Mythos smiled at her comment then gave her a slight nod. "There are quite few places in the Galaxy as Hostile in temperature as Mustafar" He chuckled remembering that he was quite differently dressed compared to the last time they had met, instead of that now he was a Gallant and poised individual. "This is my Daughter Kida, and that was my Apprentice [member="Naga Itesak"] " Mythos said that with all confidence but he was not sure which of the two people she spoke about. Picking up [member="Kida Malgus"] in his arms and kissing her in the cheek she brought her a bit closer for the princess to have a look at her. "Two Princess huh?" He gave her another kiss " I love you, my handful of Primal ferocity" He chuckled as he put her down gently and looked at the princess once more about to ask a Bold question seeing as he was currently in the position for it. "Princess it is a Ball, Care for a Dance?" He extended his hand and placed a gentle smile on his Lips. Oh yes, Mythos did indeed know how to dance, and quite well.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Galicus was now having a small drink and awaiting the beginning of the Ball Dances that by all traditions should include the presence of the Magistrate however Galicus was surprised after looking around the place to see that the Magistrate was no where to be seen... "How odd." Galicus however was not phased, and now looked for a specific Muun called Haskani Vassik he had seen earlier and found him quite easily. Haskani did not attract Galicus' interest or his care for anything other than two things; the first being he owed Galicus a favor by getting him the Job he now had as one of the Clerks of the Magistrate and the second being that he had the ability of getting to the Magistrate however he could. [member="Vassik Kilvaari"] was hard to get a hold of, only by getting someone to talk to him or send him a message could one even hope to get an audience. "Haskani! how are you doing my old friend?" Galicus said as he approached the Adult Muun which in turn smiled and bowed as well.
"I am well Master Sagious how is the Family?"
"Old Washed up and Squabbling for my fortunes, as always" they both shared a genuine laugh. Old friends from back in the Muunilinst college back in the day.
"That is good to hear, it means nothing has changed" they cheered and shared a sip of Champagne.
"I am in need of a favor old friend, I need you to reach the Magistrate for me. Can you do that?"

The force pulsated outwards from Zambrano, beating to the rhythm of his slow, dead, rotten heart. It penetrated through all life in the surrounding area, returning his ripples in the force to him, illuminating the web he had created which connected them all into a single entity. An entity by which Zambrano was the sole sentient being. Without harming them, he fed upon their very existence, living off of their ambient energies. Until the students would speak in return to him, his voice was silence, while his mind was opened.

What once was twisted and mangled within his soul, was now ordered by the webs of fear hidden away within him. Spidery entities crawled unseen across the landscape, tasting every grain of sand, touching every filament of plant that existed... and this was just the surface. The serpent had yet to explore deeper, into the chaotic center of life in this island: beneath the surface of the water.

If the same question he had asked was posed to him, he would tell him that he sees the catalyst for growth, of change, of chaos. He would tell him he was witnessing the Rift itself.

He intertwined his fingers with those of the elegant madame he was currently charming out of her jewels. All the jewels. Get your damn mind out of the gutter.

Anyway, there was business at hand, and Laguz needed to do it. Like actually lifting those glittering Corusca gems placed so neatly into their cradles of silver and gold, embraced by the petals of what looked like roses from Alderaan. Now, one might claim that Laguz was already in possession of a great deal of Corusca gems — more than most would ever imagine a single person could ever have, in fact — but the merc wouldn't have come this far if he wasn't driven by the greed burning in his rotten little heart.

Ambition, my friends.

That, and quick fingers.

The shifter spewed smooth nothings as he twirled the madame across the floor, flashing his pearly whites at the woman in his grasp. It was easy, really. Having taken a good long look at the people she'd been ogling while standing about beside her old and wilted husband, Laguz had made subtle adjustments to his appearance before approaching her, making himself all the more appealing to her roaming eye.

These people just didn't know how to handle their wealth, really, and the thief was there to relieve them, graciously so, of the riches they would doubtless squander at some time or other. What a lovely man, indeed.

So lovely, in fact, that he slid a needle into the arm of a passing target before slinking away to find another mark to rob, certain that another Bleeding Sun would be there to escort the 'fainting' man to an ambulance. More like his hearse, really, but the partygoers needn't be apprised of that small detail. Better for everyone's state of mind, and better still for Laguz's bank balance.

With that the Head Librarian stood from his custom designed chair, one built for the slender frame of the Muun people. Hal very much doubted that he fit his broad, muscular frame into such furniture but it was not a relevant worry.

Grottil came around from his own desk and walked towards the closest painting, his mind recollecting the necessary details that were needed when one was showing off such culture and wealth. This was indeed not his first time explaining his owned masterpieces to those who could not boast the same.

Hal, however, lingered at the desk for a moment. Now free to solve a minor problem while the Muun's back was now turned. A calloused hand was placed atop where the turret would spring up when activated. The benefit of being a former pacifist then came into play. An ability learned by the man when he was a Jedi was ionize, or to put it more plainly, disable droid.

He could not destroy the turret, that would be too obvious and he would be caught in the act.

However a subtle application of ionic energy would be enough to ensure that a barrage of turbolaser fire did not interrupt his plans. He could not have done this at a distance, a stream of energy travelling across the room would been beyond obvious. This was just a small short-circuit job.

Kira Corsai looked at the architecture of the lavish headquarters of the InterGalactic Banking Clan, and for once she had to admit that the Muuns had gotten something glorious right. Never mind that the complex economic structure of the entire galaxy was this doing, you had to have several advanced degrees and a moral compass that was certainly closer to good than she did. Madame Corsai, the head of the Corsai Merchant House was on Muun for the ball, but she couldn't pass up an opportunity to meet with the IGBC delegation and some representative.

She was escorted into a conference room, taking a seat along one side of the table. It took a few minutes but eventually the IGBC representatives she wanted to see filtered into the room and took a seat, exchanging just enough pleasantries to start the meeting. They were not ones for lavish parties, something that suited Sinistra, or Kira as it were, just fine.

Nomkneer went out to search for Vehiva, his tuka'ta, he searched through to where he heard her fall, his training over at Mukhashi village was very useful, he could hear even the steps of small creatures like birds and such. Nomkneer went dashing towards the forest in hopes of finding the tuka'ta, Nomkneer used his Mukhashi experience more for this mission, since he could not see much for the forest tapped much of the sunlight, but through his ears no-one could fool him. Nomkneer closed his eyes, and heard the air currents clashing against trees, he heard animals breath and animal foot steps. Nomkneer could only scan sounds until he pin-pointed Vehiva's sound, suddenly, Vehiva howled, Nomkneer got this sound recorded into his soul, not just the sound, but where it was coming from, Nomkneer went to the north west of the forest, where Vehiva howled in fear, freightened at the darkness, and worried for his master, wishing to be by his side. Nomkneer hoped on tree branches and ran over muddy paths as he went through the forest. Nomkneer suddenly slashed two trees and found his tuka'ta, and said "Vehiva come here!, good your safe, follow me", as he went deeper into the forest, lost, because he forgot all about his hunter knowledge of learning his paths as he travels, he was now deep in a forest, full of darkness, he could not remember anything as the worries for his pet were more important than anything about the islands patterns. Nomkneer was caring even though he was fierce and enraged almost every time you saw him, it was turning into a weakness, caring for his tuka'ta.

Once Darth Azurea fully rested, she sat in the center of the shipwreck and began to meditate. But being a Sith Knight now forced her to realize that it was nearly impossible to tap into the Light Side of the Force. Breath Control was a Jedi power and one that required intense concentrate, and an almost monastic meditative state. The former Jedi was so far off from the light that, even sitting there with her legs crossed, trying to sit still was trying enough. Maybe this isn't the time to attempt this, Setzi, she told herself. What was supposed to be a relaxing day out was turning into an introspective, existential crisis.

Emerging from the ship, she followed along behind the other divers, mostly out of curiosity. They were human - a male and a female. Both of them held harpoon guns and eventually, Azurea could see why. Twenty meters in front of them was the largest, ivory-colored shark that she had ever seen up close. She had only seen small sharks or barracuda on dives. This beast looked like it could eat all three of them in one swift bite.

Kida thoroughly enjoyed herself when Mythos pulled her from the ground - walking hurt her little feet! - and into his arms where she was showered with love. Her attention was caught by [member='Thais Kallisto'], another upright which her Papa was talking to. He knew a lot of people! The little girl hid her face into Animus' shoulder throughout the duration of her time in his arms. "Taa-oo, Pa-Pa!" She still hadn't quite grasped how to say I love you too, it was far easier to recycle the phrases that she did kind of know at this point. With time, no doubt, she would be talking like a girl of her age ought to.

But then she was settled back to the ground, and she immediately seized Animus' hand for support. His other one was offered out to the Lady. She peered curiously up between the two adults, before releasing Animus' hand and plopping herself down on the ground. She couldn't really hold her own weight up yet, not on two legs at least, her balance hadn't caught up with her. But that didn't matter, her more primal senses were able to gauge the situation, she knew that Animus wanted some time with the Lady. Perhaps Kida would hunt down someone to play with? Then again, there didn't seem to be any other children or animals around. Perhaps she would simply sit here and watch everyone!

Well, that was easy. It was to be expected, of course, from someone who had robbed one of the most secure casinos on Zeltros, lived to tell the tale — obviously — and even walked out of the front door with all their precious information, books, and Corusca gems — yes, indeed — without anyone so much as batting an eyelash. The very thought of that heist made Laguz all warm and mushy inside, but he held the emotion back for fear of scaring off his next target.

This was a woman in her ripe age, still very much good-looking, but also far more mature than his last catch. It would help her none once she was confronted by the all-consuming avarice that burned inside his heart. And fingers. Definitely fingers. And I said to get your mind out of the gutter, dammit.

As he led the venerable magnate onto the floor, Laguz already started casing his next potential target over the smaller lady's shoulder even as they swayed to the soft melody of some dance or other. Though he could never recall them by name — the merc made it his business to remember pertinent information, after all — he knew how to dance to all of them, and quite well to boot. He would have a hard time of blending in otherwise, of course, and had learned long ago to keep up with little tidbits like that that could really make or break one's cover.

Unlike some, of course. A passing agent — Del something or other — was well on his way to ruining the exorbitantly expensive Peri shoes one of the marks had decided to wear for this grand event, and though the shifter didn't care much for fashion, he did care for credits, and seeing them so carelessly stomped beneath clumsy feet made him cringe like little else could. Still, if that was the worst to happen today, they'd still make it through the ball without alerting anybody. The key was not raising any alarms, really, or at least not raising them for long enough until the silent vote would be closed. What happened after that was completely irrelevant, really. Their grasp of Muunilist would be complete.

As the Warlord sat there, taking in the wild life, thoughts began to swirl like mists within his head. Thoughts that were memories, not merely of this island, though they were at the forefront of his mind, but of his own path. A twisted maze of corridors full of blood, or empty of true happiness. Great abysmal chambers of depressing terrors and fears, palpable behind every corner. He dwelled on this swelling nest of filth locked away in every section of his great Hutt mind. Pain, pain described the maze perfectly. It was pain that drove up walls. It was pain that tore them down again. Pain, and suffering, the presence of change unwelcomed. It was the chaos he observed in the presence of life, that he determined it was chaos he would observe in the absence of it. It was the one universal constant, which predated the order of the universe. The supreme primordial ruler, and Balagoth stood guard at its gate, and unleashed it in trickles, lest it destroy all of reality into a great anarchic change, that mingled the unknown to the seen, and the known to the unseen.

Such would be ragnarok, the end of days, if ever Balagoth neglected his post at the Rifts. Such almost did happen during the "Netherworld Event". It was an event by which the Black Prophet wished to see come again, not to take the Seen away... but to bring back to him the Unseen... to bring back Mishk. If Mishk returned to him changed, his love for him could not be degraded. Him above all would understand that flesh was temporary, and that appearance did not matter... it was what Mishk did that mattered to him, the soul and spirit behind the flesh that he loved. Reincarnation was a prominent aspect of the Primeval faith, and none "believed it" as staunchly as Zambrano the Hutt, who had been experiencing it for the last four centuries.

So the child was Darth Mythos’s! This was an interesting development. Princess Kallisto’s normal pout gave way to a smile finally as the Sith Knight showered the young girl with love and affection.

“She is very pretty, indeed,” said Thais. The party atmosphere and her glass of champagne put her in a generous mood. “Janine,” she said, calling her hand maiden over. “Bring my crown.” The young human female attendant went off, and when she came back, she procured a crystal-lined tiara, which appeared to be worth at least a few thousand credits. Thais handed Janine her champagne, and then gently placed the tiara on top of Mythos’s daughter’s soft hair. It was a little big, but nothing a few pins wouldn't hold in place.

“There,” said the Princess admiring her handiwork. “That is a gift to your daughter from me. Because, you are right - she is a Princess too."

Then Darth Mythos asked her to dance, and while she thought she noticed a tense frown appear on Napo and Janine’s face, she said, “Of course I would!”
She knew that her closest confidents who were there at the party wouldn’t reveal that Princess Kallisto was off gallivanting around with Sith Knights. And those who were to spread that gossip in earnest and with wicked laughter? Well, they were not her closest confidents.

“This first piece is rare, Mustafarian,” Zhin began, causing Hal to turn to face the artwork, with his hand still upon the turret, “they are not a people known for art, rather they only known throughout the galaxy for mining.”

With typical focus Hal waited for the right time to expel the proper dosage of ionic energy, he would have to do it while the librarian was talking, as to try and disguise the noise that the soon-to-be short-circuited electronics would make.

“Oh?”

“Yes, Gav Carlago. One of a kind from his species. He painted with a dark intensity that was not popular at the time. Utilising bold contrast, his paintings were known for a strong use of both li-”

Zzzt.

“-ght and dark.”

Hal moved, having successfully disabled the turret, and hopefully not having aroused suspicion within the Muun. Walking towards the Mustafarian painting, he joined Zhin who in mid-proud gesture had paused his speech.

Before he could question anything, Hal spoke.

“Go on.”

"Come on....come on....KARK!" Enoch threw his drink across the cantina, and it slammed into a Rodian's head so hard, the man was knocked out. Enoch had just lost everything. Pod 4 was so close to being fourth, when at the very last second, it had pulled ahead. The man across from Enoch simply began dumping the credits he'd just won into a bag. He stood up, giving a nod to Enoch, and set down a single voucher in front of Enoch. "Good gambling with you."

Enoch snorted, drinking right afterwords. The crowd around him seemed pleased the smug Zambrano had lost, and slowly began drifting off to various corners of the cantina. Enoch sat there for a long while, before slamming his drink down, grabbing the voucher and a slider, and storming out of the cantina. Whoever that man was, Enoch would find him, and kill him.

Depositing the exquisitely aged ladyship at the side of the massive room again, Laguz quickly disappeared back into the crowd of partygoers before the madame could realize what had transpired, and that she was in fact missing several fat credit chits' worth of jewelry. One could only hope it wasn't borrowed, or the proprietor, wealthy as she might be, could easily find herself in deep, deep trouble.

None of that was a concern of Laguz's, however, for those ravenous eyes were already set on his next goal. This time, he abandoned the fairer sex in pursuit of a tall, proud figure in a dark tuxedo that nicely complimented the hues of his blue skin, offering a suggestive grin by way of greeting.

His last name might not have been Bane, but the man accepted nonetheless, and the pair took to the dance floor, amazing the bystanders with their adroit movements and fluidity even as they swirled amongst the other couples. Within seconds, they'd put them all to shame, and a few tacts later, Laguz and his target were left alone in the middle of a clearing, much to the joy of some females in the crowd. Go figure.

I'd advise you again to get your mind out of the gutter, but at this point I feel it is a rather moot point. There were enough heads gathering in the gutter outside — or, rather, below — the Center, though they mostly had their bodies attached still. It wasn't the fun kind of gutter, though; it was more of a ditch, really, a deep and dark one, where people stuff cadavers they don't want to have others find. And if they really don't care for being find out, they might cover those same corpses in lye. Not that Laguz knew anything about that. Clearly, the man was but a simple man come to enjoy the sights of the ball.

Clearly.

Yes, Nigel. What is it this time?

He really shouldn’t have blamed the boy. It wasn’t like it was his fault that the Mandalorians had grown insane, that the Primeval were taking advantage of a regrettable situation and that currently everyone was scrambling to take a piece of a delicious cake.

There is a… delegation to see the InterGalactic Banking Clan representatives.”

Origin?

A Merchant House, Magister. The Corsai’s.”

The Muun pondered on that for a while, before resuming his writing. “Not my concern, Nigel. I am but a humble aide to the Foreman. I am sure that his cousin will be more willing to see what this Merchant House needs.”

Of course, Magister. I will notify Magister Toloran that he’s expected in the conference room.”

Mmhm, good luck, my boy.” just a little bit of sarcasm.

The marine behemoth moved through the water slowly like a submarine. Azurea held back as she watched the other divers move in close and begin to circle it as though they were the predators. Suddenly, the great white shark made a quick move – one that neither diver expected. With its strong, muscular tail it thwacked the female diver in her torso, which made her reel backwards. Now anticipating an attack, the male diver shot the shark with his harpoon gun. The harpoon pierced the tough flesh of the shark, and it thrashed around, blood snaking and undulating through the water. The Sith Knight had watched enough late night holomovies to know that a river of blood like this, even from another shark would only attract more predators.

The shark suddenly dove down and charged the female diver who was still recovering on the sea bottom. To the dismay of her companion, the shark ripped her arm clean off of her body, causing more blood to pool out into the Western Sea. Darth Azurea heard Tanek’s voice in her head, reminding her that the strong will conquer the weak, but it felt very cowardly to tread water a few paces away and do nothing.

A Jedi power, like Breath Control, she could do without, but was she becoming a monster that she would just stand by idly and not help two people who were clearly in the wrong place at the wrong time? Using Telekinesis, Azurea Force pushed the shark away, and she swam frantically over to the man, gesturing to him to hand her the harpoon gun.

It did not take long for the meeting to get under way, as Kira sat back to watch the negotiations between the Corsai house, the Kuat branch of the IGBC and the central office here on Muun. In order to press into new territories for sales, she was going to need a substantial infusion of capital into her organization. New ships, new locations, new suppliers. Kira was trying to position the CMH for long term financial stability. Her right hand, Lorta sat next to her, her long blond hair braided smartly away from her face. She was lovely and ruthless, loving the deal almost as must as the hidden Sith Lord.

Or at least that is what it looked like from outside. Truthfully, Kira had arranged the meetings in order to get her people in place to investigation into a Muun named Lan Porgata's dealings with black market artifacts. Normally, not something she or her people would care about but lately his taste in artifacts had changed to ancient darksided items. The Muun's data security was such that she couldn't get a hack through their walls, but a trip planetside afforded her much more than a simple call would.

The negotiations dragged on, while her team of covert operatives close on Lan Porgata's house.

Ah, yes. Well, this use of heavy contrast made for more dramatic pieces, effectively conveying emotion and creating the powerful scene we see here.”

Hal nodded once again, not caring for the Muun's description of the painting at all. His focus was was instead upon another matter, one that was rather more self-beneficial. Although he could not imagine what he would have gained from listening about Gav Carlago's painting technique.

Malice. Torment. Pain.

Things he knew like that back of his hand were drawn to the forefront of his mind, giving birth to the power of the Dark Side of the Force. This was a practised motion for him by now, he would never opt to do anything without preparation, as unfortunate Acolytes and Knights had learned upon Byss.

Jaw flexed, the strong definition of his face showing as the Sith's skin seemed to become a slight more translucent, or did the veins beneath his skin become more prominent. The Force flowed throughout him, culminating within his rough hands like invisible fire.

The Head Librarian's words faded into the foreground, no longer important or valued in this scenario.

Suddenly Hal Terrano placed his hands upon Zhin Grottil's elongated head.

He was getting arrogant by now, and his pockets were getting dangerously full. He'd had the presence of mind to don a suit that had a great many inner pockets lining it, but even those were becoming stuffed to their limit. Pants, as well, and let's not talk about what lay underneath. He could, of course, always start storing things inside his own body, but that could easily get messy, not to mention it required some more maneuvering than your run-of-the-mill sleight of hand.

Maybe it was time to switch to a something else? He likely had enough jewelry on his person to open a new museum and get away with it — if that were in his interest, that is — but there were far greater treasures to be uncovered in a congregation such as this. Secrets, information, embarrassing drunken escapades. Truly, this was a gold mine for any and all who traded in intel as well as material goods.

And yes, you guessed it; Laguz was one of those, and he was damn good at it.

Which meant that he might very well end up exchanging some of the priceless pieces of art he'd lifted off of various people throughout the evening in favor of any intel they might possess — provided it was useful to the merc — and walk off perhaps a few grams lighter, but all the more wealthier in mind.

But that was all fine and well by the man, in the end. The information gained would come in useful to sway the votes of those who were still teetering on the precipice of decision — understandably so — if not through persuasion, through blackmail. Having no scruples really didn't come with as many downsides as all those heroic holovids would have you believe. If need be, the merc would forward some of the relevant data to certain parties in the room through encrypted channels and watch the dominoes fall.

It would truly be something.

Nomkneer headed east to where he was after he found Vehiva, his tuka'ta, he kept going east until he heard foot-steps, and sounds of moving armor. Nomkneer went deeper and deeper until he saw four mandalorians, they were making excavations in the middle of a group of trees, it seemed as if they were trying to find some ancient artifact, or maybe something hidden there that was very important, two of the mandalorians were walking beside cargo droids taking metal boxes of finds into the ship that got self destroyed, Nomkneer instantly thought " did these mandalorians not hear the explosion?, i know for a fact that trapped mandalor on the hatch could not send comms to help him out, but still, the noise". Nomkneer forgot that he had special training with the Mukhashi style, and his hearing was almost three times better than before, Nomkneer waited for the cargo droids to go with that single mandalorian, the other three stayed where they are, digging more intensively into the ground, deeper into the terrain. Nomkneer followed that single mandalorian, with the cargo droid away from the other three, Nomkneer wanted to investigate what was inside that cargo droids grabbers. As he got closer to the mandalorian and the cargo droids, he got farther away from the other three mandalorians. Nomkneer surprised the mandalorian with a kick that slammed him face first into a tree, his helmet wasnt even scratched, "beskar... great!" was the thought of Nomkneer as he had to face this new opponent who'm his armor was diffrent, now he had to figure out if he was fully beskar armored or if he had a part he had of another material, weaknesses Nomkneer had to find, and weaknesses was his specialty.
