I do not see any reason why these rank tags should be official when you've already made your own and have been proudly displaying them in your signature, but by that point of view then all of our other rank titles are useless as well. I guess my point being is that you do not need words below your portrait to signify your force sect or occupation, as you're still Ren regardless.
