Once more why dont we? (Vulpesen)

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
Alexandra nodded back to the wolf and took out a three d holographic interface and projector. resting the datapad on the ground after moving a little bit away from Vulpesen so not to disturb him she connected it to the projector and stepped back to watch the thing do its work, a life size hologram coming up. "Resistance, project 092 please." The Hologram, a VI that she used, pulled up and was replaced with that of a life size droid that Alexandra began to pull apart as if it were actually there. "Hmm... lets see, where was I..." She got to work while her friend slept, the reason she hadn't just left solely to make sure no one snuck up on her friend.

For a moment, Ace studied the hologram before finally sending a message into Vulpesen's mind. After a large stretch, the jedi yawned and blinked his eyes a few times before his gaze settled on Alex. "Mornin... kinda. How long was I out?" As he spoke, Vulpesen adjusted his robes to get a more comfortable sitting position, something more fit for conversation and movement than sleeping.

She looked up from her work, hair pulled up now and lookign through what would be the ribcage of the droid to look at Vulpesen as he spoke, a smile on her face at seeing her friend awake. "Oh, hi there, not much longer than i was, though its about the middle of the night so quite a while for the both of us..." She moved her hands onto the holographic droid and pulled the arm from its torso, analysing the joint used and the way it had been linked to the droid while she spoke. "Sleep well fox face?"

He nodded and looked up to the hologram. "I've slept far worse, so I guess that was on the list of good naps." He lifted a hand to point at the hologram. "So, whats that?" He'd seen droid designs before, but he was by no means a technological genius. As such, his specialty was taking droids apart, and often with means that kept them from being put back together.

"A Krath war droid, used for shock trooper like assaults and quick insertion strikes, also useful for their humanoid appearance that allows for them to be able to infiltrate crowds and strike from no where, or atleast seemingly so..." She pushed the droid off the projector leaving only the arm as she rotated it and began to seemingly pull it apart. "Hmm... i wonder how they fared against jedi in their own time... probably a useful droid in war as it could quickly disable soldiers with minimul effort but would it still work today..." She seemed to be talking to herself now, a spark in her eye as she tore the thing apart on the projector and looked at it from every angle she could, finally looking up at Vulp again. "Thank you by the way. For everything."

He watched her, his eyes scanning over the pieces. While there was no way he could understand them, he was always prepared to fight them. It wouldn't be his first run in with ancient droids and as such, he quickly picked out pieces that looked important to the design. Places it would be beneficial for a combatant to hack apart. As she said her thanks, Vulpesen rose an eyebrow and returned his attention to his more humanistic companion. "And what exactly is everything?" This wasn't arrogance. This wasn't asking something he already knew. He was truly curious as to what she was asking him.

"Simply being the closest friend that ive had, and holding no benefit to that behind your actions, atleast none to my knowledge..." She looked up from her work, her eyes and words sincere as she stood there with a smile on her face and watched him for a few seconds before continuing. "... you have shown no need to use me for my power, or for my skills. You have not force me to see you as more nor see you as a person to kneel to. You've had no alternative reasons that would benefit you and you are there for when i just say hi, even though our first meeting wasn't exactly as allies. But i must say that i am still grateful for how things are as they are. That is why i thank you for all that you might have caused or might not have caused, that is why you are my closest friend... and just because im saying this doesn't mean you can suddenly change Fox face, because if you do ill kick your ass."

"Understood. Though, you shouldn't jump the gun if I appear to change. You'll find that while adaptable, I don't stray far from those few things I hold as the truth." He grinned and leaned forward, looking at the schematics. Everything about it went way over his head, and honestly, the jedi had no idea what to make of it. For him, they were nonsense, numbers and big meaningless words. "Maybe someday I'll learn to work on these mechanics and things. Today doesn't seem to be that day."

"Stop talking and enjoy the sunrise you fool, after all you don't get to sit and watch one with a girl beside you much, that isn't your master mind you." She grinned at him as she teased and watched the sun as it did indeed start to rise, her hand shutting off the device and stowing it in her cloak. "Plus, im sure Ace would love for you and him for once to both be silent while the latter tries to sleep seeing as he kept me company the night before."

He let out a small laugh and leaned back. "Alright alright. Though watching the sunset with a girl certainly is different from watching it with a lady." He gave her a grin as he rested, watching her reaction to the jibe. "Besides, Master Apparine was never the sunset type." As he thought of her mention of Ace, he became aware of his companion had leaped over to his robes to curl up. No doubt the ashlan was about to get some sleep for himself.

"Now now mister, i can what did i not just say five minutes ago." Her eyes shifted to look at him with a raised brow and her hand raising to flick him in the side of the head while they sat there. If he was going to be a smart as he was going to get it sooner or later and she was going to make sure he had a headache at the end of this. "Stop being an ass and just watch the sunset, ok Fox face." She rolled her eyes, sometimes he irritated her but she did like having him around.
