Once More with Feeling (Need Master)

@[member="Crystal"]

Azlyn felt her hand and then body go back on the ground with a slight skid. Not something she was expecting and she shook her head for a moment taking in some breath. With her master speaking she listened and stood there letting herself relax just a little. The small tremble in her muscles before she looked up and spoke. Her endurance wasn't to bad all things considered. "I am feeling good master. I could still go."

"Very well." Crystal nodded. "You can use the Force to enhance your speed and strength. Use it to fuel your muscles."

She ran in a circle, aided by the Force, and was back in front of Azlyn in a second. Then she jumped straight up, twice as high as a normal person could. "This most basic skill will save your life. It has saved mine on many occasions.

"Let's see what you can do."

Azlyn watched and was taking it in, the mental strain giving way to a cool breeze in her head while she focused on the force and pushing it through her body. To restore and strengthen as needed or try to while she tensed and lept higher then normal seeing the height and having a look of surprise. Then she was back on the ground and her legs shook from the impact while it rattled her teeth for a moment. "That was... I haven't jumped that high before."

Crystal watched Azlyn as she set about completing her next task. She did a fine job on her first jump. Clearly things were starting to click for Azlyn. That was a good thing, as it meant her job would be easier. Instructions were working.

"Nice job." She smiled, then ran toward the street. "Let's see if you can catch me." That of course was unlikely, but Crystal knew that. Around the block would probably be enough to tire out the apprentice.

And so the lap began.

Azlyn gave a nod of her head as she took in a breath and leaned down a little lower to the ground for a moment. Her boots tapping to the ground before her master was off and she reached down deep into the force to find what she needed to push, to ease it into her muscles and sinew towards the bones for the shock. Then she was off and time seemed to slow down while she ran after her, she doubted she would catch up but with a small exhale of breath her body surged forward using all training to find a pace she could keep and not over exhert herself.

Crystal ran even faster as Azlyn gained ground on her. She knew full well that the Zeltron woman could not keep up, or continue indefinitely, so it was simply a matter of time. Time, she had. Endurance, she had. The Sith Princess was good to go.

She called to Azlyn telepathically ~You'll have to go faster than that.~

Azlyn looked at her master go faster and she had a smirk as she dug down deep and pushed, letting the energy surge into her legs and kicked off more. A burst of speed and sprint but she knew catching her master wasn't something that would happen. She surged forward pumping her arms and letting her hair flow behind her, this force wasn't such a bad thing really it could help with being tired and weary or feeling the burning in her lungs and muscles. That small pain in her side or throbbing in her legs. Got to catch her The though was in her head but she wasn't projecting it to much forward.

Crystal just kept running, though not leaving Azlyn ridiculously far behind. After all, it was meant to motivate her, not convince her to give up. She did admire the Zeltron's persistence. The Sith Princess could go all night, it was up to Azlyn to decide when she'd had enough. All she had to do was say the word.

Never give up, never surrender the albino zeltron didn't know the word quit or at least her pride didn't know when to stop her. Something thasst might need to be worked on but for the moment there was no need to as she continued after her master starting to feel the burn in her side and lungs but she moved faster letting that burn push. Just like training and going after it you dug down and then looked deeper.

Impressive that Azlyn was able to push herself as hard as she was for this long, but probably not in her best interest at this point. She should know her limit, and would soon learn when she'd reached it. At this rate, the woman would be working herself until she passed out and would be out for a while.

And so, Crystal pushed harder. She started to put some distance between herself and Azlyn. Her apprentice would have to over expend herself to keep up, and wouldn't last. But, she would learn.

She kept at it and was feeling it in her chest until Azlyn stopped for a moment and her legs went out from under her. The feeling of wooziness overcame while she went downt o her knees and one hand went to the ground. She let out a gasp while slowly relearning how to breathe and the adrenaline slowly started to subside. The albino felt her chest heaving until she had the burning in her muscles sending a throbbing of pain all over. "Whew.... that was fun."

Crystal smirked. She'd won, as was normal for her. Today's battle was over. Tomorrow, the war would go on. She turned around and slowed as she approached her apprentice.

"You probably don't want to run yourself into the ground like that very often." She offered her a hand up. "It's exhausting, I assure you. We're done for today."

Azlyn looked up and at her master with a nod of her head as she took her hand and was still gulping in some air. Slowly while she rose the burning in her muscles was subsiding to a dull throb while she smiled and spoke. "Not often but it is always good to see ones limits." She stood there and stretched while rolling her shoulders until she bounced up a little bit. "Oh I feel loosened up and ready to sleep, thank you master. I will see you tomorrow, same place?"

Crystal nodded. "Yes, tomorrow then. Go and rest." She chuckled a little as her apprentice wandered off. What would she teach the next day... that was something to consider. The Zeltron woman was learning quickly. Perhaps she should begin combat training. She'd have to break out the training sabers and remotes. Those had been collecting dust for a while now. The Sith Princess smiled and wandered off to get something to eat.

The next day, she waited at the field. Crystal had a bag full of toys for the day. She stood patiently waiting for her apprentice.

Azlyn had a grin and went off to the sleeping quarters while she changed and washed. Enjoying the feeling of warm water on tired muscles until she was relaxed enough to sleep. There was plenty of things she could say about being here with these people and their religion but studying the materials provided was a good thing. It made it all worth it when she finally went to sleep and woke up the next day. Wearing a more sturdy but also flexible Azlyn went to where her master was and stood with her hands behind her back in a relaxed stance. "My master I am ready to begin."

Crystal nodded to her. "Stand there." She reached down and picked up a training saber. Tossing it, she spoke. "This is a lightsaber. It's for training purposes only, so it won't kill you or dismember you. But it will hurt a lot if you get hit by them. Go ahead and activate it with the switch."

It would take some time to get used to the weight of the hilt and the lack of weight of the blade, she knew this, but it would come with practice. And so she would dive right in. She gave her two minutes to test it out though.

She bent over and picked up a blindfold and stepped toward Azlyn. "We're going to do something different now." And that was as much as she said before blindfolding her apprentice. "I'm going to turn on floating devices that will fire at you. Your task is to deflect them away from yourself."

It was going to hurt. A lot. She would take a number of shots, of that Crystal was certain. And she activated one device. It was going to fire every fifteen seconds until she pressed a button to change the setting.

Azlyn looked at her master and went to where she designated her to stand. Then popped her neck and prepared. So may good things could come from this as she felt the weight of the saber in her hand. It was a little heavier then she had expected and activating it with a silvery glow the apprentice smirk. Letting her hands grip it and she fell into a ready stance for a moment just like with a beskad..... After the time hr master had given her, Azlyn gave a nod. Basic training for deflection or dodging most likely and she was ready. A blindfold was just like closing her eyes in the battle circle. "Alright I am ready."

[member="Azlyn Ike"]

Crystal smirked and started the remote. The first shot came, and fifteen seconds later, another, and another....

She watched Azlyn closely for indications of any further instruction that the Zeltron would require.

[member="Crystal"]

Azlyn moved, the blade coming up to try and block the shot where she believed it would come from. Every instinct in her said to dodge shots and not go after them but she was using a saber. That could deflect and reflect the shots into the enemy and you couldn't be afraid of the blaster. It was whoever was using it. The blast hit her hand but with a gritting of teeth Azlyn moved catching the second shot to send it to the floor. The other blasts were hit and miss, several she caught by happy accident and the others caught her hand getting yelps.

Crystal watched. It seemed as though she was just guessing. Well, she could fix that. She adjusted the settings so that it would fire every ten seconds and let it go. And then she grabbed another, and set it for ten seconds as well. But, they were not synchronized.

And she smirked as she watched. The Zeltron would have to learn to listen to her senses.
