OOC Dominion of Asmeru & Barkhesh - Now With More First Order Intrigue!

Well well, look what we found here.
Guess if this is going to be my first RP topic since coming back from deep space(Not logging in). I better check out the OOC topic and see what is going on behind the scenes and introduce myself.
Name's Dar'rak and I am a Jedi Knight and star fighter ace. I pilot the largeish ship with a wingspan of 50 meters seen in my signature. Don't get any bright ideas though about trying to overflank her. She is quite manuverable in my capable force inhansed hands. Though I wont be partaking in Objective B with the other pilots Dar'rak will be near by if they are in need of an assist. Instead I will be on planet with the other two Jedi taking part in Objective C. Speaking of, since neither of them seem to have posted here yet I am opening up possible discussion here as well about our task.

Saw you quoted this, so let me clear it up!
We now have tiered dominions, which means we can go for more than one planet. The catch is that if we do a Tier 1 dominion, the max one writer can contribute to it is 25 posts. A tier 2 requires 110 posts, (Max a writer can contribute is 27). For a tier 3, then the max one can contribute as a writer is 37.
That is why you see the post counts on each person, that means that they as a writer have already posted "so many times" in the dominion. Just a way to keep track.
I'm excited for this! I'll go ahead and post to you both and maybe catch up with Karen if she wants to.

So does that mean that we can only post that many times in a thread? Or does that mean in order to succeed in an invasion/dominion a side needs a minimum 5 posters to max out their post count? Also what about defenders? Do they have to reach the post cap before the invading force in order to repel them successfully?

As long as a single poster isn't responsible for more than 1/4 of all posts then you're fine, and since most dominion stories keep going after the dominion is complete you should be alright, there's no cap. There's no defenders unless it's an invasion thread and then the winner is decided by the story and turn of IC events rather than the post count

While they do look strikingly similar Dar'rak is by no means a Trandoshan as he has had a tail from birth and they are born without such an appendage. As of right now his species is still undefined as simply reptilian. For the sake of conversation should anyone ICly ask about his species and confuse him as such, that will be ok due to them sharing similar DNA. However from an OOC standpoint I just wanted to make that clear.Roon Ganar said:

It seems other threads have taken a back seat for posts in favor of a certain invasion thread. Between that and the swarm of end of the year holiday nonsense, things could take time in time to post and do.
