating, even opponents. Works far better, leaves less bickering. There can still be surprises of course, but it certainly helps. You and I have done that well in what little threads that we've had together, [member="Miss Blonde"] :)

I am surprised by no pms, as it stanard courtesy to give your opponent.

Though I do like the idea of your surrender, I like it when you surrender. ;)

I'm going to take a stab in the dark here and guess that the problem with them surrendering is that it would make no sense In-Character for the invading force to suddenly give up when, from their perspective, what's discouraged them from continuing this Rebellion, hasn't been In-Character, but rather the OOC conduct behind it all. Naturally I could be wrong here however...

Regardless, it's all rather disappointing...

It would not make sense IC for any of the factions who attacked to suddenly surrender, especially if they aren't legitimately losing.

Also, pretty sure [member="Tefka"] said to take the argumentative ooc bit to PMs, dolls. Don't want to get the Wrath of God called down over something so small.
