Onna o yametai (Anastasia Rade)

"Yes it does, you can increase your strength enough to pick someone up but you won't run nearly as fast." Matsu looked at her more and the flashes of her family she understood. She had them as well maybe not like a seer but she sometimes saw how sad her mother had been the day she was born. It wasn't much. "Try it, use the mist to enhance your strength and lift one of the larger rocks." Matsu indicated around at the semi boulders and debris from the temple being afflicted with time.

She was able to use a spell to lift up smaller stones but bigger ones she still had a struggle with. Anastasia focused on one of the bigger rocks trying to use the mist created earlier to lift it up. She watched as it went up a few inches before falling back down.

"Normally I use a spell for this. Wouldn't that be more powerful than this mist? I'm able to move object just fine that way. It's not much but it does work."

She looked at her confused for a moment. "The mist is produced by the spirit ichor, the spirit ichor is used for the spells. You could go for just chanting but it wouldn't be as effective. The mist contains the force able to enhance the will of the one working for it." Matsu slowly and softly spoke the spell focusing but used the mist to focus it and her hand touched the rock as she scooped it and tossed it off to the side. The sound of it striking a tree while she stood there and gave a nod of her head. "There is always power in using all sides of the magic and force."

"I want to be powerful so that nobody can ever hurt me or those I care about ever again. I want to learn as much as I can to accomplish just that." She glanced to the rocks for a moment before once again trying to lift the rock using what energies she still had from the mist.

It lifted for a few moment hovering in the air before falling back down to the ground. She didn't want to learn like a Sith as she didn't want to be one. She would have to keep herself grounded somehow.

"I want to free all the slaves."

Matsu listened to her and raised an eyebrow. "That is a dangerous path there is a very fine line between wanting to protect and wanting to be stronger then anyone else. For some it becomes an obsession, it becomes a need to be the best." She moved over to stand next to her. "It is one so many fall into and find themselves lost. Find themselves seeking power and hording knowledge while slowly descending into the darkside." She needed to make sure she knew the dangers of what she wanted. "However there are ways to be strong and fast and wise without falling to the darkness or to the greed. You won't want power for powers sake but it does not mean you won't face dangers. We will keep training and pushing towards that." Matsu was looking at the crystals she had found, the shards were large enough for a saber but she felt stronger here while she held out her hand and moved some fo the flowers to her.

"I know, I don't want to be like my masters. I fought with them my whole life and to now to turn out that way would be terrible. It's not what I want. It may be better to just help those whom have survived the Sith. Set up safe house and such but to do that I do need funds somehow. I guess I have a lot to figure out."

Sighing lightly she looked down to the gems just sitting there wondering if they would be good to sell. Anastasia could take them to this black market that she kept hearing about. They may be able to get enough to get something started or maybe there was something already out there. "Do you think any of this is worth anything?"

Matsu looked at her. "A noble effort, wanting to help those who have been hurt by the sith. The Republic pushed to do that before but they lost their way, now slowly she was looking at the stone Anastasia had found and Matsu raised an eyebrow as she stood there. "Oh that does look like it could be valuable. Lets see." Matsu moved a little closer mostly to look at it and she brought her hand up. "Looks like an opari, the crystals form from force energy and moisture in the air. It is a strange crystal but in the right hands can be very useful."

She didn't have the resources as of yet to help those whom had been wronged by the Sith but that was a work in progress along with everything else. Anastasia did her best to try not to think about any of that as she knew it would only overwhelm her. She took things one day at a time, one step at a time to get her to her goals.

“What is an opari crystal? What can it do?” There was so much that she didn't know that she wanted to know. It had gotten her to the point of beginning to take classes on the holo web to help educate herself.

Matsu looked at her with a smile. "Well is a lightsaber is can make the blade sharper, easier to see and focus on. Make the cutting power stronger as well, outside of a saber it can be very pretty given the proper cut." There were a couple of uses for it she could think of but a pretty crystal in a ring or necklace wasn't for her to give to another woman...or at least a stranger like Anastasia. "If you have someone special you could put it in a necklace and help them look pretty." She kept moving and walked with it all while going and holding her small shards of crystal as she spoke. "These are kuiburr shards, large enough I could make fit them in a saber but I have other plans. Further down the road. Now lets see what else we can find there used to be a jedi outpost here near the temple."

"I'm just thinking for the long term on how I plan on going about trying to support myself. I think selling these things may be my best bet unless it would be more useful to sell them."

She almost snorted when she was told to make it into a necklace for someone special in her life. It wasn't Matsu's fault of course as she didn't know. It was just her against the galaxy as she didn't trust anyone enough to let them get too close. It was better that way for her especially after the way her elder brother blew up on her.

"I could perhaps make something for myself. I don't have anything pretty really so this would be nice." She spoke as she continued walking. "Why are the Jedi not here anymore? Did the Sith wipe them out?"

"They forgot." Matsu said it with a small smile thinking back on all of it and remaining there for a moment while she moved about. She had seen the jedi who came here and the small base they had set up in one of the old Imperial bases. Now they didn't even bother with it as she was moving about. "The jedi came, set up then as time went on they changed and information was lost in the shuffle of it all. There is much the current jedi ignore or forgot about and I have it marked as needed. It helps when I want places to stay or explore. Like right now and there is still plenty of things we can find here." Matsu kept moving and brought out her saber as she activated it slicing across some vines to get rid of it. "Shall we go deeper, you never know what you might find down there."

"We could find Jedi artifacts? I don't know how useful those would be to me but they may be interesting," she stated as she continued to walk along. Her gaze was to the ground looking for something of interest. The only thing that she was finding currently was rocks. A bunch of useless rocks.

Wrinkling her nose she sighed lightly as she continued deeper with her guide. "Is the temple still standing? Can I go in?"

"You never know." The idea of the jedi leaving artifacts was.. questionable it might have happened but she doubted it. However not all artifacts were shiny some were old and covered in dust while she looked at the rocks and motioned Anastasia in. "You can and it is. The temples were built to last and we have only just begun to explore. Never know what you might find but never discount the value of things. Not all secret and special things need to be shiny or glitter. Some you will find are only impressive when you hold them in your hands." She held up the crystal shards. "Like these, here in the temple they are powerful, outside the temple they resonate with the force and will prove useful. We will see what is deeper."

"That makes sense. I would think the most valuable things are actually ran bland in color. You know as the owner may want to try to hide it away. The temple, can we go in it?" Ana was here for the adventure so if she found actual hidden treasure or not was irrelevant. Ana still had a nap sack on just incase she did find something of use.

As she continued to walk Ana tripped over something and fell to the ground face first. She was first embarrassed that she had fallen down but than also curious to see what she may have tripped over.

Sitting up Ana saw that there was a brown edge sticking out of the ground and as such pulled on it but was unable to pull it out. Getting on her knees she tried again. "What is this? It doesn't feel like a tree branch or root as it's much too smooth."

"Of course." Matsu was looking at the temple and shifting her eyesight as she stood there for a moment to get them to adjust. The full sight of it all as she stepped over and carefully past obstructions had her surprised when Anastasia tripped over something. Matsu turned on her heels and looked down at her and the branch she was tugging on coming away as she spoke. "That looks like a a gnarled root but..." She was looking over it all and wondering. She was looking at it closer now while while touching it and noting the smoother texture of it all, the thought of a root went away same as Anastasia with the feeling of it. "I do not know.." She took out the saber and held it activating the blade and lighting up the area to see it better then with glow rods and moved her hands. "If we can get it out this would be a good thing to have and check out later."

"No matter how hard I tug it won't come out. It seems to be stuck." Shaking her head slightly she pulled again to no avail. Ana was no weak little girl so that fact that it was stuck frustrated her as well as peaked her curiosity. It must be something quite big.

"I'm going to dig it up," she looked up to [member="Matsu Ike"] for a moment before looking down to the dirt and beginning to dig for whatever this brown thing was. It could be nothing or it could be something. Ana either way too involved now to not dig for it.

As she continued to dig she could see it taking the shape of some sort of box.

Matsu was looking at it and took a moment mostly to get her pack and she grabbed one of the multi-tools as a spade appeared. She gently started digging with it as the shape of a box came into view and ran a hand over it. Using another tool to brush at it while working to be focused. "This is... bigger then i expected, might be quite a find and here in the pathways... no one would have looked for it." Her smile was on her face though brushing away more dirt from the top of it. This could be a real find as it were.

"It seems to be a box of some sort. There is something etched in it. I can't really see it from this angle but it looks like a picture." Ana tried tilting her head to better see the etching but really couldn't make out anything.

Grabbing spade she began to dig again. This thing whatever it was was quite big and not knowing what it was driving the young witch crazy.

It could honestly be that hidden pirate treasure that she had been looking for or hoping for so she could decorate her place.

Matsu was looking at it more and more now as they worked uncovering the box more and more. She spoke looking at the young witch as she moved back just a little.. "Looks like you got a nice piece of loot there already. Be careful with it though and hold tight, other groups if they had been with you might try and take it but I can respect you got it quite quickly." There is still plenty of ruins to explore." She had a smile on her face though showing how much she was really enjoying this. Lots of fun after all.

"I know, the galaxy is a cruel place. Thank you though for being kind. I'm not used to that at all." She looked up to her briefly before looking down at the box to pull it out and place it in her bag. She would examine it later when she was alone.

Getting up she brushed off her pants and continued walking along hoping to maybe stumble across something else of interest.
