Rebirth of the Monarch

His eyes burst to life as medical offices started their approach, the pitter patter forcing his mind to remain awake, he flipped his body over, arms outstretched as he made a sickened cough, he tried to move his legs, but they sat there unbudged and unable to move as pain slithered through his joints. A sinister laugh echoed not one filled with hatred, but joy had enveloped it, his eyes began to dart back and forth as his body propped up, as if a shockwave had given new life, though his limbs refused to budge under punishment of pain and suffering. "Really Kay?! You would do that for me! If I could move I would kiss you I am so happy.." he echoed out a cry as tears rolled down his cheeks a thin spray of velvet coating the inside of his mouth as the medical officers abducted his body, no signs of rebellion but a single echoing cry of joy as they began to move what could loosely be called a corpse onto a stretcher, his head bent down staring at Kay with childlike glee, along outstretched smile, his stained red teeth visible as his head bent to the side, his eyes wide open as blackness glared at her. It wasn't torturing that he was about to go through, but a gift that he would cherish till death. "Kay will torture Thraxis. My how the times have changed." the words rung in his mind as his eyes rolled into the back of his skull, the blackness of his pupils vanishing as white took over.

His head started to shake, back and forth as his black eyes rolled back down as his cheeks expanded, widening until a pool fo blood quickly spasmed out, covering his Phirik Chest as his head fell back, a whimsical thought being the last to straddle his mind. His sight began to blur as the doctors quickly began to put him to the side, letting the blood siphon out finally a deep black unconsciousness enveloped his mind though to the outside world it wouldn't seem like such. A twisted and contorted laughter echoed and resounded around him, the sound of gurgled blood as he began to choke on his own blood, the doctors quickly emptying his mouth of blood as even in a state close to death insanity still showed.

If Einon had a watch, he would be checking it. Did something happen to [member="Ghorua the Shark"] to cause the delay? Or perhaps he was trying to be sure that all was clear. The Herglic was a bounty hunter afterall, so it wasn't as though he didn't know what he was doing. Still, that didn't mean that he couldn't hurry up. He clenched his jaw while he waited, the impatience in him beginning to grow to anxiety, especially as he began to hear the commotion that [member="Ryn'Dhal"] was causing. And he was completely unaware that [member="Darlyn Excron"] was searching for him as well. If he knew, he'd start to wonder if Kay's gift of attracting trouble like a magnet was rubbing off on him.

Kay meanwhile, raised a brow as [member="Thraxis"] somehow managed to sit himself up. And he seemed...happy? Overjoyed? Insane? All of the above. At least the madman offered no resistance as he was taken away and stripped of anything that would pose a threat to the Queen. All except for his mind. The Jackal was taken care of. Kay had ordered that he be stitched up and healed, so he would be. The cell that he'd be brought to afterwards was nothing special; carved stone walls with a durasteel door. There wasn't even a bed or a window. Just a single light that was much too high for him to reach.

As [member="Veiere Arenais"] crossed the hallway, Kay's eyes were immediately drawn to him. She could feel the Jedi's presence in a way that was similar to her Master, but different. There was a man coming for her. She knew that, a voice told her as much. Was it him? But he didn't go to her. Still, that didn't stop her curiosity. So she walked down the hallway and stopped near the door but not stepping through, instead keeping herself hidden. From there she listened to the conversation between [member="Darth Prazutis"] and the mysterious stranger.

[member="Sareen Zar"] [member="Ultimatum"] [member="Samka Derith"] [member="Stardust Raxis"]

Most of Samka's time was spent in the shadows observing how [member="Lady Kay"]'s new regime handled things, searching for weaknesses even just in case things went wrong. The teenager wanted to trust Kay but when it came to the Sith, trust could never be handed out lightly and she had now seen for herself that it was indeed the Sith who were responsible. She had never met [member="Darth Prazutis"] face to face before but they had communicated together and coordinated forces from afar, even then the presence of the Dark Titan was unmistakable. So had he tortured her? Broken her? Had the hideous things she'd witnessed on Fornow happened to the woman who'd welcomed Sam with such kindness? The idea sent an unpleasant chill down her spine but maybe, just maybe, it was worth it. Worth it if the woman who came out was stronger both for herself and her people. Selfishly, she also thought about how any lingering problems with the growing relationship between Samka and Lady Kay should be fixed with this. No more fears from the Knights of Ren of her being pulled to the light and no more having to hide the darker deeds she'd done, deeds she'd enjoyed. So yes, Sam told herself, it may not be pleasant at all but true strength and liberation came from hardship, even so young she knew this well. It was worth it. It had to be.

The teenager checked her messages once more, something from the embassy she had to respond to about the rejected asylum requests but nothing more from [member="Veiere Arenais"]. Earlier she'd sent him a message and forwarded it on to everyone she could remember the Jedi reaching out to when Kay disappeared. The Bounty Hunter, [member="Ghorua the Shark"], the droid, [member="Ultimatum"], and another Jedi [member="Ryn'Dhal"]. [member="Thraxis"] was a no go, she'd heard the commotion from before. Truthfully, she expected only Veiere to respond, the only one of the others she'd ever met before was Ghorua and that was a long time ago under tense circumstances. They had no reason to trust her at all, only Veiere knew her feelings for Kay were genuine, but it was worth the attempt. Pursing her lips in mild irritation, Sam reread the message she sent out.

To Veiere and others whom this may concern,

I've just had a meeting with Commenor's new Queen. Things are worse than they appear. People are dying, or worse. We have to move quickly if we're to save the old Kay and Commenor itself. We need a plan, I might have something but we to coordinate in person. What's your location?
-S
It was heavily encrypted by the First Order's high priority diplomatic codes, every attempt to seem genuine. All she needed was to get inside their operation and blow it open... to ensure that Kay's journey towards the Dark Side was complete and irreversible. But they needed to trust her and judging by how she was already out of the loop, they didn't.

Tearing her eyes away from her messenger, Sam sought out Veiere's signature on a whim. Sometimes if two Force Users wanted to contact one another they could do so telepathically over long distances. There was a chance he distrusted electronic communications, favouring something direct and had been attempting to contact her for some time. There was almost nothing. Almost. He wasn't trying to communicate with her, no, but his signature was closer than it should have been.

She couldn't be seen. The trained assassin that she was, Samka Derith slipped into the shadows, masking her signature's current location with a cloud of the Dark Side's fear and hate.

Ryn'Dhal said:
"Lead on, Ghorua, I'll watch your back."
Ghorua, despite his bitter attitude, found a smile. At least someone understood the situation for what it was. There was a reason Ghorua wasn't entirely on the side of the Jedi, and held a few bad feelings towards [member="Veiere Arenais"]. Despite his belief that they were better for the galaxy than the Sith, he felt their moral dilemmas and indecision, coupled with some that performed borderline terrorism, kept them from doing what was necessary in the long run. Perhaps the Herglic's actions would have immediate ill-effects on the populace, but it was a risk he was willing to take to possibly end this all as quick as possible.

As he and [member="Ryn'Dhal"] arrived at the outskirts of Chasin City, Ghorua removed something from a satchel at his side. He wrapped his photoreceptive spidersilk elaxtex cloak around his massive form, and effectively vanished. The cloth obscured his massive form, and protected him from many forms of detection, making the Herglic's easily-identifiable form disappear into a faint shimmer.

They walked through the city slowly, making sure to avoid most detection. Ghorua was impressed by the feline's stealth, but had expected it. He had researched most all of Kay's friends, and had a decent grasp of their styles and tactics. The thought gave him slightly more confidence.

His helm bleeped, alerting him to a message from [member="Samka Derith"]. He ignored it for now. There was a reason he didn't call her immediately. Upon first impressions, she seemed like a decent, if not hormone-filled and ambitious person, but he couldn't trust her. Not yet, anyways.

Eventually, Ghorua's helmet beeped into his ear, alerting him that Einon was near. Another voice erupted from his other side, and Ghorua jumped slightly as Ryn told him of the situation. He grinned, and turned to thank the Silver Jedi, but the little warrior was already gone. He could only shake his head, and watch from his drone in the air as Ryn led the soldiers away. The Shark quickly rounded the corner, coming face to face with the man himself.

"Sorry for the wait." The Bounty Hunter's shimmering form was barely perceptible, except for where his cloak's hood was, showing his white faceplate. "Let's get you out of the open, shall we?"

It was natural Darlyn was caught off guard when he heard the sounds of soldiers telling a masked man to stop, and the sound of boots. He ducked into a dark indentation in the wall, letting the group pass by swiftly. So he wasn't the masked man, yet who were they chasing? He opened his mind, staying still to greater focus his search. Of course he found little for who they chased, but, ah there was a familiar presence. A heavy, angry one he knew very well. The mirrored mask did well to hide his grin, as he slipped out and hurried along the streets and back alleyways. There were benefits to hunting a man through the force, and it was paying off now. He slowed as he approached, drawing his blaster as he neared.

As if on cue immediately following Ghorua's words, Darlyn slipped out of the shadows behind the both of them, perhaps not unheard but certainly well hidden. His pistol was in hand, and it was aimed at Einon's head as he chuckled. "Well well, what have we here? A bounty hunter helping someone with a warrant, and subsequent bounty, on their head? My how the mighty have fallen..." He clucked his tongue lightly, before putting his blaster away. "It's a good thing I owe Kay my life and I value that debt more than breakfast tomorrow. I don't suppose you have a plan, old fish?"

Einon breathed a sigh of relief when [member="Ghorua the Shark"] finally showed up. Even though he could hardly see him, he knew his voice and knew of no one else that stood at that height.

And then [member="Darlyn Excron"] arrived. He narrowed his eyes at the man as the pistol was trained on him. Yet before Einon could react, it was removed. Kay's former head of security could only smirk as he turned his attention back to the hidden Herglic. "Yes, let's get me out of the open. There's much to talk about and much to do." That was about as much as he wanted to say right now. They needed to get to somewhere safe.

Toil in her mind, ideas rushing around as she sat in solitude, she had finally formulated a plan...it was a risk but it was a plan none the less

She had to make it look like she was on kays side, make it look like she had been waiting for something like this all along

So....her resolve was steady, she had her motive, she gathered the force more and more around her...heavy with the dark side...she wanted her presence to be tainted with the dark side...so when one looked they'd see more dark then light

Now to just wait...

Ultimatum was gladdened when the message came through for him to be allowed access to the surface. The shuttle began its descent automatically, maneuvering towards the closest spaceport near the once [member="Lady Kay"]'s abode. While the ship planned the landing and communicated funds to the spaceport for basic maintenance and refueling, Ultimatum sent a message to Kay through the old lines. "Queen Kay, or Empress if you would prefer. I would be most appreciative if I may schedule a meeting with your highness at the next available opportunity."

The droid wondered if the message would actually be responded to by Kay herself, or of she were busy with other company and that his message would be relegated to some underling or manager to take care of. If truly bothered Ultimatum little, there was time for this as long as was needed. No doubt she was having to deal with other matters, perhaps rebellious sentiment among the populace or betrayals from within. Whatever the circumstances, the artificial being was willing to wait out the new queen. She meant a lot to the droid, even if he was not quite confident in stating as much. To his mind, admitting such connections was to allow weaknesses that could be easily used against him. He could not allow that to happen in his current work environment. There were enough odd variables without adding his own weaknesses into the mix.

Sareen sat alone in his cell, a simple rudimentary room fit for a lizard so degraded as he. After the fairly prideful guards threw him in, locking the door on the outside, Sareen had just sat and waited. He could look for some way to escape, but it would be futile to do such a thing. Through his many many years of Bounty Hunting, Enslaving, and etcetera he knew when he was beat. Besides, it gave him time to think, soberly, for the most part. Who knew after all that had happened in his life he would end up in jail, it was definitely the place he deserved but he didn't see his closure coming in a jail. Oh who was he kidding, form what he had seen [member="Lady Kay"] had gone, authoritarian all over the planet, crashing a ship into her palace, the Queen's palace, would end in a death sentence.

Sareen contemplated death, death at the hand of the woman who a few years ago had been the very bane of his existence. Zar would finally get to meet the reverent Scorekeeper and his eternal fate would be decided by his Jagganath score. Despite the turmoil in his life, the failures, Sareen's golden years, his time with the Hutt Cartel as the Slave Master, most definitely had earned him a spot on one of the high levels of the Scorekeeper's domain, Sareen had no doubt he had brought an end to enough sentients and non-sentients alike to amass a favorable Jagganath score.

A guard swore from outside, most likely stubbing his toe or knocking his head, the man only slightly aggravated. Sareen's thoughts interrupted, he took a deep breath and began to slowly let his mind take his attention. But rather than considering his death, he know felt it good time to critique his plan coming here. Sareen could only come to one conclusion, what was he thinking? Had all those years fighting and eventually drinking really taken such a toll? Had that last bottle of brandy really intoxicated him far enough to commit to such an idiotic move? Whatever the reason, he was here, after a brief confrontation with those damned guards, he never even saw the Queen. Well there was one good thing about being in this situation. If he was to be executed the Queen might be present, so Zar could get one last glare into the human's eyes before being sent to the Scorekeeper herself.

Ghorua whipped around when he heard the voice behind him, his spidersilk cloak whipping with the sudden force. Two slugthrower pistols appeared from the invisible folds, primed and ready to reign destruction on the possible threat. Ghorua's helmet mapped out the new player, his HUD automatically tagging the blaster in [member="Darlyn Excron"]'s hand, and the lightsaber hidden on him. Facial Recognition immediately kicked in, but the Shark didn't need it. He knew a former partner when he saw one.

That didn't make him any more trusting of the situation.

When Darlyn relented, putting his weapon aside, Ghorua did the same, dropping his arms behind his cloak again. The white helmet showed no emotion, but Ghorua hid a neat smirk behind it. "What a coincidence. Or, at least, I wish it was." Ghorua looked over his shoulder, to the tiny Einon. "First step; Let's get you off the streets."

Ghorua quickly found an adequate hiding spot. He had spent some time in Chasin City, enough to know the ins and outs of the streets. He had even secretly operated a few hunts in the alleys, in his own little crusade to better the Lady's kingdom. It was all apparently for naught, but his time had taught him a few hideouts. One of which was decently close.

A few blocks of brisk jogging brought the group to a large abandoned warehouse. This had been one of the outlying factories the cartel set up when they attempted to drug up the streets of Commenor. It was a large building, with a domed ceiling, and slightly rusted walls. The hidden Herglic crushed the padlock blocking their entrance, and pushed the doors open, beckoning the others inside, and shutting the door with little more than a creak.

Ghorua put his back to the door, and eyed Darlyn suspiciously. Despite their history, Ghorua knew betrayals were common in the life of a Hunter. The arrival of an old friend could either bode fortune, or disaster.

"We'll catch up later." Ghorua specifically didn't tell the Force-Sensitive hunter his plan, but he figured it would become clear in time. "Einon, I wish we were meeting under more favorable circumstances, but I need your help." Ghorua pushed back his hood, and removed his helmet, revealing a sweaty, concerned expression. "First off, I want to know all the details of what's happened here. I have an idea, and it ain't pretty." A tired grimace greeted his words, and perhaps a twinge of anger.

"Secondly, if I were to sneak into the palace, how would be the best way to do that? Guard postings, weak points, blind spots, anything I could use. And thirdly..."

Ghorua hesitated, debating something inwardly. "I need to find Kay's lightsaber. It's kinda important." Underneath his cloak, he patted Trident, feeling the familiar phrik pole resting against his leg.

He would need the saber pike back to it's glory days if he ever hoped of standing up to the Lady, and whoever corrupted her.

The empty room started to make Darben more nervous, as well as bored. The answer he received wasn't very comforting either. A room like this made him uncomfortable, especially under the circumstances. So he started to hum to himself to try and keep himself calm, a little jingle he'd learnt from some other traveling merchants on his home planet that they used to pass the time. His foot tapped as well, but that was because he was nervous, mostly. All he did was think about what was in store for him, and what he could do to keep Mute safe. He couldn't assure himself the others would come, he had no idea what was happening, if anything was happening.

As Kay was trying to eavesdrop on [member="Veiere Arenais"] and [member="Darth Prazutis"] , it seemed as though the Force had other plans for her. One of her servants approached and bowed, handing her a datapad. She looked it over, noting whom the message came from. [member="Ultimatum"] . Earlier he had been granted clearance to land and now he was was asking for permission to see her when she was willing. It was an odd message, one that didn't seem so sure. It made her wonder if the droid was nervous. But she didn't remember him at all, so she wasn't sure if he was even capable of emotions. Quickly she whipped up a reply for him:

~Queen Kay is fine. Come to the Palace in two hours.~

With the blast doors still down, she wasn't sure if Ultimatum would be able to get in. But they could be up by then. She wasn't sure.

The servant still didn't leave. He whispered quietly in her ear. Kay frowned slightly and nodded. "Alright, let's go." She followed the servant down to her office and stepped inside. Once there she stood on her holo-transmission pad.

Meanwhile at the warehouse where [member="Stardust Raxis"] was being held, a guard opened the door. Another guard took Star's arm and led her to a window that looked over Star's own warehouse. Then the first guard flicked on the holoprojector. Kay's holo-form appeared before her. "You wanted to see me? As you can imagine, my schedule is filling up rather quickly since my return."

**************************************

Einon followed [member="Ghorua the Shark"] and [member="Darlyn Excron"] without question. It didn't surprise him too much that Ghorua had some place to go. He knew that the Herglic had been here on numerous occassions.

To his many questions, Einon hoped that his answers would help. "First question. She came back just today, as far as I know. Though she could have come earlier since she had already seen the Elders and either found them dead, as they were very old or....she murdered them. She's different, darker, she didn't even recognize me. I saw it on her face when she just walked past me and I saw it on her public broadcast. There is no warmth in her now...It's hard to explain. It's probably got to do with that Force mumbo-jumbo that she dabbled in a little. So I knew that I was in danger and more useful elsewhere. I got out."

He could really use a stiff drink right now. But he didn't fill up hia flask before he left the bar. "As for your second question, the tunnels would be easier, as well as the secret passageways behind the walls. But keep in mind, she knows about them. So you can bet that whoever is pulling her strings knows them too. My guess is to go through the roof. Use the chimneys, the domes. Cause a distraction down below and keep the eyes of security there. That's what I would do."

Einon then lifted up one of his pant legs and pulled out Kay's lightsaber that was bound to it. He held it up to Ghorua. "Here's the answer to your third question, right here." No ignition switch was visable, just a pressure plate. The switch was inside and accessed only by the Force in combination with the pressure plate.

Darker, didn't recognize Einon, her aide, who she no doubt had extensive contact with. Darlyn listened quietly, removing his mirrored mask, something he normally would never do, and clipping it to his belt. There was no doubt in his mind, she had been turned to the darkside, yet something still felt off. He personally cared not if Kay was a darksider or lightsider, yet the way he described her... it was wrong. He unclipped his lightsaber, tossing it to Ghorua to demonstrate his trust of the herglic as he thought. Something... big... was wrong. Time could wear away memory, but humans, or humanoids, were exceptionally good at remembering faces for the most part. This was the fact that made him teeter on the edge of making a choice to commit to a foolish plan, or to allow the Queen to stay as she wished.

He shook his head and paced the ground, allowing Ghorua and Einon several minutes to speak. He was forming an idea, about what had happened, and he wanted to be certain it was exactly what he thought before he dared to speak. She was fallen, that was certain, but the memory... He recalled for a moment Terroc, Tarroc? Whatever the pilot from his mission on Bespin was, his job for Kay. The man left shaken with them, after being interrogated.. perhaps something similar. A mind-based power to lock away memories? Or, perhaps she had been truly destroyed, and rebuilt once more. It wasn't so much a stretch to say the mind-reading powers the first order had demonstrated in interrogation could be re-purposed...

"She's been corrupted by the darkside." He spoke up after some time, turning to face [member="Ghorua the Shark"]. "And I mean corrupted. Do you recall the First Order, specifically the Knight of Ren that interrogated our pilot on Bespin? How he was afterwards? I think something similar happened to Kay. If she didn't recognize Einon, she might not recognize anyone... no wait.. she certainly must recognize some people..." He hummed, shaking his head. "In whatever case, we can expect either Ren or Sith interference in this. Someone powerful. Someone willing to put time into plans... Ghorua, Einon, how willing are you both to do what must be done to ensure Kay's safety?"

She was still technically blind, however she had pushed that power to allowing the dark side to her...a mask to wear...to be able to get closer to see what was going on, she looked towards the sound as she gave a smile

ahhhh queen kay, I must say it is a shame that you not meeting me in person, but I understand as a queen myself your constantly busy

She paused for a moment to open her eyes...a slight yellow glow coming from them

i do apologize for my chaos I caused, I wanted my disguise to be thrown off to your eyes first...I've waited a long time wearing a mask off good...now I have my chance

Her eyes opened fully, the taint of the dark side obvious in them

queen kay, I queen stardust, wish to meet you personally, I am a ally and a powerful one for you....and I wish to see you reign last for a thousand years

She knew the others would be hurt by this...but it was a calculated risk that was needed

Damn.... they were tenacious, these guards. Ryn simply couldn't shake them. And reinforcements were arriving by the dozens. Looks like a rendezvous isn't in the cards.... he mused, taking a turn down a side avenue, before willing the Force through his body. He became like a blur, as the first guard realized and called out the nature of their quarry...

"JEDI!!!!!"

But it was too late to stop the living blur of shadow. Over the coms he spoke to Ghorua. "Big guy, looks like you're going to have to proceed without me. I have a secret entrance in..... I'll see you on the inside....", with the coms falling silent a moment after....

________________________________

Some time later, Ryn would find himself stalking his way down the halls from the Queens chambers, using his unique brand of acrobatics to gain access. His keen hearing found his way to a large foyer, where he witnessed multiple things at once....

A sorely depraved, and terribly injured man being carted away, Knight Veiere addressing a sinister figure, and finally, his beloved sister.... stalking near, he saw the projection of Star, obviously imprisoned, and a cold fury burned anew in the helmeted Jedi.

"Perhaps you could pencil me in now, dear sister...." the booming voice broke the relative hush of the chamber, having just finished settling after the psychopaths dramatic entrance.

As [member="Stardust Raxis"] wasn't close to her, Kay wasn't able to feel or tell if she was being genuine. So there needed to be a test. "Very well then. I'll have you brought to the Palace. However, we are currently under lockdown. In the meantime, I'll provide you with some entertainment."

She nodded to one of the guards and the transmission was cut off. Star was then positioned at the window in view of her warehouse. Some nondescript chatter was overheard, followed by a dozen soldiers entering Star's warehouse. The flashes of blasterfire was seen through the windows, as well as the sounds of screaming. No one was killed, for they needed to go through processing. But to those watching from outside, what Kay did was order a massacre.

[member="Ryn'Dhal"] 's voice caused Kay to turn around. Her jaw clenched. Standing before her was obviously one of the people whose memories were ripped from her mind by [member="Darth Prazutis"] . There was no recognition in her eyes, not in the slightest. Only the twinkle in the yellow speckles of her dark eyes was noted. "And what do you want? Can't you tell I'm busy? I'll be the one to tell YOU when you can be penciled in. Not the other way around." Her eyes narrowed as she stepped towards him. "Got it?"

Ghorua listened to Einon speak, recording the conversation with his helmet for future use. It was worse than even he had anticipated. She had well and truly turned. He may not be able to save her. He may have to...

Stop it, Balin. Maybe it won't come to that.

The news that there were underground tunnels were welcome. They seemed like the safest option, both for passerby's and himself. As much as he hated to admit it, [member="Veiere Arenais"] had a point. Any immediate action would convert into possible civilian casualties. But he needed to go. He'd been waiting, months, for any sign of the Lady. He wasn't going to wait any longer. This needed to happen. Now.

Then Einon handed Ghorua the lightsaber, and his musing turned to wonder.

The last time he had seen it, he and Kay had been friends. Now she was gone, and the cylinder before him may be the only memory of Kay's legacy.

Legacy. What is a legacy...?

Don't care.

"Thank you, Einon. This means more than you know." Ghorua took the weapon in his palm, and stashed it away into his bandoleer. He would only destroy the piece of art if it were completely necessary. "My ship is parked in the Twin Canyons. I'll send you coords. If I don't return in... two hours, or if there are any complications, get out of here." Ghorua placed a hand on the human's shoulder, and let out a low hauum.

Ghorua received a message from [member="Ryn'Dhal"], excusing himself from the situation. He cursed himself silently. He really should've expected this if he had left the feline alone. He was prone to 'rolling with the punches'. He turned off his comm, and looked pver his shoulder, as [member="Darlyn Excron"] added to the conversation. He could only shake his head, and return his helmet to it's position.

"I'll do what has to be done, Darlyn." Ghorua muted his helm to the outside world, and growled. A sudden dark surge in the force flared when Ghorua's anger grew.

He didn't understand why everyone cared for the Lady's safety over the populace's. Perhaps it was because he was more used to betrayal. He wasn't sure, but he did know that he would end this, sooner than later.

With that, he stepped out into the street once more, fastening his cloak around himself, disappearing from view.

The Dark Lords gaze fell hard on [member="Veiere Arenais"] as the man entered the chamber. A Jedi no doubt by the swirling aura of light around him, a flickering torch in the sea of undulating darkness emanating from the mysteriously armed monster in the center of the chamber. Carefully Prazutis reached out to each of the newly arriving individuals. The man in front of him was calm, composed...but then.

The anger.

The anger boiling from deep beneath the surface of [member="Ryn'Dhal"] was like a moth to a flame for the Sith Lord. The Jedi Master could barely contain the surge of emotions raging, no doubt he was one of the individual friends of the old [member="Lady Kay"] he had ripped away. Out of the group that came to the palace it was this singular weakness, this singular individual who drew the Dark Lords attention, the one loose thread among them and he would pull until it all unwound. He gestured to a side door calling upon the force to throw the doors open, revealing the side hall the unique feline stood in.

"I am the Destroyer." He said to Veiere before directing his attention to Ryn'Dhal in the side hall. Carefully the Dark Lord called upon the black power of the dark side to violently crash into the felines mind to deliver a message "Weak, worthless Jedi. You attempt to reason with a woman I killed long ago. Where were you when she was kidnapped? Where were you when she bled and breathed her last breaths? You are just like she once was: worthless."

Killed?!
Killed?!
KILLED?!?!
The word echoed in the Jedi's mind, curdling like spoiled milk. It incensed him. His pulse spiked, his blood pressure rising. A sharp intake of breath, as an almost involuntary step back was given. But, it was not a retreating motion, but an aggressive one, as he would flick his wrists, twin lightsabers leaping from his hips into his hands. The iconic snap-hiss resonating through the chamber, as an audible snarl escaped clawed agonizingly out his throat.

"YOU DID WHAT!?" he roared, glaring through the faceplate at the Sith Lord before him. A visible tremble ran through his body, as his tail thrashed unseen beneath his cloak. Every fiber of his being demanded attack. Call for the blood of this.... man.... He struggled valiantly to keep the beast at bay. "You..... You.... will fix this....." he started to demand, before shaking his head, rising slightly to stand upright again. A slow, steadying breath was taken, the rage simmering down only slightly.

But then his next words crashed into the young Jedi like a freighter. "Where..... where was I?!" he stammered at the implication that Ryn'Dhal didn't even try to find Kay. "I scoured the stars for her!" Again, tremors wracked the Jedi. Again, the blood-lust was threatening to take him. This monster needed to feel his pain. Their pain. The pain he's cause all who had been touched by Kay.

And by the Force did Ryn want to deliver it.
