Once more why dont we? (Vulpesen)

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
Alexandra nodded as he said that and spoke herself. "Theres something we have in common, far too many friends in the Jedi Order, such a severe hindrance at times, and certainly something that is not at all what is to be expected of someone with potentially dark sided roots that manifest themselves through combat. [member="Vulpesen"]

Vulpesen nodded to her words. "That may be so, but such friends can often lead to great success as well." As Alexandra spoke about the fighting with the dark side, he looked back up. "And which one of us are we talking about now?" He had a feeling that it was her self, but there was always the chance that she had witnessed him in one of his harder battles. [member="Alexandra Cinthra"]

She looked directly at him now, the golden flecks in her pupil clear as day. "I may be walking a thing line Vulpesen, just a warning for the future. Its hilarious really, the Sith succeeded in doing the one thing they wanted to do, another dark side using, emotion controlled user of the force. But they did fail in control and what emotions i let fill my actions, and they failed to make me someone im not. Now comes the question, why did you think i meant you?"

(( And YES, you did the one thing i keep almost doing, the /me at the beginning of your post. [member="Vulpesen"]

Vulpesen listened carefully to her words. "Strange. Alex it seems that every time we meet, something new about you gets revealed." He let out a sigh on her following question. "Remember, my mother was a sith remember? Zarro taught me to fight for others, but that passion has to show up somewhere. When placed in difficult places, I tend to show a side of myself that I do rather keep hidden."

(Whatchu talkin about? [member="Alexandra Cinthra"]?)

"I see, i have a question then. After these moments have you ever passed out and then don't remember anything from that moment. Don't ask me why im curious as to such a specific thing but its important to me if you answer it truthfully." She crossed her hands and they fidgeted as she talked, a nervous habit shining through at the topic. She wondered if everyone passed out like she did when emotions overwhelmed her, her memory being lost of that time. [member="Vulpesen"]

Vulpesen shook his head. "I have always remembered. However, I did pass out the first time it happened to me as a jedi, but that was due to the stress I was under. During that time I was on the verge of death, a picture from hell itself." He sighed as he remembered those times. "If such things are happening, then malevolent forces are likely at work and must therefor be found and treated lest they destroy who you are." [member="Alexandra Cinthra"]

"Its just random times that i lose memory, nothing to important and im always fine when i come back to consciousness. I assume its me passing out in those moments as thats normally how i find myself, on the ground or in a medical tent." She leaned back and looked up at the sky for a moment and watched as the clouds rolled over head, her smile on her face as she sat there. [member="Vulpesen"]

Vulpesen shrugged. "I've yet to see that happen. Then again, I can't really recall a time we've actually fought at each other's side." He continued to watch the clouds with her, petting Ace as the ashlan wolf curled under his hand. "Sometimes it seems like this galaxy is falling apart. Its goo to see that we get these moments of clarity in which we can have a bit of stability."

She blinked at [member="Vulpesen"] and seemed utterly confused, though by what she did not clarify as she remained in that state for several long seconds before speaking to him. "W-were you being philosophical right there, you better not be turning soft and becoming a boring old Jedi master on me, else wise i will have to end this little thing. Dont need you turning zealous too mid conversation there fox face." She grinned wide at him and even seemed prepared to run if he got up, though that was highly unlikely to happen so it was barely noticeable.

Vulpesen let out a small laugh. "Happens occasionally. Besides, its more of an observation that sometimes, its good to relax." He turned his head to look at her. "No matter what order you're a part of, that simple fact should always be true. Jedi or not, I do need the occasional rest ya know." He turned to look back up at the clouds as he relaxed. [member="Alexandra Cinthra"]

She grinned and laughed at something though she didn't make what it was that was funny clear until a handful of minutes afterwards. "Well, good to know that Jedi are as lazy as the rest of us, no wonder so many of you carry around canes or are taking on a bit of weight. I mean, i dont know how you and Ace both fit into that robe together sometimes, right Ace?" She said to the wolf that she had referenced, though she didn't look at it exactly. [member="Vulpesen"]

Vulpesen looked at Ace who puffed at [member="Alexandra Cinthra"], curling up on his bond mate. "He does understand every word ya know." He let out a small laugh. A lot of his friends assumed that because of his small size and dog like appearance, Ace was a non-sentient. It was quite funny to then discuss with the little blue companion about how wrong they were. "Besides, your the one whos settling down, teaching kids, and growing a baby in her belly." He pointed at her stomache to prove his point."Besides, when I'm not relaxing, I'm hunting artifacts and chasing down sith."

She laughed and nodded at the comment, before smiling at Ace again. "Oh, i know he understands me, and im sure he would be interesting to converse with at other times... you never did explain what a bond mate is. Or well, i never asked but i am asking now, so what exactly is a bond mate like Ace here, and how did such a thing occur?" [member="Vulpesen"]

Vulpesen looked down to Ace who returned the look and a thought. "Not only is she you're friend, you're also the only one of us who speaks basics." He returned with a small growl in return before speaking back for [member="Alexandra Cinthra"] to hear. "Your culture. You were raised for this can't you.. you know, draw something?" The words held a listless tone as they were spoken through mouth and mind. However, it would be obvious that there was nothing wrong with him. "No, you're the human, you speak to humans. When another one of my kind asks about you, I'll happily translate."

Vulpesen let out a small growl but gave in before looking at Alexandra and thinking for several moments. "Well, it starts around the time we meet, though for some it takes time. Essentially, Ashlan's in the wild bond with Ysalimiri to stay safe from vornskyr. The bonding process makes them able to communicate with their bond mate no matter the species. At this point, the Ashlans will just speak through mental messages and now I can hear Aces thoughts from just about anywhere as long as we're on the same planet. Basically, we're bonded for life, or until I die since ace is..." He looked over to the ashlan. "Twenty" He looked back up at her. "Twenty which means that he probably has over four hundred fifty years to go."

She nodded and thought over what she heard and tapped her hand as she took in the information before smiling and laughing at him. "Well, he makes our lives seem like sparks, four hundred years too go and all that time to explore and study the world, such a thing would be interesting indeed though i am curious as to how things will turn out when the bond is broken by one of the two's... expiration." [member="Vulpesen"]

Ace shook his head and looked up at Vulpesen before sending a message to his bond mate. After several moments of silent discussion, Vulpesen turned back to [member="Alexandra Cinthra"]. "He says that Ashlans see it as a time of great sadness and prefer not to talk about it simply because of how sad it gets them. However, its likely that they will then bond with the next member of the family line."

She nods and thinks that over as she sat there, connect so closely she was sure sadness was not the only thing such a bond would share, but she respected the pain a loss delivers and breathed in before smiling and speaking. "Well, then lets hope that such a thing does not happen for a very, very long time. Best not to let something such as that come to light." [member="Vulpesen"]

Vulpesen nodded and petted Ace as the wolf curled up on his leg. "Agreed. Besides, I've heard Ace's howls and despite his small size, I'm pretty sure his mourning could wake the entire temple if you set him in the right place." Ace's fur bristled at the suggestion but soon calmed down as Vulpesen soothed him with the stroke of his hand. [member="Alexandra Cinthra"]

She smiled at the wolf again and nodded to him with a bit of a bow to her head out of respect for the creature. "I am glad you allowed me to learn of your bond and i am sorry if i brought up anything to touchy to truly discuss. None the less my gratitude to you is sincere as knowledge is one thing i treasure and learning about your people's bond is something that i am happy you allowed me to understand." [member="Vulpesen"]

Ace returned the bow and Vulpesen smiled at the pair of them. After a moment, Ace turned to Vulpesen and gave him a curious look. It wasn't a look of curiousity, know the look itself seemed quite strange. It was a listless stare and after a moment, Vulpesen turned to Alex, emitting a small growl, a few random words in other languages, then finally speaking basic. "You are quite welcome, though there was nothing very disconcerting so much as sad. We simply do not speak of death of a bond mate for the reasons that your kind will likely avoid talking about the death of a sibling... granted you likely are not aware that there are very few ways for your sibling to somehow outlive you." As Ace finished using his mouth, Vulpesen gave him a fairly shocked look. "When did you learn to do that?" In response, the Ashlan shrugged and once again spoke through Vulpesen. "Just n- Alright, getting creepy boy, we'll practice later." He looked back to Alex. "Apparently Ashlan bonds still have some undiscovered perks."
