Once More with Feeling (Need Master)

@[member="Crystal"]

Azlyn thought about it, what did she want to do? She wanted to be strong but that was too vague there were many types of strength. She could be powerful with a saber if she wanted to try it but that would be something to see, she could try and be powerful with the force but her family and culture had some strange affinity. Her empathic abilities might be strange or react differently. She was still thinking about the different forms of strength though when it came down to it and what would work for her in time. "My imagination can be quite varied but when it comes to strength I want to look at force powers, there are many things that could happen but I do not think I am as much a sith. Something in between sith and jedi."

Crystal smirked at her response. "You don't have to pidgeon hole yourself just yet. Let's see where the Force takes you. We'll start simple."

The Sith Princess gestured to the candy. "Lift it with your mind." For starters, she demonstrated that it was not an impossible task. The candy lifted from the table, hovered for a minute, and she set it back down.

"Focus on the space around the candy. Visualize moving it. Will it." She instructed.

Azlyn paid attention, more then she might have normally but it was how you did it and her pupils dilated a little as taking in the gestures, the feeling of the area around her and the general disposition of her master yes that was the word though it was strange to say. Her hands moved mirroring it for a moment while she mentally went through what she was thinking about while reaching out. She was wanting the candy to rise up and float there while she went about it more and more in her mind recalling it all.

Crystal watched her, monitoring her progress. Azlyn was making progress, even if she couldn't see it. She offered encouragment, or perhaps distraction depending on how her apprentice reacted to telepathic communication.

~Keep going. You're close.~

She wasn't good yet at telepathic communication more she was good at using her abilities to work out observations and problems. She coudln't respond back but had the candy floting a little barely a few inches before her master was in her head and she lost concentration on the piece. It dropping back down and a small huff escaping her lips. "Almost had it"

Crystal smiled. "You had it. I distracted you on purpose. You will often have to work under pressure. Do it again. It becomes easier with practice."

It was a matter of concentrating on the task and not letting anything distract from the task at hand.

Azlyn gave a nod of her head to that, her master was right there would be distractions in the field and in combat she would have to be able to handle. She would have to learn how to better focus while she took a breath and let it out before squinting at the candies and focusing with the force. Letting her hands make the motions until she had one of the pieces to move until it rose up again and she was focusing more and more until her own hand shook with strain. Then released it and let out the breath. "That was, tiring. I'll have to work on my stamina."

Crystal nodded. "It's like building muscles. At first, it's tiring because you've never used them before. It will come with time."

With next to no effort, she pushed the candy toward Azlyn. "Push it to me. The same way you lifted it."

@[member="Crystal"]

That made sense and Azlyn nodded her head in agreement to it that while she moved a little to be right there and push back at the candy her master was sending her way. Her hands went out while she focused to send the force from her fingertips and flexed the energy back to roll it along the table.

Crystal was pleased. Azlyn was picking it up quickly. She called the candy to her hand.

"Pull it from my hand to yours." And she helped herself to a piece while she was at it. She chewed, amused.

@[member="Crystal"]

Azlyn looked at her master now, pushing was one thing but pulling well she would have to focus on it as she let her breath out and squinted pulling with her hands at the candy in her masters hands. Letting the force flow from her fingertips and outward with a breath before pulling as she inhaled. All the while her mind was going -come over here-

Crystal watched her as she worked to complete the task she'd been assigned. The Sith Master was not making the task more difficult by any means, but instead watching to see if her apprentice could transfer knowledge to complete a task.

But for fun, she used the Force to lift Azlyn's chair. It would likely shake briefly. Another well timed distraction. Just for shits and giggles.

Azlyn was lost in her concentration and focus... too much to notice at first when her chair lifted but she then felt it shake and thought -earthquake- with her mind breaking concentration until she fell forward out of it and felt a sharp spike of pain when her tail bone hit the floor. She wasn't expecting it and brought her head up hitting the underside of the table. "Ouch."

Crystal blinked. Well, apparently a shake was enough to get her off the chair. And her reflexes weren't what she'd hoped for. That was okay. They could be trained. The Sith Master stood up from the chair she'd been sitting in.

"Let's go outside. Less things to hurt yourself on out there." She grinned.

The Sith Princess led the way outside to a clearing that was flat and even on the ground. No obstacles. "We're going to train your Force sense."

Azlyn gave a nod as she stood up... less places to hurt would be a nice thing somewhat. She hadn't been expecting it and now was making a fool of herself but learning had to begin somewhere. She'd have the senses and not make that kind of mistake again and then she was moving and had found herself coming back with concentration while she was following her master. "That will help, more of the basics are good."

@[member="Azlyn Ike"]

Crystal smiled, glad that they were in agreement. "I'm pleased that you agree."

She was quiet for a moment. It was probably best to tell her apprentice what she was going to do before terrifying her. "I'm going to dull your physical senses to make sure you'll learn quickly."

And seconds later, Azlyn would be temporarily blind and nearly deaf. Crystal began to circle her apprentice silently, at least to Azlyn's ears. She gave it a few moments for Azlyn to adjust, then spoke to her in her mind.

~Hit me~

Azlyn stood there for a time and listened and then she was blind and deaf. Something or the sensation (or loss there of) brought a small panic to herself. Her empathy was a joke compared to others of her kind. A side effect of her being albino but more then that right now as she stood there and closed her eyes on instinct. Her masters words in her head while she clenched her fists. Letting them come up closer to her chest ready for a fight and she tried to reach out with her senses that remained going after her master.

~Let the Force be your eyes and ears. Find me first~

Crystal wouldn't hit her. That wasn't the point of the exercise. She did however keep moving around her, just out of arms reach. She didn't have an overpowering scent, so that was unlikely to aid Azlyn in finding her. The only thing that would help her was the Force and time.

@[member="Crystal"]

Use the force? That was something she could try and she breathed in deeply pushing the breath through her muscles and into each nerve of her skin. The hairs stood up with goosebumps while she exhaled. Then a quick breath again before her hands came out and swiped turning her body with it to bring her leg around with more reach in a spin. Not to bash and hurt too much but to clear the area around her in a circle and search for things. She could feel slightly almost the vibrations but wasn't too sure just yet.

Crystal narrowed her eyes at Azlyn, wondering what the hell she was doing. But, she didn't judge. It's not like she had to learn as an adult. It was much easier to learn as a child when your imagination was at its peak. As an adult, she imagined it would be difficult because you'd have to change all of your instincts. As a child, your instincts aren't trained yet. So Crystal was giving her a helping hand by removing the very things that fed instinct.

The Sith Princess stopped moving after taking several steps backwards. Staying still would help her get started.
