"I'll have a fambaa delight, if you have it, and a Caesar salad please. Also, if you could bring me some water, that'd be great." Gherron noticed slight movement under the table, but paid it no mind. Instead, he tried his best at making small talk. 'Let's see how royally you screw this up' Trying to put his thoughts at ease, he have a small smile. "So anyway, what exactly are you struggling with in force training? Is it a move in particular, or just the force in general?"

Nala responded with a little shrug and said "It's mainly the force in general. It only ever seems to work when I'm in distress or angry...and when that happens it's not exaclty pretty." she said, giving him a bit of a worried look. "But just trying regular things, like moving stuff, that's where I can't get it. It either doesn't move or moves too fast. But, I don't know, I think I might start to get better. Master Syn's been giving me techniques to use when I pratice. Though I still could obviosuly use more of it." When the meals arrived she licked her lips before taking a quick bite. She gave a hum of delight at the taste. This was one of her favorite dishes, and one she didn't eat that often.

(OOC: Whelp, I'm headed to bed, I'll get to your post in the morning lol. Goodnight!)

Gherron smiled as he saw Nala enjoying her food, but he couldn't help but think back to the first time he used the force. Like with her, he was in distress. He had nowhere else to go. The man that was chasing him... Snapping back to reality, he realized that his food was now in front of him. He smiled again, trying to get the flashback to go away, even though he knew it wouldn't. Taking a few bites, he enjoyed the taste greatly. "I could help you with that easily then. I've had... experience in only being able to use the force while in distress or pain. You know, I could teach you how to meditate. It's how I always calm myself, even in a crowded place. Works every time, guarantee it."

She looked up and said "Mediation? Oh! I know what you're talking about." she sighed a little and oked her meal with her fork while saying "I've had trouble with that too. Always can focus or I end up focusing too much or...or my mind just wonders too far." Nala looked back to him and said "But....if you can help with that, it would be great too. Thank you, Gherron. Really. It's nice to know you're there for me." she said before sipping her juice.

"I'm sure I can help. If you ask Syn or Master DragonsFlame, they'll tell you real quick how stubborn I can be. But, I still learned meditation through peace and understanding." He let that longer for a second or two. "I'm sure you'll get it."

Nala smiled and nodded as she finished up her meal. The whole time she pcitured what it would be like meditating with Gherron. Sitting together. Relaxing. Taking in thier thoughts. Holding hands and... wait. Did meditating invlove hands holding? Her mind waneder again and she snapped back to reality. WHy was she feeling this way around him? What was it anyway? "Uh, Gherron?" she asked. "Do you ever have that moment where you feel something for the first time but you have no idea what it is?" She knew the question sounded odd but she really wanted and answer.

Gherron nodded immediately, taking another bite of his food. After he finished, he spoke. "Yea, that happens to me a lot actually. What are you feeling now?" It was a rather odd question, but he was curious. She had been acting a little strange since they had gotten to the resteraunt, which had thrown him off track at first. The staring, the shaking.... Something clicked in the back of his head, and it all made sense. 'She likes me.'

@[member="Nala Tu"]

"I.....I really don't know." she said. "I feel..... like I haven't felt in a long time. I usually don't get this way unless I'm learning something new from my master or reading about ancient Jedi masters. I think it's ......I really don't know a word for it." She scratched her chin while trying to think of an answer. It was such a confusing thought and yet she enjoyed the fact that it was confusing.

"You only feel it when you're learning something new, huh?" This intrigued Gherron. The first time he had actually liked someone, it had felt much the same way. He had been seriously let down when he realized that ghostlings couldn't effectively have relationships, but that was the past. Right now, it seemed that Nala was having a hard time explaining this new sensation, just like he did when he felt it. "Maybe..." He trailed off, not wanting to actually say anything and screw up, like he always did. Even if he was right, who's to say that it would go well, anyway? He shrugged softly and thought about it.

That's when the idea came to her mind. She 'liked' when these things happened and this feeling was very similar to liking. She 'liked' this boy. That was something she never thought she'd know. Nala looked at him, a bit stunned by herself for feeling this way, before quickly putting the money down for her meal. "I think we should go bavk to the temple. Just to...you know get back before dark. I mean you never know what you'll run into at night. Maybe more thugs or a sith or soemthing. Really bad. Don't want to get tangled up with one of them, you know." she gave a nervous giggle as she rambled and wuickly got up. She hurried to the door and waited until Gherron was busy paying so she could take a few breaths to relax herself. She was more nervous than she could ever be right now.

Gherron sighed a little and waited for the server to come back. Taking Nala's money off of the table, he paid for the whole thing. Getting up, he met her by the door and handed the money back to her. "You know, when a guy invites you to lunch, it's usually customary for him to pay.' He smirked a little, trying to show that he wasn't phased by her reaction.

Nala took the moeny back, a bit surprised, and said "Oh...thank you. I didn't really know. A boy's never invited me to lunch before. In fact.... no one's invited me anywhere before. Unless, maybe if you count being invited to the Jedi order, althought I think that's more a obligation than invite and..." she stopped herself and said "Sorry. Rambling. I'll just shut up now." In her head she was cursing herself for acting so foolishly around him. By the force she would rather deal with a sith right now than feel like an embaressment of herself.

Gherron chuckled, shaking his head. "I told you, it's fine. Look, you wanted to head back to the temple, right? Maybe we can work on your meditation when we get there. Deal?" He smiled at her, a twinkle in his eye, the good one. "Besides, I could also show you my room there. Yes, I live in the Jedi temple. But it's cool. You'd like it, it has an amazing view of the skyline."

@[member="Nala Tu"]

"Oh. Well yes that would be nice." she said in terms of his offer for helping with mediation. When talking about seeing his room came up she blushed a little and said "That would be nice. I only know so many people who actually live in the temple. I tend to stay in the guest quater while I visit here now-and-then." As they walked Nala just tried to stay calm as they came closer to the temple. She hoped that, whatever would happen next, she wouldn't make a bigger fool of herself in front of Gherron.

While they walked, Gherron had some time to think to himself. It surprised him that someone actually liked him. Sure, there had been one person, bt she made it very clear that there was no physical way for them to be together. In other words, major rejection. But this... this was different. He was dealing with a kaminoan, not something as fragile as a ghostling. If things were to go beyond friendship, there could be plenty of possibilities. Sure, he'd have to adapt to having a girlfriend who was much taller than him, but he told himself that he would do his best to adapt if that were to happen. By now, they were at the temple. Gherron figured that he'd show her his room first, then they could train in the courtyard in the back afterwards. Walking to his room, he opened the door and walked in, smiling. "Home, sweet home."

Nala began to think on what it would be like being 'paired' with Gherron. She'd never done anything like it before and wasn't sure what was or wasn't supposed to happen while they were. She then thought how odd it would be since, she being kaminoan and he being human, the ehight difference would seem a bit off. But then she supposed that really shouldn't matter, given some of the pairings she'd seen in her time. When they'd reached hos room she looked about and said "Oh. It's actually very nice." she then walked to the window and saw the view he'd mentioned before, giving a little sigh and saying "It is amazing. Just like you said."

"Told you." Smirking to himself, he walked up next to Nala, also admiring the view. Not looking, he put his hand down to steady himself, accidentally covering her hand. When he noticed this, his cheeks turned a soft shade of pink, but he didn't take his hand off. Instead, he continued to look out of the window, smiling at the view.

A shudder ran up her arm as she felt his hand over her own. Nala looked down, seeing the size difference for a moment, before looking back up to him just as he looked out towards the window. She didn't know what he was doing, but she rather liked it. Thinking it was an accident, however, she said "Your, uh, hand is on mine, Gherron. Just thought you should know." She blushed greatly, not knowing how he would or should respond to this.

Nala nodded a little before deciding to lead him this time to the training area. It was starting to get late into the afternoon by the time they arrived. Thankfully most of the youngling classes had ended so they had plenty of privacy. Nala wanted to make sure she was as clear and relax as she could be in order to meditae, making her remove her hooded robe and putting her saber down along with it. She turned back to Gherron and said "Alight, Master Vael." she joked. "I'm ready."
